"I’m Redbolt", Redbolt said while shaking rainbow dash's hoof in return of her greeting him. "I’m going to a proud member of the wonder bolts", she said with a simile on her face. "Oh yeah,", Redbolt said without looking up from his book he was reading, "what make you so sure?" "Well duh I have helped them more times than one, like this one time I saved them and one of my best friends Rarity from death. I had flown so fast to save them I had done a Sonic Rain Boom while grabbing all of them.", she said with her wings flexed out. "Now I remember you. I saw that at the best flyer competition. I was wondering what your name was. "So you have heard of me?" Rainbow Dash said with an eyebrow raised. "Rainbow Dash you're up next.", said a tall Pegasus with a microphone headset and a clipboard. "Oh I’m up next. I’ll talk to you later", she said and flew up to the door were the Pegasus was now standing to the side. Without a look up from the clipboard she said,"Good luck. You will need it." Then, she was out in the training course flying with another Pegasus who was going at the same time as Rainbow Dash but he couldn't keep up. But then finally he caught up with her. "My name is Ricky", said the gray and white Pegasus. "Hi my name is Rainbow Dash", she said looking at the Pegasus for a second. "Have you met my friend Redbolt by chance?", Asked Ricky. "Yeah, I met him. He wasn't much of a talker.", replied Rainbow Dash. "Oh, he was probably trying to focus on getting ready for his try out.", said Ricky Then both of them finished their tryout. "Can I go again", Ricky asked the Pegasus with the clipboard. "Why?" asked the Pegasus curiously. "So I can go with my friend.", Ricky explained. "What is his name?" Replied the Pegasus. "His name is Redbolt" said Ricky. A few weeks later at Redbolt's home. Derpy yelled, "i brought you a letter" She handed it to him and he noticed it was from the Wonder blots. "Thanks Derpy", said Redbolt. He gave her a muffin for the road ahead because he knew she liked them so much. Then he closed the door and opened the letter excitedly anxious to read it. Dear Redbolt, On behalf of the wonder bolts, I would like to say I'm sorry for this but we can't accept you at this time. Well, if Spitfire can have her flight group so can I. He started to smile. We will be the Shadow bolts. The outcasts and i'll be the leader. Then, he went off to find a pair of flight goggles that were different and on the way back he found the skin suit he wanted for his flight group. He went in to the shop. "Can you make me more of these suits?", asked Redbolt as he pointed to the one he was asking about. "What logo would be on it?", asked the owner. He saw another reject. Her name was Nightshade. She was the sister of Spitfire and he could not help him self to go and see what she was crying about. But he new why. "Hey Nightshade", he said to her.from the shop while the owner was getting measurements of him. "There, I'm finished", said the owner of the shop. "What is going on here?", Nightshade asked Redbolt. "Well it's a long story.", he said. "Go ahead", she coaxed. Then he told her the story and finished breathing heavy from his long winded story. "Now, we need to find a main headquarter and a training camp for us before we can do any airshows for the public.", said Redbolt in a little annoyed way. "Too bad Cloudsdale is taken by the Wonder Bolts.", said Blueball Blitz in a disappointed voice. "How about Manehattan?", asked Charger. "No remember what happened last time? "Hello?", Redbolt said into the phone. "Hay Redbolt it's me Ricky. Where are you, Redbolt? I haven't seen you around Ponyville." said Ricky. "I'm in Fillydelphia," answered Redbolt confused, "But i'll be back in a few days to pick something up." "So, why are you in Fillydelphia. I hoped you have not taken this rejection from the Wonder Bolts too seriously.", said Ricky. Suddenly Charger took the phone from Redbolt's hoof. asked charger yes i did charger go ahead and get the others so they can try on their skinsuits but remember there labeled to make sure they know who’s is who’s i’m going to pay ricky a little visit. said redbolt so he left the other shadowbolts try on their own suits while he was going to pay his friend a little visit. ponyville ricky was still shocked that his best friend was captain of the shadowbolts so he went to go get himself a drink. i still can’t believe it my friend redbolt a shadowbolt i knew i should've begged for him to have a second chance. said ricky as he took a drink from his cup then why didn’t you ricky?! said redbolt a little angered as waited for an answer from his friend redbolt?! what are