//-------------------------------------------------------// Escaping the heat -by The Mentlegen- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// 'Tis the Season //-------------------------------------------------------// 'Tis the Season Escaping the heat It was another average yet boring day for me, just like any day of the week. I got up, had breakfast, went over to Bon Bon's Sweets to work, made candy, lay them out in a glass display case, had lunch with Lyra (who is currently my girlfriend, or marefriend), made more candy, got paid exceptionally well and went home to Golden Oaks Library as Twilight's roommate, who also happens to be a princess. The sun was already setting and we've already sold out our entire stock of sweets, chocolates and other diabetic goodness made from the heavens above (the kitchen), the cash register's so full of gold coins, or bits, it could barely even close again. As a college student studying culinary arts back on Earth, I'm the reason why we're making so much money. Hell, even more money than Carousel Boutique. So much money, in fact, we don't even what to do with them. I just finished packing up my things into my backpack, slung it over my shoulder and walked towards to the entrance when Bon Bon stopped me. "Hey Jeff, here's your pay." she handed me a pouch fill with bits, tied with a string. I took the pouch from her hoof. "Thanks, Bonnie." I thanked her. I continued my way towards the door, stopped, turned around and faced Bon bon again. "Didn't you pay me last week?" I asked after a sudden realisation. "I did, keep it as a bonus. We've made so much money we don't know what to do with them." Bon Bon replied. "This isn't necessary, but thanks." I thanked her again as I opened my backpack and put the pouch inside, "Well, I'm off. Bye, Bonnie." I slung the backpack over my shoulder again and walked outside through the entrance. "Bye, Jeff. Take care." Bon Bon waved at me. "I will!" I called back, raising my right arm in the air and waving back at her. The streets of Ponyville is empty and painted orange from the sunset, just the way how I like it every evening. I don't mind getting stares from other ponies, but it feels uncomfortable as hell when you have eyes watching you from everywhere. I've been living in this world for four months now, and everyone here acts like it's the first time they've seen a almost-hairless monkey that that wears strange clothing, talks and knows what's this and that. The children and I get along really well, but sometimes their parents will drag them away from me and glare while we are playing a game of soccer. After taking a look at the sunset, and for some reason, I started singing. "Wait, dear..." Back at home on Earth, before my 'incident', living in a city only gave me nothing but grey and colorless skies. And constantly raining all the time. Here, I see blue skies in the morning, orange in the evening and a beautiful mix of black, purple and dark blue at night with stars dotted along them at night. "I'm looking for a place I'll ne'er see again~" I continued singing when I reached the library, which is basically a giant, hollow tree with thousands of books stored inside, which I find very ironic. The light coming out from the windows show that Twilight, who is also my roommate, is still inside. I opened the door and went inside the library, or house, or tree house, or whatever you call it. I bent forward to make sure not to hit my head against the door frame, just like I did every now and then. "The human who pays your bills is home!" I announced as I closed the door. "Jeeeff, I need your help with somethiiinnng~" I heard Twilight from upstairs calling for me, in a playful tone. "Why can't you get Spike to-" I stopped after another sudden realization. Spike went off to Canterlot to do some official business and will return home somewhere around tonight. "Right." I dropped my bag underneath the table along with my favorite green Colt hoodie jacket, not bothering to put them in place properly. "Whaddaya need help with?" I called from below. as I made my way to the stairs. "Oh, you'll see~" Twilight said again in a seductive tone this time. "Alright, I'm coming..." I started to walk up the stairs. "Alright, what is it you want me to-" I looked up once I reached the top of the stairs. "What." A lavender unicorn was lying on her bed. Her entire body was facing towards the stairs I'm standing on, giving me a good look at the overalls she was wearing. Purple socks that reaches up to her flanks, trimmed with pink fur which almost covered her cutie mark, a cloth saddle on her back and a small tuft of the same pink fur around the base of her horn. She was also wearing magenta eye shadow. "Well?" she asked me, staring at me very lustfully. "I, uh. Hmm. You look, uh..." I stuttered for words to come out from my brain and through my mouth. "You look... great?" "Thanks, Rarity made it for me." Twilight giggled like a little girl. "So this is what you need help with? To see whether you look good in your... 'overalls'?" I said to her, words finally coming out from my mouth. "I mean, it does really good on you. Rarity did a great job on it. And- Whoa!" Purple energy appeared out of nowhere and grabbed hold on my entire body, lifting my body off the ground and pulling me to Twilight's direction. "Oh, you're not going anywhere..." Twilight moved aside, dropped me onto the bed next to her and sat on top of me. "Twilight, what're you-" "Shh... It's going to be alright." she placed her hoof on my lips, cutting me off. "What I want you to do, is to fuck me." I shook my head around to free my lips and speak again. "Twi, you do know I have a-" she cut me off again. This time, her lips meeting mine. She broke away, I gasped for breath. "Oh, she doesn't need to know anything." Just then, I heard the front door open from downstairs and a familiar voice announcing himself. "Everyone's favourite number one assistant is home!" "Spike! I need your-" Twilight cut me off by kissing me again before I could finish. I shook my head around once more, freeing my lips from hers. But that only resulted her securing my head in place with her magic. "Hey hey hey, Twi. Hear me out, you wouldn't want Spike watching you... commit bestiality, would you?" "Let him watch. Or maybe I could ask him to join us?" "Hey, Jeff. So what can I- What." the purple dragon's jaw hung loose once he saw us. "In that cupboard, there's a seru- mmphh!" Twilight cut me off AGAIN with a kiss. "You never keep quiet, do you?" she broke away and resumed kissing me again. While I resisted, clenching my teeth to prevent Twilight's tongue from touching mine, I heard Spike running towards the direction where I keep my brewing kit. I heard the sound of him opening the cupboard, glass clinking against each other, more running, this time towards my direction. And before I knew it, he jabbed a needle between Twilight's ribs and squeezed the pump, pulled it out and let the liquid do it's magic. "Yowch!" she cried out in pain. Having being released from my bonds, I pushed her aside and ran over to a wall. "Spike! What are yo... What're..." she started to slur, and collapsed on her bed. I did not expect that serum to work that quickly. "Welp, it's that time of the month again." I walked towards the cupboard with the brewing kit and started taking out a stick I use for hiking and a survival knife with para cord wrapped around the handle. Why? You'll never know. "Heat week?" Spike asked me. "Heat week." I replied to his question as I walked downstairs. "Just like every month, I'll be away for the week." I opened my backpack, put the knife inside it and picked up my jacket. "You know what to do." "Make sure she doesn't find you, no matter what. I remember." "Good." I finished putting on my jacket, picked up the stick, slung the bag over my shoulder and walked out from the library. Now I just needed a place to stay for the week. But where? Rarity's place sounds like the best option for me, since she and I get along well and being the wielder of the element generosity. So I started walking towards the way to Carousel Boutique, when I stepped on something. I stopped and looked down, it was a pink letter that has my name on it. Curious, I picked it up, opened it, and read the note inside. Look behind you. -Pinkie Pie I looked back, only to find a blue ring and nothing but emptiness inside it.
