My name is John Smith. I once was like any other normal human being, work, sleep, video games, TV. All of that Changed when I was summoned to Equestria because of some spell mishap. The land is ruled by 2 Alicorn sisters, Celestia, who controls the sun, and Luna, who controls the moon. I’ve been here for about 6 months, and there is no chance of me getting home. Celestia, Luna, and Celestia’s student, Twilight Sparkle, who also had become a Alicorn recently, were looking practically 24/7 for a way to get me home, but no luck. After 4 months, they had looked through literally every single book in the entire canterlot archives, which contains every single book ever written in the entire history of Equestria, to no success. I had already accepted that I would never get back home. Celestia and Luna had made me a decent sized house in Ponyville for my troubles. It was about midnight, Luna’s moon high in the sky, and I, was having a dream.
I stood on the field of battle. How I knew that, I didn’t know, all I knew was that I was in battle. About 100 feet in front of me was a female humanoid lizard. She wore a set of black and red armor with a helmet that covered her entire face, except for her eyes, which were bright red and slitted. Strong, shapely legs, and a very nice tail. Her armor covered extremely impressive breasts and an equally impressive ass. She strode towards me, hips swaying ever so slightly. She reached me and threw her arms around me, pushing her lips on mine, giving me a passionate kiss, which I eagerly returned. We made out for what felt like hours, but most likely minutes. As we broke apart, she gave me the most loving look, which I returned. A glint of metal caught my eye and I saw a absolute beast of a man charge up behind her, steel battleaxe coming down. I pushed my lover out of the way and closed my eyes as the axe cleaved my head.
I awoke in a pool of sweat. Immediately my hands flew up to my scalp to check for any head cleavaging. Obviously, there was none, for it was just a dream. My hands fell to my sides, me breathing heavy. “What the hell was that?” I muttered to myself. There was no way I was going back to sleep after that. After a minute of calming down, I decided to go out for a walk in the moonlight. I got on a pair of jeans and a long sleeve shirt, compliments of Rarity. She gave me them for free when I first met her, going on about making clothes for a completely different species. I walked out the door into the warm summer night air, walking towards my favorite hill. As I reached it, the outline of a Alicorn mare reached my eyes. “Hey Luna.” I called, a small smile on my face.
Luna jumped as I called out, whipping around. She relaxed as she saw who it was. “Hello John, what are you doing here?” She had gotten rid of the royal we.
“Eh, had a weird dream.” I said, laying down on the ground.
“What about?” She inquired.
“Well…” I explained the dream, blushing slightly as I described my lover.
Luna was silent as I finished narrating the dream. “That wasn’t a dream, that was a vision.”
“Wait, that was a vision?! As in the future vision!? As in that will Happen!?” I exclaimed, sitting up.
Luna shook her head. “It was a prediction of what might happen, emphasis on might.”
I relaxed, “Ok, that’s good.” I laid back down on the ground, staring up at the moon, a slight frown on my face.
“I sense something else is troubling you my friend.” Luna said to me.
“Its nothing.” I said, completely unconvincingly.
“You and I both know that you are as bad a liar as then AppleJack, so don't even try.” Luna said with a smirk. “Really, what’s wrong?”
I sighed. “I’ve been feeling, lonely. Strange, I know, what with all the friends I have in Ponyville. I’ve been craving the touch of another being like me, to share in the love of another.” I sighed again. “My greatest wish right now, is just to have someone like me.” Unnoticed by either of us, the moon brightened slightly, before going back to its normal brightness. “I should try and get some sleep, big day tomorrow.” I said, getting up.
“Let me help you.” Luna said, her horn lighting up. I felt the familiar embrace of Luna’s magick induced sleep overtake me, and I fell asleep.
And woke up three hours later in my bed. My alarm clock read 3 AM. I never used the alarm, I woke up well enough enough on my own. I sat up on my bed and stretched, feeling some satisfying pops in my back. Today was a very important day, The Summer Sun Celebration. Apparently, in honor of Equestria's newest citizen, AKA me, Princess Celestia chose Ponyville for this year's Celebration. The Celebration officially started at 5 AM, but everypony else told me to get there at 3:30 to get a good spot. I got out of my bed and began to get dressed. Standing in front of the mirror, I looked at me. I was semi muscular, wore glasses, and had dark blond hair. I put on a black tee and black jeans. I put on black high tops and went to the kitchen. I grabbed a couple of apples for a snack later. I walked out the door towards the Ponyville Town Square, where a decently sized crowd had already gathered.