you doing here i thought you wouldn’t be back for a while because you have an air show tomorrow. said ricky a little of both shocked and confused true i do have an air show tomorrow but i came here to pay you a visit just to say hi to my friend and stay a while if that's okay with you? What do you want?" "You. I sense your anger. Your passion for vengeance. I want you to become a Shadowbolt!" Quicksilver stared confusedly at Redbolt. "Uh, you can see through those goggles right? I'm just an earth pony." "Not for long." Redbolt hooves a small glass bottle filled with yellow liquid inside. Drink it, it gives you wings." The colt eyed the bottle. He thought that maybe he was an escapee from the nuthouse. So he might as well drink it to humor him. He took the bottle and slowly swallowed the potion. At first he felt nothing. "No surprise there." he thought. Then, his back started itching like crazy. Then intense pain shot through his spine. He screamed in pain as he toppled to the ground. Slowly, wings began to rip out of his back. The wings were caked with blood, as the pony staggered up. "What's your name?" asked Redbolt. "It was Quicksilver," panted the colt, "But now it's Quicksilver the Shadowbolt." AftermathChapter 9 The following events took place 72 hours before quicksilver joined the shadowbolt The next day after redbolt and rainbow dash's race in the shadowbolt's hq redbolt is having an argument with other shadowbolts. "For the last time nightshade I'm not going shopping with you guys" redbolt said in an annoyed voice. " oh come on it will be fun" nightshade said and gives redbolt a playful nudged. " no" he retorted back. " alright suit yourself mister grumpy pants" said nightshade then she flex out her wings and flew off with the others. heatbrokenchapter 1 It was a hot summer day at the wonder bolt's try outs. Redbolt was not the only Pegasus there to try out for the wonder bolts, of course. "Hi there I’m rainbow dash", said a cyan Pegasus holding out a hoof to him. "I’m Redbolt", Redbolt said while shaking rainbow dash's hoof in return of her greeting him. "I’m going to a proud member of the wonder bolts", she said with a simile on her face. "Oh yeah,", Redbolt said without looking up from his book he was reading, "what make you so sure?" "Well duh I have helped them more times than one, like this one time I saved them and one of my best friends Rarity from death. I had flown so fast to save them I had done a Sonic Rain Boom while grabbing all of them.", she said with her wings flexed out. "Now I remember you. I saw that at the best flyer competition. I was wondering what your name was. "So you have heard of me?" Rainbow Dash said with an eyebrow raised. "Rainbow Dash you're up next.", said a tall Pegasus with a microphone headset and a clipboard. "Oh I’m up next. I’ll talk to you later", she said and flew up to the door were the Pegasus was now standing to the side. Without a look up from the clipboard she said,"Good luck. You will need it." Then, she was out in the training course flying with another Pegasus who was going at the same time as Rainbow Dash but he couldn't keep up. But then finally he caught up with her. "My name is Ricky", said the gray and white Pegasus. "Hi my name is Rainbow Dash", she said looking at the Pegasus for a second. "Have you met my friend Redbolt by chance?", Asked Ricky. "Yeah, I met him. He wasn't much of a talker.", replied Rainbow Dash. "Oh, he was probably trying to focus on getting ready for his try out.", said Ricky Then both of them finished their tryout. "Can I go again", Ricky asked the Pegasus with the clipboard. "Why?" asked the Pegasus curiously. "So I can go with my friend.", Ricky explained. "What is his name?" Replied the Pegasus. "His name is Redbolt" said Ricky. "Okay, I’ll be right back", said the Pegasus. he went to go find Redbolt and ask him if that was okay. ** "Finally I thought she'd never leave.", said Redbolt going back to his book. "Um, sorry for interrupting you.", Said the Pegasus with the clipboard. "Yes?", He said to the Pegasus. "Your friend Ricky would like to go with you when you do your try out. Would you mind that?", Asked the Pegasus. "What is your name?", asked Redbolt. "Oh my name is Steve", he said. "No I want to do it alone.", Redbolt said sternly. "Okay," said Steve "I’ll tell him that right now. And by the way you're next Redbolt." "Thanks.", said Redbolt picking up his pair of flight goggles and headed out for the try outs. When he stepped out into the training room he was greeted by two friends of his. "Hello Redbolt.", said Spitfire. "Are you ready?" Asked Soarin. "Yeah ,what do I have to do?", he