Where am I? Who am I?

Cloudstale, a city in the clouds. God damn it´s a story for little kids... I thought. But it was true. There is really a city in the clouds. I don't know how they built it there but it seems this country is more mysterious as I though first.

Steve Connor woke up at 7am. He took a shower. Lyra was already awake.

She asked, "Breakfast?"

Connor said, "Yes why not?"

Silent for a moment.

Lyra said, "Steve, sorry about yesterday ... I ... I wouldn't disturb you."

Steve said, "No, no it´s ok, I wasn't very fine to you yesterday too."

Lyra smiled, "Oh ok maybe you have ..."

Connor aborted her, "That means not that I want to go out with you!"

Lyra silenced.

Then she asked him, "What have you planned for today?"

Connor said, "I am a Pegasus pony I want to visit Cloudstale today."

Lyra asked him, "But you cant already fly?"

Connor went to his bag. I have some technical stuff with me. Before I arrived here I had a mission.

He dig in his bag.

Lyra asked him, "What is this stuff?"

Connor said, "Now you are right, I cant fly actually but I have a wing suit with me. Not a normal. With a normal one you jump from something high like a mountain and you try to land then. This one is a bit other I will jump from one of these mountains and try to fly to cloudstale."

Lyra looked at him, "Yes but with your human body, you cant land on a cloud. The most place is made by clouds."

Steve answered, "I try to land on something firm then I transform into my Pegasus."

Lyra said, "But be careful, the Wonderbolts are very fast. You cant escape from then, if they see you, you are maybe a dead man."

Steve said to her, "Lyra, I don't fly these things for my first time. I was an pilot. I flew jets and I did enough dangerous missions with these wing suits, trust me. All what you have to do is to be silent!"

Lyra said, "Hey I´ve heard there is a place, ... a place where nopony come back again."

Steve asked her, "What do you mean?"

Lyra said, I don't know but some Pegasus said there is ... a kind of factory ... everypony who tried to get there ... they are like fallen off the face of the earth."

Steve said to her, "Don't worry."

Lyra nodded with her head, "Good luck!"

Connor said, "Thanks I will be back at the evening maybe."

And he left Lyras house.

Later on an mountain:

I cant remember that New York City had mountains. I not even know if I am really in America. That's my job to find that out. But first I want to visit this city in the clouds.

Here I am. On a mountain. It was cold. I don't know how many metres I am above the ground but ok let´s go.

Steve Connor attracted his wing suit. Then his goggles and finally his respirator. He looked at his arm. He had an Data pad with it. He looked how many oxygen he needs until he arrived cloudstale.

Steve said to himself, "Ok ... 3, 2, 1, GO!"

He felt.

He felt...

He felt to get speed. Then he raised up. WUUUUHM!

*Flying*

It begans to rain. Lyra was right. They manipulate the weather. He looked at his data pad. 3 km above the ground but he needs 5 km to arrive it. His wing suit had a kind of jet propulsion, that's why he could fly higher and higher.

He was nervous. At his first time. He was never nervous. It was not because of the flying. No he wasn't sure if the Pegasus would notice him. If they really so fast as Lyra said, then he would have a big problem. Meanwhile he starts to believe everything.

Connor saw something flying. "Oh god, it´s really true. Flying ponies."

and they were really fast. Faster as him.

Connor spoke with himself, "I hope they won´t recognize me."

Then he had an idea, "Pegasus ponies can walk on clouds, that means it must be a wall if they try to fly through them, ok maybe I can hide inside them."

He started to hide in the clouds, "Ok I am save, but I have no idea where I have to fly now."

He looked at his Data pad. Something flash on it. An object. "I hope that means cloudstale and not the Wonderbolts."

One of them asked, "Can you see something?"

Another Pegasus said, "No, the weather is bad, maybe this Pegasus saw a ghost, we would see a strange creature like this."

A third one said, "Yea, lets move back, you know flying on this storm isn´t good."

Steve said, "CRAP! They noticed me."

He still hide in the cloud, he knew if they would found him they would dismantle him. Maybe he have a weapon, but these guys show as they are a kind of "air force".

Steve wait in the cloud.

