chapter 1

The Everfree Forest. A forest that is homed to numerous species that are deadly and dangerous to the peaceful residents of Equestria.

There are however a few exceptions to this. One such as a young purple dragon that walked through the dark forest with confusion on his face. By the looks of him, he must have recently hatched as a small egg shell piece form his egg lay on his head like a hat. This dragon continued his wandering of the mysterious place in fright and confusion.

He had woken up in a nest that lied in a hollowed out tree with several egg shell pieces around him. He felt like he needed to find someone and ended up venturing outside where he was now feeling scared due to his surroundings. It also didn't help when he heard a strange cry in the darkness that sounded like it was getting closer to him.

He stopped his body as his ears could pick up a distant roar that seemed to get closer and closer to him. He could tell it wasn't friendly and began to go with the feel of his instincts and began to run away from the roar.

He ran as fast as his small legs could take him and could hear the roar getting closer and closer to him. He looked around his surroundings and saw an opening in a mountain not that far from him. He mustered up enough strength to run to the foot of the opening before letting his exhaustion from running and recently hatching take effect.

The young dragon could feel the ground beginning to shake as he heard the roar, but from behind him. He must have had a little bit of energy left as he was able to take a glance behind him and saw a strange creature that resembled a large cat with bat-like wings and a scorpion tail. The creature stared at him with hunger in its eyes and that was the last thing the young dragon would remember as he let his head rest on the ground.

The manticore stared at its prey as it was obviously too tired to run anymore. That just meant this would be easier. The large creature stalked closer and closer to the young drake as it brought its paw above its head.

“Masenko!” Exclaimed a voice as a beam of blue energy shot straight out of the cave and hit the paw of the manticore effectively stopping it and causing it to roar in pain. It turned to the cave and growled as a tall figure began to come out.

The figure was wearing a white karate gi with the sleeves ripped off at the shoulders. He also had a red headband that was wrapped around his head underneath his horn, a pair of red fighting gloves, and a black martial arts belt around his waist. (Ryu's clothing.) His skin was white and he had dark blue hair that had a light blue streak in it. He also had a similar looking tail coming out the back end of his gi.

The mysterious figure looked at the unconscious drake before turning to the angry manticore. “I understand you're trying to survive, but attacking a child like that is unforgivable.” replied the figure as he stood in front of the beast.

The manticore didn't like that it was being denied its prey and roared before sending its scorpion tail at the stranger. It's eyes widened in shock as the figure easily grabbed the tail and gave it a good tug, sending the creature towards him. The figure brought his left fist back before sending a punch to the manticore's nose, eliciting a loud roar of pain from the creature as the force behind the punch made the manticore pull its tail back and gave the figure the opportunity to get in close and deliver a knee blow to its stomach.

Shining Armor stood there as the manticore roared in pain before doing the right thing and running away. He turned to the unconscious drake and carefully picked him up before turning to his cave. “Guess I’ve got a guest for dinner.” replied the unicorn disappearing into the cave.

The young dragon soon began to stir and awoke to find himself in what appeared to be the cave he saw earlier. He looked down and saw he was underneath a soft, warm material that covered his small body. He soon looked around him to see numerous pieces of furniture and what appeared to be a kitchen. There was also an area that was large enough for a full grown dragon to rest in.

He soon turned his head and smelled a delicious aroma coming from the kitchen as a strange figure seemed to be using some silver objects. He noticed him and smiled at him before returning back to the food. “Looks like someone's awake.” replied the figure as he made sure the ingredients for the stew don't burn.

The young drake was still confused on how he got inside the cave to who this stranger was. He seemed nice and trusting, but he could feel as though this stranger also exerted an aura that showed how strong he was.

He was snapped out of his thoughts by seeing a plate put in front of him and a bowl full of delicious smelling stew filling his nose as he felt how hungry he truly was after hatching. He saw the stranger use some silver stick by dipping it in the bowl and bringing it to his mouth. He carefully grabbed the utensil and tried to mimic him, and was soon slurping up as much stew as his tongue could reach.

“Looks like someone likes the stew.” replied the figure who chuckled at seeing the young dragon liking his stew. He soon finished his own bowl and offered some more to the young drake, who eagerly held out of his bowl. He smiled and poured some more of the delicious stew into the dragon's bowl before getting a second helping himself.

Shining Armor patted his stomach before turning to the young dragon and smiled at seeing him full. “Glad to see you liked it. My name's Shining Armor. What's your name little fella?” asked Shining Armor.

The young dragon looked down as he felt tears in his eyes. “I don't have one. I woke up and couldn't find my mommy and daddy.” the young dragon soon began to cry as he finally let his sadness out.

Shining Armor brought the young dragon closer to him and let him cry on his shoulder. After a few minutes of crying, the young dragon wiped his eyes before looking at Shining Armor. The young unicorn felt bad for the young drake, and instantly, he felt like a light bulb go off in his head as he looked at the baby dragon.

“I think I’ve got an idea. Why don't you stay here? This way you can have a home, and I can teach you how to defend yourself.” suggested Shining Armor.

The young dragon let a huge smile on his face as he launched himself at Shining Armor in a hug with his small arms. Shining Armor smiled at the eagerness and set the small dragon down before cupping his chin with his gloved hand. “Now we just need to find the right name for ya.” replied Shining Armor trying to think of a good name.

The young drake looked around the cavern to see if he could see anything that would help, and soon spotted a large spike jutting from the floor. Spike. He turned to Shining Armor and said. “Spike.”

“Uh?” Shining Armor looked at the dragon to see he had a smile.

“My name is Spike.” replied the now identified Spike pointing his thumb to his chest.

Shining Armor smiled before patting the dragon on the head. “Spike it is then.” Shining Armor turned to the training hall with his new roommate close behind.

These new changes would forever change the world of Equestria.

chapter 2

“Haa!” a blue energy blast raced towards Shining Armor who sidestepped the blast before firing a yellow one back at his opponent. His opponent grinned before back flipping out of the way and crouched low in a ready stance.

Shining Armor smiled before standing back up and wiping some sweat off of his forehead. “Alright, I thinks that's enough for now.” Shining Armor and his opponent bowed to each other as they sat at the kitchen table to rest.

“I'm impressed with how far you've come, Spike.” replied Shining Armor to his student.

“Thank you, Shining Armor.” replied the now identified Spike who now stood nearly as tall as Shining Armor, and with a different look he attained through the years. He was now a teenage dragon with a similar build to Shining Armor from the years of training. He wore a vibrant red sleeved jacket with two long thin tails hanging from the back. Under it is a black shirt with three red belts. He wore a pair of black gloves with a red shell on the backs of the hands. He wore a black hakama and steel-toed red boots. (Ragna's outfit.) His tail could be seen to be longer with a sharp tip at the end.

“Spike, I’ve already told you before, just call me bro.” replied Shining Armor who had been trying to get Spike to see him as an older brother. It only made sense considering he had raised the young dragon since he was a child.

“Sorry, guess I’m just use to calling you by your real name.” replied Spike scratching his cheek in embarrassment.

Shining Armor shook his head and leaned back in the chair while holding his hands behind his and stared up at the ceiling. “Remember when I told you I had a sister?”

Spike pondered it before nodding. “Yeah, you told me that she loves knowledge. Why?”

Shining Armor sat in the chair correctly before looking at his student. “I'm asking because I fear she might be in danger.” replied Shining Armor shocking Spike.

“But Shining Armor, what makes you say that?” asked Spike to his mentor.

“Remember when I taught you to sense power levels? For the pass few years, I've been feeling an odd power in equestria. This power seems to be seeping over equestria at a slow rate, but it's still dangerous. I think my sister is in danger as I last saw her as the student to princess Celestia.” Shining Armor looked down at that statement.

“Well, you chose to live out here and get stronger Shining. I'm sure if you met your sister now, she'd understand.” replied Spike trying to cheer him up.

“I know, but if my choice caused her to get hurt, I wouldn't be able to forgive myself.” Shining Armor shook his head before looking up at Spike. “Say, how bout we see how that new move of your is coming.” suggested Spike's teacher getting up.

“Sounds good to me. I've been dying to try it out.” Spike followed Shining to the training room and both fighters took their stances.

Shining Armor grinned before disappearing and reappearing behind Spike and delivered an open palm strike that hit the dragon's back and sent him flying to the wall. Spike quickly turned his body around in the air and opened his mouth before shooting a mouth blast at Shining Armor. His teacher back-handed it away and saw Spike use his tail to launch him at him from the wall and dodged a right hook he tried to send.

Shining Armor used the momentum to grab Spike's fist with his right hand and grabbed under his arm with his left hand and sent Spike crashing into the wall behind him with the increased momentum.

He turned around and jumped over an energy blast from the blast and saw Spike appear in front of him. He crossed his arms as Spike blasted him into the wall with an energy blast at close up range.

Spike landed on his clawed feet and got into a ready stance as he already knew that attack didn't have enough power in it to keep him down. His cautiousness was proved correct as Shining Armor stepped out of the smoke cloud with a few scrapes.

Shining Armor was impressed with Spike's counterattack. It may have been just a few scrapes, but he was giving it his all. “Not bad Spike. Why don't we see how strong your attack is?” Shining Armor held his two hands together and to his side as a blue orb began to charge up.

“Sounds good to me.” Spike held his arms out but close to his body in a ready stance as he began to charge his energy. He brought two fingers from his right hand up to his forehead and began to charge his energy into the two points as small sparks of electricity wavered around his fingers.

They were both about to unleash their devastating attacks, but Shining Armor suddenly stood up while stopping his move. Spike was confused and saw his mentor turn towards the cave entrance. His face showed slight fear before it turned to anger. He turned to Spike. “Spike, I can sense a few power levels nearby. One of them is my sister.”

Spike was shocked and could indeed sense a few power levels converging on one smaller one. He looked and saw Shining Armor powered up and shot out of the cave. Spike followed his lead and powered up as well before following his mentor to help.

(Outside the cave)

A figure ran through the forest as they were being chased by three timberwolves that found them as a good prey. The figure kept up their running before tripping over a log and ended up landing in a spot where some sunlight snuck past the branches of the trees.

It was female as the light brown outfit they wore hugged their body and showed their curves. The outfit had a pink six pointed star on the right side. The left sleeve of the outfit had what appeared to be a badge of a unicorn. She had a light pink bandanna around her neck that seemed to compliment her lavender colored skin. She appeared to have short purple hair that had a pink stripe going through it. Her hair was slightly parted to let her horn out. She had a tail going out the backside of her outfit that had the same color scheme as her hair.

Twilight pushed herself up and felt the stinging sensation of her knee as she looked down and saw that it was hurt. She looked behind her to see the three timberwolves come closer, but slowly, as though they enjoyed watching their prey in pain.

“No, it can't end like this.” whispered Twilight in fear as she tried to crawl away.

The timberwolves were about to go in for the kill, but stopped as a blue energy blast hit near their paws. They turned their glowing green eyes and saw two tall figures standing there. The first was a white unicorn wearing a karate gi, while the other was a purple dragon with a red coat.

Shining Armor saw his sister stare in surprise and shot her a quick grin before turning to the three beasts. “Spike, you watch over Twilight. I'll take care of these three.” Shining Armor stood between his sister and the beasts as Spike walked over to Twilight.

Spike bent down and saw the wound on her knee. He reached into his coat and pulled out some gauze and some salve.

He looked up at the unicorn. “Don't worry. This might sting a little, but it should pass quickly.” Twilight nodded her head and watched as the dragon applied some of the salve to her injury before taking some of the medical gauze and wrapping it around her leg.

“Do you need some help?” asked Spike who wanted to make sure she was alright, but didn't want to give his mentor the wrong impression.

Twilight nodded her head and let Spike reach around her body and lifted her up to try and stand. The salve seemed to be doing its thing as she could barely feel the pain.

Both of them suddenly heard a loud explosion and turned to see a large crater with the three timberwolves all beaten up. Shining Armor stood over them with a dark look in his eyes.

“If you ever harm my sister again, I’ll end you.” Shining Armor held up an energy orb to emphasize his point. The timberwolves made the right choice and ran as fast as their injured bodies could take them.

Shining Armor turned to Spike and his sister, and was surprised to feel his sister crying into his gi, but soon wrapped his arms around her in a hug. He looked down and saw she was staring up at him before crying some more into his gi.