asked. "Fly through the training course." they said at the same time. Redbolt looked to his left and saw a training course. "This will be fun." he said as he put down his flight goggles and flexed out his wings. "Three, two, one, go!", yelled Steve with a stop watch. When Redbolt was done he asked for his time. "Five minutes", Steve said to Redbolt, "You did a lot better than your friend Ricky but not as good as Rainbow Dash." "That's okay", said Redbolt, "I was trying to beat Ricky anyways." A few weeks later at Redbolt's home. Derpy yelled, "i brought you a letter" She handed it to him and he noticed it was from the Wonder blots. "Thanks Derpy", said Redbolt. He gave her a muffin for the road ahead because he knew she liked them so much. Then he closed the door and opened the letter excitedly anxious to read it. Dear Redbolt, On behalf of the wonder bolts, I would like to say I'm sorry for this but we can't accept you at this time. We wish you the best of luck and maybe you will get a letter someday saying you are now a wonder bolt. Your friends, Spitfire and Soarin. PS: Please don't hate us for this. We are so sorry. I'm sorry can i call you later to see how you are doing?", he asked his friend. "Sure", said Redbolt and hung up. I can't believe it my friend a wonder bolt. Then, an idea came to his mind. Well, if Spitfire can have her flight group so can I. He started to smile. We will be the Shadow bolts. The outcasts and i'll be the leader. Then, he went off to find a pair of flight goggles that were different and on the way back he found the skin suit he wanted for his flight group. He went in to the shop. "Can you make me more of these suits?", asked Redbolt as he pointed to the one he was asking about. "What logo would be on it?", asked the owner. He saw another reject. Her name was Nightshade. She was the sister of Spitfire and he could not help him self to go and see what she was crying about. But he new why. "Hey Nightshade", he said to her.from the shop while the owner was getting measurements of him. "There, I'm finished", said the owner of the shop. "What is going on here?", Nightshade asked Redbolt. "Well it's a long story.", he said. "Go ahead", she coaxed. Then he told her the story and finished breathing heavy from his long winded story. "Count me in but let me get my friends here to see if they want in.", she said. After a lot of talking they agreed they shall be know as the Shadow bolts.

That's when he got an eyeful of Nightshade's cutie mark. "That will be our logo", he said pointing to Nightshade's cutie mark. "OK," said the store manger as he draw nightshade's cutie mark on a piece of paper "It will take a while for me to complete these skin suit for you." "How long?" Redbolt asked the store manger. "A few days tops.", replied the manger of the store. "Call me when it's done.", said Redbolt. "So Nightshade how did you get rejected by the Wonder Bolts?", asked Redbolt curiously. "Oh, this is one of the reasons why they didn't accept me because of my cutie mark.", said Nightshade. "But, i'm surprised why they didn't accept me because your cutie mark is a red lighting bolt.", Nightshade said. "Enough talk let's get moving.", Redbolt said as he flexed out his wing and took off. The other Shadow Bolts followed him to Fillydelphia where they began there training to be ready for an airshow that they would have planed to preform at in Fillydelphia. "Why Fillydelphia?", asked Charger. "Because, this is were our headquarters is, Charger.", replied Redbolt. Just then the phone rang. "It's for you Redbolt.". said Starry Skies. "Hello?", Redbolt said into the phone. "Hay Redbolt it's me Ricky. Where are you, Redbolt? I haven't seen you around Ponyville." said Ricky. "I'm in Fillydelphia," answered Redbolt confused, "But i'll be back in a few days to pick something up." "So, why are you in Fillydelphia. I hoped you have not taken this rejection from the Wonder Bolts too seriously.", said Ricky. Suddenly Charger took the phone from Redbolt's hoof. "Listen, Ricky, Redbolt does not want to talk to you right now.", said Charger. "Who is this?!", said Ricky confused and angry at the same time. "My name is Charger and i'm a Shadow Bolt.", he said. "Shadow Bolt?!", said Ricky. "Put Redbolt back on the phone!", he demanded. "Here you go, sir.", said Charger handing the phone back to Redbolt. "Hay ,Ricky, you still there?", asked Redbolt. "Redbolt, please tell me this is not true what Charger said.", pleaded Ricky. "I'm sorry Ricky but every thing Charger just said is true. I'm not only a member but i'm captain of this group. Goodbye, Ricky.", said Redbolt as he hung up the phone. Redbolt