//-------------------------------------------------------// The Downfall //-------------------------------------------------------// The Downfall        “I know, Angel, I know.  I promised I’d be home tonight to spend more time with you and the other animals.  I just have to go run this one little errand, and I’ll be home to stay.  Does that sound good?”  Fluttershy asked.        Angle Bunny crossed his arms, and turned his head away from the pleading pegasus.  Fluttershy nuzzled his back with the tip of her muzzle.        “Oh come on, I promise it’ll only be for a few minutes!”  She added.        After a couple more seconds of pleading, Angel Bunny glanced back at her.  He shrugged, and nodded his head a few times.        “Oh, thank you!  I swear it won’t be long, so just make yourself comfy until I return!”        With this, Fluttershy threw on her saddlebags, turned the doorknob, and stepped outside into the dark, concealing night.  Closing the door gently behind her, she embarked on her journey to the town market. ………………………………………………… …………………………………………………        The weather outside was fairly mild, but the gentle winds brought a slight chill to the air.  Fluttershy shivered lightly as she continued her walk.  A scarf might’ve been a good idea.        Even with the skies as dark as coal, the liveliness in the nature around her continued to thrive.  Fluttershy hummed softly to herself as she listened to the birds singing and the crickets chirping.  The stars shone brightly and beautifully above her head, as a single cloud was naught to be seen.        As Fluttershy traveled her routine path, she kept her eyes fixed on the skies above.  On no other night would she see someone like Rainbow Dash gliding peacefully overhead.  She kept her watch. …        Soon, though, the stars started to become more and more difficult to see as she neared the market.  The lights that emanated from the far distance began to slowly approach, getting closer and more illuminating as she neared their proximity.        Upon reaching the streets of downtown Ponyville, Fluttershy surveyed her surroundings.  Considering the weather, a minimal number of ponies roamed the streets at a time when they would all normally be in their cozy homes by the fireplace.  Some of the ponies were alone, some were with their special someponies, and some were running quick little errands like she was.        Fluttershy traveled down Main Street on her quest to find the food market.  Upon making a left, she found only a couple ponies left running their small shops.  Most of the ponies that usually populated this vast region of town were locked up in their houses for the night.        She studied the various small shops on her way down the street.  Judging by the expression and stance of the shopkeepers, Fluttershy could tell that she was going to be the last customer traveling down this road for the rest of the night.  Some of the shops that remained were shops for fruit, spices, grain, sweets, and vegetables.        Fluttershy casually approached the vegetable stand with five bits resting in her hoof.  The shopkeeper’s ears perked up as she noticed Fluttershy approaching. …        “Good evening!  What can I do for you this fine night?”  The keeper asked politely.        Fluttershy, upon setting the bits down on the stand, replied, “Nothing much.  I just need a bushel of carrots for tomorrow’s breakfast recipe.  I forgot to buy them earlier today, and I know I’m going to hear it if I don’t have them for tomorrow!”        “No problem!  Just take as many as you need.”        Once Fluttershy had thanked the shopkeeper, she began filling up her saddlebags with the carrots she needed.  Once they were both about a quarter full, she prepared to take her leave.        “Have a nice night!”  The keeper called.        “You too.”  Fluttershy replied softly. …        As the timid pegasus turned around to walk away from the market, she noticed lights go off behind her as the remaining shopkeepers began to turn in for the night.  She shivered lightly again as she realized how dark and lonely the town was becoming.        Fluttershy turned onto Main Street.  Studying her entrance route, the mare decided it would be quicker to get home if she cut through an alleyway between two closed stores.  So, that’s exactly what she did.        She headed straight instead of turning right.  This led her off of the road and into the soft grass that lined the streets and buildings of Ponyville.  Whatever light that was left was gone once Fluttershy entered the alley.        It didn’t seem like much of a difference, but the straight shot through the alleyway provided a five-to-ten minute shortcut that taking the main road couldn’t provide.  