“It's alright Twilight, they're gone.” Shining Armor gently pulled her off as she began to calm down and wiped the tears from her eyes before giving him a smile.

Shining Armor turned to his student and gestured to Twilight. “Spike, this is my sister, Twilight Sparkle.”

Shining Armor turned to his sister before doing the same thing. “Twilight, this is my student, Spike.”

Twilight turned to Spike before bowing her head. “Thank you.”

Spike was surprised by the bowing but just smiled and waved it off. “It was nothing, just some basic first aid.”

Shining Armor just chuckled. “That's just her way of showing thanks. She use to do that all the time when we were little.”

Twilight turned to her brother with a pout that didn't help with her cheeks a light pink. “Says the one who left years ago.”

Shining Armor sighed before walking back to the cave. “It would make more sense if I explain it at home. Spike, could you make sure she doesn’t fall?”

“Sure.” Spike made sure to stay close enough encase Twilight fell, but not too close. He had heard Shining was protective of her, and he did not want to get his teacher mad at him.

When the three of them finally made it home, Twilight made sure to sit across from her brother as he gave the explanation.

“Twilight, I’m sorry. The reason I left years ago was because I wanted to hone my skills. And I know you would say I could have done that home, but I needed a place where I could be pushed to my limits. The Everfree Forest was the only place nearby. So I needed to train here and get strong. I know you're mad, but believe me, I just wanted to stay strong so I could protect you.” finished Shining Armor.

Twilight sighed as she looked down at her hands. “I know, but I just wanted to make sure you were alright. But I guess it's better that you moved out here. Things haven't been going so well in Equestria. The princesses have gone rogue.”

Shining Armor was confused and worried about what she was talking about. Twilight saw her brother's face and continued on with what she had to say. “It's true. For some reason, the two princesses began to act strange. They began to enact laws that limited peoples rights. Such as accusing people of betraying them, or sentencing people to the dungeons for small crimes. I don't know why, but princess Celestia acted like her old self before sending me off to search for something called the elements of harmony.”

Shining Armor held his chin as he let all the info sink in. if that were true, then his sister needed to find these elements, and fast. The reason why she would be here in the first place would be if the elements were near here. If that's the case, she would need some protection against the creatures of the forest.

“Alright, I know what we can do. Me and Spike will join you in your journey.” replied Shining Armor shocking Twilight and Spike. “If we go together in search of these elements, then Twilight will have the protection needed to safely find them.”

Twilight gave her brother a deadpan look before responding. “Shining Armor, I’m not a little girl anymore. I took martial arts, remember?”

“I know that, but it doesn't hurt to still have some company to help along the way though.” responded Shining Armor.

Twilight could tell her brother wouldn't change his mind so easily, so she just nodded with the idea.

“Alright, Spike, go get some provisions ready.” replied Shining Armor as he got up to help his student while his sister took it easy on her knee.

Twilight looked at her brother and Spike, and couldn't help but smile. For some reason, maybe this could work out after all.

What the two unicorns and dragon didn't know, was that 100 yards from the cave, was someone who had seen the whole thing.

One set of red eyes looked at the entrance and pressed the button on the device that was in front of their left eye. They waited and read the three readings from the life forms in the cave.

“Hmm, not bad. This I gonna be fun.” replied the figure as they disappeared into the darkness to wait for the right opportunity.

chapter 3

We find our three young heroes as they had finally gotten everything they would need for their journey.

“Are you sure we have everything?” asked Twilight pulling out a clipboard.

“Yeah Twiley, I’m positive.” replied Shining Armor. “She always does this.” Shining Armor whispered to Spike.

Spike just held in a chuckle as Twilight gave her brother an angry pout.

We now find them as they made their way through the Everfree Forest.

Spike stared around the familiar surroundings before they drifted Twilight who was holding a small device with a green screen on it. Seeing how no one was making small talk, he figured he should go ahead and start.

Spike walked over to Twilight and saw her tinkering with the small device. “So, is that suppose to help us?” asked Spike wondering if the tiny contraption could actually help them.

“Twilight turned to Spike and spoke with a confident smile. “Yep. This radar will help us find the elements much faster than just walking around in circles. I designed it myself.”

Spike was impressed. From what he saw, Shining Armor was focused more on brawn while his sister seemed to be more focused on brains.

Twilight saw Spike's impressed expression and already had a feeling that was coming. “I know, I know, it's shocking. Our patents were martial artists who were also great scientists. My brother was more into fighting then me. I mostly read in the library while he went off and fought numerous people.” Spike had to chuckle at the image.

Shining Armor probably would have said something in his defense, but he let it slide for the moment as it seemed Spike generally liked what his sister was talking about. In the past, he had to fight off numerous guys that tried to date her. If a guy even walked near Twilight he'd give them the most terrifying stare he had. Spike however was different. He had spent his entire life training with him, so it was nice to see him interact and laugh with someone who he had met.

Twilight was giggling as Spike was telling a funny story about her brother. “..and so he reached into the pantry, and forgot about the tall stack of dishes I put there. He looked like the tinman after it was over.” Spike seemed to enjoy it when Twilight laughed at one of the funniest moments he had with Shining Armor.

Shining Armor smiled at the two enjoying themselves, but suddenly felt a power level coming their way, and fast. Spike sensed it as well as they both stopped with Twilight wondering why.

Spike could sense power almost as good as Shining Armor, but was still learning how to master it. He could however tell that the power was coming faster and faster. From what he could tell, the power was going on a direct course to....Twilight!

Spike quickly pushed Twilight to the ground as a purple energy blast came racing towards them. Shining Armor kicked the blast into the air as it exploded.

“Hey, are you alright?” asked Spike to Twilight.

Twilight looked up and looked herself over to see that she had no injuries. “Yeah, thanks.” replied a grateful Twilight for the quick move.

Spike just nodded with a smile before his face became serious as he stood up and faced the way the energy blast came from. Shining Armor and both of them got in a their ready stances as a larger power source was coming.

They could hear footsteps as a figure could be seen coming out from the darkness of the foliage. Both fighters soon could see the figures features from their position. They were around Twilight's height, and had cyan colored skin. Their hair was colored like the rainbow and they had a tail of the similar color. They had a pair of wings on their backs which signified their ability to fly. It appeared to be female as the armor showed a small amount of cleavage. The armor also appeared to have a single strap on the left side of the armor. She had knee pads on both leg with a pink shorts like material covering her groin.
She had a pair of white gloves on her hands and a pair of white boots on her feet. On her left leg was a mark of a cloud with a rainbow colored lightning bolt. The left side of her face had a device strapped to it with a glass like-visor over her eye. (Try and imagine Fasha's outfit.)

The figure pressed a red button on the device she wore and a sound like a computer could be heard as some kind of reading appeared on the glass visor. After it stopped, the female grinned.

“According to this, the girl is 500, the dragon is 5000, and seems like the white unicorn there has 9000. Not bad.” replied the girl with a cocky tone.

“Who are you?” asked Shining Armor getting into a ready stance as Spike followed.

The female's grin got bigger as she crossed her arms. “The names rainbow Dash, and I heard you're trying to find the elements of harmony.” replied the now identified Rainbow Dash.

“How do you know about the elements?” questioned Twilight who stood up from the ground and was now curious how this girl knew what they were searching for.

“Simple. This scouter on my face can transmit signals and conversations from a limited distance. You see, I’m also looking for those elements as well.”

“But why?” Spike asked to the Pegasus.

“Simple. Because I’m gonna be the one to stop the princesses and show all who's the strongest.” replied Rainbow Dash.

“Spike, this girl's power level is between you and me. It might seem easy, but we don't know who she is. So keep your eyes focused.” replied Shining Armor.

“Heh, you guys will be fun for a little workout. Just don't get yourselves killed along the way.” Rainbow Dash uncrossed her arms and got into a ready stance.

“Twilight, get away from this area. It's gonna get rough.” ordered Shining Armor to his sister.

Twilight knew when to listen to her brother and took cover in the forest foliage while also getting a clear view of the three fighters.

“I think I’ll take the first move.” replied Rainbow Dash with a cocky attitude. Before the two of them could blink, Rainbow Dash disappeared. Both looked around them to see if they could sense her.

“Up here.” both fighters looked up and saw Rainbow Dash above them. She soon disappeared again and delivered a right hook to Shining Armor and a kick to Spike. Both strikes sending them crashing into the trees of the forest.

Rainbow Dash landed softly on the ground and looked at the two spots. “Is that it? I know you guys have more strength, so come out. Otherwise, I’ll start with the girl.” Rainbow Dash emphasized her point by pointing at Twilight with her index finger and began to slowly charge an energy orb.

Shining Armor soon came racing out of the tree at Rainbow Dash and the two soon began a flurry of fast punches and kicks that were either dodged or blocked as they rose higher into the air.

Spike pulled himself from the tree and rubbed his head as he could feel a headache coming on. He looked into the air and saw Shining Armor take on that Pegasus girl. He powered up before shooting into the air to join the fight.

Rainbow Dash grinned as the dragon joined in the fight. Things just got more interesting. She continued to doge or block any attack that was thrown her way.

Shining Armor soon caught onto her pattern and feigned a right punch and waited for her to dodge before he delivered a knee blow to her stomach. That pushed the breath out of her as Spike took the chance and cupped his hands together before bringing them down on her back an sending her crashing down into the forest.

“Go Shining! Go Spike!” cheered Twilight from her position.

“It's not over yet.” whispered Shining Armor as he knew the Pegasus was stronger than Spike, but weaker than him.

Spike had sensed the same thing as his mentor and knew they had the advantage, but that could quickly change.

The dust cloud soon began to clear to reveal Rainbow Dash standing there, but with a few scrapes and scratches on her. She looked up and grinned at the two fighters. She could handle the dragon, but that unicorn is stronger than her, which was tough for her to admit. Maybe she should bring in some backup to help.

She pressed the red button on her scouter and waited. She didn't have to wait long as a new voice could soon be heard. “This is Scootaloo, who is this?” came a reply.

“Scootaloo, it's Rainbow Dash.” replied the Pegasus as she could hear the surprised gasp on the other end. “Listen, I need your help with a few guys that are giving me trouble. Mind coming over to help?” Rainbow Dash knew the young Pegasus would eagerly agree, but she wanted to make sure.

“I'll be there as soon as I can.” replied Scootaloo with eagerness in her voice as the connection ended.

Rainbow Dash looked up to see the two fighters seemed to be powering up.

Shining Armor could sense another power source coming their way. Which could only mean bad news. “Spike, let me handle her on my own. We both know she's stronger than you, so I can take her. I want you to take out the person that's coming this way.”

“Right.” Spike closed his eyes and focused before he could feel the other person's power level. He charged up before speeding across the sky to intercept them.

Rainbow Dash saw the dragon flying to where her backup was coming, and grinned before holding her hand out and blasting an energy blast his direction.

Shining Armor gasped before using instantaneous transmission to get between the blast and Spike and batting it away.

Rainbow Dash smirked before rushing at the unicorn and began to assault him with high speed kicks and punches.

Spike continued to fly through the air and felt the power of the person coming and stopped in the air where he was. The figure appeared in front of him. The figure was slightly shorter than him and had orange colored skin. Their hair was purple along with their tail. They were currently wearing a similar armor to Rainbow Dash, except this one had two shoulder pads and two pads that seemed to function as some kind of skirt as they were on both sides of her legs. She wore blue colored shorts and had white gloves for her hands, while wearing a pair of white boots. (Try and imagine Krillin's saiyan armor from the Frieza saga.) She had a device similar to Rainbow Dash except the visor was colored green.

The young female looked at the dragon and checked his power level with her scouter. “Well, looks like you're about my level.” replied Scootaloo as his power level was 5000, while hers was 5500.

“Yeah, but I can still take you.” replied Spike powering up before rushing at the Pegasus.

“Hm, we'll see.” replied Scootaloo as she charged forward to clash with the dragon.

While this was going on, our young heroes failed to notice a pair of green eyes as they watched the fights from the foliage.

“They don't look so tough. Getting that radar from the girl will be too easy. Then I can find the elements no problem.” the figure stood up and made their way through the foliage as some of the light from the sun showed an apple mark on the blue skirt thy were wearing.

