Doctor Whooves: Reality Or Fantasy

The Doctor and Derpy woke up slowly, with their eyes gusting to the light of the sun they were under. They had no idea what just happened, dying in a world and waking up in shock in the other world sometimes has that effect. They waited for their minds to kick in. They looked up to see the Dream Lord, standing next to the nuclear bombs with only thirty seconds left in the countdown. The Dream Lord looked at the Doctor and Derpy, smiling.

"So... You chose this world." the Dream Lord said. The Doctor and Derpy awaited an answer from the Dream Lord. "Hmm... Well done, you got it right. And with only thirty seconds left, lucky you." the Dream Lord said sarcastically. The Doctor and Derpy smiled at each other. "Lets turn these nuclear bombs off, before you die." The Dream Lord reached out to the bombs that were about to destroy the entire world and deactivated them. The Dream Lord looked at the Doctor once more. "Well done, Doctor. You have defeated me once again. As before, I shall depart... Farewell." The Dream Lord disappeared for the last time, never appearing in front of the Doctor or Derpy again.

"That was a hard one. But at least we won." Derpy smiled.

"No. No, we haven't, not yet." the Doctor replied.

"Sorry, what? But he's gone now, he said we won!" Derpy pointed out.

"Yes. Thank you for pointing that out, Derpy. But remember, I've battled him and his cheap tricks before, I know how he works. Come on, Derpy, lets get back to the T.A.R.D.I.S, and don't worry, we will win, I'll explain in the T.A.R.D.I.S." the Doctor replied.

The Doctor and Derpy ran back to the T.A.R.D.I.S as fast as they could, with out stopping. They entered the T.A.R.D.I.S and shut the blue doors. The Doctor trotted towards the T.A.R.D.I.S console.

"So, Doctor, why did you want to get here so fast?" Derpy asked.

"I thought you said you wanted to get out of the dream world as fas as you could, didn't you?" the Doctor smiled, he knew something that Derpy didn't about the Dream Lord.

"But we are. He said we won. Remember?" Derpy asked in huge confusion.

"Remember, Derpy. I know his tricks. Let me explain. The Dream Lord has no control over the real world, at all. He was actually giving us a choice between two dreams." the Doctor explained.

"But he said we won." Derpy replied.

"Yes he did, but did you notice how helpful he was? When we chose this world, he said we won and deactivated the danger, so we wouldn't die. If you die in a dream you wake up in reality, he was saving us in this dream, so we wouldn't wake up in real life. We are still in a dream world. And the more time spent in the dream world is more time spent dreaming in the real world. We end up wasting our lives living in a fake world. That's his trick. Making you live in a fake world, when you don't know it, wasting away in the real world, dreaming." the Doctor explained.

"Strange way to kill you." Derpy laughed.

"I know, but he's a strange life form." the Doctor replied.

"So what are you going to do to wake us up in the real, real world?" Derpy asked.

"I'm going to blow up the planet with the T.A.R.D.I.S." the Doctor replied.

"Um... OK." Derpy smiled.

"Hold on tight!" the Doctor smiled. The Doctor set the levers into place and was ready to press the button to blow up the T.A.R.D.I.S. "Three, Two, One!" the Doctor pressed the button. A huge ball of fire was exploding in the centre of the console and was quickly expanding to the whole T.A.R.D.I.S. The explosion reached the walls of the inside of the time machine and a huge bang was produced that could be heard lightyears away, blowing the planet up with it.

The Doctor and Derpy woke up in the actual real world. The Doctor was standing in front of the console and Derpy had just entered the main control room. "Any questions?" the Doctor asked.

"Yeah, just one. Who was the Dream Lord?" Derpy asked.

"He is a dark version of me. He has done what he did to me to thousands of others before. Some life forms know he's the dark version of me. The Dalek's tried to recruit him one time. But instead, he done what he done to us. Some life forms call him 'The Dark Doctor' or 'The Valeyard.'" the Doctor explained.

"But what so dark about you?" Derpy asked.

"I'm nine hundred years old, there was bound to be something dark in me." the Doctor replied. Derpy smiled back. "I guess it's time to send you back home now. I've got other ponies to take around time and space, but don't worry, Derpy, you'll always be my number one mare!" the Doctor smiled.

"Thank you, Doctor. I guess you're my number one time travelling pony from another universe." Derpy laughed.

The T.A.R.D.I.S landed in Ponyville and the Doctor and Derpy walked out and the Doctor locked the doors. "I Feel like having a milkshake." the Doctor said randomly.

"Yeah, same. Come on, i'll take you to Sugar Cube Corner, see if Pinkie Pie's got any special flavours on sale today." Derpy smiled.
