It was a relaxing time, just after raising the Sun, but before the business of the Day began. It allowed her a brief period of tranquility and relaxation. She was certain that without these daily respites, she would have gone insane long ago. She stopped and smelled a particularly vibrant rose. It's intense red hue standing against the whites and pinks of it's brethren, looking particularly fragrant. She continued her trek through the morning mist of her garden, observing the vibrant colors. "I must remember to give the Royal Gardener a raise," she said to herself. She walked towards the center of the garden, heading towards the Koi pond. She had made many important decisions at the peaceful site. The Koi pond was her favorite place to meditate, either for pleasure, or for important decisions. It had never steered her wrong before. As Celestia neared her spot, she became aware of odd noises originating from her destination, or at least near there. She stepped quietly, straining her ears trying to make sense of the sound. Sobbing. Somepony was crying near her. Strange, nopony was allowed in the Gardens save herself, and the maintenance staff. Perhaps it was a maid nursing a broken heart? It wouldn't be the first time her young maids, butlers and even Guardsponies had secluded themselves in the maze that was her castle to cry. She'd heard it all, debt, death of a loved one, the termination of a relationship. She always offered a shoulder to cry on for these troubled ponies. Still, who came out in the early morning to cry near the Koi Pond? She stepped closer, focusing on the crying. Suddenly, she realized, this wasn't the sound of a crying adult. This was a child. A young filly to be precise. "...uh, uh I want mommy and daddy..." she sniffled. "Daddy? Daddy why won't you save me?" she wept. "I don't know where I am..." This would not do. Celestia trotted at a quickened pace, ready to comfort the filly. How on earth had she gotten lost in the Gardens? She felt a spark of anger, Could she have been abandoned there? She was getting to the bottom of this. She could see the break in the rows of flowers, the Koi Pond visible through the stems and bushes. Finally, clearing the garden she gazed out into the small, artificial clearing and froze. There, near the pond, partially hidden in the morning mist and illuminated by sunbeams, was no filly. It was an odd creature. It sat upright, and had an elongated, straight torso. Delicate shoulders gave way to pudgy arms and hands, similar to the various apes that occupied the gardens, but different at the same time. Bald, too. The creature had absolutely no coat or body hair to speak of. Above the tiny shoulders was a neck, and large head. The creatures face was unlike anything Celestia had ever seen before. It was totally flat, no prognathism at all. A small, button nose and chin were the only parts of the creatures face to protrude in any way. On the top of it's head, it had long, golden blonde hair that fell down past the creatures shoulders. It had its arms up, and it's hands were balled into tiny fists that obscured it's eyes as it wept. On it's body was a small pink dress that covered it's body and pooled around her haunches, hiding it's lower body from view. Although, from the position the child was sitting, she could make out small, fleshy protrusion from the skirt of the dress. "*SNIFF*...mommy, daddy...*SNIFF**SNIFF*" The child cried. Celestia shook herself from her stupor. It didn't matter what this was, it was a child in need of care. This was no time to slip into her academic mode. Quietly, she trotted out to meet the creature. It seemed to be too busy crying to notice her approach. "Hello there, little one." Celestia greeted in a motherly tone. The little girl stiffened immediately, a gasp escaping her. She turned around rapidly, a look of hope on her countenance. But, seeing Celestia, she gave a fearful squeak and immediately jumped to her feet and put some distance between them. So, it is a biped. Celestia mused. Now that the little girl was standing, she could see two legs, revealed by the knee high dress. Looking down, she saw the same pudgy protrusions were sticking from the flat ends of her legs that she was standing on. Looking up to her face, she looked into the creatures strikingly blue eyes. "You don't need to be afraid of me, child. Can you tell me what's bothering you?" She prodded gently. The child looked up at Celestia with a mix of wonder and suspicion. "How about we start with your name, then?" "My name is Lily... Lily Valentine." The little girl looked up at Celestia, curiosity filling her. Interesting. It's as though she's never seen a pony before. Celestia gave Lily the biggest smile she could muster. "It's very nice to meet you, Lily Valentine. My name is Princess Celestia." She introduced herself. Lily seemed to gain a bit of confidence at her introduction and carefully approached her. She reached out and gently placed her hand on Celestia's leg. She ran her hand up and down, feeling the soft coat. "Are you really a pony?" Lily asked. Celestia looked down at the child with a smile. She lowered herself to her belly, looking the strange child in the eye. "Why, yes. I am a pony. May I ask what you are?" Celestia asked. The much more relaxed child experimentally inserted her hands into her waving mane and giggled. "I'm a Human Being!" She declared, as though it were the most