Meanwhile, far from the forest is where we find the seemingly deserted town of Ponyville. The buildings showed considerable damage as armored soldiers could be seen either blasting away at buildings or taking captured citizens away in chains.

High in the sky is where we see two figures as they watch the progress they're making.

“The citizens of this town will be in chains in no time flat.” replied the first figure in an arrogant tone of voice.

“Just make sure nothing goes wrong.” replied the second figure who could be seen as slightly taller than the first.

“What could go wrong, sister?” asked the first as they payed attention to the progress their soldiers were making.

chapter 4

Spike charged at the orange Pegasus and began to send a flurry of punches at her, which she easily dodged by simply turning her head away. He then sent a right hook to her face, but she easily stopped it. He just grinned and delivered a kick to her side which she wasn't expecting and let go of his leg. He took the opening to deliver an open palm strike to her stomach and grabbed her right arm and began to spin the both of them around.

He waited for the right moment and let her go, sending her flying into the forest floor. Spike cupped his hands together near his head and charged up an energy blast. “Masenko!” Spike pushed them forward and sent a yellow energy blast at the spot Scootaloo was and watched as it exploded.

“Woo, that should do it.” replied Spike wiping his forehead.

He stared at the smoke cloud and was sure he got her, but focused as a figure walked out of the cloud. It was Scootaloo with minor damage as her shoulder pads had been broken off and there was a little blood coming form her lip.

“Not bad, I actually felt that a lot. You might be a challenge.” replied Scootaloo floating back up into the sky.

Spike got ready as he could feel her focusing her energy into her right arm. He waited and watched as her armed glowed and she suddenly vanished. Luckily he was able to sense such a strong concentration and could tell she was coming from above.

'This will cleave him in two.' thought a confident Scootaloo descending onto the dragon. She was about to strike him down the middle with her arm break attack, but stopped suddenly as she saw him grab her arm. The strange thing was her scouter began to show his power level getting higher and higher. She stared in shock as his power was above hers and reached 10,000.

Spike's skin and aura turned red as he turned to a shocked Scootaloo. “This technique is kaio-ken x2.” replied Spike as he gripped Scootaloo's arm and he easily flung her to the ground and began to send a rapid barrage of energy blasts at the descending Pegasus.

All the blasts hit their mark as Scootaloo crashed into the tree just as Spike returned to his normal color. He slouched over in the air and held onto his knees while trying to catch his breath. “Man, I still need to work on that.”

Spike saw no movement in the smoke cloud and slowly descended to the ground to take a closer look. He saw from the noticeable crater an unconscious Scootaloo who was still breathing.

Spike let out a relieved sigh and turned around, only to stop after a few steps from hearing the groaning coming from behind him. He turned around to see the young Pegasus beginning to stand up. Now that he took a closer look, he could see that her armor seemed to have only a few cracks in it.

Scootaloo stood up and took a moment to catch her breath as she stared at the shocked dragon. “Impressive, but Rainbow Dash taught me to keep going if I’ve got the energy.” replied Scootaloo.

“She sounds like she cares about you very much.” replied Spike impressed by the Pegasus’s motivation to keep going.

“Of course. We're basically sisters of our race. We are part of the group that survived.” replied Scootaloo.

“What do you mean 'group that survived'?” asked Spike curious.

“I'm talking about the pegasi. If you've never heard of us, it's no surprise. Those two made sure that we were never around anymore.” replied Scootaloo clutching her hand and showing anger on her face.

She saw she had Spike's attention and continued. “It was years ago when I was just a little filly. I had no idea that all I knew would easily change.” Scootaloo looked up as her memories came flooding through.

(Flashback)

Scootaloo was currently flying around her home of Cloudsdale as she was trying to get in as much practice flying as possible. All of the pegasi were called to attend an important announcement in Cloudsdale. The fact that the two princesses requested it meant it was important.

She heard the loud sounds of the royal trumpets and flew to the large crowd that surrounded the stage. Everyone was waiting in anticipation for the two princesses to make their arrival.

Soon a large cloud of purple smoke engulfed the stage and soon dispersed to reveal two figures that were the princesses of Equestria. The crowd erupted into applause for their rulers as the two rulers waved.

Celestia grabbed the mic and brought it to her mouth. “Thank you Cloudsdale. Me and Princess Luna have come to announce something very important. The urgent news is that, you all will never see tomorrow.” replied Celestia who soon let a dark smile on her face with Luna doing the same.

Everyone was shocked and confused and a few even tried to fly away but were quickly brought down from an energy blast from one of the royal guards. Everyone soon noticed the guards began to surround them.

Celestia and Luna raised their hands up and began to focus their energy together and shot a ray of magic into the sky, where a tear soon began to form and created a strong vacuum that began to suck in the residents of Cloudsdale.

Scootaloo looked on with fear as more pegasi were being sucked in. She closed her eyes waiting for the inevitable end, but opened them as she saw a Pegasus with rainbow colored hair and tail was fighting against the guards and making a run for it.

The lone Pegasus was soon joined by others as they fought against the guards for survival and began to fly away from the tear.

Scootaloo was shocked to see the rainbow haired Pegasus turn to her and aimed her palm at her. She closed her eyes and heard an explosion behind her. She turned around to see a guard that had been blasted away from her.

She turned to the Pegasus and saw her giving her a grin. She soon turned serious as she flew up and turned to the orange Pegasus. “If you want to live, follow us.” she flew after the other pegasi while Scootaloo didn't wait another second and flew as fast as she could after the remaining survivors.

(Flashback end)

“After that, we survivors gave ourselves a nickname to get revenge without the princesses figuring out who we were. We went by the old name our great ancestors had when they would go into battle. Saiyans.” replied Scootaloo finishing her story.

“So that armor you two wear is the armor the old saiyans use to wear.” concluded Spike.

“Yes, and it's also able to stand up to any attack you throw at me.” replied Scootaloo getting ready.

“We'll see bout that.” replied Spike shooting at the Pegasus with her doing the same and meeting him head on with a flurry of punches and kicks going at him.

The figure from before looked around the foliage and stopped at a particular spot. Her pupils seemed to shrink as she honed in on the female hiding behind a large tree.

Twilight was looking around the tree as she was doing two things. Taking cover while her brother and apprentice Spike were fighting, and trying to find an element. According to her radar, there was a total of three elements in the area they were in.

She was trying to see if one of them was in the tree and was unaware of the figure getting closer and closer.

The figure reached out and seemed like they were going to grab Twilight, but simply tapped her on the shoulder to get her attention.

Twilight jumped up at the sudden contact and slowly turned around to see someone that she had never seen before. The girl before her had orange colored skin with yellow hair that was in a ponytail. Her tail in the same style as well. Her attire consisted of a blue denim vest and skirt with an apple logo on the left corner of the skirt, with dark blue stockings, brown boots, and a black undershirt that has white and black striped sleeves.

Twilight was surprised to see someone else in the forest and held out her hand in greetings. “Hello, my name is Twilight and you are?”

The female simply looked at the hand before shaking it in greeting. She began to scan the female and her sensors quickly detected the device in her hand.

“Is that a radar?” asked the female pointing to it.

Twilight held up the radar with pride and replied. “Yep, made it myself.”

“Impressive, now give it here.” replied the female with a serious tone.

Twilight looked at her with a confused and scared expression. “What?” asked Twilight in confusion.

“I said give me the radar, or this will happen to you.” the female held her palm out to the side and let loose an energy blast that decimated a large tree into a crater.

The female started walking towards Twilight who began to walk back from the intimidating figure.

“Wait, who are you anyway?” asked Twilight who didn't know why the female wanted the device.

“The name's Applejack, now give it here!” exclaimed Applejack who held a hand to her side and held an energy orb.

Twilight swallowed the lump in her throat and knew she had only option left to do. “HELP!” screamed Twilight as the female came closer and closer.

chapter 5

Spike dodged Scootaloo's punch and retaliated with a knee blow that pushed the Pegasus into a large rock. He quickly used instant transmission and got close enough to cup one hand behind the other and charged his attack. “Masenko!” He thrusted his palms forward and sent the blast at point blank range that caused a large explosion that engulfed Scootaloo and easily decimated the rock.

Spike dropped his arms to his side as he checked the dust cloud to see if she had survived that. He narrowed his eyes and saw a figure in the cloud and quickly dodged to the right as a large energy blast raced past him.

Scootaloo walked out of the cloud with a few more noticeable cracks in her armor, along with her scouter having apparently been destroyed in the blast. She gave Spike a grin that said that this was getting good.

“Impressive. Looks like I’ll have to go all out on you.” replied Scootaloo who crossed her arms across her chest and began to focus her energy until her aura could be seen.

Spike stepped back as he could feel the power level steadily rising. 'This is bad. I've got to finish this and fast.' thought Spike who still had a few more tricks up his sleeve.

Scootaloo let her arms drop to her side as she grinned at him before disappearing from his sight. Spike quickly looked around and noticed a sudden presence to his left and quickly brought up his two gloved claws to block a chop from Scootaloo that had more power in it as he could feel the ground beneath him form into a crater.

'Shining Armor is so gonna chew me out for trying this, but I’ve got no choice.' thought Spike who began to charge his energy up, which began to change into his earlier red color.

Scootaloo noticed this and still kept up with her attack. From her scouter readings, he could only double his power level, and it was only for a short amount of time. Even if he doubled his power, her power level was still stronger and at a whopping 12,000.

Her confident grin soon vanished as Spike grabbed her arm and began to push upward while walking out of the crater. Spike kept a firm grip on her arm and began to swing their bodies around as they began to appear like a tornado of red and orange.

Spike soon let go and let Scootaloo go flying and cupped his two gloved claws together to his side and began to charge a blue energy sphere in the middle of his claws.

Scootaloo crashed into a large tree and winced in pain before she opened her eyes and looked in shock at the attack the dragon was preparing.

“Kaio-ken Kamehameha!” shouted Spike thrusting his hands forward as the large wave of intense energy shot straight towards the Pegasus.

Scootaloo knew she wouldn't be able to dodge the attack with its speed and charged up nearly all her power into her mouth before opening it wide towards the blast and letting her own attack shoot towards it.

Both attacks clashed and both seemed to be even, but only for a second before Spike's pushed it back and made contact with the rock. Causing a large explosion that took out a large area of trees.

Spike let out several gasps as he tried to catch his breath. He had pushed his body beyond what he could do and used all the energy he had left in his body. He fell to his knees and focused on the dust cloud that engulfed the area, trying to see if there was any movement.

He smiled in relief at his supposed win and let gravity take its course and plopped down onto the ground. He felt content to just lay there and rest, but that came to a grounded halt as he heard footsteps coming towards him.

He raised his head up with rough effort, and saw the figure of Scootaloo coming towards him. Her armor was very much damaged to where most of the armor covering her torso was gone. Luckily she had a purple bra covering her chest as she made her way to him.

Spike couldn't do anything at the moment considering his situation and could only watch as Scootaloo stood over him and raised her hand, ready to end him. He closed his eyes and waited for the blow to come. When it didn't, he opened them to see Scootaloo fall to the ground next to him and could hear her trying to catch her breath.

“Lucky....for you......I can't......really......move much.....myself.” replied Scootaloo in between breaths.

Spike could only chuckle at that before it turned into a laugh that got Scootaloo's attention. The Pegasus felt insulted, but couldn't help herself either as she began to join him in laughter.

Soon both of them saw an explosion a few yards away that caused several trees to fall. Spike's eyes widened at where it was. It was where Twilight was.

He propped himself with his arms and could only grunt as he tried to crawl over there.

“What are you doing?” questioned Scootaloo not understanding why the dragon was pushing his body beyond his limits.

“My friend is over there.” grunted Spike who didn't let up and continued his slow pace there.

Shining Armor dodged Rainbow Dash's punch and retaliated with an open palm thrust to her stomach, knocking the air out of her. He continued it up with chop to her side that sent her flying before she righted herself.

“It's time to end this!” exclaimed Rainbow holding her hands to her side while a purple energy orb began to form.

“I couldn't agree more.” Shining Armor cupped his hands together and held them to his side as he began to charge his attack.

“Kamehameha!” Yelled Shining sending the blue energy blast roaring at the Pegasus.

