Chapter One: Locked to the ground

My name is Valdahra Azreydon, for years I’ve wondered why beings fear me, why everything I do just makes everything worse. I’ve conquered planets and taken whole solar systems but these questions keep eating away at my mind. I’ve rained fire on dawning cities and completely annihilated defences.  I know the most complex battle strategies in the entire existence of space itself and have destroyed entire dimensions.

They called me a cruel monster, someone who never deserved to live. I would constantly observe the manner in which they spoke. They never said these words with anger nor fear but with confusion and the contained question of why?

Most of the races I encounter speak of friendship and happiness but where was friendship when I needed it most? Where was someone to cuddle up to when I was tortured by my parent’s death? Where was someone to help along my psychological torment?

There was no one and I was left to fend for myself. Learning that no matter who you trust they will never always be there for you. In the end you’ll be alone anyway.

Friendship is useless; anyone who needs a friend is just saddened by their own loneliness. Truly showing to others just how pathetic and weak they really are.

I will never attach myself to someone or something ever again.

In the cold hell and black void of space I sit and wait for my death. Fading and shattering from existence. I wait to finally watch as my suffering ends.

Previously I was defeated by the Archansoul blade which was at the time in the hands of a being named Tarandora Helix. He’s a dark creature made of shadows and in the shape of a humanoid type figure. How he got in possession of the blade, I have no idea. I didn’t stand a chance, all it took was for him to cut my soul with the blade and toss me into space to die.

The light of the stars began to fade as my vision blurred. “This is it my end if finally near” I thought to myself.

“Seems like you’re in a bit of a pickle here doesn’t it. Maybe I should lend you a hoof or in your case a hand.” A strange voice whispered in my head.

“Who is this psychotic moron?” I thought to myself.

“Aren’t you going to talk, Hmmmm…….. Well it seems you can’t in space can you.” He said with a small chuckle. “Here’s the deal kiddo, I’ll save your life but at the cost that you go to a land called Equestria Sound good, and from most of your silence I’ll just take that as a yes.” he said chuckling again.

A cacoon of light surrounded me and before long I blacked out.

When I awoke I saw what appeared to be a creature whose body parts were all different by terms of look altogether and two ponies that were corresponding with the creature.

I stood up and looked around. I was in a palace throne room from what I could tell. The floor was marble, it had giant windows with what appeared to be pictures of history or events on them, a stone balcony to the side and a long red carpet leading to the throne itself.

I turned around facing the direction of a massive door which seemed to be the exit if only there weren’t two guards standing in front of it.

I turned around yet again to look back at the conversation. They weren’t talking anymore and looked more like they were staring at me.

One of the two ponies approached me. Her coat an extremely dark purple and her main was a nice plain purple. She was smaller than the one she was standing next to but not by much.

“Hello strange being our name is Princess Luna, would thou care to tell us thy name?.” she said talking like she was two people or was that more like she sounded from a medieval age.

“You speak English, I’m amazed.” I said without even taking into consideration the question she asked.

“We do not speak English, we speak Equestrian.” She said with a confused expression.

I looked behind her to see the chaotic being laughing. “Is something funny psycho.” I said as too immediately put him into the conversation. He said nothing however he just continued laughing.

“What are thee, if thou may care to tell us” she said looking at my unusual body shape.

“I am an elite race of Archanian.” I looked at her in slight confusion before extending my hand out and saying “My name is Valdahra Azreydon.”

She didn’t move from her position as I did so. She just starred in Amazement at my hand but that may have just been the first time she had ever seen a humanoid hand before.

I stood still holding my hand out expecting a cheerful greeting from these being but all I got was. “What is this strange hoof thee has greeted us with.” She said looking up at my towering figure.

“It is called a hand. Why do you ask? Is something wrong?” I obviously had to ask these questions.

“Amazing.” She said holding my hand with her hooves as to examine it. “And what are these things attached to it” She said with even more excitement awaiting my response.

I rolled my eyes like I was talking to some idiot but I can’t really blame her if she’s never met a creature with hands before.

“These eight are called fingers and the big ones to the side are called thumbs.” I said pointing out each one for her.

“Thou must have a very strong grip.” She said probably hoping her observations were correct.

“Indeed.” Is all I said in response.

I looked back up to see if the other two behind Luna had finished finding amusement out of the conversation. Although the psychotic one as it appeared had already left the throne room and the other pony was approaching me.