obvious thing in the world. Months had gone by, and it was discovered that Lily was from another world. Celestia knew from the beginning that there was something strange about the girl, but hearing it was totally different. Magical resonance revealed that there was a tear in the space-time that comprised the Koi Pond, something had punched through the fabric of reality and had somehow brought along the tiny human child. Unfortunately, Universal Travel was something that was still far from the realm of possibility at Equestria's level of magic. Even if they could somehow travel outside their reality, there was no way of telling which universe she came from. They could accidentally send her to the wrong universe, perhaps one without life. Celestia's heart broke when she delivered the news to Lily. The poor child didn't want to believe it. She had locked herself in her room for a week, crying and screaming, wanting nothing more than to be returned to her family, but it was not to be. Even the allure of magic and other ponies was nothing to the homesick child. Things eventually got better, though. Children were nothing if not adaptable. Lily still cried on some nights, but she had overall gotten used to the new world. With nowhere to go, Celestia had taken it upon herself to provide for the child. She turned Lily's temporary bedroom into a permanent one, and hired personal tutors for her, to make sure that her education was not neglected. When she wasn't tutoring Twilight,or running her Court, she spent time with Lily, making sure she was happy and comfortable. Then she started getting sick. It came out of nowhere, but the child started suffering from fainting spells. Sometimes she would complain of dizziness, and she seemed to catch some virus every other week. One particularly bad case of Influenza, Lily was brought to the brink of death. Celestia sat at Lily's bedside. Her face was flushed, and her hear was sticky with sweat. Fluids were being fed into her body intravenously, and every so often she'd break into bouts of shivering. Her hoof gently stroked Lily's hand in a comforting gesture. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw Lily's doctor waving her over. Stepping up, she began to trot over to the Doctor, but Lily immediately grabbed onto her hoof. "Please don't leave me mommy!" Lily cried weakly. Celestia gave Lily a gentle smile. "Lily, it's me Celestia. Everything will be fine, okay?" "I know I'm still in Equestria, and my mommy is still on Earth. But...here, you're my mommy. Please don't leave me, mommy. I love you... Please..." Lily fell asleep. For a moment, Celestia couldn't move. Slowly, she leaned over Lily and whispered, "I love you too, Lily." She gently kissed her forehead. Slowly, she trotted over to the Doctor, not knowing what to expect. As it turned out, Lily's problem was easily solved. Her vegetarian diet wasn't providing enough nourishment, and as a result she was suffering from a weakened immune system and anemia. Celestia hired a Gryphon chef to be Lily's personal cook. A meat filled diet solved all her health problems. Soon after resolving Lily's problems, Celestia officially adopted Lily and named her Princess of Equestria. Remarkably, the Human girl assimilated well into her new role. She continued on with her education, advancing quickly and catching up to her close friend and Celestia's personal student, Twilight Sparkle. As intelligent as Lily was, there was one thing in which she could not compete in with ponies: Magic. Lily could not, nor would she ever be able to harness magic. Not without an outside power source, at least. It did not flow through her the way it did every other creature in their world, nor did she create any naturally. It was an art outside her reach. "Your Highness! Please come quick!" A unicorn maid cried. Celestia turned to look at the terrified maid. Behind her, Twilight ceased her magical training, lowering the steel weights to the ground slowly. "Calm yourself, my little pony. Now please, explain yourself slowly so that we may understand." Celestia gently ordered the flustered maid. "I fear that Princess Lily has been injured," she began. "When I entered her quarters to deliver her Chamomile tea, there was blood on her sheets and around her middle. I found it prudent to notify you immediately." "You did well, my little pony. I'll handle it from here." "I'm coming too!" cried Twilight. "Twilight---" "No, Princess! Lily is my friend. I need to be there for her. Even if I can't help, I just want her to know I'm there for her." she stated. "Very well," Celestia smiled down at her student. "Come along, then. We mustn't dawdle." Together they cantered down the halls of the palace, heading straight towards Lily's room. Finally reaching their destination, the pair slowly approached the door. Celestia pushed the door open as quietly as she could and together they entered the darkened room. It had been five years since Lily had ended up in Equestria, and it had also been five years since Lily was truly sick. Sure there was the occasional flu or infection, but nothing life threatening since they discovered her high protein diet. Lately, however, Lily had been complaining of cramps in her midsection. Quick check ups with the doctor revealed that her womb was swollen. Celestia didn't quite know what to make of the information, so she kept it between herself and the doctors. She