“Galick Gun!” Rainbow sent her purple blast at the unicorn and both of them began to pour more of their energy into their attacks as they both clashed for dominance.

Shining Armor was putting everything he had into it and saw that his attack was starting to win, but he heard a loud scream from before. Looking away for a moment is all Rainbow needed to pour her excess energy into her attack and grinned at seeing her attack get closer to Shining.

Shining Armor turned his head and saw that the Pegasus’s attack was getting too close and quickly dispersed his attack before flying above the blast before it could turn him into ash.

“That sounded like Twilight!” Shining Armor immediately shot straight down into the trees.

“Hey, we haven't finished our fight!” exclaimed Rainbow in frustration at her opponent leaving before a winner could be determined. “Get back here!” Rainbow zoomed down after the unicorn to finish their battle.

Twilight ducked behind a large tree and tried to keep her heart from jumping out of her chest from all the breaths she needed to take. She peered around the side of the trunk and sighed at not seeing the female there.

Just before she could stand up to make a run for it, the tree behind her was virtually decimated as the female stood there with her hand outstretched towards her.

“Ah'm not gonna tell ya again. Hand over the radar, or I blow you to bits.” commanded Applejack already charging up another attack.

“I don't know why you want it so much, but you're not getting this radar. We need this to find the elements of harmony to stop Princess Celestia and Luna!” exclaimed Twilight holding onto the radar tight.

“Fine. You won't give it willingly, I’ll take it by force.” Applejack shot her energy blast at Twilight who jumped to the ground to avoid it and was almost blown to dust as the blast decimated several trees.

“Just why do you want this anyways?” Twilight popped her up from behind the rock she had ducked behind to ask the question.

Applejack lowered her hand and shook her head with dismay. “Fine. I’ll tell ya why. I came here because I could pick up you, your friends, and brothers power level from home. I'm on a quest. A quest to find the elements, and use them to stop Celestia and Luna's dark reign. Now you can either give it to me, or I take my time ripping it out from your hands.” Applejack began to walk towards Twilight which scared the unicorn.

“Leave her alone!” Shining touched down in between the two and got into a ready stance. “You'll get my sister after you go through me.”

“Fine with me.” Applejack shot forward and shocked the two siblings by suddenly disappearing and then reappearing behind Shining Armor. He could only turn his head a few degrees before getting sent flying from Applejack's left boot. He ended up crashing into two trees before stopping.

Twilight's eyes widened in shock at seeing her big brother get hit so fast and easily. Applejack began to make her way towards her and she quickly stuffed the radar in her bag before taking a basic fighting stance.

“You're kidding, right?” Applejack merely gave Twilight a deadpan look before resuming her walk.

“I'm not letting you take our only chance of finding the elements. Without them, all of equestria will be doomed.”

Applejack stopped where she was and sighed before rubbing the bridge of her nose. “Look, I’m gonna be honest with ya. I'd much rather have you give it to me instead of forcing me to fight you all. I was built to fight Celestia and Luna with the elements.”

“Wait, what do you mean by built?” Twilight relaxed her stance for a moment but quickly resumed it.

Applejack sighed again before reaching over to her right hand with her left and grabbed what appeared to be her skin before shocking the unicorn by opening it like it was a lid. She showed her hand to her and the young unicorn could see circuitry and wire in her hand. “Just, what are you?” asked a shocked Twilight.

“I'm an android. I was born like any other filly or colt, but I was added with cybernetic circuitry when I grew up. The reason being was to fight Celestia and Luna when they went plum crazy, and I need the elements to help. I can't find them on my own because my family didn't have the parts needed to build a radar.” finished Applejack closing the hatch on her hand.

“Wait, if you're looking for the elements like we are, why fight us? Wouldn't it make sense to work together?” reasoned Twilight trying to avoid a fight.

“Because, if I tag along with anyone on this journey, they'll be in as much danger as me from Celestia and Luna. It would be better if I do this by myself.” replied Applejack.

“But don't you get it? There are strength in numbers, and I’m confident with you on our team, we can find the elements no problem, and stop the princesses.” Twilight tried to reason again.

“You're trying to make friends with the girl who just tried to blow you up? That makes no sense whatsoever.” replied Applejack.

“Maybe not, but it's pointless to fight each other if we both want the same thing. And that's peace for equestria.” replied Twilight with stern conviction.

Applejack had to give it to the girl. She sure had a way with words. And it did make sense. She just didn't want anyone to get hurt if there was more than one person. If what she read from her sensors, than the girl's brother and the dragon were certainly stronger than most of the people she had met and seen. Maybe teaming up didn't sound so bad.

“Alright, I’ll join your little gang, but I think we first have to get the rest of the group together.” Applejack saw Twilight give her a deadpan look and looked over to the unconscious Shining Armor and just rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment. “Whoops, forgot about him.”

Twilight shook her head and together with help from Applejack, both of them were able to set Shining Armor down on some soft ground that would work for the moment before his injuries were looked at.

“So, you're the one the unicorn had to rush off to fight. You seem tough.” came a cocky voice from above the two of them. Twilight was shocked to see the Pegasus that was fighting her brother while Applejack didn't seem worked up about seeing her.

“The names Rainbow Dash, strongest Pegasus you'll ever meet.” boasted Rainbow pointing to her chest.

“Really.” Applejack didn't look the least bit worried or scared of the Pegasus and merely crossed her arms over her chest.

“Oh, so you don't believe me? Fine, your funeral then.” replied Rainbow landing on the ground and getting ready.

“Don't wine to me when I whoop your ass.” Applejack let her arms hang to her side and stood a few feet from the Pegasus, ready for a battle.

Twilight grabbed her unconscious brother by the shoulders and quickly, but gently began to drag him behind a large boulder to keep him from getting caught in the fight.

While Twilight was busy dragging her brother behind cover for safety from the dangerous battle about to ensue, a pair of crystal blue eyes could be seen peering through the bush.

“My, this is interesting. Wonder what the others will think about this.” came a soothing voice that would cause many men to melt.

The two eyes moved to the right and could see an injured purple dragon crawling towards where the two fighters stood. “Oh my, seems like one of them needs some help.” the voice replied as the figure disappeared into the foliage and toward Spike.

chapter 6

Rainbow Dash floated there for a little bit while Applejack kept her eyes focused on the Pegasus. Both fighters waited for a silent signal to begin. As soon as a drop of dew from one of the leaves nearby fell and hit the ground, both fighters charged at each other.

Rainbow tried to deliver a chop aimed at Applejack's head, but Applejack easily ducked under the attack and got in close to Rainbow before delivering an open palm strike to her midsection, stunning the Pegasus and causing her to lose her breath.

Applejack grinned before following it up with another open palm strike to the saiyans cheek, sending her flying into several trees.

Applejack grinned and brushed a strand of her hair back with her thumb as Rainbow pushed herself out of the broken trees.

"Heh, not bad." replied Rainbow who actually felt a lot more pain than she thought. This wasn't surprising considering her fight against Shining Armor, but her pride as a Pegasus and a saiyan refused to let her admit it out loud.

"Ah'm surprised you're still up." commented Applejack.

"It'll take more than a little push to keep me down." replied Rainbow floating up with her wings flapping.

"We'll see." replied Applejack flying straight towards Rainbow. Rainbow tried to dodge her and deliver a drop kick at the same time, but Applejack surprised her by easily grabbing the foot before it could touch her.

"Gonna have to try harder than that." commented Applejack before she gripped Rainbow's ankle and tossed the Pegasus away.

Rainbow used the momentum of the throw and sent several energy blasts at Applejack, all hitting heir mark.

"Hah. Who's laughing now?" asked Rainbow who was sure those hurt. Her grin was wiped off as the dust parted to reveal Applejack with only her clothes appearing scratched up.

"It'll take more than that to keep me down." replied Applejack charging at Rainbow who was to late to try and block due to her still being surprised. Which cost her as she found herself sent flying from a roundhouse kick.

Applejack put her leg down and crossed her arms and let out a sigh. She was hoping for a bigger challenge, but it seemed like this Pegasus was all out of juice.

"Guess this fight is over with." replied Applejack turning around and began to walk away. She stopped as her sensors picked up movement behind her and she turned around to see Rainbow picking herself up, but was struggling with it.

"I...won't go......down...that easy." gasped Rainbow who took a stance and curled her fingers and placed them both together at her chest with one of the palms on the back of the other. "Time to finish his." wheezed Rainbow who refused to go down.

Applejack sighed and rubbed her head with her two fingers. This Pegasus just wouldn't quit. Seemed like she needed to end this. She held her hands out and began to focus her energy into a blast to even this out.

"Galick Gun!" yelled Rainbow thrusting her hands forward and unleashed a powerful wave of energy heading straight for Applejack.

Applejack smirked before sending her blast at Rainbow's attack. Both began to clash for dominance, but it was obvious Applejack had the upper hand as her attack pushed back Dash's and engulfed the Pegasus, resulting in a an explosion that created a large crater to appear. Applejack walked over to it and looked down to see Rainbow still in one piece, but most of her armor being destroyed, showing some of her underwear. She was also half buried in the ground and was unconscious.

Applejack felt like turning around to leave her here, but stopped herself and knew she was gonna regret this. She slid down the crater and slung her body over her shoulder and began to carry the unconscious saiyan out of the crater.

She saw where Twilight had put her brother out so he could rest and walked over to set Rainbow down, but made sure she was covered up and put a blanket Twilight had over her to give her some privacy.

Meanwhile, Spike was nearing the place where Twilight had been before she retired with Shining Armor, but then he felt a presence near him, making him look up to the newcomer...and end up blushing due to her beauty.

"Oh my, what do we have here?" Said a white unicorn with a purple, styled mane with blue crystal eyes and a beautiful face. She wore a white jacket and pants with gold buckles, a gold, pointy necklace and earrings, a blue undershirt, black pull on sleeves, a purple sash, and yellow and black boots. "A poor hurt dragon, are you fine?"

"I...I..." Spike actually didn't know what to say due to the beauty that the unicorn had, "W-who are you?"

"My name is Rarity, young dragon. And yours?" Asked the now named Rarity who neared Spike as he tried to stand up, but was still exhausted after his battle.

"S-spike..."

"Don't worry Spike, I won't hurt you...I just need you to answer a few questions," She said before noticing him losing consciousness, "but for now I'll have to get you healed." And with that the white mare took the now asleep Spike and went to get him healed.

The entrance to the hideout wasn't far, so Rarity easily carried him over her shoulder and entered into the cave. While going through, their were gems embedded in the walls to help illuminate the way, but were hard to see from the outside.

She finally stopped when she walked into a larger cavern that had a few tents to signify a temporary base.

"Hey, where were you? And what's that you got?" questioned a figure that stood near one of the tents.

"I found this dragon hurt and brought him here to heal." replied Rarity walking over to her own tent, which was more colorful than the three tents across that were just camouflage. Her tent on the other hand was a stunning shade of purple with gold colored lines on the sides.

"The boss won't be happy about this." replied a second voice that came from a larger figure.

"Oh be quiet you two. He could be helpful." replied Rarity.

"Helpful? Ha. That's so funny I forgot to laugh." came a third voice from a figure shorter than the first two.

"You just did." replied Rarity with a deadpan expression.

However, unknown to Rarity and the figures, the boss they were talking about was near them, but stopped herself from appearing upon hearing her workers talk about the knocked out dragon that her prized pupil had bought in.

"How interesting..." The figure smirked before coming in, "Hello there, what do we have here my little helpers?"

That made Rarity and the figures stop their bickering before kneeling in front of their boss.

"Queen Chrysalis..." began the first figure who happened to be a diamond dog. His name was Rover. His clothing consisted of a red sleeveless jacket that left his chest bare and wore a pair of red gloves that left his fingers free. He wore a pair of white baggy pants with a red sash to keep them up. He also had a spiked color around his next.

"....we were just telling Rarity..." next was Fido, who was the same race. His attire was similar to Rover's, except he had a sword on his hip that was currently sheath. The only other difference was the blue sleeveless jacket he wore.

"....how foolish she was being." finished Spot who wore a long sleeved purple shirt with the other similarities as the other two. Minus having a sword.

"Really? But why would you do that to little miss rarity?" Asked Chrysalis as she revealed herself; A black pony like being with insect wings and holes in her hoof having long green-blue hair with green stilted eyes, a twisted horn and fangs for teeth. She wears a green dress that shows a decent amount of cleavage and high heel boots.