She grinned lightly as she made this calculation. …        About midway through the narrow passage, Fluttershy heard a noise.  She glanced around behind her, and checked to see if anyone was there.  For a few moments, the night was perfectly silent.  Fluttershy could almost hear her own heartbeat.        She turned back around, and continued her walk.  After only a couple hoofsteps, however, another noise plagued her eardrums.  Once again, she stopped to check her surroundings.        “Hello?  Is anypony there?”  She asked quietly.        She got no immediate reply.  Fluttershy waited a few more moments to justify her senses.  Right upon turning back around, she got the reply she was hoping not to get.        “Well guys, take a look at what we got here!”  A mysterious voice said. …        Fluttershy, startled, turned back around behind her.  Three large-looking stallions stepped out from behind a few dumpsters.  They were dressed in black coats, and were wearing black hats.  The clothing coupled with the lighting made it impossible for the pegasus to tell the stallions apart.        “What’s such an adorable little pegasus doing back here in da middle of da night?  Shouldn’t you be at home?”  The second voice asked.        Fluttershy chuckled nervously.  “Well, you see, I had to get some carrots for…”        “Ya know, it confuses me to see someone as flawless as you out here so…alone.”  The third stallion mentioned, cutting her off. …        The three shadow-stallions began to advance toward her slowly and menacingly.  Fluttershy backed away nervously, stuttering inaudibly as she did so.  Just before she decided to turn around and make a run for the exit, she bumped into a fourth stallion that was standing behind her.        “Whaddya think we should do wit dis one?”  The fourth stallion asked.        The first stallion laughed.  “We’re gonna give her the special treatment.”  He replied evilly.        “Special…t…treatment?  That doesn’t really sound so…”        “You must be feeling tense; why don’t you stay here and relax wit us?”  The third stallion asked.        “Thanks, but I really should be getting home…  My animal friends wouldn’t like it if I’m late…”        “C’mon!  I’m sure they won’t mind.” …        All four stallions began to close in on Fluttershy.  She ducked down on the ground while making small whimpering noises.  Three of the stallions began to feel up and down her back.        “P…please don’t do that…you’re making me very uncomfortable…”        Ignoring her plea, one of the stallions took off her saddlebag, and threw it aside.  Fluttershy gasped.        “Please, I need that!”        “Not anymore, you don’t.  You ain’t goin’ nowhere.”        “Let me go!  I need to get home to my animal friends!” …        Fluttershy began to struggle with the stallions.  She jerked her body around while kicking her hooves, trying to free herself from the attackers’ grasp.  While doing so, she accidentally kicked the first stallion right in the jaw.        The stallion reeled back, and put a hoof up to his face.  After a few seconds, he pulled his hoof away slowly.  Upon seeing blood, he snarled angrily.        “A’ight boys, get her!  Do whatever you want to her!”  He ordered.  As he said this, he pulled a knife out from his coat.        Fluttershy screamed in terror.  Her struggling intensified.  The stallions closed down on her, and began to beat her and cut her.        Fluttershy was screaming and crying the whole time this was happening.  Bruises and slashes began forming on her skin, but the stallions would not stop their torment.  Fluttershy was completely helpless. …        The first stallion walked up behind her, and began to pry her legs apart.  Fluttershy resisted with all of her might.        “Please, no!  I don’t like anyone touching me there!”  She begged.        “Shut up!  You’re going to roll with it, or you’ll never see your precious ‘animal friends’ again!  Now get on the ground!”  He demanded.        Fluttershy continued to resist the stallion’s orders.  The other three stallions were still beating at the rest of her body.        “I said GET ON THE GROUND!”        “No!  Let me go!  Please!”        The first stallion growled viciously.  He grabbed his knife, and slashed Fluttershy at the lower part of her back.  She cried out in pain.  He then proceeded to position himself on top of her while holding his knife to her neck.        “Spread ‘em, bitch.  And make it hasty.” …        Fluttershy, crying heavily and completely out of options, did as the stallion said.  In response, the second stallion walked around behind her, and got himself into position.        “Please don’t…please don’t…please…”        “No one said you could talk.  Now do us a favor, and try not to scream!”  