One wonderbolt said, "Let´s look in the clouds!"

Steve said, "Oh no.."

Another wonderbolt said, "No man it´s to dangerous, it´s a thunderstorm!"

The Pegasus said, "Ok let´s move back." and they flew away.

Steve waited a moment, "Ok, I cant land on cloudstale, I have to find another way."

After flying 30 minutes he saw it. Cloudstale. It was ... amazing. But Connor haven't go the time to gape about Cloudstale. He needs to find a place where he can land without to be discovered.

Then he said, "Ah found something."

It was a small place at the edge of the town.

Connor smiled behind his mask, "PERFECT!"

He pulled out his parachute.

He slow down his speed. Finally he landed on a firm ground.

In Cloudstale one mare notice the flying creature, "AAAAAAH LOOK! There is it again."

But before the Wonderbolts could turn his head, Steve was disappeared.

One of the Wonderbolts said, "Calm down milady, everything is all right, we checked the space, there was nothing, it´s only the thunderstorm."

The pony said again, "But ... I ... I saw it ... it was ..."

One flyer said, "It´s ok, it´s ok. Everything is fine."

John landed, "Good I am safe."

He undress his wing suit and the other flying stuff.

He said, "I hide that here, no one will find that."

He looked around. It was ... it was amazing how these ponies could manipulate their habitat.

Steve looked at the ground. A cloud. "Ok let´s see..."

He felt nothing, of course he stepped through the cloud.

*BE A PEGASUS* he though.

He was a Pegasus again.

He looked at the cloud, "OK let´s see..."

He stepped on the cloud and ... he stood. He stood on the cloud. It worked. He couldn't belive that. He could walk on clouds. Man that was crazy. "OK enough gaped. Let´s move on."

He walked through Cloudstale. It was very big, and a bit cooler as on the ground. But Steve liked it. Pegasus everywhere. Some Earth and Unicorns where there too but mainly Pegasus of course.

Steve walked through this town. It was amazed. He never seen something like this before. Suddenly somepony knocked at his shoulder.

She asked, "Hey you, never seen you here before, are you new?"

Steve answered the pony male, Oh ... eeeeehm yes why?"

She said, "Cause never seen you before?"

Connor said, "Oh yes you .. already said that."

She introduce herself, "Hi my name is Spitfire, leader and teacher of the greatest wonderbolts."

Weird. She wear a suit. It looks like a bit like our fly uniforms.

Steve asked her, "Who are these guys...ponies?"

Spitfire was shocked, "You never heard about the Wonderbolts, the great wonderbolts?"

Steve shook his head, "I had an accident, I can´t remember anything sorry."

Spitfire looked at him and said, "Hey man, don't worry I know your memories will turn back, but ehm. ..."

Connor looked at her and said, "Yes I know I haven't got a Cutie Mark, I didn't find my special talent, why ever."

Spitfire looked at him, "Well you are a special pony. But hey if you need something..."

Connor said, "You are the first one!"

They walked a few meters.

Spitfire asked Steve, "Hey do you need a job?"

Steve said, "Ehm ... maybe?"

Spitfire said, "Maybe you can work in the Rainbow Factory, they made the nicest rainbow there."

Connor looked at her confused.

Spitfire said, "Hey come on you don't believe this myth about the Rainbow Factory?"

Connor asked her, "Which mystery?"

Spitfire declare him, "Well see some ponies believe, that the workers there make the rainbows with ponies, but this is bullshit, no pony would do that."

Steve looked at her, "Aha who claim that?"

Spitfire said, "At most ... the children, we don't know why but there are some colts and mares too who believe that.

Connor asked her, "Can you show me the Rainbow Factory?"

She answered, "Of course here we are."

Everything looked normal, Pegasus ponies who worked. "Unbelievable they create Rainbows?"

Spitfire said, "Yes because normal rainbows are boring, our rainbows are so colourful and its a sign for freedom."

Connor looked at her, "Aha, thank you."

Spitfire looked at him, "No problem, ok good luck maybe you have luck and you find a job. I have to go now, training you now, bye!"

Steve said, "Yea good bye."

Ok let´s see what this Rainbow Factory really is...