"M-my lady!" Rarity called in surprise before she pointed to the asleep Spike, "I found this unconscious dragon near a place where a battle must have happened, and I thought that he would help us with our objective if we helped him recover."

Chrysalis thought in what her most prized student said before nodding at the idea of having a new ally, or puppet regardless of how powerful he was. "Fair enough, my dear. You may heal him."

Rarity beamed, "Thank you my lady!"

Meanwhile, Twilight had noticed something while Shining, Applejack, and Rainbow rested.

"Hey, where's Spike?"

"I don't know. He wasn't anywhere near the area when I followed you guys." replied Scootaloo with bandages wrapped around her body.

"That sounds weird. I wonder where he is." replied Twilight with a worried look.

chapter 7

Right now Twilight and the others were resting in a cave AJ found shortly after the battle with Rainbow Dash.

Right now a certain pegasus was waking up after the defeat she got against the android earth mare.

"Wha-what happened?" groaned Rainbow trying to sit up, but hissed in pain as her midsection was all bandaged up.

'What happened...?' She thought before a certain pegasus went near her.

"RAINBOW DASH!" Screamed Scootaloo as she hugged her big sister in all but blood.

"Ow! Watch the bruise!" yelled Rainbow who tensed up from the pain.

"Sorry." apologized Scootaloo giving her room.

"Don't worry. Anyway, where are we?" Rainbow asked as Twilight, AJ and Shining came in.

"We're staying in a cave AJ found." replied Twilight making sure the bandages were adjusted properly.

"Wait...I remember you!" Growled Dash while pointing at AJ, who ignored her.

"'Sup?" She simply said.

Rainbow was about to get up, but had to stay down due to her injuries.

"Please don't move, you're still injured..." Twilight said worriedly, hoping that the pegasus wouldn't attack them.

"Why am I here? And why did you bandage me up?" asked Rainbow.

"We had to find a place to recover after the battle and before any of the princesses forces were able to found us. As for why I bandaged you...Well, It's not in my nature to ignore those in need, regardless of whom they are as long as they're good ponies..." Twilight explained before blushing a bit embarrassed as Shining smiled, remembering how much Twilight loved to help others even when she was small.

Rainbow was surprised at the unicorns humble nature and merely nodded her head in thanks.
That's when Scootaloo took count of everyone there and realized something.

"Wait...where's the dragon boy?!" She asked as everypony realized that, indeed, Spike was missing!

"Don't worry. I've trained him well since he was young, so he's likely in a good shelter."reassured Shining.

"Yeah...besides he owes me a rematch!" Scootaloo said with a comical rage face as everypony chuckled.

(The Cave)

Spike was currently bandaged up himself and sitting on a bed inside a tent that looked extravagant.

'Ugh...' Moaned the dragon as he began to wake up. 'W-what happened?' He thought as he looked around his surroundings.

He was confused on why he was in a pretty tent, and saw Rarity walk in with some food on a tray.

"Oh my, you're finally awake! Thank goodness!" Rarity smiled, but saw the dragon frozen up.

Now that Spike was a little higher than the ground floor, he found himself stunned at her beauty.

"Ah...um...ho-" stammered Spike.

"Oh my, I guess my beauty was too much for you, honey~!" Giggled Rarity before Spike recovered and looked away with a blush.

"Good thing you're up. I came in to get you some food." replied Rarity putting the tray on the table beside him.

"U-um Rarity..." He began, making her curious. "T-thanks for saving me back then!"

"No problem, Spike. Just make sure you get lots of rest. Now say Ahhh!" Rarity held up the spoon that had fresh soup in it for Spike to eat.

Meanwhile, Twilight and Scootaloo (Alongside the other mares but not to much) felt something WRONG.

"That's weird. I feel like I should be angry." muttered Twilight.

"Strange...me too..." Muttered Scootaloo as well.

"Funny, I feel the urge to punch someone." responded AJ.

"And I feel the urge to kick that somepony as well..." Answered Dash.

"Hm, weird." shrugged Shining.

Shining himself felt sad yet proud of his student for some reason.

Meanwhile, Spike was happily (and unaware of the group's feelings) eating Rarity's food.

"Delicious." smiled Spike as he gladly consumed anything Rarity put in front of him.

"So Spike, why did you ended up that hurt?" Rarity asked.

"I was fighting some pegasus who called herself a saiyan." replied Spike.

That surprised Rarity very much, "You said...you fought a saiyan pegasus...AND LIVED ?!"

"Yeah, why?" asked spike.

"Because everypony that has come across them had been killed with some small exceptions..." She answered.

"Wow..." replied Spike in awe.

Then he grinned before laughing. "I'm very lucky then!"

Rarity was surprised at his enthusiasm and merely shook her head before continuing to feed him.

"So why are you traveling around these places despite how dangerous they are?" Rarity asked in curiosity.

"Me and my teacher are helping his sister. We're trying to stop the princesses from destroying the land." replied Spike.

"Oh my!" Rarity gasped, NOT expecting that. "But how you're going to stop them?!"

“Simple. We're gonna find the elements of harmony, which are said to grant great power, and use them to save the land and the princesses." replied Spike.

Rarity's eyes almost popped out of her head after hearing that,

'THE ELEMENTS OF HARMONY?! LADY CHRYSALIS MUST HEAR THIS!'

"Really? That's amazing!" exclaimed Rarity before noticing the empty tray. "Oh, I'll be right back." Rarity picked the tray up to get Spike more food while also making sure to stop by her lady's tent for the update.

"M'lady, can I enter?" Rarity asked before hearing a "Come in." from her queen and getting inside.

"Hello Rarity, why did you came here? Does it have to do with our guest?" Asked Chrysalis curiously.

"Yes, M'Lady, I have learned of something very helpful." bowed Rarity.

"Hmm? And what is it?" Chrysalis said before drinking some wine.

"The elements of harmony!" Rarity answered, making Chrysalis spill out her drink in shock!

"What?!" exclaimed Chrysalis in shock.

"Just as you heard M'lady." Rarity said.

"If that's true, then he will be useful. Ensure he gets healed. We'll need him to find them." ordered Chrysalis.

"O-of course!" Rarity answered a bit surprised before she got out.

"If that dragon can lead me to the elements, then I can crush Celestia and Luna and make them pay for banishing me." promised Chrysalis with a green glow in her eyes.

Meanwhile Rarity had gotten some more food and was now feeding a happy Spike.

"How long do you think I'll be here?" asked Spike.

"Until your wounds are healed, darling." Rarity answered.

"Well, I guess I won't mind staying longer if I continue to have food given by such a beautiful mare." Grinned Spike with closed eyes, and thus he didn't saw the blush on the unicorn's face.

'Wow, cute and a smooth talker. I guess me helping him makes me his nurse." blushed Rarity thinking of herself in a revealing outfit like that.

"Umm Rarity, are you alright?" Spike asked as he saw her face turn red.

"Um...y-yes, darling." replied Rarity with an embarrassed look on her face.

Now we're in the once glorious city of Canterlot, which was now turned into a Dystopia where the arrogant, rich and so-called nobles would abuse of the weak alongside the guards.

And all because of the princesses turning from kind leaders into merciless tyrants.

We find said rulers on their thrones. Solar Flare wore gold armor that kept her body protected with golden gauntlets and matching boots. She also had special braces on her wings for some of her stronger attacks.

"So, dear sister, enjoying the view?" Asked a voice as Solar Flare looked at her side and saw her sister Nightmare Moon.

Nightmare Moon was slightly shorter than her sister. She had black fur contrasted to her sister and had royal blue colored armor for her torso, arms, feet, and wings.

"Indeed I am, Nightmare Moon..," Smiled Solar Flare as they heard the sounds of despair.

"I could listen to that all day." sighed Nightmare closing her eyes with bliss.

"So dear sister, anything about my dear student?" Asked Solar Flare as her sister sighed.

"Nothing. It seems like she up and vanished." replied Nightmare.

"Hmmm..." Frowned the sun goddess. "That unsettles me..." One part of her felt as if it knew WHY her student had vanished, yet she couldn't remember why.

"Shall we send a ground out to find her?" asked Nightmare.

"That would be a good idea..." Solar Flare answered.

Nightmare Moon stood up and sent out a shrill whistle, causing a small group of stallions to rush to their feet.

These stallions had midnight fur and wore black armor and had batwings.

"Yes M'lady?" Asked the leader as they kneed.

"Go out and search for Twilight Sparkle. Use force if necessary." ordered Nightmare.

"As you wish!" They cheered before running off.

"There. Now we simply sit back and wait." replied Nightmare closing her eyes.

"If you say so..." Solar Flare said.

As the two princesses relaxed on their thrones, they would later come to realize the powerful foes they would face.

chapter 8

The royal night guard rushed together toward the forest their rulers had commanded them to check.

The Royal guard looked like a red earth pony with black mane, red eyes, and orange armor.

"Spread out men. We must find the princesses student at once." ordered the head guard.

"ROGER!" Nodded the other guards, who looked exactly like him, but lacked the cape.

All of them darted around while we find ourselves back in the cave with Shining and the others.

"So where should we go now?" Shining asked his sister.

"We can't leave until Rainbow is completely healed." replied Twilight.

"Don't worry, our kind heals very fast..." Said Rainbow as she took off her bandages, showing her healed wounds.

That surprised Twilight as she and Scootaloo got up and stretched their limbs, just as Shining sensed something close by.

'This ki...it's very dark...' He thought as he could feel the dark ki coming near them.

"Heads up. We got company." remarked Applejack standing straight.

"W-who is it?" Asked Twilight nervous.

"Not sure, but there's several of them, and they're coming closer." replied Shining tightening the headband on his head.

"Can you get a look at them?" Rainbow asked as she cursed the fact that her scouter was destroyed.

Applejack narrowed her eyes as her energy sensor picked up the five figures with their power coming closer.

"Well Applejack, what did you see?" Asked Scootaloo.

"Five of them are converging on us." replied Applejack.

"Do you see what they look like?" Asked Rainbow.

Applejack took a closer look and cursed at the emblem on their armor.

"Shit! They're royal guards!" She said.

Rainbow cursed under her breath while Shining sighed. This would be tough.

Twilight went pale upon hearing that.

Soon the five guards surrounded the entrance to the cave.

"Do you feel anything here, general?" Asked one of the subordinates to his superior.

"A few energy sources." spoke the head guard as he narrowed his eyes at the cave.

The soldier nodded as he and the others got in fighting positions.

"For anyone in the cave, come out or we shall fire in the name of the princesses." called the head guard.

"Shit! What do we do?!" Scootaloo asked in panic.

"We fight of course!" cried Rainbow cracking her knuckles walking to the entrance of the cave.

"Ah agree with her." Applejack said as she walked alongside the pegasus.

Twilight was nervous as her brother and Scootaloo stood beside them as well.

Twilight felt a little more at ease as they walked out of the cave and in view of the royal guard.

"Twilight Sparkle, you're hereby under arrest by the princesses' orders." Said the lead guard. "Please give up and come with us without resistance, otherwise we won't be so careful about your health."

The answer he got was the guard receiving a punch to the gut before getting sent crashing into a tree.

"How's that for an answer? Rainbow asked with a smirk.

Everypony else was shocked except AJ, who looked humored, and Scootaloo, who had stars in her eyes.

"Fire!" commanded one of the soldiers as they all held their palms out and began shooting energy blasts at the group.

Shining acted quickly and made an energy bubble to protect himself, Scootaloo and Twilight as AJ and Rainbow Dash moved to fight the remaining guards.

Rainbow sent one of them flying with a punch to the jaw while Applejack blasted two back with a blast from both her hands.

The remaining soldier could only look at the two girls in fear, especially when they glanced at him.

"We can't let you tell the princesses." spoke Rainbow as they both held an arm out and shot a blast at the soldier together, easily disintegrating him on the spot.

"RAINBOW!" Cried Twilight in shock from what she saw.

"It needed to be done." spoke Rainbow crossing her arms.

“B-but..." Twilight tried to spoke.

"This is fighting for survival. You need to understand that sugarcube." spoke Applejack patting her shoulder.

Twilight flinched before nodding, hoping to find the elements soon and end the needless casualties.