“Hello my name is Princess Celestia. I am glad to meet you Valdahra.” She said seeming a little less calmer and excited as the smaller pony Luna.

“Charmed.” I said bluntly.

“Is thou hungry.” Luna said pointing the question at me.

“Depending on what there is to eat then maybe.” I said looking back at her with a Soulless face.

To me this conversation was getting awkward and frankly I can’t be bothered dealing with the stupid questions these ponies keep asking. Food, I only agreed to the subject so I could get myself out of questions.

“So would thou like to join us then.” she said smiling.

I was about to say something but then thought maybe they’d overreact then again who’s to say what It wasn’t a bad thing. Well might as well play along normally until the question comes up sooner or later. Maybe it won’t but that may be a good thing especially since these ponies would be vegetarians anyway.

Both the princesses escorted me to their dining area of which was stacked with food and it was only recent that the food was placed. The room was open and free with nothing but a window to the side and various candles around the table. The table itself wasn’t really wide but more to the point long well depending on which way you looked at it and I mean that quite literally. On the table was Cakes, biscuits and various deserts but they were more towards the middle. Around the outside of the table were salads and quite a variety of vegetables.

They sat at either end of the table from the table where as me I just sat in the middle. Now I wasn’t really complaining but the table to me was small and by that I mean short.

I saw Princess Luna smiling as she dug into the food, metaphorically speaking.  Celestia however was slightly picking at her food and well as for me I’m afraid to say, I only eat meat. I’ve heard of deserts and various foods but I’ve never actually eaten it and frankly I really don’t want to.

“Why aren’t you eating?” Celestia pointed out after staring at me for a long period of time.

“To put this through an easy term that will not disturb or frighten you. I do not eat anything that is currently on this table. I am more of a consumer of meat.” I was not directly facing her so maybe right now she either understands completely what I’m saying or she thinks I have ideas of eating her. Well it’s not to say she doesn’t look appetising.  But if I really want to get off this planet somehow then it’s safe to say I might have to keep my profile non-threat related.

I haven’t really tried to get off the planet yet so that might prove good but the energy from the atmosphere on this planet is very different and might react in the way that means everything is obliterated in an inferno of flames or it works perfectly and I’m free from this planet. Yet again this world so far is intriguing and it might prove useful to observe it more.  I won’t wait long though.

Celestia looked up at me and was holding the expression of a frightened and memorized look.

“You eat meat.” By the time she had pretty much yell these words her sister had already stopped eating. They’re looks both held with shock.

“Have thou had thoughts of eating us?” Luna said almost afraid to ask.

“Well it was only just then that I had thoughts on what you would taste like. However there wouldn’t be much point in gaining more enemies.” Yet again more silence and frightened faces maybe I should have just shut my mouth. I can’t believe their reacting to this conversation like it’s bad and I’m saying it like that due to the point that this world has to have creatures that eat meat. Other than that maybe they haven’t encountered an intelligent creature that actually eats meat. Now that I think about it I wonder if some of their species eats meat even if it’s only a little bit.

“Is there maybe another subject we could bring up?” Celestia immediately said.

I thought for a second considering what subject I could touch on especially if she was open to questions. I was going to ask if I could see the library they might have but then again they’re writing could be completely foreign to me.

Instead I said “Do you have any resting quarters.”

“Indeed we do but it’s only the middle of the day why would you want to rest now.” Confusion spread across celestia’s face.

“Let’s just say my morning has been very hectic and confusing to say the least.” I was hoping that when I said this question no more questions should arise.

“If you do so believe in taking or having a rest from what’s happened through the past hours then feel free to do so.” She smiled slightly, well if you could call it a smile. “Guards please escort our guest to the spare resting quarters.”

I stood up from the table and walked towards the door seeing the two guards waiting for me.

“This way please.” They both said in unison and trotting off as I follow closely behind.

They lead me at least half wave through this hell of a castle that should be referred to as a maze. I at least past the garden ten times over and looked out the exact same windows twice that amount. But no matter how many times I lapped around the castle at least I was finally able to rest for a while or at least clear my head.

“Here is your room.” They both said in unison again.

I walked through the door seeing upon a slight surprise a beautifully made bed, Colourful curtains containing colours even I don’t know, a book shelf, study and a balcony with a view of the castles city.

This is very interesting even if I must say at the very most. First time I’ve been surprised in a while actually and to be surprised from a well decorated and developed room.
