Equestria BC

It was a bright day in Trotland. If you were to take a breath,you would smell the sweet, strawberries that grew in the fields there. In the castle, down the red brick road, past the early market, and over a sparkling clean lake, Princess BlueRose stretched her periwinkle blue hooves out towards the bright sunlight. She opened up her violet eyes to see Celestia playing with her toys. Being only 14, she understood that urge to be up super early, so that you could get the most out of the day. To be honest, Celestia was normally up after BlueRose. At about 12:00. Wait! BlueRose jerked around as swift as a cheetah, and saw 12:00 on her clock. She was late! BlueRose leaped out of bed, like a fly getting away from a swatter, and dashed to the bathroom. Her long black hair, with  dark blue streaks in it, was tangled in knots, worse than a spider web! BlueRose dragged a brush threw it, making it shiny and gorgeous. Then she plopped her gold, Garnett and amethyst encrusted crown on her head and flew out of the bathroom. Before she could make it outside, her mother, Queen Solaris, stood there, like a hawk watching its prey.

"BlueRose, since you are a princess, AND my daughter, I expect you to be a responsible young mare and get up at a reasonable time. So that you may do your royal duties early and correctly."

BlueRose heard her mother and looked into her dark eyes staring down at her.

"Mum, I know. I just had a good dream and...woke up sorta late."

BlueRose swerved around the angry Solaris and strolled into the kitchen. BlueRose opened the glimmering fridge and pulled out last night's spaghetti. She stuffed some in her mouth and dashed out the huge doors of Trotland castle. The first chore on her list was to open up a grocery store. She stalked down the cobblestone backstreets of Carbon Circle. The new store would sell all kinds of groceries for fun fillies, courageous Colts, and all types of ponies. She stepped up to the cherry red ribbon, the scissors gripped by her magic. The scissors sliced effortlessly through the ribbon, and the ponies cheered their heads off. BlueRose was  this chore, so she glanced down at the long list, and saw that most of her daily chores had been done by her mum, while she slept in. There was only one last one to do. Get her father down from the mountains. She spread her long feathery wings out and glided up and up. Her father, King Galactica, rose and lowered the moon, oppisite of her mother. Finally she had landed on the crisp, snow capped mountain. Her father stood atop, raising the moon above the land of Equestria. BlueRose watched in amazment as it cast dark shadow over them. BlueRose saw that her Dad had it covered, so she took off towards her castle. She watched all the ponies climbing into their beds, and falling asleep. When she arrived at the castle, Her mother was pacing again. "BlueRose. Now that your 14, I think your old enough to understand that sense Trotland does not have a school. Your father and I are going to send you to Canterlot. There is a good high school there called Wonder High that we want you to attend as a student to." Solaris told the  princess. "Mum, I do want to go to school. But all the way in Canterlot? I might not see you again!" BlueRose decided that if she was going to get a jumpstart on life, she would have to get an education and make new friends. So her mother kissed her goodnight and ordered a Trotland ship. But BlueRose insisted to fly there. In bed, BlueRose knew there might be challenges she would have to face when her mother was not there with her. With a calm, wind and the aroma of pinewood and fruit, BlueRose fell fast asleep.

The sweet strawberry fragrance left her nose as she flew deeper into the baby blue sky. Canterlot was close, about 3 miles away. BlueRose knew she would miss Trotland greatly, and her dear mum. So when she landed atop of a house, she looked sadly back at her home and her parents.

"Hello! Yeah uh, your kinda standing on a uh... house."

BlueRose turned her head swiftly and saw a handsome young stallion staring at her with big blue eyes. He was obviously a unicorn with a light brown coat, and a chestnut mane.

"Hi."

BlueRose said landing on the ground in front of him.

"I'm new here, and I was just wondering if you'd show me around?"

The unicorn's eyes beamed at her with joy. BlueRose folded her long wings in and brushed up against him.

"Come. On then!"

BlueRose said happily. The unicorn's name had ended up being Dr.Whooves. BlueRose knew that Canterlot was a fairly new town, but he insisted on telling her. She felt happiness boiling in her heart, every time she talked to him. Dr.Whooves showed her the school, Wonder High. He went to the same classes with her. BlueRose was just melting down when she heard this. They could be friends for ever. But BlueRose felt something more then friends rising up in the horizon. Am I falling in love? BlueRose thought. She shook her head thoughtfully and turned around quickly to face him, her nose almost touching his.

"This has been nice, really it has, but I need to get some shut eye."

Dr.Whooves looked sad but he smiled and nodded.He walked away and BlueRose trotted in the oppisite direction. I'm glad thats over! BlueRose thought to herself. But to be honest, she could have stayed talking with him for years.