"We better move before more of them find us." advised Shining.

They all nodded as they soon went away into the forest, as only the captain of the now deceased squad woke up from the attack he suffered thanks to Rainbow.

"Must..call....reinforcements..." groaned the guard holding one hand out as he shot an energy blast straight up.

"SHIT!" Rainbow cursed when she saw what the guard did.

"We gotta run." spoke Scootaloo.

Everypony nodded as Shining took his sister to his back and they flew away.

(Cave)

Now we find Spike resting after being given food by Rarity.

He was feeling a lot better than before and managed to get out of bed and did some stretches.

"Ahh~! That's better!" He grinned as he took off the bandages, revealing his healed scales.

Seeing how he was full of energy, he walked out of the tent to take a look around the place.

He saw some tents like the one he was in, but nothing interesting like Rarity.

He started walking around the spacious cave as it looked barren and gloomy like any other cave.

"Where is this cave located anyway?" He asked himself.

He stopped speaking as he heard what sounded like other voices close by.

Spike quickly hid himself in case they were enemies.

"I still can't believe we have to let that dragon stay with us." spoke the first voice.

"Remember, it's the boss orders..." Said a second voice.

"For all we know, he could be a spy!" spoke a third voice.

"Don't you remember how Rarity brought him? He was already hurt and knocked out." Said the second voice.

"Yes, but what if he's working for the princesses?" suggested the third voice.

"Why don't we ask him then? We will be able to tell if he's lying..." Said the first voice.

Spike panicked as he heard the sound of footsteps coming and quickly ducked back into Rarity's tent and pretended to be asleep.

He discretely opened his eyes and saw three dog shaped figures passing nearby.

"He's still sleeping." remarked the largest figure.

"Seriously? Damn, he must be a heavy sleeper..." Said the smallest figure.

"Should we let him sleep?" asked the medium sized figure.

"Considering the leader hasn't called him at all...yeah." And with that, all the figures retired, leaving Spike alone.

"That was close." he whispered to himself.

Spike then got curious about the so called leader and wondered how he or she was like.

He double checked to make sure the coast was clear before silently making his way through the cave.

Then he heard a beautiful female voice singing, making him blush and felt at ease...

He tried to stay low while also following where the voice was coming from.

He eventually made it to near the outside, where he saw a female figure with a horn on top.

She sat on the rock while letting out a soothing melody from her fanged mouth.

Spike blushed when he saw how beautiful the mare was despite the revealing clothes she was in.

Chrysalis stopped her singing as she turned and noticed the dragon standing there.

She was surprised before she smirked, having an idea of what to do with him.

"It's rude to stare you know." teased Chrysalis.

"S-sorry!" Spike said with a blush.

"Feeling much better I see." smiled Chrysalis standing up.

"Yeah..." Spike said before asking, "Are you the leader around here?"

"Of course." smiled Chrysalis.

"So...do you know where Rarity is ?" Spike asked, curious about the white unicorn.

"She went out to scout out for anyone nearby." replied the changeling.

Spike nodded before he asked. "And those dogs are your allies as well?"

"You could say that." grinned the female.

Spike nodded before asking, "Sorry for not introducing myself, I'm Spike, and you?"

"Queen Chrysalis." smiled Chrysalis.

Spike nodded. "So what were you doing outside here?"

"I wanted to get some fresh air. It gets dusty in there." replied Chrysalis walking around him.

"Fair enough..."

"I was going to wait later, but I think now is a perfect time to ask for your help."

"Help in what?" Spike asked.

"You see, I want to find the elements of harmony to stop the tyranny Celestia and Luna have caused."

Spike's eyes widened upon hearing that.

"How do you know about the elements?" he asked with caution.

"I knew about them a long time ago, before the princesses became tyrants..." She answered.

Spike felt the answer was real and relaxed a little.

"Wait...you knew the princesses before they became...who they are now?" Spike asked surprised.

"Queen Solar Flare and Nightmare Moon." replied Chrysalis.

"Oh...I meant who they were before..." Spike said in embarrassment.

"A little. Let's just say we weren't the best of pals." remarked Chrysalis with a frown.

"I'm surprised, after all you're a good pony..." Spike said as she giggled.

"I wouldn't say that. I can be quite, naughty." spoke Chrysalis near his ear.

Spike blushed upon feeling her near him.

"Uh, maybe I should go find my friends." replied Spike stepping back from her.

"Now now, I think you should stay here awhile, just to make sure that you're not hurt." Said Chrysalis taking his hands with hers.

Spike blushed as she walked back to the cave with him behind her.

'She's right...besides I might see Rarity again...' He thought with a smile and blush.

That's when Rainbow, Scootaloo, Applejack, and Twilight frowned for some reason.

'Ah feel annoyed again...' Thought AJ.

'Why do I feel like breaking someone's skull?' wondered Rainbow.

'Why do I feel like using my magic to harm someone?' Twilight wondered.

'Why do I have the urge to break someone's kneecaps?' Scootaloo thought .

Shining yet again felt proud but sad about Spike.

Spike and Chrysalis made it back into the cave where the Diamond Dogs watched them re-enter the cave.

"Well then Spike, why don't I introduce you to the others?" Chrysalis said as he nodded.

Spike watched as she stood next to the dogs who stood at attention.

"So what are your names?" Spike asked politely.

"I'm Rover." spoke the medium sized dog.

"I'm sophie..." Said the biggest one.

"And I'm Spot." spoke the shortest.

Spike nodded, "I'm Spike, a pleasure."

That's when they heard Rarity's voice from the entrance.

"Darlings~! We have returned!" They heard.

'We?' thought Spike in confusion.

Spike's question was answered when he saw Rarity arrive with a younger unicorn mare.

The smaller unicorn had a white coat like Rarity and had light purple and pink mane and tail.

She wore the same clothes as Rarity, but in pink and purple colors.

"Oh Spike! Good to see you're up." smiled Rarity.

"Y-yeah!" He blushed before he asked "Who is she?"

"This is my little sister Sweetie Belle." smiled Rarity rubbing her siblings head.

Spike was surprised upon hearing that.

"Is it true? Are you really gonna help us find the elements?" asked Sweetie with a bright smile.

Spike nodded with a smile, making her cheer.

chapter 9

(Cave)

"Can you really breath fire?" asked Sweetie Belle looking at Spike.

Spike nodded a bit embarrassed, "Yeah, I can...although I don't use that a lot."

"What else can you do?" she asked in eager.

"Well, I can use Ki to fight." Spike said happier of the attention he was given.

"Like my sister?"

"Yeah-Wait, she can fight to?!" Spike asked surprised.

"Of course darling. Did you think I was just another pretty face?" grinned Rarity with her hands on her hips.

That caused the dragon to look down in embarrassment, much to the girls' amusement.

"Alright, I think it's time to head." spoke Chrysalis.

"Head where, Ms. Chrysalis?" Asked Sweetie Belle eager and curious.

"To where the elements are."

That caused Spike to look surprised as he quickly raised to his feet and asked, "Where are they?!"

"That's where you come in."

"Eh?" That made everyone look at the surprised Spike.

"Me? How?"

"Well, according to legends, dragons were capable of detecting jewelry, and from what I remember, the last time I saw the elements, they were some jeweled spheres." Explained Chrysalis.

"So Spike here can find them?" asked Sweetie Belle.

Chrysalis nodded with a smile, much to Spike's surprise. "Just lead the way." urged Chrysalis.

"E-Eh?! W-Where do I start looking?!" Spike asked looking around.

"Just go with what you feel."

Spike hastily nodded before closing his eyes and beginning to smell around...

'How am I supposed to feel them? That makes no sense.' he thought. But then his nose was hit by several smells, but six of them were between the strongest ones.

"Wait, I got something."

"What is it?!" Chrysalis asked very curious.

"Not sure, but we go this way." he spoke as he started walking.

Everyone else looked at each other before nodding and followed Spike.

(Shining and the others)

"So how far we are from the element?" Asked Rainbow Dash curious.

"I don't know. The map I found is very old and for all we know, they might have been moved around." spoke Twilight.

"So we're basically on a wild goose chase, joy." AJ spoke.

"Don't you got a fancy scanner in that thick head of yours?" asked Rainbow.

"Yeah, but it wasn't completed." Frowned the girl.

"Typical earth pony. Can't even get something as simple as a scanner done like that." replied Rainbow snapping her fingers.

"Look who's talking, Miss Pegasus that trusted her scooter and got her flank beat up by yours truly." Replied AJ back.

"That's was pure luck!" retorted Rainbow with a growl.

"Wanna test that again?" Chuckled the mare.

"Bring it rustbucket!" barked Rainbow clenching her fist.

"With pleasure, chicken wings!" Grinned AJ.

Both were ready to start a brawl before Scootaloo tried intervening.

"W-WAIT! W-We can't do that now!" She said nervous.

"Why not? It'll only take five seconds." grinned Rainbow.

"That's what you said last time before I drove mah boot on ya' face." AJ said flatly.

"She's right. We need to focus." spoke Shining.

That made both mares look at him.

"If we don't keep going, more guards might come by and this time much more than last time."

That made them go silent while glaring at each other. They turned away from the other and kept following Twilight.

"So how close are we, Twily?" Asked Shining curious.

"We should be coming up to a large oak tree a few more paces."

They looked around and, indeed, said tree was in front of them. They walked up and spotted a door built into the tree.

"So what's inside it?" Asked a curious Rainbow Dash, somehow feeling...familiar about this place.

"Hold up." spoke Twilight before knocking on the door.

"I-I'm coming!" Spoke a shy voice that surprised both pegasi in the group!

"Wait a minute...." muttered Rainbow in realization.

"This place...it's-!" Scootaloo whispered with wide eyes!

The door opened to reveal the occupant inside. The occupant herself shocked the other pegasi on how she looked like. She was a yellow furred pegasus with a long pink mane and tail. She had a red ribbon tied in her hair and wore a revealing black corset-like outfit with matching stockings, each with pink frills around the edges.

"F-Fluttershy?!" Both Rainbow and Scootaloo gasped.

Said Pegasus smiled at seeing the two pegasi, but felt embarrassed seeing the other three.

"H-Hello Rainbow Dash...S-Scootaloo...L-long time no see..." She answered.

"How long has it been since we last saw each other?" smiled Rainbow.

"A-A few years, I think." She answered shyly.

"Uh, is this your home?" asked Twilight.

"Y-Yes! P-Please come in!" Fluttershy said as they went inside.

The group walked in where they saw all sorts of animals walking around it. But then they felt a shiver on their backs and saw a mere bunny looking at them with a glare.

"Uh, nice place you have here." complimented Shining.

"T-Thank you. I-I like it here." She said with a blush.

"Well we were wondering if you knew anything about the elements of harmony." spoke Twilight.

The question surprised the shy pegasus, who nodded. "Y-Yes, I know of them, but why?"

"I think you're tree might be a link to where they lay."

"E-EH?! M-My tree?" She asked surprised.

"The map shows that this tree was once the area where the elements once laid."

"T-They did?!" The pegasus gasped as she looked at the map in wonder.

"So have you seen anything like those?" asked Rainbow.

"Sorry, but no." The girl denied.

"Really? Nothing?" asked Scootaloo for clarification.

"No no no no no no no. I honestly don't know..." She answered.

As they talked, a lone parrot's feather dropped down and brushed against Fluttershy's nose.

"A-Ah...ah..." She sniffed, making both Rainbow and Scootaloo panic as they tried to get out to safety before-

"ACHOO!" her sneeze echoed around the tree.

"W-What just happened?" A dazed Twilight asked.

"That!" exclaimed Rainbow pointing at Fluttershy.

Then they saw with surprise how her hair turned from pale pink into dark purple and an aggressive look appeared on her face! Her wings also became bat-like with her canines sharp like a bat's. And her eyes became red, scaring some of them.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU!?" she yelled baring her fangs.

"F-Fluttershy, d-don't you remember us?" Twilight asked nervous.

"WHAT I REMEMBER IS THIS!" she shouted pulling out a shotgun.

That caused a look of pure fear to appear on everyone's faces as Rainbow nervously got in front of the now mad pegasus and said "C-Calm down Flutterbat, I-It's me, Rainbow Dash!"

"Rainbow? Oh yeah, I remember you." nodded Flutterbat.