didn't tell Lily anything at the time, not wanting to scare the poor girl. If she was going to terrify the child about losing vital organs, she was going to make sure they knew what was going on. They quietly approached Lily's bed, where the eleven-year-old slept peacefully. Looking down, they could see the blood that stained the sheets and Lily's panties. Gently reaching over, Twilight shook the sleeping Princess's shoulder. "Lily? Lily, wake up." A grunt was her only response. Lily rolled the other way, as if warding off the fiend who dared tried to rouse her from the comfort of her bed. This time, Celestia addressed her. "Lily, please wake up. We have something of great importance to discuss." There was silence for a few moments before finally, low grumbling was heard from beneath the pillow. "...whaouant...?" Twilight's face contorted in confusion. "What?" "...ugh. I said, 'Wat do you want?'" Lily repeated, sitting up in the bed. She gave a rather unladylike yawn. "Lily, my dear, how are you feeling?" Celestia gently probed. Lily looked at her mother in slight confusion. "I feel fine." Lily considered her words for a moment. "Actually, I feel pretty good. My tummy isn't hurting that much anymore." She looked down at herself, suddenly sensing something was out of place. Did she wet the bed? No, she was much too old for that. She lifted the sheet and looked down at herself, and saw blood. "Whoa!" She cried, immediately jumping out of the bed. She looked down her legs, which had dried blood flaking off them, and her panties were an uncomfortable combination of sticky and crusty. It took her a moment, but it dawned on her as to what had happened. She remembered her birth mother on earth talking about her lady parts bleeding. She looked up at Twilight and Celestia who both had worried looks, and gave them a sheepish smile. "I suppose I'm not such a little girl anymore, huh?" She said with a forced laugh. "Lily, do you know what's going on?" Asked Celestia. Slowly, the human girl nodded. "Well, in the simplest of terms, I am now capable of becoming a mother." //-------------------------------------------------------// The Request //-------------------------------------------------------// The Request This is a work of total fiction, made entirely for entertainment purposes. No money is gained from the production of this prose. The years crawled on by, and many changes befell the young Human Princess. As nopony had ever encountered the Human species, Celestia had no idea what to expect from her daughter. She had no idea what to think about her. It raised many questions, some that horrified her. How long was the human lifespan? Did she have much longer with her daughter, or would they be together for centuries? Celestia was no stranger to death, but she hoped to have about a century more with her daughter. She wasn't sure how she would take it if Lily died at thirty. Would the child develop abilities? It was a rather common occurrence in nature to provide females with natural defenses, both to protect themselves and to protect their young. If she did develop some ability or reflex, would she be able to teach Lily how to control it? Or was it something only another human could help her with? Luckily, the only changes seemed to be physical. Now twenty years old, Lily had shot up to be five-feet-eleven-inches tall. One inch taller than Celestia herself (not counting the horn). Not only that, but she seemed to have grown outward. Lily had become incredibly curvy, something that was not expected judging by her previously svelte build. Granted, that was her as a child, but voluptuous was never something they had anticipated. A primatologist theorized that humans must be a Primate species in a "perpetual heat," as the only time primate females had engorged teats and buttocks were during their heat cycle. Because lily had blossomed into a beautiful young woman, many Stallions had become enamored with the exotic princess. It seemed Lily was turning down a stallion once a week. Despite the countless suitors, Lily had never taken up any stallion on his request for courtship. Hell, if Lily showed interest in any males, they were always Minotaurs. Celestia had found dozens of Minotaur Fitness and various pornographic magazines hidden away in Lily's room. She was rather confused about Lily's attraction. She didn't have a problem with it. Lily was free to be with whomever she so chose. However, Lily was raised amongst ponies since her arrival. She went to school, lived with, played with, was raised by ponies. Her attraction to minotaurs, of all species, a species she had never personally interacted with, came as a surprise. This was something she was interested in getting to the bottom of. As she approached her daughters room, she found the door wide open and saw Lily and Twilight talking and laughing. She raised a hoof and knocked on the large wooden door, hoping to get their attention. Both girls turned to see Celestia standing in the doorway. "Mother? Are you not attending Day Court this day?" asked Lily. Twilight looked to her teacher with worry. "Is there something you need Princess?" Twilight gasped. "Did I forget to turn something in? Princess, I'm terribly sorry! I---" Twilight was cut off by Lily before she could begin one of her speeches. "Twilight, calm down. You must remember to relax and breathe. You will drive yourself to an early grave if you