BlueRose levitated the dark silver key into the slot of a Canterlot home, which had the number she was assigned to. The kitchen, had a delicous fragerance coming from it. Cake? BlueRose slowly stepped into the dark kitchen...

" SUPRISE!"

A cream coloured pony with a turquoise mane popped out. Along with a grey pegasus with a purple-blue mane, a white and blue spotted pegasus with a blue mane, and Dr.Whooves, whom she adorded so.

" I, wow! You ponies did this for me?"

BlueRose was astonished. The grey colt piped up.

" I'm Second Tech, but you can call me Sec, or Second, What eve's."

The spotted mare, was admiring BlueRose's crown.

" I'm Cloud Spots, and I have to compliment you on your fashion choices dear!"

The pony who had surprised her's pupils shrunk down and crossed.

"I'm MoonCake! I love to laugh! I also have many assorted weapons!"

She said.

"A-a-a-a- assorted weapons"?

"Uhhhhh... nothing!"

BlueRose had some cake and talked to her knew friends. Dr.Whooves Stayed by her side the whole time, which she couldn't cope with without smiling hugely. He simply would smile at her adoringly and then go back to messing with his trinket, which made an awful ding sound. After the fun party, BlueRose said goodbye and climbed into her bed. She thought of Trotland and her parents and tears welled up in her eyes. But she simply blinked them away. Sleeping was a difficulty for her. For she was extremely uncomfortable without her usual royal bed. So BlueRose drank some dank water( all she had at the moment) and fell sound asleep, dreaming of her home back, across the emerald green fields, through the aroma of sweet strawberries, and in her mothers arms, snoozing soundly.

The Wonder High application was long, a leopards tail flipping over a rock. BlueRose almost fell asleep as she read through the list of rules. It was a Sunday, and tomorrow would be her first day of school. At least MoonCake, Second, Cloud Spots and Dr.Whooves would be attending there. She was especially happy about Dr.Whooves going to this school. BlueRose had previously been to school, for Canterlot Junior High. It was not the funnest thing in Equestria, but learning was pretty neat. Her purple ink spread nicely onto the fresh parchment, as she signed up for ECA(Extra Curricular Activities). She signed up for, advanced science class(ASC) Calculus, Junior Center for Disease Control(JCDC) and others that caught her watchful eyes. It wasn't long before she got a call from Cloud Spots.

" Hey Blue! Do you wanna go shopping with us? Were gonna go last minute school shopping!"

   BlueRose told her friend yes, for she was tired of writing the paper. So she popped her shining crown and and galloped outside. Standing in her driveway were her friends and a pony whom she didn't know. Her name was Atom. She was a white and purple unicorn with a minty green mane. They walked to the mall, MoonCake bouncing along. Dr.Whooves came over next to BlueRose and rubbed his head against hers. Oh my gosh! I don't- I-I-I.....BlueRose was left speechless. Dr.Whooves blushed till he was as red as a cherry.

"Hey BlueRose, I'll call you Rose, and you can call me The Doctor. You-You know, if you want."

   BlueRose blushed as well and accepted the nickname " Rose". BlueRose scooted next to Cloud Spots who was staring at Second.

"Cloud! I can tell when somepony likes somepony!"

   Cloud's cheeks  flushed out of colour and she glared at BlueRose.

"So can I BlueRose"

   Cloud said raising her eyebrows at Dr.Whooves and tapping his shoulder. BlueRose didn't understand, but then knew that Cloud knew her little secret. BlueRose pulled Cloud back.

" You keep mine a secret, I keep yours!"

   She whispered. Cloud nodded and smiled cheerfully. Atom, who's last name was Smash, was really into potions and scootering. They had finally arrived, and the mall was booming with ponies! BlueRose was pretty much prepared but she had no idea what to get for Wonder High attendance. She watched as her friends collected quills, pencils, parchment, backpacks, locker set-up, and how-to books and all kinds of study books. So BlueRose pretty much was a follower that day. She had picked up her supplies so it was time to get ready for school. On the way back, a greatly odd conversation was brought up by Second.

"Hey guys, I don't wanna sound weird, but... anypony thinking about foals?"

   Everypony stared at Second with a stupified look.

"No. What I mean is like, babysitting and stuff. Or, I guess you guys thought I meant taking on the responsibility of foals of your own?"

