//-------------------------------------------------------// Goodness is Magic -by Fullmoonrose- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// The beginning of Sweet //-------------------------------------------------------// The beginning of Sweet Goodness is Magic (part 1) After the defeat of Nightmare Moon by the Elements of Harmony a few years ago,  a new evil has arrived.  The new evil has been called "Midnight Rhyme".  There is no telling when she will arrive and begin her destruction on all of Equestria."Whoa, that's a lot of information of what may happen", said Sweet Candy. Sweet Candy was a young alicorn that was in Princess Sunny Sunset's castle, reading one of Equestria's history books. "I wonder if this truth, but it is in the history book, so it must be truth", said Sweet. Sweet Candy walk through the castle to go and see Princess Sunny to ask her, herself.  It was an celebration today, called the Summer Sun to celebrate Princess Sunny Sunset and Queen Celestia on what they had did for Equestria. There were so many ponies working to get the celebration going. "Wow, so many ponies, oh well it is an important celebration today after all" said Sweet. "I know I can't talk to the queen right now, but I can still talk to the princess". Sweet Candy walk over to where the guards were at guarding Princess Sunny's room. "Hello guards can I talk to Princess Sunny for a while?" said Sweet. "Princess Sunny Sunset is busy right now preparing for the celebration today, we will assume that you will go and get ready as well." said the guards. “Okay then, I’ll try again later” said Sweet. As soon as Sweet Candy turn around, she heard a voice that she had knew. "Excuse me for a second, guards can you let her in for me? said Princess Sunny. Sweet Candy was happy to see that it was the princess. "Oh, yes a course, your highest." said the guards, letting Sweet Candy into the princess’s room. "Princess Sunny, I am so glad to see you." said Sweet. "Sweet Candy, you are one of my sweetest ponies ever, what lets you in? said Sunny. "I'm here to ask you a question about Midnight Rhyme." said Sweet. "I would love to tell you, but in exchange for some of your candy."  said Sunny.  Sweet Candy use her magic to bring in some of her homemade candy to Sunny.  Sunny using her magic brought a book over while chewing some of the candy. "Princess, I already read what was in the history book." said Sweet. "Oh, then you think that I may have another answer to your question!". said Sunny in an anger tone.  "Oh no, it isn't like that your highest!" said Sweet. "Oh, sorry your candy is so good, and I have being in so much stress over this celebration." said Sunny. "I just feel that this celebration should just be... said Sunny when all of a sudden there was a mysterious sound or better yet music coming from around the castle. "Over with." said Sunny. "Where is that music coming from?"  "It sound like it's coming from the center of the caste, princess." said Sweet. The princess and Sweet Candy ran to the center of the castle where all of the other ponies were at. The queen came out to see that everypony including her daughter were wondering where the music was coming from.  "Whoever it is, show yourself!" said Queen Celestia. Soon, a darkness wave of musical notes came around and a revealed a pony. The pony was an alicorn, but older like Princess Sunny Sunset size and age. She was purple, with black hair covered with spiders and their webs. She had a music note over a quarter moon as a cutie mark. "I am Midnight Rhyme, and I am here to bring destruction and music over Equestria." said Midnight. "I don't care leave now, or I will have to deal with you myself!" said Celestia.  "I wish not to fight you now, but later on, when the time is right." said Midnight. "Then what do you want then? " said Sunny. "Sunny, stay out of it, I agree with you, but still, Midnight what do you want?" said Celestia. "All I want is Equestria and for everyone to hear my music." said Midnight. "We can do the music, but not Equestria." said Celestia.  "Then I will return later to bring my vengeance, goodbye." said Midnight as she disappeared through the music notes.  "Sunny, Sweet Candy come with me. "said Celestia. Sweet Candy and Princess Sunny went with Queen Celestia to her room. "Sweet Candy, I have a very important mission to do for me." said Celestia. After the appearance of Midnight Rhythm, during the making of the Summer Sun Celebration. And threatening with her music of destruction, Queen Celestia decided it is time to do something (mostly make Sweet Candy do it instead). Queen, Princess, and Sweet went to the queen’s throne room, to talk about what had just happen. “So what are we going to do mom?, we need to find her, and and punish her.” said Sunny. “Wait, just a minute, Sunny, first we need to figure out who we are dealing with first.” said Celestia. “We’re dealing with an alicorn named Midnight Rhythm.” said Sweet. “Who is she so, that we can punish her?” said Sunny angrily. “Calm down Sunny,  I think I know who she is.” said Celestia. “Who is she?” said Sweet. “Midnight Rhythm is my sister Luna’s daughter.” said Celestia. “WHAT???!!!” said Sweet and Sunny. “Her name originally is Sky Rhyme, but she seems to be under an evil power that my sister use to have.” said Celestia. “What power is that, and why does the book that I read told of this happening? said Sweet. “First, that power is called Nightmarish, and it has the power to posses anybody and make them evil, along with making them stronger.” said Celestia. “Second, that power use to posses my sister and made her into Nightmare Moon, it came when she and I had a fight, and it changed her.” said Celestia. “Third, I believe that Sunny can tell you why about the book.” said Celestia. “You just get to point, without stopping don’t you mom?” said Sunny. “Yes, now tell her what happen between you and Sky.” said Celestia. “Okay, me and Sky use to be friends, scratch that, best friends. We use to everything together until our moms decided to do something to improve our powers.” said Sunny. “Our moms decided that we could try to control the sun and the moon for a day, to see how we would like it when we become queens. So, I had to bring in the sun first, and see the looks of ponies waking up and enjoying the sun. It was a wonderful experience!” said Sunny. “So, what happen that made you guys fight?” said Sweet. “When it was her turn to bring in the night, she enjoy only a little bit of seeing the ponies enjoy the night, but was disappointed when she saw them fall asleep. So, she got really angry about it, I tried to calm her down, but it didn’t work. She end up saying that I will only get the attention, while she will get zero. I told her no, the ponies in ponyville enjoy her. She said only in a few hours after falling asleep. After that she flew away saying that we are no longer friends. I hadn’t seen or heard from her again.” said Sunny. “But I still do not believe that alicorn is my friend.” said Sunny sadly. //-------------------------------------------------------// Seeing Daylight //-------------------------------------------------------// Seeing Daylight Goodness is Magic (Part 2) section: 1 (Seeing Daylight) After the event of Midnight Rhythm’s appearance, Queen Celestia talked to her daughter, princess Sunny Sunset and her apprentice, Sweet Candy about the past, and the relationship of an old friend. “That’s a very sad story.” said Sweet with tears in her eyes.  “Don’t worry, I’m going to be okay.” said Sunny. “So, my queen, have you ask your sister if she knows anything?” said Sweet. “Unfortunately, not yet, but I will after you do something for me.” said Celestia. “What is it?” said Sweet. “I need you to go and find someone very important to me, and bring her here.” said Celestia. “Oh, please you don’t mean her, mom, we don’t need her here!” said Sunny. “Who’s her?” said Sweet.  “I have another daughter, named Daytime Sun.” said Celestia. “Another daughter, I never heard of her!!” said Sweet. “She used to be my younger sister who do fun things with me, but then she started getting mad about being royal.” said Sunny. “She is still your sister, Sunny, you know that.” said Celestia. “What happen to her?” said Sweet. “She got sick of the rich and royal life, you know being pampered, and taken care of, without doing anything. So, she decided to leave the castle, and go live in Ponyville, to have a better life of doing things her way.” said Celestia. “So, where in Ponyville can I find her?” said Sweet. “I’m not sure where, but I’m sending you down there to go get her, I assume that you know Ponyville?” said Celestia. “Yes, a course, your majesty, I will go down there and get your daughter for you, I shall return.” said Sweet leaving off. “Goodbye, Sweet.” said Celestia. “And good luck, you’ll need it.” said Sunny. “Bye, Bye.” said Sweet as Celestia look at her daughter as her daughter was saying “What?”