Seriously though, what sort of name is 'Derpy Hooves' or 'Ditzy Do'?

Derpy may have resigned herself to everypony calling her either name (to a point both her names appear on all of her official documents to save time) but it IS a rather poor choice of a name. Sometimes not even SHE remembers what it actually is.

Maybe she can make 'Ms Mailmare' a thing...
