When Button Mash arrives as the new kid in Ponyville Middle School, he instantly fits in. He's nice, funny, amazing at video games, and just overall friendly. He's always joking around and hanging out with his friends like he doesn't have a care in the world. He also sits next to Sweetie Belle every day in class, and naturally the two begin to talk to one another, developing a strange relationship. But one day, a note is pushed onto Sweetie Belle's desk, and she starts to figure out who Button really is. They end up telling each other secrets they wouldn't dare to tell anyone else.
It turns out they have a lot more in common than they thought.
