Tragdy of Mare-do-well

It was a summers day in ponyville, the sun was shining and the air was damp but cool. Applejack was trotting into ponyville after a hard day of working at the Apple farms. She was sweating and wanted a drink. The sun beamed down on the little town of ponyville. Ponies were getting frustuated with the heat. Some, cooked eggs on the ground. “It’s ah’ hot day today…ah’m getting really thirsty” Applejack entered the town and heading to sugar cube corner. There. She saw four out of five of her friends dissucing about something really important. Applejack trotted to her best friends and taking a seat next to Twilight. “Oh, Applejack is here, Applejack, were getting worried about Rainbowdash, after the Mare-do-well inccendent…we didn’t see her for days” Tears was starting to form in Twilights eyes as she spoke up again “ Im worried about her…I left a note on her front porch…I think she didn’t see it..im getting worr-“ Then they heard the door opening.

It was Rainbowdash, but something was up with her. She doesn’t normally wear a black coat, her fur and mane was damp and her eyes where darker instead of a bright red.”Rainbowdash are you okay?” Pinkiepie asked. Rainbowdash only looked at them, knowing what they have done.But she continued on to the conter “I got ten bits left…make the biggest batch of cupcakes you got….just make sure they ain’t made from Pinkiepie…” Rainbowdash said angrly. Rainbowdash sat down at a different table away from the rest of the group. “Has anypony talked to her lately?” Applejack asked. “Well, I talked to her last night” Fluttershy said, she started to stroke her tail with shyness. Rarity said “Dear, please tell us what she said” Fluttershy looked up with sadness. Fluttershy sniffed as she continued on.” Well, she said, that, she was gonna make things better for the rest of Ponyville. Including us” Fluttershy started to cry soflty in her tail. Rarity, patted her on the back as Fluttershy cried.

25 minutes has passed and Rainbowdash heard her name getting called out by mr.Cake. “Here you go Rainbowdash, Pinkiepie wants to talk to you ya’know” Mr.cake said has he handed the cupcakes to Rainbowdash. “Thanks for the cupcakes, but no, I don’t want to talk to Pinkie pie at the moment” Rainbowdash said.Rainbowdash walked out of the shop with the cupcakes on her back. “Ah’ don’t think Rainbowdash ain’t wanna be our friends anymore” Applejack said sadly as she turned her head to Twilight. “Non-sense Applejack, Rainbowdash is the elements of loyalty, she would never leave us behind..never” Applejack looked back to see Rainbowdash is gone. She sighed and the said with a bit of hope “Well ah’ guess ah’ right, She is the element of loyalty! UInlike she’s gonna leave us behin’”

Rainbowdash entered her home, putting the cupcakes in her kitchen. She’d then walked up stairs into the shower. She shut the door and then took of the coat. Her for hooves are covered in cuts, many, many cuts. She didn’t shower in days in fact, maybe a week, Rainbowdash lost track of time in her isolation. She then slowly turned on the cold water. The coolnest of the water touched her face and dribbled down her neck, onto the floor below. Rainbowdash has memories playing inside her head. About the mare-do-well accident of course. “Pinkiepie?” “We were mare-do-well” “If I were you I’d be making a friendship report…..” Rainbowdash then put up a sinister grin on her face.

The next day, then weather was cool, everypony was relived. Twilight walked out on her front door to collect the paper. She opened her door, then used her magic to levitate the news paper inside. “Hmm, new houses for sale……Berry mix goes to jail for acholeusege….Cutiemark crusaders plan to fly withought a machine….Hmmm…” Twilight grabbed her tea and started to sip on it. Twilight then heard a know on the door. She sighed as she walked to the door.” Hello how may I assist you?” Twilight asked, but saw Applejack with a happy smile on her face.”Rainbowdash asked me to come with ah! I can’t belive it!” Applejack said with glee. Twilight was shocked.Twilight then pondered for a moment… “Why would Rainbowdash ask you too come and the-“ Twilight was stopped by Applejack yelling “AH THINK SHE WANTS TAH BE MAH FRIEND AGAIN!” Applejack then ran to Rainbowdash’s place.”Ahm here Rainbowdash!” Applejack yelled. Hoping that Rainbow would hear. “Applejack? You’re here already?” Rainbowdash asked as she swooped down.”C’mon, we have work to do!” Rainbowdash smiled as Applejack smiled back. Rainbowdash turned and did a sinister smile.

