My name is Tyler and it has been about 4 months since my parents kicked me out and i'm starting to better and better about it everyday. My friends were happy when I started to go on my own, especially my best friend Keith. We were walking on the street talking casually. "Dude, how are you not concerned about your money issues?" said one of my friends named Freddy, he usually wears a grey jacket and some ragged jeans. "Look it's not that big of a deal, i'm going to get paid at the end of this week." I said in a serious voice. "That's not the point, even if you do get paid you won't have enough to buy food and drinks and pay the bills." said my other friend Martha, she wears many different colored clothes, mostly purple.
"fine, i'll work over time." I said
"good, now run on home, young one." said my friend Vinyl with a mocking voice, not the real Vinyl, she just legally changed her name and then dressed up like her. We all say she is just obsessed with her, but she always denies it.
There was a short silence, until everyone started chuckling. "So anyways, how many places did you tag last night?" said Keith
"Shhhhhh..." I said pointing at a cop car parked in front of a doughnut shop, then there was another chuckle when noticing it was a doughnut shop.
When they knew that no one would hear them, Tyler said "About 2, but then I just got tired and ran when I heard sirens."
The conversation went on, until we got to my house. Our hearts were racing when we saw a police car in my drive-way and a police man waiting for me.
"Why is he here?" asked Freddy
I answered with a scared voice "I think i'm a suspect of the tags"
I walked up to the officer while my friends stayed back. The officer turned around and I noticed it was my brother, Jack. "Dude, you gave me a big scare, so why are you..." My voice trailed off once I noticed his eyes were red and there were tears on his face.
He then played a recording of him talking to mom and dad, Jack talked first on the recording "Hey mom, what's up?" Then mom started to talk "I called because your brother won't pick up the phone and i'm on my way home, anyways tell him that he can... OH SHIT!" There was a screech from the tires, then there was a crash and the signal was lost.
I immediately started to tear up knowing what it means. Jack started to speak, but talking between chokes of sadness "Their fu... funeral is... is in 2 weeks."
I walked up to my friends, told them everything and then told them to leave me alone for a few hours. They nodded and then walked away leaving him alone as instructed.
He went inside his his house and slumped onto his couch turning off the T.V. he left on. He just sat there for hours thinking of the good and bad times with his parents, the bad times made him sob more. When he checked the clock, it was 10 o, clock. He grabbed the remote and turned on one of his favorite shows, MLP:FIM. After the show was over, he went to his room thinking about how everything would be better with the mane 6 ponies or just living in Equestria.
Right before he started to close his eyes, a light flashed right in front of him. He covered his eyes, but the flash only lasted for about 2 seconds. He uncovered his eyes and his heart skipped several beats.
Oh my god... they're here... right in front of me, the mane 6, this has to be the best dream ever. he thought to himself.
He leaned in to see if they were real or not, until one of them moaned "uhh, that inter dimensional spell really gives you kick." said the purple pony.
"umm... Twilight darling, are we in a house?" said the white pony with a purple mane. Twilight looked around and nodded, until she saw Tyler.
Tyler stood there shocked and then came out of his trance and just bowed saying very excitedly "It is a great pleasure having you all here, especially you princess Twilight"
They all looked at him in confusion, while he looked very happy. "um... sorry for asking, but how do you know about us, if you don't mind me asking." asked the yellow pony with a pink mane.
"Oh, well I guess I do have to answer, but I must introduce myself, my name is Tyler... Oh and you don't have to introduce yourselves." said Tyler. "Nonsense, even if you do know us we must introduce ourselves to anyone new." said Twilight
"As you already said, i'm princess Twilight Sparkle, these are my friends." she said with a big grin.
"MYNAMEISPINKIEBUTYOUCANCALLMEPINKIEIMAKEGREATCUPCAKESAND..." said Pink pony with a pink mane continuing talking, but muffled when Twilight put her hoof over her mouth.
"I... i'm Fluttershy" said the yellow pony with a pink mane backing up a little.
"My name is Rarity darling." said the white pony with purple mane.
"My name is Rainbow Dash, fastest flyer in all of Equestria." said the sky blue with a rainbow mane.
"...And m'ah name's Applejack sugarcube." said the orange pony with a blonde mane.
"OK now that introductions are out of the way, you can tell us how you know about us." said Twilight
"I guess it is alot easier to show you, follow me to my computer." said Tyler
"Your what?" they all said simultaneously
Tyler looked at them with a smile and said "This is gonna be a long night..."
I showed the show off of my laptop and I saw how they were in a trance of confusion and shock of how they were watched, fluttershy mentioned how rude it is to watch other people, like I didn't expect that to come up.
I laughed a little and said that I had to go somewhere for a little while. "WHEREAREYOUGOINGCANWECOMEWITHYOUAREYOUONADAREORASECRETMISSION! Pinkie yelled with excitement.
"Umm... I'm just going to be with some friends and before you say anything about what time it is, yes we meet up at midnight once and a while" I said as the looked at me with a concerned look.