turns to Charger. "Well done Charger. I could not have been more annoyed than when he called. If he calls again tell him i'll talk to him in person in Ponyville. "Yes.", Charger replied. The phone rang again, it was the store manger. "Finally.", said Redbolt. "They're done." said the store manager. "I'll be there in a few days to pick them up.", he said. "Okay I'll have them ready for you when you get here." the store owner said before he hung up. "Well that was the store manger." said Redbolt. "Are the skin suites ready?", asked the rest of the team in unison. "Yes!", said Redbolt, "But I'm going to wait for a few days before I go get them. I need to blow off some steam. Oh by the way training for today is over go on have some fun in Fillydelphia." Meanwhile back in Ponyville. "Quite well.", she replied. "Why don't you ask Redbolt that?" ,said Ricky. "Oh he couldn't be here.", said Soarin nervously. "Oh I beg to differ.", said Redbolt. "Redbolt!? What are you doing here?", Ricky said a little shocked. "Well, I brought a few friends with me.", he said lifting his goggles up on top of his head. "Friends?", Ricky asked confused. "Hi there Spitfire.", said Nightshade. "Nightshade?!", said spitfire shocked to she her sister here. "Oh this looks like a nice part.", said Blueball Blitz. "Starry, you are a sucker for sweets.", said Stratus. "Well look who we got here.", said Charger. "So you're Charger." said Ricky. "So, Redbolt, these are your friends?', asked Spitfire. She was surprised to see him again. She hoped he was not mad at her. "Right you are Spitfire." he said. "So how have you been Ricky ever since our little chat?", he said. "Fine.", Ricky replied. "Oh do i see a tear?", says Redbolt. "Why are you crying, Ricky?" he asked. "Because your a Shadow Bolt whispered again.", he said. "Come on guys we are leaving.", he commanded. Then they were gone. "Wow!", said Pinkie Pie. "So that was your friend Redbolt?", she asked him. "No that is not the friend I used to know. He was a lot nicer. Now that he is a shadowbolt he is a lot meaner than he is normally.", said Ricky. [centeron the flight back Fillydelphia] "Redbolt are you okay?", asked the rest of the team. asked charger yes i did charger go ahead and get the others so they can try on their skinsuits but remember there labeled to make sure they know who’s is who’s i’m going to pay ricky a little visit. said redbolt so he left the other shadowbolts try on their own suits while he was going to pay his friend a little visit. ponyville ricky was still shocked that his best friend was captain of the shadowbolts so he went to go get himself a drink. i still can’t believe it my friend redbolt a shadowbolt i knew i should've begged for him to have a second chance. said ricky as he took a drink from his cup then why didn’t you ricky?! said redbolt a little angered as waited for an answer from his friend redbolt?! what are you doing here i thought you wouldn’t be back for a while because you have an air show tomorrow. said ricky a little of both shocked and confused true i do have an air show tomorrow but i came here to pay you a visit just to say hi to my friend and stay a while if that's okay with you? yes. said ricky so ricky do you remember the good times we had when we were hanging out with each other flashback tag you're it redbolt said ricky as he tagged the young pegasus while was not looking. so you think you're funny he as he went after him to tag him back so ricky hid behind a pile of wheel barrows i guess i can’t find you i think you win this round ricky. said redbolt in a sarcastic voice and then he flexed his wings out i think... i will redbolt jumps and hovers with his wings get you he said before landing on top of the his friend *thud* tag you're it he said tagging the pony he was on top of. okay redbolt you win maybe we should play another round but this time i tie down your wings. he said before tackling his friend and tying his down okay redbolt lets see you tag me back with your wings tied down. um redbolt could you lay down and give me a ten second head start please he asked his friend sure replied redbolt as his lays down on his belly start running he said and with that he ran to find a new hiding spot hide from his friend. *meanwhile with redbolt* alright ricky ready or not here i come he said then he got up and went to tag his friend then after what seem to be five minutes he got his chance he snuck up ricky and tag your it and no tag backs then tagged him darn it he said alright i’ll untie your wings he said as untied them. end flashback those were some good times right ricky? said redbolt yes i have to agree with