The first stallion ordered. …        The four stallions then proceeded to rape her brutally.  They forced themselves into her from every orifice they could find.  Fluttershy yelped sharply with each painful thrust while bawling uncontrollably.  Blood leaked out from her nether regions. ………………………………………………. ……………………………………………….        Once the stallions were done, they got off of her, and shoved her aside.  She immediately curled up into a tight ball, and cried.        “Now, because you’re so cute, I’m gonna let you live.  But if you speak ONE WORD about this to the authorities, I’ll make sure it’s the last thing you ever say.  Understood?”        Fluttershy was still crying.  She didn’t respond.        “UNDERSTOOD?”        She nodded rapidly.        “Good.  C’mon boys, let’s get outta here.”  The first stallion ordered.  Following orders, the other three stallions went with him.  They even left with Fluttershy’s saddlebags. …        Fluttershy covered her bloody face with her hooves, and cried deeply until morning. //-------------------------------------------------------// The Discovery //-------------------------------------------------------// The Discovery        The next day, Rainbow Dash flew carelessly above the skies of Ponyville.  Even as high up as she was, the weather was absolutely flawless.  The breeze was only a little chilly, but it was made up for by the shining sun.        The graceful cyan pegasus didn’t even bother to do her normal tricks and stunts.  Today, she was just flying to ease stress and enjoy the perfect weather.  As she flew, she looked down on the grand city of Ponyville.        At this time of day, the streets were filled with ponies.  The market was bustling as well.  The voices of hundreds of happy ponies filled the air around her from down below.  Rainbow Dash never felt so satisfied.        But…what was there to do on this day for a pony as care-free as herself?  No matter how beautiful the day seemed, boredom would always find its way into Rainbow Dash’s conscience.        “I know!  I’ll go see how Fluttershy’s doing!”  The mare exclaimed to herself. …        Rainbow Dash changed her direction, and began flying away from the region of Ponyville.  Her target now was the cottage on the edge of the Everfree Forest.  From the height of which she resided, seeing her target was no problem at all.        Although the cottage was fresh on Rainbow’s mind, she was not in a hurry.  As she flew, the slightly cold breeze chilled her feathers, causing her to shiver a bit.  Fluttershy must’ve felt so cozy inside with her fireplace. …        In little time, Rainbow Dash touched down on the ground in front of her friend’s cottage.  She approached the front door, and rapped on it lightly.        She then stood patiently for Fluttershy to answer.  She stood there for almost five minutes, but got no answer.  While she was waiting, however, she heard frantic banging and rustling noises.        Rainbow Dash was confused.  After hearing these strange noises for a minute or two, Angel Bunny answered the door.  He was standing on a stool, and was wearing a huge smile.        His smile vanished instantly, however, when he caught a glimpse of Rainbow Dash standing at the door.        “Um…hello, Angel Bunny.  Isn’t Fluttershy home?”  She asked nicely.        Angel’s face was worried.  He shook his head, and shrugged his shoulders.  Rainbow Dash’s eyes widened.        “Wait…you mean you don’t KNOW where she is?”        Angel nodded.  He started using body-gestures to explain to Rainbow Dash what had happened.  Rainbow Dash studied Angel’s acting with a solemn look on her face.        “So…you say she left to do something last night, and just…didn’t return?”        Angel nodded again.  Rainbow Dash nodded in return.        “Okay…that means she’s missing, and it’s my job to go find her.  Thanks for the info, Angel!”        With this statement, Rainbow Dash took off back into the air.  Angel Bunny sighed heavily, and closed the door. ……………………………………………… ………………………………………………        Before she knew it, Rainbow Dash was back in the skies again.  Only this time, she had a purpose to be flying.  With her first destination locked on Ponyville again, she surveyed the ground below to make sure she didn’t miss her pegasus friend on her way there.        Once Rainbow Dash had reached the crowded city, she touched down in front of a house on Main Street.  Ponies covered the roads around her, chatting and going about their normal business.  Rainbow Dash sighed in exasperation.        “There’s no way I’m going to find her here…”  She muttered to herself.        The mare began to walk up and down the street, closely studying the road next to her.  