Doctor Whooves: Reality Or Fantasy

It was the start of a new day and Princess Celestia had just raised the sun. Ponyville was deserted as it was really early in the morning, the streets where completely empty, except for one street who had a population of one derpy pony trotting down it with some door keys in her hoof. She approached a building in the street with a locked door. She put the key in the keyhole and opened the door, she was open for business. Her shop name was "Muffin Manes" and it was the policy that all employees had to where a muffin in their mane, hence the name. Derpy's last adventure in the T.A.R.D.I.S was about three months ago, the last adventure she had was when Princess Twilight's crown was stolen and she went into to retrieve it, and the Doctor and Derpy followed, and in that three months, Derpy had accomplished her dream job, owning a muffin shop in Ponyville, the business was quite a success, the shop was known to make the best muffins in Equestria, she got thousands of bits everyday and she met new people and new friends who started out to be nothing but customers, the friends that she already knew stopped by everyday as well. One of her friends who stopped by everyday was also her best customer, the Doctor. Even though Derpy decided to leave the T.A.R.D.I.S to get on with her life, the Doctor still stayed in touch with her. The Doctor would be her first customer everyday to buy a muffin and to just say hello, he would come to the store seven a.m every morning. The time was six fifty nine a.m and she could see the Doctor coming over to the store in the horizon. The Doctor approached Derpy.

"Hello Derpy! One blue berry muffin please!" the Doctor smiled, holding a few bits in his hoof to pay Derpy with.

"Sure Doctor, wait a moment." Derpy replied. She reached out to the display cabinet and reached out for a blue berry muffin and gave it to the Doctor. "Here you go, Doctor, that'll be two bits." she smiled back. The Doctor passed the two bits over to Derpy and started to take huge bites out of the blueberry muffin. "So what did you do in the T.A.R.D.I.S lat night?" Derpy asked.

"I trpheled to the cotie muk nebuule." the Doctor replied, rudely with a mouth full of wet, mushed up, blueberry muffin.

"Don't talk with your mouth full! Swallow first!! Derpy laughed at the Doctor's embarrassing mistake. "What did you say?" she repeated.

The Doctor swallowed his chewed muffin and repeated what he said the first time. "Sorry, I said that I went to see the cutie mark..."

Suddenly, the Doctor and Derpy woke up on the T.A.R.D.I.S main control room floor, wondering what the hay happened to them.

"...Nebula!" the Doctor mumbled, just waking up and getting up off the floor of the T.A.R.D.I.S. "What?! Sorry, fell asleep, long night with Pinkie Pie, I took her to Manehatten and it was a long night, things happened and I was really tired." the Doctor explained.

"Ugh, why did I have to wake up? I was having a brilliant dream!" Derpy said in disappointment. "I'm going to try and remember it, at least I can still remember some of the dream fantasy."

"Oh yeah? What was it about? I'm interested in my friends dreams, I love hearing about them." the Doctor asked.

"I was doing my dream job, owning a muffin store, the store was called Muffin Manes and it was the best muffin store in Equestria, and you would come every morning to buy a muffin and say hello, you were me best customer and we would talk. For example, this time you came over and said you went to the cutie mark nebula." Derpy explained.

The Doctor looked at Derpy very suspiciously, Derpy felt a bit scared, she didn't like the way the Doctor was looking at her. "W-What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Derpy asked.

"It's just strange, I had the same dream, the exact same dream." the Doctor replied.

"How could we have the exact same dream?" Derpy asked in huge confusion.

"I don't know, Derpy. But I don't like the..." the Doctor replied before waking up again.

The Doctor and Derpy woke back up with everypony in town looking at them, snickering. Derpy looked at the clock, it was now ten o clock a.m. The Doctor and Derpy were both very confused, there was a line of ponies outside the muffin store, waiting to be served, as soon as Derpy woke up that is.

"...Idea." the Doctor mumbled on the floor again, the same way as he did on the T.A.R.D.I.S.

Derpy looked at the Doctor. "What the hay is going on?" She asked. The Doctor surged his shoulders, he was just as confused as Derpy.

"Never mind that." Derpy said, shaking the confusion and wonder out of her head. "I've got about a thousand ponies to serve." Derpy opened the shop door and let everypony in. She started to serve everypony one by one as fast as she could, the Doctor helped to make the job quicker and get rid of the storm of customers. It was about half an hour before the Doctor and Derpy cleared the room of customers, they were on their last customer of the over flow of customers, Berry Punch.

"Here you go, Berry Punch, one beer muffin, that'll be two... two... bits..." Derpy said before she dozed off and fell asleep once again. Berry Punch decided to take the muffin and leave two bits and a note.
