The lights from the foster home shone through the windows. The mom would be all over her case if she came in past ten so she climbed the gutter and slipped in through the window to her room. Even though she missed dinner she knew it would be best if she stayed in her room for the night. Not draw attention to herself.
She started her home work. Solving equations and memorizing history dates. Then her day went through her mind, it sucked.
" Hey blank flank why don't you go some where else." Diamond Tiara shouted. Then a rock hit her across the head. She fell to the ground her vision blurred from the impact the rock made on her skull.
" Buck you." She screamed as she tackled Tiara. Punching her again and again.
Cheerilee eventually got her off Tiara. Dragged her back to the school house, and yelled at her. It was all done before, it was just a repeat of last week and the one before that. Her foster parent would be called and she would yell at her. It didn't faze her anymore. She was use to tell yelling, screaming, the beatings.
Once her foster mother got there she told the teacher she would straighten Scootaloo out. Damn she must really be pissed. She could smell the cider on her foster moms breath. This meant things where not going to go over well when they got home. On the walk home she told her "mother" she needed to grab a homework assignment from Applebloom. Her foster mom looked at her funny and told her to scram and went home. She didn't really go over to Applebloom's or even Sweetie Bell's. They where both out of town with their big sisters. As for her big sister, well ever sense she joined the Wonder Bolts she saw a lot less of her everyday. This really hit Scootaloo hard because Rainbow Dash was the closest thing she had to a mother figure since her parents death. Scootaloo had other plans for the evening.
She heard of a colt on Maple ave. that sold stuff that made ponies feel good. Stuff that could numb the worst of pain. So she thought she would d...
*BANG BANG BANG*
Her foster mother banging on the door tore Scootaloo from her flash back. She jumped up and hid her needle and bag under the bed as the door burst open.
" You little bitch trying to skip out on your punishment." Her foster parent sneered as she threw a bottle at Scootaloo's head.
She ducked and the bottle exploded behind her. She only could look up for a second time before she was smacked hard across the face. She hit the ground and the pain brought tears to her eyes.
" Get up. I'm not done yet." She said right before she grabbed Scootaloo's mane and yanked her up. Then she drove her hoof into her abdomen.
Scootaloo started coughing as she grasped for a breath. Her care taker continued to kick the piss out of her until she was bored.
" Please stop." Was all that Scootaloo could say between the cries and desperate attempts to breath.
Her foster mother left the room and went downstairs and passed out on the sofa in a drunken stupor.
Scootaloo went to the bathroom to clean up her bloody face. Of all the beatings none had been this bad. After she was done she went back to her room. She fell on the bed and started bawling.
Then she remembered her stuff. She was hurting a lot right then, it would be a perfect time to try it out. As quick as she could she ran to the kitchen and grabbed a spoon and lighter.
She made her way back to her room and locked the door. No one, not even that bitch that calls herself mom would stop her. Scootaloo proceeded to follow the colts instructions. Take the brown stuff and put it on the spoon. Keep the lighter under it until it's a liquid, then suck it up with the needle. Flick needle and make sure there are no bubbles in the syringe.
She was ready. She tied a clothe around her forhoof until the vein was exposed. She lined up the needle and stabbed it into her system and injected.
The smack didn't take long to start working. It spread from head to hoof, the warmth. Everything seemed to fade away. The hurt, her school, Tiara, her foster mom, her friends, and even Rainbow Dash. All faded away replaced with warmth and bliss.
For the first time in a long time she was happy. Nothing else mattered. Her whole life drifted away. Her heart slowed down more and more until it stopped altogether. Then Scootaloo felt no more.
