It was very early in the morning, maybe four. The moon was still in the sky, but was right at the edge. She grinned twistedly, and took a big whiff of the air. It reeked of blood, rust, feces, and corpses.  She coughed up blood for about four minutes before setting off down to the east orchard to kick the barren, dead trees as she had been doing for many weeks now. After she spent about an hour kicking and ramming her hooves into the trees, screeching in pain from her dislocated legs colliding with the tree's surface, the sun was just starting to rise in the distance. AJ smiled as the warm light hit her clean face. She began her walk down to Ponyville to see Twilight. Blood was flowing slowly from her hooves, leaving a trail of red gunk behind her. She waved hello to Mr.Cake's corpse, which was nailed to the wall of the bakery by a large talon, which had been ripped out from the foot of whatever creature had impaled him to the wall. On the way, she also saw Scootaloo's body crucified to a tree, her entrails hanging from her open stomach. Applejack gave a stomach turning cackle and kept on trotting. Finally, she arrived at Twilight's library, and poked her head inside. In there, the books were scattered across the floor. A horse head statue sat was left along side the remnants of Twilight's skull. It had been used to impale her head and smash it like an egg. Spike was sitting on a chair next to the table, a bloody jagged knife in his lap. "Howdy there Spike. Twilight around?" "Twilight's okay, Twilight's okay..." "Yes siree, I'm sure she is. But could you point me in her direction?" "She's safe with Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, they're all swimming at the pool. They're safe and sound, everything's okay." Spike said, rocking back and forth. "I'm glad to hear that Spike, you have a nice day ya hear?" And so she set off for the pool where RD and Pinkie always swam. She passed by the bakery again, Mr.Cake's corpse remained stoic, stapled to the wall outside the bakery. From within the bakery, two children shrieking and running around inside, Mrs.Cake chasing them with a rolling pin. Applejack laughed maniacally. On the way, she was approached by a large creature with massive talons. It was approaching her outright, not worrying about her running away. They never ran anymore, they all just accepted their fates. "Howdy sir, beautiful morning, dontcha think?" The creature lashed out and hacked off one of her legs. The creature watched as blood began flowing from her and, satisfied that she would soon be dead, it began walking down to the library, the smell of two young ponies, an older pony, and a baby dragon heavy in the air. Applejack continued to hobble down the road, oblivious to her approaching demise, when she suddenly dropped. She was dead before she hit the ground. Her blood trailed down the road. It would freeze in the savage cold of Ponyville's extremely frigid night. //-------------------------------------------------------// Bliss //-------------------------------------------------------// Bliss Applejack walked outside of the farm house, blinking her eyes wearily. It was very early in the morning, maybe four, maybe closer to three forty five. The moon was still in the sky, but was right at the edge. She grinned, and took a big whiff of the air, and smelled wheat and apples. She savored it for a moment before setting off down to the east orchard to buck her daily forty. She spent about an hourse bucking apples off the trees, collecting them and leaving them to be brought to the barn by Big Mac. When she had finished, the sun was just starting to rise in the distance. AJ smiled as the warm light hit her clean face. She began her walk down to Ponyville to see Twilight. She mud stuck to her hooves, leaving a trail of brown horseshoe marks behind her. She waved hello to Mr.Cake who was standing silently in his doorway. On the way, she also saw Scootaloo trying to climb up a tree. She giggled to herself, thinking about what a silly filly Scoots was. Finally, she arrived at Twilight's library, and poked her head inside. In there, she saw the books lined orderly on the shelves. A horse head statue sat neatly in the center of a table with papers scattered all around it. Spike was sitting on a chair next to the table, a book in his lap. "Howdy there Spike. Twilight around?" "Twilight's okay, Twilight's okay..." "Yes siree, I'm sure she is. But could you point me in her direction?" "She's safe with Pinkie Pie and Rainbow Dash, they're all swimming at the pool. They're safe and sound, everything's okay." Spike said, sitting calmly. "I'm glad to hear that Spike, you have a nice day ya hear?" And so she set off for the pool where RD and Pinkie always swam. She passed by the bakery again, Mr.Cake was still standing silently outside the bakery. From within the bakery, she could here the two children giggling and running around inside. She chuckled to herself, thinking about what it would be like to have children of her own. On the way, she passed one of the Solar guards who were patrolling the town, keeping the enemies away. "Howdy sir, beautiful morning, dontcha think?" He was very close to her. He nodded, shook her hoof, and kept on walking. Applejack trotted along for a few moments until she started to feel weary. She sat down on the ground for a moment and took a little nap.