If Fluttershy was in that crowd, it was going to take another full moon to find her. …        Upon traveling back down the street for the seventh time, Rainbow Dash heard a noise to her left.  She turned toward the noise, and saw nothing but a dark, abandoned alley.  She jerked her head back toward it as soon as she looked away.  A glimpse of color caught her eye amongst the unforgiving darkness that enveloped it.        Rainbow Dash began to walk slowly down this alley.  She looked around at her surroundings, cringing at all the dankness that it contained.  As she continued, spots of red started appearing on the concrete ground.        “What the hay…?”        Her fear rising, Rainbow Dash continued down the alley with a slightly picked-up pace.  She also noticed the noise getting louder as she got closer to the middle of the passage. …        Then, next to a dumpster to her left, Rainbow Dash got a clearer view of the blotch of color that caught her eye previously.  It was Fluttershy, curled up in against the wall and crying lightly.        “Fluttershy!  Holy sweet Celestia, what happened to you?!”  Rainbow Dash exclaimed.        Fluttershy looked up from behind her hoof.  Her eyes widened as soon as she saw her cyan friend standing before her.        “Rainbow Dash!  I’m so glad to see you!”  She cried.        She got up off of the ground, and hugged Rainbow Dash as tightly as she could.  Rainbow Dash returned the favor without a second doubt.  She closed her eyes as Fluttershy continued to cry over her shoulder.        It didn’t take the pegasus long to notice something odd about her friend.  First of all, as she hugged her, Rainbow Dash noticed that Fluttershy was very sticky against her skin.  In addition, her hair smelled rather repulsive.        “Okay, Flutters, I need to see what happened to you.  Let me take a look.”        Fluttershy stepped away from Rainbow Dash, giving her a clear view of her broken body.  Rainbow Dash gasped in horror.        Her butter-yellow friend was completely abused.  Cuts and bruises covered her body from head to hoof.  Small drops of clotted blood tainted her features, as well as the purple blotches that peppered her yellow appearance.  Her left eye was swollen almost completely shut.  Her cutie mark was hard to see under the red marks that stained her flank.  Her wings were clipped at the end, bent sideways, and covered in scratches.        Rainbow Dash flinched at her friend’s worst feature.  Semen covered almost all of her body.  It was all over her face, most of which was around her mouth.  Random splashes of it could be seen covering her body, as well as her hair.  Large amounts of it dripped out of her nether regions, creating puddles on the ground beneath her.         “Fluttershy…oh Fluttershy…who could’ve done this to you?”  Rainbow Dash asked in utter shock.        Fluttershy’s crying began to intensify again as she answered, “I don’t know…it was so dark, I…I didn’t get to see who it was…”        “What exactly happened?  How did this occur?”        “Th…They raped me, Rainbow Dash!  They didn’t show any remorse!”  Fluttershy burst out, crying uncontrollably for the second time.        “We have to tell somepony!  This can’t go unavenged!”        “No, Rainbow, don’t!  They said if I told anypony…they’d…”        “They’d what?”        “They’d make sure it was the last thing I ever said…”  Fluttershy finished, stopping again to cry heavily.        “What if you’re pregnant, Fluttershy?  What would you do then?  You see, this isn’t going to get better if you keep it bottled up.  Someone has to be informed!”  Rainbow Dash explained coldly.        “Is my life worth it, Dashie?  I know they’re going to find me, and it’s going to be worse than the last time if you tell anypony!” …        Rainbow Dash stood in silence.  She stared at her beaten friend, and said nothing.  She was thinking.        Fluttershy continued to cry into her hoof.  Rainbow Dash sighed.        “It’s okay, Flutters…it’s going to be okay…come here…”  She whispered.        Fluttershy approached Rainbow Dash, and hugged her dearly for the second time.  Fluttershy was still crying into Rainbow Dash’s shoulder.  They stood there for an extremely long time, trying to ease tensions that Fluttershy had built up.        “Alright, Fluttershy.  Now let’s go back to your cottage.  We’ll get you cleaned up, we’ll get you something to drink, and we’ll give you a nice place to rest.  I’ll stay there with you the whole time.  And then, tomorrow, we’ll get you tested for any signs of pregnancy.  Does that sound cool?”        Fluttershy nodded slowly.  Rainbow Dash hoisted her friend up onto her back, and carried her back to her cottage.  Fluttershy gripped her carrier with the remainder of her life.
