Cheese Sandwich never really focused on Pinkie's friends. He was more fixated on achieving the goal he set out and it didn't include her. When he gets a moment to see her, she finally stands out. Her beautiful mane and soft voice that called out to him, or was it just him? He knows there is something drawing him to her, but their is a wall. Fluttershy doesn't know if he's right for her, and taking it slow will figure that out.
