Dinky Doo has everything a little filly could need. She has her wonderful and devoted mother Derpy Hooves. She has her mommy's bestest friends in the world, Time Turner and Carrot Top, to help her mommy watch over her. She has a comfortable home, good friends at school, good grades, and all the muffins she could ever want. But she doesn't have a daddy. All she knows about her daddy is what her mommy told her - that he died before she was born.

Until one day, when she overhears her mother reveal the truth.

Determined to know who her very much alive father is, Dinky digs into her mother's room, and discovers clues that could lead her to her father. Teaming up with the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Dinky sets off on an adventure across Equestria to find her father once and for all!