That made her and the others sigh in relief.

"YOU TOOK MY UNDERWEAR!" she screamed before taking aim and firing at Rainbow.

"I'M SORRY! I THOUGHT YOU FORGAVE ME FOR THAT YEARS AGO!" Screamed the panicked pegasus as she 'danced' around the bullets.

"WELL WRONG AS TARTARUS!" screamed Flutterbat who didn't stop blasting at Rainbow.

"C-Can't you please calm down, F-Flutterbat?" Asked a nervous Scootaloo.

"UP YOURS!" she screamed pulling out a six bullet revolver before shooting at the orange Pegasus.

"WAAAAAAAAAH!" She screamed as she now 'danced' alongside Rainbow.

Shining snuck up behind her and tried grabbing Flutterbat in a choke hold. Bad mistake. Because then Flutterbat hit his stomach with the end of the weapon before kicking him where the sun doesn't shine!

His mouth was open in a silent scream as he fell to his knees before falling on his face.

(Desert Road)

Spike suddenly shivered as he felt a disturbance in the force, and also felt like crying for a fellow man, which was mirrored by the Diamond Dogs, much to the girl's' confusion.

(Treehouse)

Twilight tried hiding under one of the tables as Flutterbat noticed her disappearance while still shooting at the two pegasi.

"WHERE IS THE PURPLE ONE?!" She demanded.

"Which one? I don't remember a purple one." spoke Rainbow.

"A-Agreed..." Then Scootaloo could see a certain someone nearing Flutterbat from behind..

"LIARS!" she yelled this time pulling out a chain gun. But then the shadow hit her on the back of her head, knocking her unconscious as the shadow was revealed to be an amused AJ.

"Close friend?" joked the android mare.

"You...*Pant* could say that..." Panted Rainbow in a mix of annoyance and gratitude.

Twilight crawled out as Scootaloo panted while Shining managed to barely get on his feet. "Is everyone alright?" The unicorn girl asked worried.

"Just peachy." groaned Scootaloo as AJ reached down to pick up the unconscious Fluttershy.

"So what's the deal with this gal?" The earth girl asked curious.

"She has two personalities. Whenever she sneezes, they switch places."

"I see." Twilight answered still surprised. "Since when did she start acting that way?"

"Not sure. One day she just gained Flutterbat as another personality and we tried to keep her from sneezing that much.

Twilight nodded before she went to check her brother, who barely recovered himself from the strike to his sacred place.

"So....much.....pain...." he got out.

Twilight looked at him pitifully before using her healing magic to heal him in the hurt area.

"Much better." he sighed in relief.

"Glad you're alright now, pal." Chuckled AJ in amusement.

"But now what? If the elements aren't here, where are they?" frowned Rainbow.

(Town Ruins)

We find ourselves where a large fire was burning. That was the scene that Spike and his new companions arrived with shock and some horror...except Chrysalis, who looked somewhat surprised.

"What is this place?" asked Sweetie in a scared tone as she hid behind Rarity.

"A town...or what remains of it..." Chrysalis said in a sudden serious tone.

"What could have caused this?" muttered Rarity looking around at the rubble.

"I don't know...but I feel quite the murderous presence near..." Said Spike with a frown.

The group slowly went further as they saw a figure under one of the pieces of rubble.

"Who is that there?!" Questioned Rarity in surprise.

Spike ran over and lifted the rubble off him as the figure was in a dark robe. "Are you alright?!" He asked as the robe fell, revealing a purple maned, gray skinned earth female pony that was barely conscious. "What happened here?!"

"W-We were just.....trying to survive...." she groaned out.

"What do you mean, dear?!" Rarity asked as she quickly took the girl and used healing magic to heal her wounds, which barely seemed to work.

"T-To......live...." she got out before closing her eyes as she went limp.

"Is she alright?!" Asked Spike in panic.

"She's gone." spoke Rarity with a solemn tone.

That caused him and the others to lower their heads in mourning and offer a quick blessing for the souls of those that died.

"We keep moving." ordered Chrysalis. That made Spike look at her surprised, to which she answered "We need to make sure if there are more survivors and that whatever brought this much destruction is around or not..."

He hesitantly nodded. And with that, they kept looking around the place until they saw a figure near the border of the burned town. They stood there with their backs to the group.

"Hey! What are you doing there?!" Spike called, which made the figure turn around and reveal herself.

It was a mare with pink fur and darker pink mane and tail that were flat and straight. She wore a purple bandanna across her breasts, barely hiding them. On her legs was a pair of white baggy shorts with black gauntlets on her forearms. Both had yellow lining across the edges along with the black belt she had on top of her shorts.

Spike blushed a bit at the sight before him before he shook it off as he sensed the girl's killer instinct, which was quite scary.

"Do we blow her up?" asked Rover to Chrysalis.

"Not yet, she hasn't done anything to us yet." Said Chrysalis. "But still be on your guard."

The Diamond Dogs got ready as the female started walking towards them.

"Did you do all this?" Chrysalis asked seriously.

"Yes."

"Why?!" Spike yelled in shock as he subconsciously prepared to fight.

"They wanted a weapon. So I showed them my power."

"Why you-!" Growled Spike as he was surrounded by flames before he shot himself forward to the pink haired girl, who did the same with a mad grin and a pink aura surrounding her.

Both of them met and caused a shockwave as the camera darkened.

chapter 10

Shining's group were still at Fluttershy's cottage with said pegasi resting on the couch.

"Man, this never happened in training." Shining hissed still feeling the effects of Fluttershy's low blow.

"Just walk it off. I didn't hear any pop." remarked Rainbow with a casual wave of her hand.

"How would you know? Less you're more manish than you let on." grinned AJ.

Rainbow gritted her teeth and stomped over before Twilight intervened.

"Stop it! We need to focus and find the elements!" she shouted looking at both mares.

"She's right. If not, we're all doomed." spoke Scootaloo.

"Well where do we even look! This tree is nothing but a dead end." growled Rainbow.

"I just don't get it. The radar said this should lead be the place." spoke Twilight who groaned.

"Does it say where we go to next?" asked AJ.

Twilight pulled out the radar and pressed the button and saw four signs in the tree. "It says there are four right here, but has anyone see anything odd?"

"Nope." AJ shook her head.

"Ah ah." Scootaloo shrugged.

"Maybe it's busted." Rainbow grabbed it and tried shaking it.

"Don't!" Twilight snatched it back. "Without this we won't be able to find any of them!"

That's when they heard the radar beeping. Twilight looked down and gasped.

"What is it?" asked Scootaloo.

"It's picking up two more signatures. They're both in the same area a couple miles away from here."

"Wait, if that thing is picking up the elements here, shouldn't we try searching harder?" spoke Rainbow.

"Maybe, but unless we know what they look like, we might be grasping at straws. Maybe a few of us should head here and see what they can find."

"Count me in." spoke Rainbow. "I need to stretch my wings."

"Can I come?" asked Scootaloo.

"Sure."

"I guess the rest of us stay here?" asked AJ.

"Yes." nodded Twilight who looked at the radar. "Fly northwest from here for about 10 miles."

"Gotcha." both pegasi walked out before flaring their auras and taking to the sky.

"Think they'll find 'em?" asked AJ.

"I hope, and I really hope no one saw the guard send a distress blast."

"No problem. If anyone comes by, I'll deal with them." grinned AJ.

(With Spike)

Said dragon flew through the air and crashed into a ruined and burning home.

"Damn. She's tough." he groaned pushing the rubble off and cracked his neck.

"Thank you." came her voice directly above him. He jumped back and saw she was floating upside with her arms crossed. "Usually the others would snap from a punch like that."

"Well I'm not them." he growled with his arms up.

"So true. In fact, I might be finding a new playmate." she gave a sick grin before turning herself right side up.

Spike flared his aura up just as the mare shot herself at him with a grin. He crossed his arms and blocked her punch before unfolding them and grabbing her arm before swinging her down and slamming her against the ground.

He brought his left hand up and swung it down towards her face, but she grabbed it with her other hand even while on her back.

"Boring." she grinned while keeping hold of his arm as she calmly stood back up.

Spike couldn't pull his arm from the tight grip she had on his arm and his widened as her leg literally stretched out.

"Bye bye." the foot came back at amazing speeds before it slammed into Spike, who didn't get sent flying since she still didn't let go, causing him to gasp out from the impact and struggle to stay standing as she pulled him closer before slamming her knee against his gut, making him gasp for air as she finally let go, watching him fall on his knees while struggling to breath.

She lost her smile and held a palm out as a ball of ki started forming and slowly got bigger.

"We have to stop her!" cried Rarity who moved to go over before Chrysalis put a hand on her shoulder.

"No Rarity, we'll only get in the way."

"B-but Milady..."

"This is his fight, so no buts."

And so, a reluctant Rarity had to see how her new friend fight against a crazy mass murderer.

Spike ducked while the girl tried for a left punch before he swung and landed a solid blow to her gut. That caused the pink girl to squeal from both pain...and pleasure?

"Ahhh!" she went flying back before righting herself and smirked at him. Something about that smirk, however, made Spike shiver ominously. "Not bad, but take this!" she opened her mouth before a pink ki blast shot out.

"WOAH!" Cried out Spike as he sidestepped the blast, "Almost got me..."

"Peek a boo!" she called behind him before slamming her knee into his back.

"AAAAGH!" He groaned out in pain before back-flipping in the right position and avoided her following barrage of punches! 'Damn it! It's like she's not feeling anything from my attacks!' Spike thought before punching her in the face, sending her flying as she laughed despite the pain. 'Nevermind, she DOES feel pain...but she ENJOYS IT?!'

"Hahaha! This is fun!" she laughed before crashing into a building. "A LOT!"

"How is this FUN?!" He gaped in disbelief. "You keep laughing and are enjoying all this. Aren't you in the least bit angry?"

"Nope~!" She swiftly answered amused. She held up two pink orbs and chucked them at the dragon.

Spike quickly jumped over them as he shot his right arm for a forward strike at his opponent.

She ducked and slammed her knee into his gut.

Spike flinched but then smirked as it was revealed that he caught his opponent's leg with his arms before he began to spin around in circles while holding her leg!

"What the-hey! Let go!" she called out, surprised at the move.

"Nope!" He cried out as he continued to spin them both until the pink pony's face began to get green.

"Hmm, seems she can get sick." smirked Chrysalis. "Let's hope she doesn't vomit towards us."

"I-I think...I-I'm gonna...URK!" Mumbled the now nauseous girl before-

*BLEEERGH!*

Spike let go as the flying girl and her puke trailed off into the nearby forest.

"EEEEEEEEEEEEEEW!" Cried out all girls in disgust as the guys winced in pity.

"Well, I enjoyed that!" laughed Chrysalis.

"I did not." Scowled Rarity in disgust.

Spike panted and wiped his brow. 'Thank god, I thought she'd never go down."

"Eh...Spike?" Called out Sweetie suddenly, making him look at the now nervous girl as she pointed to where his opponent was, "I-I think it's far from over."

"Wait, what?" he blinked turning to the forest. There he saw how, slowly but surely, his opponent was rising as her formerly purple-pink aura change to a purple-red color and increased in size! "Oh....I see your point."

"I'd say that it was a pleasure knowing the brat." Deadpanned one of the Diamond Dogs.

"Quiet you, he's still breathing." spoke Chrysalis in a firm tone.

"I hope he can win." Sweetie Belle said worried.

The mare cracked her neck while glaring at Spike who tried to take his fighting stance.

'I hope the others are having better luck than I am right now...' He thought nervously.

(With the others)

"Damn E-rank Luck of mine." Mumbled an annoyed Rainbow as she, AJ and Scootaloo were travelling to the place where the remaining 2 elements were located.

"What was that?" asked Applejack.

"How long until we get to the elements?" She quickly asked back.

"Just a few more minutes."

Scootaloo meanwhile could only sigh as she saw her sister in all but blood discuss with the android. 'I hope I can help a lot on this mission.'

With that thought, the young pegasus continued her journey alongside her idol and their new ally.

"Alright, the next gem should be coming." spoke Rainbow. "Try not to lag behind." she smirked at AJ.

"I should say the same to you." Chuckled back the earth android.

Soon they started descending down the ground. Looking around, they could see the ruins of the city where the remaining elements were supposed to be in.

