A D1SA5T3R-ous History: Prologue
Meet Toxic Neon, or, his stage-name alias, DJ-D1SA5T3R. He is a fantastic DJ, with his only rival being DJ-P0N3. Toxic was kind of a jerk, mainly caring about himself. He had all the money and mares he could ever want. And he was tired of it. He was a recluse. The reason he was a recluse is because he was hurt long ago, which caused him to build a wall around his heart. With every passing gig, he became more and more bitter. He had nopony to talk to about his problems, and does not believe there ever will be. He is an extremely talented unicorn, with enough magical precision to turn flowers into waffles. Why waffles? When he was a foal, his mother made him waffles. Then she died, which didn't do much to help his psyche. His heartache was worsened when he found out his father had committed suicide, and was put into an orphanage. He tried to make friends there, but was not successful. Then, one night few years later, he found her. The most beautiful mare he had ever laid eyes on. He wooed her, fawned over her, and gave her chocolates, all in attempt to win her heart. Then, he succeeded. Or so he had thought at the time. As it turns out, he was just a fling to make another colt jealous. That was the night when his heart broke. That was the night of the disaster. In the midst of his despair, he shifted. Much different than a rage-shift, this one was made of despair and pain. In a Pain-Shift, every living being around the shifter becomes wrapped in the throes of pain and despair. Not even Celestia was spared. In the midst of all this, he realized what he was doing, and quickly stopped. If there was one thing he wasn't, it was cruel. Even if it wasn't his fault, he was ran out of Canterlot. Lost, in pain, and completely miserable, he stumbled into a homeless stallion's camp. He and the stallion hit it off instantly. He found out his name was Blueblood, who had also been run out of the city. The stallion took him in, helped him, fed him, and kept him warm throughout the night. A few weeks later, the two made it to Manehatten, where they began to beg for food. Eventually, they had made enough money to afford a small apartment for a few weeks. After a few days, it seemed like the world was looking up for young Neon. Until it all came crashing down around him. The complex was robbed, and none were spared. After a brief skirmish with the Guard, all but one of them were captured. The Guard asked him to come quietly, but he refused, and promptly fired Crossbolts at them. What the Guard didn't know, however, was that they had a hostage. In response to the shots coming towards them, they returned fire. The stallion used the hostage was the shield, and it worked. For the thief, that is. The thief came out fine. The same could not be said about Blueblood. His entire body was full of lacerations, all of his legs and ribs were broke, his skull was caved in, and was bleeding internally. Needless to say, he was dead. Later, he found himself outside of a club that had a job as a song mixer, and was elated. He had a job! After a while, his reputation began to spread, and more and more ponies came to hear his mixes. After one particularly exhausting gig, a fan asked him his name. He thought for a moment, and replied, "I'm D1SA5T3R. It's what I do, and it's who I am." Word spread even faster now that he had a name, and eventually found himself with a contract with "Wither Bros. Inc." After about three years working with them, he had enough money to go rouge. He quit Time Wither and went freelancing. After another year, he leaves for Ponyville. And now, dear reader, is where our story really begins.

Chapter 1: A D1SA5T3R-ous Move
"Oi, be careful! If there is so much as a scratch on my stereo, there will be a lawsuit!" yelled Neon.
"Sure thing, Mr. Neon." said the moving-colt.
"Chop-chop! I don't have all day, you know!" he yelled.
"Of course, Mr. Neon." came the monotone reply.
After a few more hours of yelling, screaming, and the threat of lawsuits, his new house was filled with boxes of all shapes and sizes. After paying the colt for his services, Neon started opening the boxes full of his things. It took a while to open all of the boxes. As he finished opening them, he noticed that the sun was starting to set.
"Drat. Now I will have to wait until tomorrow to set everything up."
Sighing, he made his way to the kitchen to get something to eat. Though, there was a slight problem.
"It seems that after the hustle-and-bustle of today, I have forgotten to stock my cabinets. Looks like dried nut bars for dinner, then."
Later, upon finishing his meal, he came across another problem.
"Where will I sleep? That stupid moving-colt forgot to set up my bed. *sigh* Looks like the floor, again."
Sighing dejectedly once more, the ever-unhappy stallion drifted off into the world of dreams...
