After a serious flying injury leaves Rainbow Dash's wings in an awful state, her long-term prognosis is that competitive flying is out of the question. However, Rainbow decides to go against what she has been told and prove anypony and everypony wrong. With the help of three of the worst flyers in PonyVille: Twilight Sparkle, Scootaloo and Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash is determined to prove herself by creating her very own Dream Team and train with them to compete in the annual "Equestria Air Race." To show what she can still achieve.

This story is told mainly form Rainbow Dash's point of view however, there will be parts in the story when the perspective changes for a short amount of time.
