Immortality is something considered to be a gift and blessing, throughout the universe, those rare few who possess it are often praised as Gods or some other powerful creature by lower civilations, showered with gifts and worship, sometimes for centuries before they finally move on. Higher species consider them to be self-absorbed idiots….

But in reality it's the only thing that keeps them in control.

An ancient being, known as The Watcher, knows this more than anyone, nobody knows where she came from or what she is exactly, but one thing about her is very clear: She is lonely… So very lonely. Legends say she has lived since before the first stars began to burn, and will live long after the last stars fizzle away into dust.