maintain this tension." "My daughter is right, Twilight," laughed the sun princess. "You are much too high strung." Mother and daughter shared a laugh at the lavender Unicorn's expense. "In regards to your earlier inquiries, Day Court is currently in recess. No, Twilight, you are not tardy, I am actually here because I would like to speak with you, Lily." Lily looked at her mother curiously. "In regards to what, exactly?" Celestia's eyes drifted over to Twilight. "This is regarding something rather personal, and I am unsure if you would appreciate me discussing it before Twilight, my daughter." Now, both Lily and Twilight's curiosities were piqued. "Mother, Twilight is my best friend. There are no secrets between us. I assure you, no matter how personal or embarrassing you may believe this to be for me, I have already discussed it with Twilight at some point or another." Celestia frowned, but did not challenge her daughter's words. She stepped towards the large bed that the two young ladies were sitting on, and summoned a pile of magazines between them. Twilight eeped in embarrassment when she realized what exactly was contained in the pile of magazines. Other than a slight blush of embarrassment, Lily's face betrayed no emotion. "Now I know where my magazines have been disappearing to," the Princess mumbled. "I want to make myself perfectly clear: You are not in trouble," stated the Solar Princess. "Nor do you have anything to be ashamed of. Sexual desires are perfectly natural to feel, especially young ladies such as yourselves. Everyone experiences these desires, male, female, Pony, Gryphon, Dragon...life seeks to create more life and in animals, such as ourselves, that method is quite pleasurable. It is a natural part of life." "What, exactly, is the problem then? If you understand my desires, why do we need to have this discussion?" Lily asked. "To be honest, I am curious about something, and I was hoping you would be willing to share." "Ask away, mother." "Are you sexually attracted to Minotaurs?" Celestia asked. "Rest assured, there is no issue here about who you desire, but you have never met any minotaurs, so I'm curious as to how you would come across these magazines." "No, I am not attracted to Minotaurs." Confessed Lily. Wait, what? That was...unexpected. "Lily---" "I am aware that this is Minotaur Porn, but the minotaurs themselves, I am not attracted to." "I don't understand..." said Twilight. "If you're not attracted to Minotaurs, why all the Minotaur porn?" "...they remind me of Men." "Men, as in...male Humans?" Asked Celestia. Lily nodded. "Human men and Minotaurs look the same between the waist and the neck. Broad shoulders, strong arms, pecs, abs, all of it. I remember some men back in the human world who looked like that. I...use the minotaurs to inspire fantasies of Human men whenever I feel...tense." "So, you fantasize about Humans and you use the Minotaurs for inspiration?" "I am not attracted to any of the natives on this planet. I've lived here for fourteen years, but ponies, dragons, zebras...I do not feel any romantic connection with anyone." Twilight wrapped a foreleg around her friend's shoulder, trying to provide whatever emotional support she could. Celestia however was stunned into silence. The entire time, she had always believed she could provide everything for her daughter, but this was one thing she could not provide. It was natural for the young human to desire a human male. Interspecies relationships may occur in Equestria, but Lily had spent the first six years of her life on Earth. All her girlhood fantasies of romance and marriage took place between her and a human male. Even fourteen years devoid of human contact did not lessen her desire. Celestia knew Lily had tried. One cannot force attraction, if Lily claimed that she felt nothing for Equestrians, then there was a very little chance of someone sweeping her off her feet. It would be difficult for her to settle down with a native if every one of her fantasies were dominated by humans. Even if she could somehow form a romantic bond with a native, children would be impossible. Magic was a powerful, mysterious force, but if Nature said no, the answer is no. No matter how much magic you put into it, if an egg can't be fertilized, it wouldn't take. Celestia stepped forward, to the edge of the large bed and wrapped a brilliant white wing around her daughter. "Forgive me my daughter," Celestia said. "All this time I believed I could give you everything you needed. But, i cannot give you what you desire most: humanity." "Mother, please." She protested. "You've given me everything I need. This is simply my own---" "No, my daughter. What you are feeling is perfectly natural. Millions of years of evolution have conditioned you to crave a mate of your own species. Even here, on a planet with multiple sapient species, inter-species relationships are highly uncommon." Celestia stated. "This desire of yours has only brought to light long buried feelings. At this time, you must feel most alone." Lily said nothing and returned her mother's comforting embrace. She didn't want to show it, but her mother was right. Lily nursed her glass of wine, watching the celebrating ponies in Ponyville's main square, just in front of the Mayor's office. As it turned out, Twilight was correct in her assumption that Nightmare Moon's return was nigh. Even more surprising was that