Before they could say anything, I grabbed a black jacket and hid some spray cans in my jacket pockets "See you guys later and you are welcome for me letting stay and let your energy recharge Twi."
"Well, time to get to work" I said to myself while taking out a spray can from my pocket. As I turned around I saw pinkie standing there. As everyone would react, I was very confused and instead of asking how she did it I simply asked "Why are you out here, we can't let you get seen"
Pinkie just smiled and asked "What is with the spray cans?"
I was afraid to tell her the truth and just said "I like to spray paint on my friends faces when they fall asleep" Pretending to grin innocently Pinkie smiled and hopped inside saying something this time slowly "When you get home, I'm going to throw you a party, so come back soon" When she hopped inside I already saw the entire party ready for me when I come home.
I walked up to the first building that I thought should be tagged, I got the different cans of paint out and spray painted my last name in a gangster junky way. I felt proud of myself for doing this but that ended when I heard a voice saying my name. I turned around to see that the 6 followed me with most of which were angry faces.
"TYLER THAT IS ILEGAL, EVEN I KNOW THAT, YOU ARE BEING DISGRACEFUL!" said Twilight yelling at me. I tried to explain in the most simple way possible, but most of it was me gagging on my own breath.
"Wh-why are doing this, i-if you don't mind me asking." said fluttershy. I sighed and told them how I started after my parents kicked me out and how they were not happy with me living there, I kept them dying to myself.
It has been 2 days since they found out that I paint graffiti on buildings, but pinkie still threw me the party, though Twilight still didn't forgive me about it.
I soon got a text from my friends saying they are coming over in about 10 minutes. Of course I panicked, even though Keith is my best friend, he has big trouble keeping his mouth shut about things, especially secrets. I had no choice but to trust Keith with this one, hopefully.
Amazingly it was exactly 10 minutes when there was a knocking at my door, when was walking towards the door, I was thinking how it was good to have friends that like MLP as much as him, so he doesn't seem weird. I told the ponies to hide somewhere so that his friends can be a lot more surprised. I opened the door told them to get settled while I search for the ponies. Of course they hid in my room where no one expects anything from bedrooms, I thought to myself 'really sarcasm'
I told my friends to check out something in my room and especially the Martha was worried about what she was going to see. "Alright, brace yourselves and don't scream at the top of your lungs filled with excitement." I told my friends, they nodded.
When I opened the door, my friends stood there like there were statues put up in my room, they all got out of the trance and Keith booped Twilight on the nose, unamused she took her hoof and put Keith's hand to the ground. Like I told them not to, but they just screamed with excitement.
Just then I heard a weird noise, thinking that something was going to blow up, but it sounded different than anything he has heard. It sound like VVVRRMMMM VVVRRMMMM VVVRRMMMM BUDDUM. I was sitting there thinking 'oh you have got to be kidding me'
We all went to my front yard, where the noise came from, and found a blue box sitting there. "Oh god, this can't be happening." I said while the others were confused, apparently I was the only one that watches doctor who.
A pony with a chestnut coat and a brown mane came out of the box, badly injured like he was flung around everywhere. I wondered why he was still in his pony form, but that doesn't matter he either need medical help or he will regenerate.
He soon just felt better in a matter of minutes all running around looking at our hands saying how much he misses them and how he needs to know why he is here and why he is still a pony and other questions that I can't answer.
We all then noticed that fluttershy was still standing in front of the box staring at it with no expression, no scared, no excitement, no sadness, nothing just sitting there staring blankly at it. Everyone was worried about, even the chestnut pony did and he didn't know her, as everyone was about to call out for fluttershy, she started crying and jumped onto the chestnut pony saying "Doctor, do you know me or don't you?" She asked crying into the doctor's fur. "I'm afraid that I don't know who you are, why?" Asked the doctor. "We still have time before it happens and help, please." Fluttershy said crying but a little happy that the doctor didn't know her.
"Why do you want to know if he knows you, darling? Rarity asked. "...B-b-because he was one of my closest friends until he was affected by discords power, but for some reason didn't recover after we turned back into stone when we first saw discord." Said fluttershy. Good thing the doctor was lost in thought or that would have been a big time paradox. "Umm... Hey brown coat dude, who are you?" Asked rainbow dash. "The doctor broke out of his long thinking and said "oh... well I'm the doctor and before you ask no, not a doctor, THE doctor."
Later that night I was sitting on the couch and ironically watching doctor who. Though I was not really watching it, I was too deep in thought even if Twilight did tap on my shoulder a couple of times. Until she literally yelled in my ears, I jumped off the couch and asked "WHAT?!"
"I found a spell where all 7 of us ponies can look like humans and yes I can turn the spell on and off." Said Twilight
"Well that is great to hear and that means I'm going to have to go clothes shopping, the doctor can measure you so I can tell which kind of clothes to get you." I said noticing that I'm very tired, so I turned off the tv and went straight to bed and the doctor was sleeping on the floor in front of my bed, I just shrugged and went to sleep and thought to myself 'what kind of person has to go through all of this?'
