Spike and Twilight have always been close but lately they've been spending more time together and Twilight speaks to him with more warmth in her voice. Few could have imagined the depth of love that had grown between them.

With Applejack at the Canterlot Rodeo, Rarity assisting Coco Pommel in Manehatten, Pinkie and Rainbow Dash visiting a Wonderbolts show in Las Pegasus and Fluttershy giving a lecture (to Twilight's slight jealousy) at the Canterlot University's natural sciences department, the unicorn and dragon are alone for the weekend. Stocked up on food, quills and parchment, there's little reason for them to go out.