"That's weird." remarked Applejack.

"Who or what could have done such thing?" Mumbled horrified the youngest of the trio.

"This place isn't that old. Wonder what caused this." remarked Rainbow. Soon after she said that, a giant *BOOOOOOOOOM!* was heard as they turned their heads to see a mushroom cloud near their location!

"Looks like we got ourselves company." frowned AJ.

"And very strong too." Mumbled Rainbow as she activated her scooter...only for it to suddenly deactivate as cracks formed in it from the sudden power! "Oh Shit!"

Seeing the scouter break made Scootaloo gulp before they saw an explosion. "W-What do you think it's causing the explosion?" Asked the nervous young pegasus.

"A fight." smirked Rainbow tossing her scouter to the side.

"Between who?" Asked AJ curious and excited.

"Who cares?" Rainbow powered up before flying towards the area.

"I do if we want to survive." Deadpanned AJ before following her reckless ally.

Scootaloo gulped before shaking her head and followed.

(With Spike and Pinkamena)

Spike went skidding against the ground while making a trail and groaned in pain. 'Ah crap baskets!' He cursed mentally while taking off his ruined jacket, showing his sleeveless black t-shirt that showed off his muscled stomach. "This sucks, I just got healed up too." With that, he glanced weakly at the now pissed off and laughing pink opponent...from whom he never got her name now that he thought about it. "Hey, before we keep going, what's your name anyway?"

"...Pinkamena." She answered simply, yet Spike shivered at the darkness in her voice. "And you?"

"Spike."

"Good, now I'll know what to put on your tombstone."

'Celestia Damnit!' Cursed the poor dragon as he was forced to evade multiple energy bolts shooting from Pinkamena's arms!

Pinkamena laughed before holding a bigger ki orb with two hands and hurled it at him.

"OH HELL NOES!" He cried out back as he created his own orb with both hands and threw it

Both of them clashed in the middle before Pinkamena shot a stream of energy at hers, causing both orbs to get pushed towards him and fast.

"TAKE THIS! DRAGON WAVE REVERSAL!" he called firing a large wave that was green against the orbs.

"Oh Merde!" Cursed Pinkamena as she dodged to the side, only to see the wave following her! "W-WHAT THE-?!"

Spike smirked as the wave caused a large explosion. "HA! TAKE THAT!" He gloated. That's when the three girls flew down near him. "AJ?! RAINBOW?! SCOOTALOO?!" Spike screamed in shock and surprise.

"So you're the fella blowin' holes up around here." joked Applejack.

"Don't blame me, blame her!" He said pointing out to where Pinkamena was shot.

They turned and looked up and saw Pinkamena with a massive hole in her body with her left arm gone.

"M-My arm...MY ARM!" Screamed the mad pony in apparent pain and rage. "YOU BASTARD! THIS HURTS LIKE TARTARUS!"

Spike couldn't help the chuckled he had despite the exhaustion he was in right now. "Heh...serves ya' right!"

"Y-You...YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY?!" She screamed back. "BECAUSE IT'S NOT AS FUNNY!" she stopped and smirked. "As your face." before her hole and arm regenerated in the blink of an eye.

Needless to say, calling the look on everyone's faces as 'Oh crap!' would have been a massive understatement.

"Ah, much better." she grinned rotating her arm to get any cracks out.

"B-But how?!" Gaped in disbelief Rainbow Dash.

"That shoulda killed her." spoke Applejack with wide eyes.

"Because Fuck you! That's why!" Insulted back Pinkamena with a smirk. "As long as I have energy, I'll keep coming back again and again!"

"Damn it." Scowled Spike.

"Then we'll blow her up till she can't reform!" spoke Rainbow. "I've been itching to see how much stronger I've gotten."

"Agreed, partner." Said AJ preparing herself to fight.

"I'm in too." spoke Scootaloo.

"Thanks girls." Spike said with a grin as he got up.

That's when Pinkamena landed and laughed. "HA HA HA HA! You're fun!" She suddenly declared to the purple dragon.

"Um....thanks?"

"Still it's not gonna stop me from making you suffer your punishment~!" she sang before pulling her fists back and shot them into the ground.

"Oh shi-!" he cried before her hands popped out and grabbed his ankles before pulling him under the ground. "DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN IIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!" He cursed out-loud as he was dragged below.

"Let go of him!" called Applejack flying at Pinkamena and slammed her fist against her face. That caused Pinkamena's head to stretch out of her body alongside her neck like she was made of gum while still holding Spike! "What in tarnation?!"

"Peek-a-boo~!" Sang Pinkamena upon her head returning to normal before headbutting AJ and smashing the now rising Spike into her!

Both went flying back while Rainbow and Scootaloo flew up and started firing energy blasts at Pinkamena from both sides. The pink pony merely shifted her body in many ways while casually dodging the blasts, as if to mock them even more!
"Hold still!"

"Nope~!" she sang before chucking a ki blast at Rainbow. Said blast was hit by another one from Scootaloo, which caused both attacks to explode and allow Rainbow to fall back.

"This is pissing me off." Shouted a pissed off Rainbow as her power began increasing, obviously preparing herself for a final attack in order to reduce her opponent to rubble! "I'll blow you off the face of this planet!"

"WAIT RAINBOW DASH! YOU COULD DESTROY THE PLANET IF YOU'RE NOT CAREFUL!" Cried out a terrified Scootaloo while checking over Spike and AJ.

"I'll make sure she can't put herself back after this!"

"Woah! Calm down, Rainbow! Is your pride truly that much to the point of blowing up the world?!" Gaped Spike in disbelief.

"I don't think she's listening." spoke Applejack.

"Celestia Damn It!" Cursed out the dragon.

(With Chrysalis' Group)

"Mistress we need to help them!" spoke Rarity.

"And why should we?" Asked a now curious Chrysalis as she saw the new arrivals.

"Because that girl is too much for them and they could die!" Cried out the now worried unicorn lady.

"Well this is a good way to see just how they work together and how strong they are together." Chrysalis answered back.

Rarity frowned and clenched her hands while watching the battle.

"Don't worry big sister! Spike and the others will win!" Assured Sweetie Belle, confident in her new friend! 'I hope so at least.'

(With Spike and CO)

"This...sucks." groaned Rainbow.

"Tell me 'bout it." Deadpanned AJ.

Pinkamena laughed while all four of them were panting.

"Just how strong is this crazy chick?!" Gasped Spike.

"I don't know, but like Rainbow Dash said, if we can damage her enough, maybe she won't reform." spoke Scootaloo.

"Like what? Reduce her into smoke? Ashes?" Spike asked sarcastically.

"Sounds perfect to me." spoke Rainbow.

"What makes you think that she will just stay there and take it?" AJ pointed out.

"She's practically telling us to go ahead and try it."

With that said by Rainbow, the mentioned put her hands together and began to charge a purple sphere on her hands.

"Hahaha! What's that?" laughed the pink mare.

"Your death!" Screamed Rainbow as Scootaloo followed with her own version of Rainbow's newest attack.

Spike and Applejack stood next to each other and started gathering energy into their hands.

"Oh my~! What's this~?"

They held their hands out and fired the blasts together. The four blasts went at Pinkamena who tried stretching away, but found her body wouldn't respond.

"Oh...crap baskets!" She cursed before-

*BBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM!*

She was blown to bits with her head and upper half flying back.

"HA! TAKE THAT!" Laughed Rainbow tiredly.

"W-What? I can't be out of power already." spoke Pinkamena in shock.

'Out of power?' Thought AJ as Rainbow continued to laugh while Scootaloo and Spike cheered tiredly.

Pinkamena glared at Rainbow and tried getting her body to reform. Yet her regeneration was way too slow when compared to her usual self.

"Nope, not today." spoke Applejack walking over with her hand charging up a blast. "We'll blow you away before you patch yourself up."

"N-NO! I REFUSE TO BE KILLED! NOT AFTER ALL I WENT THROUGH!" Screamed back the now scared pink mare.

"Sorry, mercy ain't my thing right now." AJ dryly stated.

The others watched while Spike noticed the clear fear in Pinkamena's eyes. Then he remembered that female pony's words about "being free"... "Wait AJ!"

Spike's shout got her attention alongside everyone else.

"Don't do it."

"Why shouldn't I?"

"Because, while I'm not sure entirely, but I think she should stay alive."

"And why should she?!" Rainbow shouted back angrily. "No offense Spike, but did you forget that the pink hair blob WAS TRYING TO KILL US?!"

"I know that! But look in her eyes!"

"What should I look...at?" she turned and stared into Pinkamena's frightened eyes. "Damn it...fine."

"But Rainbow-" spoke Scootaloo.

"No buts, scoots!"

"Then what do we do with her?" asked Applejack.

Before anyone could answer her, Pinkamena finished regenerating and touched the ground...only to faint head first into the earth from exhaustion!

"Now should we blow her up?"

"No AJ...just don't..."

Applejack sighed and lowered her arm to her side.

"Nice job!" Called out Chrysalis' voice as she and her group alongside a new cloaked figure appeared.

"What the-who are you?" frowned Rainbow with cautiousness.

"I'm Chrysalis, and these guys are my group that helped take care of your good friend Spike when he was unconscious."

"Yeah, they're real nice." spoke up Spike.

"Is that so?" Asked Rainbow curious. "And just how WELL do you know them?"

"Enough." Was all that the Changeling Queen said. "The fact is, all of you need rest, and if we don't help you, you're free to do it yourself, but then you'd leave yourselves open to ambush from who knows what. Your choice."

"She got a point." Admitted AJ. "All that fighting might have alerted the princesses, and I'm in no shape to take them on, at least not yet."

"That's true..." Frowned Spike. "Still how are the others?"

"We'll live." groaned Scootaloo.

"I meant Sensei and the other girls."

"Oh! Well last time we saw them they were doing just fine." Answered Scootaloo, being helped by Sweetie Belle.

"Then let's go and find them before someone else finds them." Said the Dragon.

The large group made their way back into the forest for cover.

(With Twilight and CO)

"This is crazy, now the radar says the element is gone." Twilight yelled in disbelief.

"Well maybe that's a sign the girls found it." Shining Armor said.

"But we haven't gotten our hands on one and if we can't find them all then we're doomed!" Cried out the panicked unicorn. "I mean, what if they were captured? What if they got lost? Or trapped in a cavern? Or even died?!"

The more she talked, the more her appearance changed and looked more unhinged.

"Easy there Twily, I'm sure we'll see them soon and they can tell us what happened." Her BFBBF quickly told her, hoping to avoid another Zero episode.

She took several deep breaths before fixing her hair. "Y-yeah, you're right."

"M-M-Maybe we should stay here." spoke Fluttershy.

"Still, we need to make sure they're safe!" Twilight said.

"I agree. We'll head out and take it easy just in case we run into trouble." spoke Shining Armor.

"A-Alright." Said the resigned pegasus.

(With the Princesses)

Both hovered over the conquered city while waiting for the squad of soldiers they sent out to come back and report.

"So how is the search coming along?" Asked an eager Nightmare Moon.

"So far those fools haven't returned." frowned Solar Flare.

"Damn it, you can't find good help these days." Mumbled out the disappointed princess. "At this point one of us will have to go and check."

"A damn shame indeed..." Then a torch appeared on Solar Flare's head, making her grin. "That's not a bad idea."

"Eh?"

"If one of us went we could get it done much faster."

"Bah, I say we send the more elite members to fix the problem."

"Well, about that." That made the now curious Moon Princess look at her sister. "I have an idea."

"What is it?"

With a grin, Solar Flare told her sister her plan and how effective it could be.

"Hmm, even better. Those two will fix the problem without breaking a sweat." Said the now happy mare.

Both snapped their fingers before two figures flew up to their sides almost instantly.

"Yes, my princess?" Asked both figures, their voices revealing them to be females as well.

"Go out into the Everfree Forest and find out if there's anyone trying to undermine our authority."

"As you wish!" they saluted before flying off.

"Fufufu, how amusing that they fake being so loyal, no~?" Mock asked Nightmare amused.

"Don't worry, we'll let them play for now, and then crush them like the bugs they are." Reassured the sun princess.

"Fair point, and when it comes, I call first fight." laughed Nightmare Moon.

"As you wish then."
