Derpy looked outside through her window. Ponyville had dark clouds and other darker ones swirled above the castle. Derpy grabbed her daughter, Dinky, and hugged her. "Dinky stay down okay? Keep all the lights off but keep a candle lit just in case. I dont want them to take you away." she said a tear running down her eye. Dinky nodded and lit up a candle in the corner away from the windows. Derpy went into her basement and walked up to a chest at the end of the room. It's time for me to fight. Derpy thought opening the chest to pull out a cloak and battle armor.
She put on her armor and the cloak. Quietly, Derpy snuck out through the back door of her home. Guards in black armor where pushing other ponies around. Derpy was being careful of where she was going or else a guard would KILL her. A guard looked at Derpy and followed her into a dark alley way. "Where are you going missy! You need your execution!" the guard told Derpy as he raised his sword. Derpy flinched and blocked herself till, a shadowy figure hit the guard in the head. It was Twilight! "Follow me quickly!" she whispered and ran towards her tree house. Derpy followed inside to find the main 6 and the crusaders there.
"Everypony listen up! We need to team up on the evil King Sombra!" Derpy said taking her cloak off revealing her armor. Rainbowdash stood up straight. "Well i for one agree!" said Pinkie Pie. She looked different, her hair was straight and to the side. "Pinkamena is right and to is Derpy!" announced Twilight. Derpy stomped her hoof on the ground. "Rarity and Fluttershy go distract the guards outside. I have a plan to stop this magic. But first we need to visit Zecora. The crusaders stay here in the dark or the guards will take them!" she said turning around and looking at the guards marching outside.
Rarity and Fluttershy jumped outside. "Look at us we are making so much noise!" said Rarity as she banged two pans together. Fluttershy took a sword and started to destroy benches. All the guards started to march towards the two ponies. Rarity and Fluttershy started to fight the guards. Derpy and the others snuck away into the everfree forest. Before the two ponies fighting where out of sight they looked at them fight. Rarity was fighting for her life and a guards went to swing at her. Fluttershy couldn't defend her and Rarity caught the swing fell to the ground, blood around her. Fluttershy was in shock and didn't notice two guards charged are her and jabbed a sword through her side. The two ponies had died fighting. Twilight caught a glimpse at them and a tear ran down her eye but she continued into the everfree.
Derpy found Zecora's hut. She was inside with candles everywhere. "Hello ponies what do you come to seek?" Zecora said letting them in. Rainbow walked up to a shelf full of postions. "We need sleeping postions and Twilight got her magic taken away by King Sombra." Rainbowdash said looking through the shelf. Zecora nodded and walked towards the other shelf and got postions for the ponies. They all thanked Zecora and exited the hut.
Rainbow Dash and Twilight carried Applejack 'n Pinkamena over the skies while Derpy led the way to the Castle. They where above the clouds so the guards couldn't see them but they could see all of the things bellow them. Once they reached the castle Derpy threw sleeping postions at the guards at the gates. Instantly they fell asleep. "All of you defend the front gates and if any guards blow this horn. I'm going to give Sombra a piece of my mind!" she said as they landed she gave Applejack the blow horn.
Derpy kicked aside the sleeping guards. She entered the castle and jabbed a guard that was in front of her. There were no shadow guards. She went into the throne room but Sombra wasn't there. Derpy guessed he would be at the top with the Crystal Heart. She flew up the stairs up to the top to be facing King Sombra and the princesses in cages at the side. "Hello Derpy. I have been expecting you." the king said. His voice was as deep as quicksand. Sombra turned and faced Derpy in her battle armor. "I have come to fight you and stop this!" she yelled stomping her hoof on the ground. He laughed. The horn that Derpy gave to AppleJack blew and Derpy looked over the edge to find the girls fighting for their lives.
She faced Sombra and held an axe/sword in her hoof. "Bring it Sombra!" she said charging at him. He turned into a smokey shadow and appeared behind her with a sword. He was about to stab her but Derpy was able to block it. They both charged at each other and hit each others weapons. Derpy fell to the ground and acted like she was defeated. "Haha, your just a worthless pony! Just weak!" he yelled at her. Derpy looked at Sombra and quickly stabbed him in the chest. Black blood dripped from his chest. Derpy quickly looked at the edge. Rainbowdash and Pinkamena where defending Twilight and Applejack because they where bleeding and hurt. "Rainbowdash! Sonic Rainboom! Together!" she yelled. Rainbowdash and Derpy grabbed each others hoof and went up high into the sky. When they where high enough then both flew down fast. King Sombra limped to the edge and the princess looked at the two flying down at high speed. They both broke into a sonic boom and a Rainbow and bubbles spread across the sky. "NO!" Sombra yelled and the light and bubbles from the boom lit the Crystal heart and shined a bright light everywhere.
King Sombra dissolved and his shadow disappeared. Derpy flew back to the top and let the princesses out of the cage. After all that, they have put a ceremony for Derpy for saving Equestria and funerals for Fluttershy and Rarity. Later the next day Princess Celestia assigned Derpy to the guards of Equestria. Derpy had to deny because she was happy with her regular life.
