Stella Nova's life was as normal as it could be. Being the daughter of a princess and a royal guard, she has a much easier life than others. Despite being an only child, she was content with her family life.

However, this content feeling would be ripped away as the unexpected happens.

A mystery mare and an old foe thrust themselves into Stella's life, forcing her to decide. Her mind tells her to accept them, but her heart holds nothing but contempt. Despite how she feels, those around her force their expectations onto her, causing more confusion and turmoil.

How can one accept what's happened when this bond forces itself into one's life? How can one hate one's own flesh and blood?
