Today was not the greatest day of my life, but if I told you what was happening now, you wouldn't believe me. Let's start from the very beginning of this journey. I had just finished a big speech and decided to run home. I considered it because it was some good exercise. As I was running home, I saw something poke its head out of the tress. I though nothing of it, animals are fairly common where I live. Unfortunately it was heading straight for me, I tried my best to turn and avoid it, but it was too late. We collided with a loud smack as we both flew onto the hard concrete." Ughhh!" I groaned with pain, as I got up I noticed that I had hit some strange animal. What was even more strange, was the fact that this animal proceeded to speak to me. "I'm sorry I bumped into you, are you ok?" I was in shock "Um...you can talk?" "Yes... you can speak Equestrian too?" Fluttershy asked me. "I speak English, what is this Equestrian?" I asked. "It's... what you're speaking right now." Fluttershy answered. "I see, what is your name strange animal?" I asked. " I'm f...fluttershy." Fluttershy said quietly. "I'm sorry, what was that?" I asked, this time leaning closer to her. "...I'm fluttershy." "Oh, nice to meet you Fluttershy." I said. what type of weird name is Fluttershy? I wondered. "So, where are you from Fluttershy?" "I'm from Equestria." "What is Equestria like?" "Oh, its a land where ponies, griffons, and other animals live." "Do you have a ruler or some form of government?" "We... we have two princesses." "Interesting." I saw Fluttershy fidget. "I... don't mean to trouble you... but can I stay with you?" Fluttershy asked. "I don't think so... I." I saw her eyes get wide and I knew I would crack from the adorableness. "Fine, you can stay with me." "oh, thank you!" Fluttershy said giving me a death hug. "ahh... can't breathe." "Oh...sorry." Fluttershy said, letting me go. "It's ok, mistakes happen." I said. "Let's go to your new home then." I said. "Ok." Fluttershy said as she followed me. I walked up to my front door and unlocked it. "Welcome to your new home." I said gesturing to my house. "Oh..my, your house is so big." Fluttershy said in amazement. "Thanks" I said with some confusion. "Are homes where you come from not that big?" "Oh yes, the homes in this world are much larger." "Well..make yourself at home." I say with a smile. "thank you... I hope I'm not causing you too much trouble by staying." Fluttershy said with a remorseful look on her face. "It's ok, my parents are out of town." I said. "Are you hungry?" I ask Fluttershy. "Oh no... I- I don't want to impose." Fluttershy said. "Its ok, what would you like to eat?" I ask. "Can I have a salad?" Fluttershy asked. "Coming right up." I say with enthusiasm. I put some lettuce in a small bowl and chop up some tomatoes. I then use some salsa and spread it over the mixture. Finally, I add some croutons to finish the salad. I give Fluttershy the bowl. She eats it then she says "It's good." "Thank you, I'm no world class chief but I'm glad you enjoyed it." Fluttershy yawns, I ask "Are you tired?" "Yeah." Fluttershy says. "Well, I only have one bed, so I'll let you use it." "Thank you, but... where will you sleep?" Fluttershy asks concerned. "Don't worry about me, I have the couch." I say with a smile. "Ok, I'll...go to bed now then." Fluttershy says. "Good night." I say. "Goodnight." Fluttershy says as she heads upstairs to my bed. I crash on the couch exhausted from today's events.
