Please Note that this story is a Yu-Gi-Oh Cross over with standard rules, the decks inside will be based more around the style of play up to GX. No Synchro or Xyz's monsters will be featured however some of the cards around those eras may crop up. Please note they are anthro ponies and I do accept OC's to be put into the story if interested.

What happens when duel monsters is introduce into Equestria, it becomes a big hit for years to come, set 2 years after Nightmare moons return, everypony loves Duel Monsters and loves taking each other on, however something dark comes from the shadows, powerful cards known as Shadow Cards that corrupt whoever uses them. A tournament has been held with the winner gaining the honor to face Celestia in a duel, however if that user is a controller of a shadow card, who knows what the repercussions could be.