   BlueRose looked around nervously and MoonCake grinned awkwardly. Cloud simply didn't care. So they kept on walking to BlueRose's house and they all went inside. Dr.Whooves Kind of just hung back in a corner fiddling with his "Sonic Screwdriver". BlueRose would watch him actively and he would sometimes look up and grin lovingly into her eyes. They all prepared for school, and before long, the ponies had to go home and get some sleep before the big day. BlueRose said her goodby's and when she turned to shut the door, Dr.Whooves was standing there. She was absoulutly terrified, but in a way that he was angry at her.

"BlueRose, I want you to know something. Te amo AzulRosa"

   Then he left. BlueRose didn't know what that meant, but she didn't know spanish either. So she went to bed thinking. WAIT! She had spnish lesson books! She raced into the bookroom and looked up what he had said. Te amo AzulRosa. She found what it meant. And what it meant almost made her pass out.   "I love you BlueRose".

Princess BlueRose slipped through the crowded halls of Wonder High. There was talking and screaming, all kinds of horror. Finally she saw her friends in a small group by some wolf grey lockers. "This place is simply awful!" Cloud said to the ponies around her. they all nodded in agreement. BlueRose flew over next to MoonCake. "Hey ponies! I brought you all gemstone necklaces. It might be the last of my stock, but it's not as important as my friends." MoonCake licked it and snapped it on around her neck. "That was very generous of you Blue, thank you!" Atom commented afterwards. "MoonCake, I saw that you are having a party at your house?" " Oh! Yeah, you guys can come. Just don't go into the closet in my attic." Everypony stared at her with huge pupils. Second's eyes sparkled with adventure. The bell rang and it was time for class. "You two have biology, and then we'll all meet for lunch!" Atom said, pointing to BlueRose and Dr.Whooves. "Biology? Uh... I don't really need biology?" Dr.Whooves said nervously. But BlueRose shoved him towards the door. He resisted, but the Alicorn princess was much stronger then the unicorn. Biology was just starting. "Now today class, we will be talking about the anatomy of a pony. There are many organs, muscles, bones, and tissue types in our bodies..." and so class continued.

After awhile, biology ended and BlueRose walked towards the cafeteria with Dr.Whooves. "So, I guess you don't think I have Spanish books eh?" BlueRose asked knowingly. Dr.Whooves immediately blushed and smoothed his hair back. "I-I-I guess I wasn't feeling right. That meant nothing, Rose. I mean BlueRose. I mean-" BlueRose stopped him. "It meant something for me." The cafeteria was just ahead. She saw Cloud Spots standing by the entry with Second. BlueRose smiled mischeviously and sat down next to Dr.Whooves at a table. He pulled out a single spoon and chewed on it. BlueRose felt guilty that he didn't have anything to eat, so she comprimised. Shoving her portion of spaghetti towards the middle of them, Dr.Whooves looked at her oddly. "BlueRose I think you bumped this outward too far."  But BlueRose simply shook her head and let him eat it. At first the unicorn hesitated, but he eventually ate a few noodles and said he was full. He set his book down and it fell onto the hard germ-filled floor. At about the same time, BlueRose and Dr.Whooves set there hooves out to pick it up and met, touching each other, clearly. BlueRose was going to cry she was so embarrassed.But It wasn't long before a big buff pony came over and shoved Dr.Whooves in the head, so that his head was down on the table, under buff pony's hoof. BlueRose glared but she knew that she was no match for him. "Let him loose bub!" Everypony  turned and stared.

"Yeh thats right, let him loose, or I'll, I'll..." a light green pony with an emerald coloured mane was standing before the ponies, pushing on the bully. "What will you do runt?" The green coloured pony looked around and at the group of what looked like nerds and geeks, and decided to defend his own kind. "I'll punch yeh's in the mouth, you'll be bleeding like a dang ol'd pig!" Everypony stared at the green unicorn. The bully, simply snorted and stalked away angrily. The new unicorn was met with "Oh yeah!"s and "You rock!"s. "I'm Toxic Silicon. Or Tox for short. Whateve'a fits the mood." Atom couldn't help but notice that he was extremely intelligent. Tox pulled an inhaler out of his bag and breathed it in heavily. "I'm Atom Smash, This here's BlueRose, next to her is Dr.Whooves, and the three others on that side of the table are Cloud Spots, Second Tech, and MoonCake. "Well, I'm having a- um... uh, Friend, transfer here from a different school. He's told me many times before that he wasn't my friend, but we still talk." Cloud said quietly to Second, insuring him of something. BlueRose knew that that "friend" of Cloud's was much closer to her then she would say. They could possibly be cousins? No. But there is something else. After a long lunch full of talking and laughing, it was time to get back to class. So the ponies said their goodbyes and went to their seperate classes.
