My Roommate, Fluttershy

I stood in front of Canterlot College. Here I am, the stop at education. Unless I need to go to pilot school, again. UGH! I really don't want to be there, or here. I just want to be home. But, here's my new home, I guess. I sighed. Oh, sorry, where are my manners? Don't tell my mother. I'm Rainbow Dash, soccer extraordinaire. Yes, I love soccer. Yes, I might be arrogant. Yes, I'm disgusting.

I went inside, swinging my dark blue duffle bags over my shoulders. "Ohmygoodness. Hiya, Rainbow." An Okie accent twanged. I recognized it instantly. "Hey, AJ. I missed ya in summer." I said, walking up to one of my best friends, Applejack. I walked into her arms and she hugged me tightly. "Ya goin' here, too." Applejack twanged again. God, she's adorable when she twangs her words.

"Yup, my 'rentals told me to come. Your excuse?"I said, crossing her arms and smirking. "My bro and Granny told me ta come." Just then, another voice twanged, her voice only higher than Applejack's "Hiya, RD." I jerked my head away from Applejack to see a red-headed, yellow girl, about 15, I think. "Hiya, Apple Bloom. Man, you grew." I commented. "So have you, RD." Apple Bloom said.

"Where ya headed?" Applejack said. I... really didn't know where. Just then, I was greeted by a pink, poofy -haired, cotton candy-smelling whirlwind I knew as Pinkie Pie. "Hiya, Dashie!" She practically crushed my bones in a hug and squeezed all the breath out of my body. "H...Hi.." I wheezed. Pinkie then let me go with a red blush, which looked like a shade of silver-white. I giggled.

"Hello, darling. I didn't think I'd see you here." a British tornado I knew as Rarity stormed towards us and wrapped her arms around my neck. I smiled. "Rares, good to see ya. I didn't think i'd see you, either." I actually didn't think i'd see her. I thought she would end up in a fashion university. If one existed. I'm not exactly sure if one existed, but if it did, she would be in it.

Where's your dorm room?" Applejack asked. I didn't know that either."Ah,Miss Dash. Here's your schedule." Someone came up behind me. I squealed and jumped up, but, I quickly recovered. I guess. I saw a woman I recognized with blue and indigo hair, dark cyan skin, and fat, indigo lips. "Vice Principal Luna?" I said. She nodded. "Good to see so many familiar faces." Vice Principal Luna said as she handed me a paper that had a lot of classes and a room number: 2B.

"I believe your roommate is already in your room." Vice Principle Luna said with her lip curled. I raised an eyebrow, but took my schedule anyway. I grabbed my duffel bags and started walking to my dorm room. When I knocked on the door, I didn't really take notice of the two names on the door when I did. I then opened the door to see... Oh shit!

Fluttershy!? Fluttershy!? FLUTTERSHY WAS MY ROOMMATE! HOLY SHIT! "Uh, Hi, D...Dashie..." Fluttershy whispered nervously. I shook my head. With my luck, she'll be afraid of her own shadow!I thought in my head. I wiped my face with the back of my hand and set my bags down next to a bed near a desk. Fluttershy smiled. I can tell she's trying to make an effort to make me feel better, so I met her halfway and smiled back, knowing it somehow reached my burgundy eyes. Jeesh, I suck.

I took in what she was wearing. She still had that annoyingly, brighter-than-Pinkie Pie PINKcolored hair. She had on a dark turquoise dress with pink butterflies on the right side and a three layered, poofy skirt. She also had a butterfly pin holding her bangs back that complimented her dark aqua green eyes. She also was wearing lavender stiletto boots with gold butterflies painted at the top and toe part. She was also wearing a flower bracelet the same color as her boots.

I guess it could have been worst. I could have had Pinkie Pie or Derpy Hooves. They're not bad people persay, They're just not ideal roommates. Pinkie Pie would probably keep me up all night, and Derpy is so clumsy that she might destroy all my stuff. Or worst, I could have had a complete stranger as my roommate. So, Fluttershy isn't such a bad deal. I'll make an effort to make the best of an, I guess, bad situation.

"Hi, Flutters." I chuckled awkwardly as I smiled through it. Fluttershy smiled warmly at me and took my bags from me. She set them on my new bed and grabbed my shoulders. She then hugged me and grabbed a brush from her pink butterfly patterned suitcase. She turned me around and started brushing my multicolored hair. "So..." Fluttershy said as she continued brushing my hair. "So..." I said awkwardly.

"What're your classes?" Fluttershy asked softly. I glanced at my schedule. "Uh, Greek History." I said absentmindedly."Oh, me too." Fluttershy said cheerfully as she took my schedule from my hands. I didn't know I was still holding it. "Ooh, we have all the same classes together." Fluttershy said cheerily. I turned to her, wincing as the brush tore out a few strands of hair. "Really?" I asked, hoping I didn't sound panicked. It seems I didn't as she nodded cheerfully. Oh, Fucking wonderful. Just Fucking lovely. I hope she'll be fine when we start learning about the Trojan War.

Oh well, I guess i'll make the best of it. If there's any way To do that. I just hope having me as a roommate isn't as bad for her as having her as a roommate is for me. Of course not, i'm awesome. Everyone loves me! Right? Oh, shit, i'm gonna get my ass kicked, aren't I? =(