you redbolt but i don’t get why did you not fight back when i tackled you and tied your wings down? asked ricky well you see i kinda liked it so ricky want to play another round of tag you're it? sorry redbolt but i think i have kept you for too long now you need to get back to your flight group. said ricky when redbolt got back he found the others in their own skinsuits well how do they fit? asked redbolt why don’t you find out said nightshade give me a few minutes he said and then he came back wearing his skinsuit and was looking in the mirror wow i should've done this a long time ago he said looking at his reflection in the mirror and then charger got a camera out come on guys let’s get group picture if we want to be the best fliers in equestria lets get a group picture before bed *click* after they took the picture they went to bed. the next day was the first ever shadowbolts airshow which the main event lasted for forty-five minutes after that they were doing both interviews and signing autographs or just wandering around to keep themselves entertained a young filly walked over to where redbolt was standing around. excuse me said the young filly yes said redbolt can you please put your cutie mark here please she said holding out an autograph book turned to a blank page sure he said and then he traced his cutie mark into the book there you go he said handing it back to her. wow! thank you but i never got your name said the young filly oh my name is redbolt he said wow redbolt said the young filly hugging him you are the greatest as she said running to her mother looks like you already got your number one fan said. nightshade hay nightshade want to get something to eat? asked redbolt no thanks i’m good how about you she said then they both heard his stomach growl maybe i’m a little hungry said redbolt alright i get me something to eat he said then he found a place to eat and had some hay bacon strips. alright guys lets get back to headquarters because tomorrow we are going to be really sore from this airshow he said and with command they all back at base got out of their skinsiuts and were in their beds sound asleep.
A new member for the shadowboltsIn the Shadowbolt's HQ, Redbolt flew around in circles, bored out of his wings. "I wish the others would get back, it's so boring here. Maybe there's something to do in Ponyville." He spread his wings and took off towards Ponyville ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Alright, what to do." Redbolt pondered. The sun beat down on his head as he began to sweat. "Maybe I should get something to drink." He purchased a soda and was about to take a sip when he heard something behind him. "Go mess with somepony else!" yelled an angry voice. "Stop not showing me any respect!" screamed back a just as angry voice. Redbolt turned to see an earth pony shoved to the ground by a unicorn. The unicorn then walked away in anger. The earth pony got up, but accidentally slammed into Redbolt, spilling his drink. "Sorry," the colt said with some tears in his eyes, "I didn't mean to." He then ran off into the Everfree Forest. Redbolt thought about something, then flew off back to HQ, then into the Everfree. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Wow," thought the earth colt as he walked through the Everfree, "I totally embarrassed myself in front of that pegasus. I bet he's hanging out with Starshot, that jerk." Suddenly clouds of fog began to surround the pony. "What's going on?!" he shouted. He then saw the silhouette of a pegasus. He stepped out of the shadows, it was Rebolt in his Shadowbolt's outfit. "Greetings. My name is Redbolt, captain of the Shadowbolt's. I saw what happened back in Ponyville." "Oh really? What do you want?" "You. I sense your anger. Your passion for vengeance. I want you to become a Shadowbolt!" Quicksilver stared confusedly at Redbolt. "Uh, you can see through those goggles right? I'm just an earth pony." "Not for long." Redbolt hooves a small glass bottle filled with yellow liquid inside. Drink it, it gives you wings." The colt eyed the bottle. He thought that maybe he was an escapee from the nuthouse. So he might as well drink it to humor him. He took the bottle and slowly swallowed the potion. At first he felt nothing. "No surprise there." he thought. Then, his back started itching like crazy. Then intense pain shot through his spine. He screamed in pain as he toppled to the ground. Slowly, wings began to rip out of his back. The wings were caked with blood, as the pony staggered up. "What's your name?" asked Redbolt. "It was Quicksilver," panted the colt, "But now it's Quicksilver the Shadowbolt."
