Countdown

Time Twister breathed heavily as she watched the chemicals boiling and evaporating. This was the moment she waited for since, well, forever. The potion was finally done. Without the help of a unicorn the planning took some work, but it was done.

"Doc! It's done! I got it!" She screamed across the TARDIS at the brown earth pony.

"Oi! Give me a moment! Don't shout!" He trotted over a room that she had converted into a lab, just to make this one potion.

"I-I got it! I can't believe I did it!" She smiled brightly and clapped her hooves. She was happier than she had been in ages.

"Does it work?"

"I think so. I just have to test it!"

"I don't think that's a great idea..."

She waved her hooves about and pulled multiple papers off the walls. "But, I should work! No room for error! And even if it doesn't work there's regeneration..."

His eyes opened wide and he jumped "Nope! You are not taking that!"

"Woah, Doc! Take a joke!" It had been years since she called him Doc. She must be extremely happy.

"Okay, fine. Just tell me if something goes wrong. I'll be in the control room." He left the room and left the mare to her experiment.

"Well, this is it." She sighed heavily. "Never thought this day would come. Finally, I can be normal." She sighed again, and slowly gulped down the potion. "Dang! That tastes disgusting!"

She gagged slightly as her head started to spin.

"W-what the h-heck? I... can't... see..." She collapsed to the ground with a thud.