I spotted six of my friends, Twilight Sparkle, AppleJack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie, who were waving me over. "Hey guys." I said as I walked over.
"Hey John." Rainbow said, giving me a hoofbump.
"How are you? Sleep well?" Twilight asked me.
"Eh, had a weird dream, tell you later." I responded.
We conversed for the next hour and a half, before Princess Celestia and Princess Luna flashed into being. Everypony cheered before Celestia was able to calm them down. "Today, My little Ponies, is the second anniversary of my sister's return. But six months ago, as most of you know, Equestria had a visitor from another world. His name is John Smith, and he is a kind and loving individual." I blushed at this praise. Luna flew up into the sky, in front of the crescent moon sign that had been made. Her horn lit up and the moon started to descend. Celestia also flew up into the sky, her horn lighting up. The Sun began to rise, and right as the sun and the moon met, Twilight flew up and created a mark in the shape of her cutie mark. The sun fully up, everyone stated cheering. As Celestia and Luna were about to descend from the stage, a orb of light, about a foot in diameter, appeared in front of the crowd.
With our group right in front, we saw the orb appear and begin to grow. A strange feeling, one that I could not describe, struck me. "What's going-" I was cut off as the sphere expanded suddenly and shone as bright as the sun, causing everypony to look away. When the light finally dimmed and our vision was restored, everypony in the front 2 rows gasped, myself included.
Laying there, on the ground, totally nude and seemingly unconscious, was the Female lizard from my dream. I approached the Female, kneeling down next to her. She had many cuts and scratches on her scales, as if she was running through pricker bushes. Multiple deep gashes ran down her body, I had no Idea where she had gotten them. Those wounds were bleeding big time, and they looked like they had for some time. I placed two fingers on her neck. She still had a pulse. I picked her up, clutching her to my chest. "She needs help, I'm going to take her to the hospital!" Without waiting for a response, I ran towards the hospital.
While I was running, she shifted in my arms. "Wha? what's going on?" She muttered from my arms.
"Are you Ok?" I asked concernedly.
"N-No... Hurts, everywhere." She murmured, seeming to fall asleep again.
"Stay with me! Keep talking to me!"
"T-tired, S-sleepy." She said softly.
"Please, keep talking, focus on my voice! My name is John Smith, What's yours?"
"Deetha, Deetha Lafdesh. Nice to meet you John." She said, snuggling into my chest.
"Tell me about yourself Deetha." I said, trying to keep her talking.
"Later, after I sleep..." Her started to snore lightly, which I found extremely cute, but the situation was too dire to exact that.
I reached the hospital, everyone else already there. A stretcher awaited Deetha, which I put her on. "Will she be alright?" I asked Nurse Redheart, concern evident in my voice.
"Her wounds are deep, but she should be fine. I think you got her to us just in time." Nurse Redheart said, a slight smile on her face.
I gave her a grateful look as she walked with Deetha into the hospital. I sat down against the wall of the hospital. "Who was that female?" Celestia asked me.
"Her name Is Deetha Lafdesh, that's all I know, she woke for a minute and told me." I said, sighing. "I just hope she's OK."
"You seem to care much for her? Why is that?" Luna asked me.
"Remember that dream I told you about? She was the female from it." Seeing everypony's confused looks, I sighed and explained the dream again. "I feel some kind of, connection to her, I don't know why, but I feel responsible for her."
Everypony was silent, until Celestia spoke, "Deetha is a brand new species of creature to Equestria, and we need to learn more about her. Normally I would assign this to Twilight, but I can sense this connection, this, bond, that you speak of, so I ask you, John Smith, to learn about her and where she comes from."
I was overjoyed, though I didn't know why. "I would be honored Princess Celestia. We should probably wait inside." I said, walking inside, everypony else following me.
