Let's Have Some Fun
As Pinkie Pie stood in the library, she was being overcome with a feeling that everyone thought wasn't possible for her to feel. Anxiety. She was anxious for once, and it was at the plan she had coming. Earlier she came to Twilights Library to discuss something that sounded good to everyone. Now, she was waiting. Her eyes scanned the shelves but she didn't care what books there were. She was walking around but she didn't have anything to see. She was feeling a thing that would've made her pass out a few days ago. Pinkie Pie was bored. She had devoted her life to avoiding the feeling, but it was coming back now. Boring was evil. All it did was try and fail to fill in the empty moments of life, and made it worse by doing so. After what felt like an eternity, a familiar light tapping was coming down the stairs. The sign of another life form made Pinkie Pie happy. "Okay, I'm back, what did you want to tell me?" said the purple unicorn Twilight Sparkle, who was now in the same room as Pinkie.
"It's about a kind of party! And since it's early," answered Pinkie Pie, who flicked her pink mane toward the window, which had the light of the late morning sun seeping through it, "It can be planned today. Since you, Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and I are off for today, we could have some sort of time together this evening,"
Twilight Sparkle raised an eyebrow. She curled her neck back and pulled a piece of paper out from upstairs with her telekinetic magic. She fashioned the flying sheet in front of her eyes and studied it. What she found is that Pinkie was right. "Wow, we all are free today," she said. The surprising sight opened her eyes up. "Maybe we should do something like that,"
"Yep! We can all spend time together now that we're free for the day. And I asked everyone yesterday, well, everyone but you, and they all said it's okay," said Pinkie Pie, who was bouncing up and down while she was talking, "so now, we just need to figure out where to have it at,"
Twilight Sparkle looked up and behind her too see upstairs. It would be a fair space for them six, so she got the idea in her mind of hosting whatever Pinkie had in mind at her home. "I guess I could have it here," she said in complementation, "what exactly do you have in mind for this evening?"
Pinkie Pies smile widened for obvious reasons, and then answered the question, saying, "Well, when I asked everyone about it one pony suggested making it a sleepover-"
"Okay! Sleepover it is!" said Twilight Sparkle, cutting off Pinkie Pie. Sleepover was exactly the answer she wanted.
"Well, I guess we should start in about eight hours. I guess you should go home and come back once I call, okay?"
"Okay! See ya later, alligator!" responded Pinkie Pie, who backed out through the door. She was gone.
Twilights smile faded soon after the door closed. She sighed and turned back into her room, now having to clean her house to add on top of all the things she needed to do today.
As she tapped into her magic, Twilight Sparkle subconsciously fixed everything in obvious sight physically while her magic fixed whatever went unnoticed. Within an hour- a very, very fast hour at that- the room was completely perfect. Except for a small closet that was covered by a false paint job, but she never dared to try to clean that place up. From what she could predict, Twilight once measured that if she tried to clean the closet up with just magic, it would kill her.
Twilight Sparkle looked around her room from the center, moderately and silently impressed by her effortless work.
"Well, looks like there's just one thing left to kill the time," she announced to herself. She telekinetically levitated herself- a feat she kept hidden for obvious reasons- unto a chair in the corner of the room. Instinctively, the purple unicorn offered herself a book from a location her physical mind didn't know and kicked herself back. "...reading." she finished. Well, that didn't take long.
Eight hours had passed since the time gap has been established. Who else to show up and not a millisecond too late or early than Pinkie Pie. The knock at the door echoed through the house, which had little more sound than the heartbeat of its owner. Twilight Sparkle once again magically opened the door while simultaneously walking towards the mare on the other side of it. "Hello Pinkie," she greeted, with her genuine smile still on from eight hours ago.
"Hello Twilight!" re-greeted the Pink mare. "So,
"Well then, I guess we should call everyone over right now i guess, since it will be night in about four hours anyway."
Twilight Sparkle once again confirmed herself of Pinkie Pies statement, seeing out the window an pre-evening sun. It was probably even a little late to hold it now, but that wouldn't stop them, of course. "Yeah, we probably should."
Twilight re entered the room that would host the sleepover she was apparently having. Her horn lit up with magic, readying the area for the visitors soon to come- along with the one that was already here. It dawned on her early that her room was completely perfect. Spike was no where to be seen- probably sleeping somewhere weird again, if anywhere. "Uhh, Pinkie Pie, you can come up here," she called down.
"I know that."
Twilight Sparkle jumped at the sight of the pink pony who had suddenly popped into the same room as her. "Okay, so, lets call up the mares down here."
One after another, each of the four still waiting mares were invited to the sleepover. Each of them said yes- Twilight and Pinkies schedules had not been off, and before the last call was made out to Fluttershy, the open window at the side of the room became the entrance of the cyan Pegasus Rainbow Dash. "Hey you two," she greeted the mares inside, "so this is what you meant by party. Eh, probably a better idea than that would've been."
"Hello Rainbow Dash," welcomed Twilight Sparkle, who had a pink friend sitting in the background, smiling as the unicorn talked, "the other three should be here soon."