Applejack followed Rainbowdash, Smile her way there.”Rainbow?” Apple jack question the other pony.”Yes my friend” Rainbowdash spoke, Applejack was gonna say something, but said it anyways “how long is it gonna take? Mah’ legs are getting sore” Applejack said as her legs were giving up. Rainbowdash giggle for a little. “Oh, we are almost there” Rainbowdash said. Applejack sighed and continued to walk.But. finnnaly, they made it.Thebuilding was far away from other buildings, it looked old, had a wicked fence around the place, It was mouldy and dark.”Rainbowdash? why ah’ we here?” Applejack question as they entered the building,Rainbow dash did not respond.They only got down into a celler.

The celler had chains hanging from the top, Giant fishing lines also dangled,all covered in blood.”R-Rainbowdash? What in the hay is going on here?” Apple jack then felt pain at the back of her head, she then was knocked out cold on the floor. “Im sorry Aj….But you owe me….” Rainbowdash dragged her friend to a table and latched her on.

Applejack slowly woke up, she felt drowsey, but she couldn’t talk, somehow, her throught felt like it was on fire.She looked straight in front her her to see somepony aprroching. She started to huff heavily, she didn’t know what was going on, she nor, didn’t want to find out.But she saw it was her friend, Rainbowdash, oh thank goodness, she was releved to find her here.Applejack opened her mouth to say words..but nothing camed out.”Applejack…let me fill in, I just lured you here, then I knock you out, then I pose as you….like a big, secret!” Rainbowdash yelled. “WHY DID YOU POSE AS MARE-DO-WELL? HUH? TELL ME? WHY? DID YOU DO IT? DID YOU WANT TO BE BETTER THEN ME? OR DO YOU HATE ME?” Applejack was surprised at that sudden out burst. Rainbow, ahm sorry was what Applejack wanted to say.”But you just could’ve listened to spike…Tell me that I was taking it too far….” Rainbowdash then grabbed a bag full of medical tools. Applejack looked at her friend? Taking out the tools and thought Rainbow…you don’t have to do this….

Applejack started as Rainbowdash got closer to her. Applejack was scared, she could see the insanity in Rainbowdash's eyes. Applejack closed her eyes and wished for all of this to go away. "Time to make my own costume" Rainbowdash said as she cut around her hostage left hoof. Applejack, unable to scream, gritted her teeth, tears forming in her eyes once again. Rainbowdash grabbed the cutted skin and ripped it right off, showing under the skin, you could see her muscles. Rainbowdash did the same to the other hooves. Applejack felt like she was on fire, Rainbowdash laughed at Applejack's pain. "Think you could get rid of me? Rid of my personality? huh? IS THIS WHAT YOU WANTED!" Rainbowdash yelled, then continued to laugh again.

Rainbowdash looked at Applejack for a long time. Applejack finnaly felt no pain in her through and spoke up. "R-rainbowdash....ahm' sorry what iv'e done, ah' won't do it again, ah promise and ah' wont tell anypony" Applejack gave a smile, trying to stop her pain.Rainbowdash gave a frown. "No, your gonna tell everpony...i can't take that chance" Rainbowdash hissed and jabbed the knife in Applejack's throut. Applejack was slowly dying...she looked at Rainbowdash. "I felt like i was betrayed by everpony" Was the last words Applejack had heard. Applejack final words were "ah'm sorry"
