"Don't you wish you had a double life?" said a voice, nearby me. I was too zoned out, staring blanker than blank at my lunch tray of an apple core and some half eaten pizza. I fiddled with some of the cheese that was loose with my plastic fork when I felt something prod my shoulder twice. It snapped me back in and my head snaps to see that it's my girlfriend Rey trying to grasp my attention. I smiled at her, as a notification that I'm "Back to Earth" as she calls it. One of her friends was doing another what if speech but it at least seemed interesting so I decided to let her roll since it seemed she was already on one.

"Like, what if in the day you're just some boring guy but then late at night you're some secret CIA agent hunting down terrorists that want to destroy America?" She inquired, eyes shining like it's the best idea she had though of yet in her life. We were only at lunch for an hour before we were to head back to classes. My girlfriend beside me, Rey as I mentioned earlier, has been in a relationship with me for about 2 years now. We didn't have any classes with each other this year, so lunch was our only way of being able to meet up.

"I'm pretty sure that'd suck really." Rem replied with, looking confident as if she knew the comment would spark a word war. What? Word war? Yeah, I said it....Fine, argument. Anyways, Rey was taking classes in law, so she knew what and how to say things in a way to spark something in your brain. Whether it be anger, remorse, or joy, she'd make you click.

"Huh, sorry what?" her friend said.

"I said, that'd suck. I mean, think about it Amy, what if something in either part of your "lives" super big happens? Then what? There goes saving the world or saving your paycheck! Maybe during a mission you got captured to getting stuck in agonizing traffic for about hours? There goes everything." Rey retorted with.

Rey: 1 Amy: Zeroooo

"Well, when you put it that way."

"I'm sorry are you going to argue against that?"

"One day I will and your law classes won't do dirt against it!" Amy sternly pledged, pointing a finger in Rey's face.

"That's what you mark on me every time, you have yet to do it." Rey countered with while moving Amy's finger from her face.

I swear she's the best sometimes.

Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! went the bell that echoed among the room, informing us that it's time to return to classes.

I stretched out. "Wheeeelp looks like it's back to Fessimers before I can catch some z's." I kiss and hug Rey.

"See you later Leon." Rey waves goodbye and leaves out the other way.

I pick up my bookbag, and head for my last class which was mainly Computer Sciences. We had a test today and was hoping my friend studied because what we had to learn for the test will be needed to be known for our next project, which we planned to do together and ace. On my way to the class though, something weird happened. Halfway to the class, it's as if everything slowed down for nearly a minute and I faintly say something zip straight past me. Once it has done that everything was back to normal but, I bumped into someone.

"Sorry!" I called.

The event must've literally been a minute because I had made it to class merely seconds before the bell rang again. I sat myself down and prepared for the test. Mr.Fessimer began to immediately hand out tests and I awaited mine.

Let's do this.

"Uhhhhhhhhhg" I signed as I fell onto my bed with a PLOMPH. Even no matter how much I had studied for that test, that had physically and mentally wore me out to the core. I turned the TV on so I could doze off because I fall asleep faster when there's something going on in the background. I closed my eyes and instantly went asleep. The dream I had, however was incredibly weird but it felt like a flashback. It went straight back to when I felt everything slow down in the hallway but this time it went for about an eternity.

"Hello?..Hello?...hello?" My voice echoed through the hallways abyss. I started to hear whispering, which became, muttering, which became talking. It was like a playback of my whole day but my vision started to get swirly. My body felt tingly, like when your foot goes asleep tingly. Next thing I know, I was in space. Or what I thought it was. I looked and spun around looking everywhere. It wasn't space, it was my mind! There were memories and visions from my early childhood to my first days in college. I even noticed what had recently happened at lunch.

"This is too damn surreal." I finally said. The words flew out of my mouth quickly, like if I was chocking on them.

Something began to appear over the memories. It was a constant playback of the lunch room with Amy constantly repeating the sentence.

"What if you lived a double life?"

This started scarring me to death. Why am I in my mind? Before I knew it, I started falling from the room, and into some other room. Except this time, it wasn't any room, it was an elevator. A certain song was in the middle of playing. I slowly got up and looked at the buttons I could press. There was only three options though. "Up" "Down" and "Exit".

"What could possibly go wrong?" I asked and pressed the up button, hoping I'd wake up by now. Once I did I hear an audible beep and I felt the elevator begin to rise upwards. Once it finally stopped it opened and there was a room. Little did I know though, there was a woman standing there in a dress. She had quite the looks, as she seemed like royalty in a sense. Her dress was a darker shade of blue that was a long length. I noticed a mark near he right thigh on her dress which was the crescent moon over a black splotch. It was quite the dress. Her physique on the other hand was throwing my mind left and right. She had very defined curves with a beautiful face. Upon her head donned a crown that had the same mark on her dress in the middle of it. It was like she was some moon goddess.

"We welcome you." She greeted. I nervously looked around. There was nobody else here.

"W-Uh...We?" I asked

"Yes, we have been meaning to contact you for the time being, did you not earlier reach our message?" The woman inquired.

It soon clicked. She was the one who did that weird thing in the hallway.

"I-I think I did, but I had to get to class. Sorry" I looked down at the ground.

"No need to be sorrowful, we simply are here to take a survey from thee. Then we shall leave you be."

Heh, that rhymed.

"It did?" She wondered.

"Woah, woah. You just read my mind!"

"Indeed I have, you see, I am a powerful deity." She explained, no matter how bs it seemed. Royalty maybe but, a deity is waaayyy over the line.

"What's the survey. Please tell me." I demanded. The woman raised her hand as if to tell me to calm down yet not be afraid at the same time.

"We are simply here to ask if thee would like to partake in duplicity." She conveyed.

"Wait are you asking me if I want a..." My jaw dropped beyond the floor.

Don't you wish you had a double life?

The woman just stood there, vigilantly waiting for me to answer her. I mean, Rey gave an excellent explanation of why it'd suck to have a double life. Yet still, it would be pretty awesome to have one. I just needed to think a long, long time for this.

"We may take your answer when ready." said the woman.

"I have my answer." I replied.

"Oh, pray-tell."

"Look, that sounds cool and all but I think I'd need a while to think about this...If it's cool with you."

"It is agreed, we shall meet here again but, for now we will bid thee a goodbye, Mr.Gant. Just make sure that you find what you think is right, as your once choice you decide on will be final and that's it, do you understand?"

"Yes ma'am." I gulped.

"By the way miss, I didn't get your name." I remembered. The woman gave me a warming smile.

"You may call me Luna, Princess Luna." She answered.

What a nice name

"Now wake up, Mr.Gant, you have a message from your close one." She finalized. Once she finished that sentence, I felt everything whip back like some fast roller-coaster took a full on 180 degrees turn and took me back to real life. I quickly jumped up and looked at my phone, it had a text message from Rey, just like the princess said.

Hey, we're heading over to Shocks for a big meetup. You game? read the message.

"Sure" I replied.

I took a quick shower, put some new clothes on, grabbed my phone and headed out the door. Only thing was that my mind was clouded by the super trippy dream I just had.

It is agreed, we shall meet here again but, for now we will bid thee a goodbye, Leon. Just make sure that you find what you think is right, as your once choice you decide on will be final and that's it, do you understand? bounced around my head. I had to make a decision by tomorrow and it had to be final. I wonder what the others would think of this. Hell, they'd think I finally lost it. Minus well keep this just between me, myself, and I.

"Guess I have some actual thinking to do." I grumbled as I walked towards my car.