. Sweet Candy flew from canterlot to Ponyville in a short time by using her wings. “I wonder where she could be, the queen didn’t tell me what she look like, maybe I’ll ask around to see if anyone heard or seen her anywhere.” said Sweet. Meanwhile, a filly flew behind Sweet, and thought “I love how everything is going, I wonder what this young alicorn is going to do.”All of a sudden, Sweet felt that someone was behind her, and looked and saw that it was no one. “I thought someone was behind me, just now, I guess I must had be imagining things. Oh well, I have a duty to do.” said Sweet. The filly reappear from her spot, “I need to improve my invisibility spell more.” and flew towards Ponyville. Sweet Candy had finally arrive in Ponyville, straight into the town’s square. “Ah, Ponyville, it hasn’t changed that much even having a princess live here. All of a sudden, a familiar pink pony bump into Sweet. “Hello, Sweet, it nice to see you sweet self back here.” said Pinkie. “Oh, Pinkie Pie, I should had knew that I might see you.” said Sweet. Pinkie Pie picked up the mare, and said “You also know what this mean?” said Pinkie. “Oh no, a party.” said Sweet in a nervously. “Yes, a party, you wait here and I will get it ready.” said Pinkie. Pinkie Pie quickly ran into Sugarcube Corner to prepare. “Let me go somewhere else, before she comes back.” said Sweet running away. Out of breath, Sweet Candy had somehow ended in Sweet Apple Acres. “I don’t know how I got here, but I can ask the element of honesty, while I’m here.” said Sweet. While Sweet was walking into the acres, the mysterious filly appear again. “So, the yummy apple of truth is going to help, I can’t wait to see the show, let me get some apples to eat with.” said the filly laughing. “But first, I need to get closer, without being seen, brother, I need you to switched your horn with my wings.” the filly said telepathed. “What do you plan on using the horn for, it isn’t for getting into trouble I hope.” said the brother. “No, I’m just curious to see what the queen’s pupil is doing away from her castle.” said the sister. “The queen’s pupil is probably making sure that everything is alright with the Summer Sun Celebration that is happening today.” said the brother. “ “But, didn’t you heard about what has happen the last few minutes ago in Canterlot?” said the sister. “Yes, I heard that there was another alicorn who wanted to use music as a weapon of destruction and control Equestria. “ said the brother. “Don’t you want to figure out a way to stop the alicorn, by the helping the student?” said the sister. After some thought, the brother agreed that it will be the right thing to do and both siblings use their powers to switched their horn and wings to each other. “Are you satisfied now?” said the brother. “Yes, now I be leaving now, goodbye now Thunder.” said the sister. Sweet Candy arrived at the farm, and looked around to see if anyone was there. She decided to go into the farm to see if someone was in there. “Hello, Miss Applejack, Mr. Mac, Applebloom, is anyone here?” said Sweet. A sleeping pony woke up, and her hat on, and said “Howdy-doo, Miss Sweet Candy, nice to see you again!” said Applejack. “Oh hello, Applejack, I was wondering where someone could be?” said Sweet. “Oh, Big Mac working in the back, and Applebloom hanging out with her friends.” said Applejack. “Oh, I was wondering can I get something to eat, and to also ask you if you heard of someone named Daytime Sun?” said Sweet. “By the matter I have, here she comes right now.” said Applejack pointing towards a pony coming in. The mare’s coat was a bright yellow to her sky blue mane. Her tail was braided with both yellow and blue. She was an unicorn with sky blue clothing consisting of boots, sandals, a tie, and a vest. She came up to Applejack, and look at Sweet. “Hello, Applejack, the usual please?” said Daytime. “Coming right up, Sugarcube!” said Applejack leaving into the farm. Daytime look at Sweet and wonder who she was. “Hello, who are you?” said Daytime. “I’m Sweet Candy, and you must be Daytime Sun, I’m been looking for you.” said Sweet. “What does my mom want now?”said Daytime. “Wait a minute, how you knew I was looking for you?” said Sweet. “One, I remember seeing you before, and two, I heard from other ponies what happen at the castle.” said Daytime. Before Sweet could say anything, Applejack came back with a bag of apples. “Here you are Sugarcube, your apples.” said Applejack while Daytime paid her. “Goodbye, Applejack, I will be here next week as usual.” said Daytime. “Wait a minute, come back, later Miss Applejack.” said Sweet as she was running after Daytime. As soon as Sweet caught up with Daytime, Daytime used her magic to teleport. “Shoot, now where could she be?” said Sweet flying into the sky.