AftermathChapter 9 The following events took place 72 hours before quicksilver joined the shadowbolt The next day after redbolt and rainbow dash's race in the shadowbolt's hq redbolt is having an argument with other shadowbolts. "For the last time nightshade I'm not going shopping with you guys" redbolt said in an annoyed voice. " oh come on it will be fun" nightshade said and gives redbolt a playful nudged. " no" he retorted back. " alright suit yourself mister grumpy pants" said nightshade then she flex out her wings and flew off with the others. " mister grumpy pants my flank" he said to himself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A few minutes later at a Fillydelphia mall nightshade met up with the other shadowbolt members. " sorry guys I could not get him to come with us" nightshade said to the others. " well at least you tired" starry skies said in a nervously tone. " relax starry he is not mad at any of us he just wants to be alone" charger said calmly to starry skies. " okay" she replies to him. After a few minutes of looking something catches nightshade's eye. " that would look good on" nightshade said looking at some sliver colored sung glasses with reddish-orange colored lenses. " how much for those sun glasses?" Nightshade asked the store owner. " 30 bits" she answered. " here you go" nightshade said give the store owner 30 bits. " have a nice day" the store owner says after give the sun glasses to nightshade in a box. " thanks" nightshade said as she left the store and then she and the others leave the mail back to the hq. " I hope he likes these" nightshade says to herself in mid flight.
two secerts/acoument for the wonderbolts first air showthe next day in Fillydelphia all of the other shadowbolts except redbolt and nightshade’s wings were sore. what a beautiful day here in Fillydelphia i wonder how the others will feel when they get up today? redbolt said to himself. i hope they will not be too sore oh what am i kidding i’ll give them the week off to recover. he said again to himself alright i’ll leave them a note he said to himself then he puts a note on the table for them to read it says” i’m in ponyville now to see ricky you all get two weeks to recover sincerely redbolt” a few minutes after he left nightshade woke up and stretch and saw the note wow two weeks this may be the best time for me to make my move on redbolt but i have to tell some pony i’ll tell Starry Skies. nightshade said to herself psst Starry Skies psst Starry Skies said nightshade what? said Starry Skies half asleep i have to tell you something come with me. said nightshade *a few minutes later* well? Starry Skies said to nightshade i have a crush on redbolt. nightshade said to Starry Skies *Starry Skies smiles at nightshade* i knew it you had a crush on him. she said to nightshade don’t tell anyone else especially redbolt. nightshade said to Starry Skies okay, said Starry Skies meanwhile in cloudsdale after the wonderbolts finish some drills spitfire has something to say alright our first air show is tomorrow so get some rest. said spitfire soarin can i have a word with you?asked ricky sure. : replied soarin can you keep a secret soarin? asked ricky yes i can ricky. said saorin i have a crush on rainbow dash. said ricky let me guess don’t tell her nor anyone else? asked soarin right! said ricky okay ricky your secret is safe with me.said soarin about ten meters away redbolt is talking to rainbow dash so you enjoying being a wonderbolt? asked redbolt yes i am and i’m really sorry that you didn’t get accepted. she said to him in a sad voice it’s okay rainbow dash, he said to her redbolt, rainbow dash hi. said ricky ricky what’s up? said rainbow dash not much just wanted to what you two were talking about? said ricky well it was nice talking to you again rainbow dash well do your best tomorrow. said redbolt oh i will redbolt. said rainbow dash well bye and good luck. redbolt said and then flew home rainbow dash looks like you got a rose from your number one fan well i should go to. said ricky then he goes to talk to someone else hmm i wonder who gave me this rose? it can’t be redbolt because i would of seen it who knows? said rainbow dash then she takes a nap back in Fillydelphia redbolt is greeted by the team did you see the note? redbolt asked yes we did. said the rest of the team well i hope you guys will make a full recovery because tomorrow there first air show. said redbolt um sir our wings are sore. said the rest of the team except nightshade nightshade will you go with me to their first air show? asked redbolt yes! said nightshade then she hugs him okay but we need to get to bed now: said redbolt *then they all go to bed*
