Twilight traced the "P" with her other hoof when suddenly her ears perked to the sound of a light creak."
Twilight..." said a familiar voice.
The unicorn turned around and gasped.
Standing over her was psyche with a sickly sweet grim. "It's time to come back to me."
The unicorn let out a loud scream before the nightmare faded, leaving her sitting up in her bed, sweating profusely. Panting heavily and looking around her room, she sighed and laid back down before closing her eyes and crying softly.
After calming down a bit twilight slowly got up feeling the need for a shower bolth to rid her self of sweat and to help relax her mind from the horrible Nightmare.
The unicorn took a deep breath and sniffled before getting out of bed and slowly making her way towards the bathroom. When she got to the door, she pushed it open and entered, closing it behind her.
Looking around her neatly organized bathroom brought peace to the mares mind Intel she spotted her mane brush was out of its place sitting in front of her sink and not to the left of it.
Tilting her head, she trotted over to it and examined it. After looking around the room once more she pushed her brush back into its spot.
With a small sigh she turned her attention to she shower readying it and hanging a fresh towel on the shower doors handle before stepping in.
Once inside, she closed her eyes and tilted her head back, sighing contently before looking over at her hair brush again. After hesitating for a few moments in thought she closed her eyes once more, letting the relaxing feeling of the water wash over her.
Twilight didn't know how long padded as she left the warm steamy water wash away her Nightmare and soon she began washing herself when threw the steam she felt a shadow pads by the closed shower door.
Opening her eyes widely, she let out a gasp before quickly turning to look out into her bathroom.
Threw the thin fog over the class door nothing looked out of place, no odd shapes or colors.
Twi covered her eyes and looked away. "Stop..." she whimpered, wanting the hallucinations to go away.
Now unable to relax in the shower she quickly finished and opened the shower door to get her towel only to find it had fallen on the floor.
Letting out a light gasp, she quickly came to the conclusion that it could have simply fallen on its own. Using her magic, she levitated it up to her and began drying her forelegs first so she could step out.
Once she finished towel drying twilight cast a quick air spell to get any dampness out of her coat. Leaving the bathroom twilight headed downstairs thinking a cup of tea might help her calm down.
As she headed into the kitchen she made her way to the cabinet where she kept her teas. Opening the door, she pulled out a packet and then closed the door. Afterwards, she gassed over to the sink to fill up a kettle of water before sitting it on the stove to boil. Just as twilight set the pot down and took a few steps back there was a startling set of knocks at the door.
Flinching, she hesitated before turning and slowly leaving the room. Gulping, she stared at the door, hooves shaking. "Wh-Who's there?!" She called out, voice trembling and cracking.
"Quick Silver shipping. Got a Priority package delivery for A miss Twilight Sparkle, are you she?" Mare called with a sleepy yawn.
Twilight trotted towards the door and slowly opened it a crack. "Uh... A-A package for me?" She asked, still sounding nervous.
Standing in the moonlight was a red Pegasus with a black mane held up in a ponytail and ball cap as she held up a small package as well as a clipboard with a pen. "If your miss twilight sparkle. I'll need you to sign for it."
The mare stuck her head out, looking around before opening her door all the way. She levitated the pen to the paper and quickly signed. "Okay, I signed it," she said quickly, stepping back into her home before closing the door halfway.
The delivery mare smiled and passed the package threw the open door. "Thank you, and have a nice night." She called trotting away with a tip of her hat.
Twi forced a smile before pulling the package in and closing the door. After setting the package on the circular table in the center of the room. Circling it, she eyed it from every angle before using her magic to pull the wrapping off.
But just as she did the kettle gave a loud whistle making her nearly jump out of her skin with a squeak. Patting her chest to calm down She quickly ran into the kitchen and took the kettle off the stove. After pouring a cup and dropping in her tea packet she went back to the main room. Stepping up to the package, she looked it over as she took a small sip of her tea.
She sighed tasting her favorite brand of tea before she began unwrapping the package. Twilight interest was peaked when she found it was a book, then she read the title. After the mess was clean, she returned to the book and gulped audibly before shakily opening the cover to the first page. Where she found a sickly note with two simple words on it. *Study Up.*
Letting out a whimper she turned the page, knowing right away who sent it. Out of fright of the idea that Psyche may find out about this, she started to read with a heavy blush. "O-Oh, boy..."
The first chapter alone had twilights entire face ablaze with embarrassment. Reaching her bed twilight lazily cralled under her covers drifting off to sleep in moments.