Nightmare Moon, minutes of her release, managed to sequester Celestia before anyone could stop her. Lily was ignored by the dark mare, and was immediately taken into protective custody as the Royal Guard did their best to take control of the situation. She was locked away in the Golden Oaks Library for four hours before everything returned to normal. It was a bit of a shocker to hear that Twilight and her five new friends, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy and Rarity, managed to utilize the Elements of Harmony to purify Nightmare Moon, turning her back into Princess Luna, Celestia's sister and her Aunt. It was a momentous occasion, one that saw the Diarchy of Equestria restored. Pinkie Pie would not let such an opportunity for the Grandaddy of all parties slip through her hooves. Now, the party of the century was taking place in the small town of Ponyville. Lily took a sip of her red wine. "Good afternoon, Princess Lily," greeted a suave voice to her right. Looking down, she saw a charcoal-gray Pegasus stallion. He had an athletic build, and his coat was complimented by a white and electric blue mane and tail. He had a confident look on his face, not at all intimidated by the fact this was not only a princess, but Princess Celestia's daughter. Lily knew immediately what he wanted. Well, he's handsome enough I suppose... Lily thought to herself. "It truly is. For the first time in a millenia, my mother has her sister back by her side, I am most happy for her," she said. And she was. She really was happy for her mother. "You seem rather distracted, your highness," he began. "I've lived in Ponyville for most of my life, is there anything I could do to make your stay here more pleasurable?" Lily turned, and regarded the bold stallion with an amused eye. She gave him a knowing smile. "Perhaps," she said. "You seem to have me at a disadvantage, good stallion. May I have the name of my handsome host?" She said in a husky voice. The stallion gave her a confident smirk. "My name is Thunderlane, your highness." She hummed. "A strong name for a strong stallion." She ran her hand down his mane and rested it on his back. "Lead the way." Thunderlane led the exotic princess away from the town proper and into the residential district. It wasn't a long walk, five minutes at most, but it seemed like an eternity to Lily. She needed this. She was never going to see another human again. She had to get used to the idea that she was well and truly an Equestrian now, and she would likely marry a Stallion. It's all in your head, she chastised herself. It'll be a wonderful experience. Regardless of her attempts to convince herself otherwise, deep down she didn't want a pony. "Are you ready?" Thunderlane's voice shook her from her reverie. Looking around, she saw she was in a comfortable looking bedroom. She was rather surprised a bachelor could have such an eye for interior design. No, "Yes," she said. She backed herself towards the bed before finally sitting down, Thunderlane followed her and rose up onto his rear hooves. He planted his fore-hooves on the bed, on either side of her thighs and leaned in for a kiss. Lily met him halfway and pressed her lips to his. It was...odd. Lily wrapped her arms around Thunderlane and pulled him closer to her. She could feel the soft coat of fur between her fingers and against her arm, which was unsettling. She pushed away all those feelings and attempted to deepen the kiss. Thunderlane wrapped his forelegs around Lily's shoulders and tentatively pressed his tongue to her lips, begging for entry. Lily, already trembling forced herself to continue and allowed him entry. Then she pushed him away. "Are you okay," asked Thunderlane, but his voice barely registered. Lily was hyperventilating, doing her best to keep the vomit down. Oh Gods, that was disgusting! The whole experience was disturbing, and nauseating. When his tongue entered her mouth, it filled it almost completely, it writhed and squirmed like long, slimy eel. No more! No more ponies, zebras, minotaurs, or whatever else inhabits these lands! Lily resolved. "I m sorry, but I must go." "But why? Did I do something wrong?" Thunderlane was panicking now, no doubt afraid the crown would have his head for harming the princess. "It is nothing you have done, my little pony. The problem lies within me. I am sorry for leading you on, but I must go now." Without another word, Lily was gone. Twilight stepped out of the bathroom in City Hall. The party was as raging as ever, and she was excited to get back out there. However, before exiting the building, she found herself pulled into an empty office. "Hey! What's the big---Lily?" Indeed, Lily was the one who dragged her into the office. She didn't look like her normal, official self. Right now Lily looked very distraught. "Lily, what's wrong? Do you need help?" "Yes, Twilight, I do." Sensing her urgency, Twilight nodded her head, urging Lily to continue. "Twilight, I need you to do something for me, something big. Something that you must not share with anyone else, unless I expressly permit you to do so. Do you understand?" Twilight nodded, both intrigued and terrified. "Apparently you don't. I said: do you understand?" "Yes, Lily, I understand completely. I swear that I won't tell anyone unless you and I both agree on it beforehoof." This time, Lily nodded. "Good, because Twilight, you are getting me a Man."
