Murder at Canterlot Castle
Part D (Ending 3)
Previous Chapter“As Princess Luna turned off the lights to the study, five of you dropped you weapons then one of you attempted to hit Princess Luna but missed. Princess Luna knew this, and acted as though they were dead in order to escape.
“Eeyup,” Big Mac answered.
“Well, while this was happening the cook was being murdered by the only other person in the entire castle,” Raven trailed off to lets the other think.
“Fleur!” The group said
“Exactly, she was listening into the conversation and while the lights were off in the study she went over to the kitchen and killed him with the axe in the kitchen.”
“Why was there an ax in the kitchen,” Cheerilee asked.
“In case of a fire,” Raven explained, “anyways when we went to the kitchen, Fleur went to the study when Princess Luna woke and she hit Luna on the head with the candlestick, burnt the evidence, and rejoined the group before any of us had noticed.”
“But what did Fleur have to gain from killing them,” Shining Armor asked.
“And why was she killed later,” Braeburn also asked.
“Well it’s because she was acting under orders from one of you.” Raven told them
“But how would the killer be able to tell Fleur to kill the other informers?” Mrs. Cake asked
“Simply, Fleur told the killer that there were informers and the killer made her kill the cook and Princess Luna. The killer did look at the informer list and knew that when the gray pony knock at the door.” She was stopped by a knock at the door.
“Whoever that is has to go away or they’ll get killed to.” Mrs. Cake said as she went over to the door and opened it to see a pony with a fedora and a large overcoat. . “Is anypony interested in joining the Canterlot Record Club.” he said.
“What? No.” Mrs. Cake said as he closed the door behind her.
“The killer he was an informer, but at this point Fleur was starting to no longer be part of it so the killer knew that they needed to be alone to avoid the other noticing so when Shining Armor suggesting splitting up the killer took this opportunity to kill the gray pony”, Raven started to move toward the killer, “and when Shining Armor got stuck in the passage the killer used this opportunity to kill the gray pony.” Raven was now in front of Cheerilee, “You murdered them all.”
“You have nothing to prove that.” Cheerilee said worryingly.
“Well, the dagger is missing so whoever has the dagger is the killer,” Raven said as Cheerilee pulled out the dagger and held Raven and knifepoint.
“Why would you have Fleur kill everyone and then kill her,” Mayor Mare asked.
“She had discovered my business scheme and wanted some of the money. I couldn’t keep that business alive if I was bribing Fleur and Spitfire so I stopped. I could risk the others revealing the secret so I had to kill them all, including Fleur.”
“But why go through all that trouble to keep a secret.” Braeburn asked.
“Like I said I needed money, so having discovered the secrets from this evening I can sell those for to the highest bidder.”
“Well, before that I suggest we put all the dead bodies in the cellar, leave one at a time, and pretend that nothing ever happened.” Raven suggested.
“Good idea, I’ll leave first,” Cheerilee said, but she was ambushed at the door by the authorities and the chief who was the pony in the fedora and overcoat.
“Alright we got her. Thanks for the call Raven.” The chief said to Raven. “The rest of you can leave and be home safely.”
All the ponies thank Raven as they left the castle and the authorities took Cheerilee away.
