A Rainbow In Time

"Hey, Rainbow Dash!" called the Doctor. The spiky haired, brown eyed stallion, stood below looking up at the cloud where Rainbow slept. The Cyan Pegasus looked down and smiled at the Earth Pony. In the blink of an eye she stood in front of him. She leaned forward and kissed the stallion. Just a few weeks ago, Rainbow wasn't this happy. I'll tell you why.

Rainbow lay on her cloud, tears pouring out of her eyes. She had just gotten back from a funeral yesterday. But it wasn't any ordinary funeral. It had been her brothers funeral. Her parents had stopped by a few days ago to deliver the horrible news. For support, Twilight and the others had gone with her. It had been a very painful day, all of the mane six had shed many tears. Rainbows brother had died of cancer. He'd had it all his life. It hadn't been a huge problem, up until now. All Rainbow could think of was her brother, as she lay on the cloud crying.

"Have you girls seen Dash?" Twilight asked her friends.

They had been invited to sugar cube corner, by Pinkie Pie to have a milkshake. They all shook their heads sadly.

"I haven't seen the poor darling in days" Rarity answered.

"I tried flying up to see her, but she told me to leave" Flutter shy said quietly.

"Same here Twilight I haven't seen er in forever it seems" Apple Jack said sadly.

"I miss the old Dash so much!" Pinkie slammed her head on the table, and burst into tears.

"Somethings got to be done about her" Spike jumped in.

"Your right Spike, but what can we do?" Twilight wondered.

All the girls sat thinking for a while on how to help their friend. All the sudden Pinkie jumped up.

"I got it! I got it!" she cried. Every pony turned to Pinkie with hopeful expressions. "I don't think WE can help dash . . . but I think I know some pony who can!"

At the moment they were all willing to try anything. All they wanted was to have their friend back!

"Who ya got in mind Pinkie?" Spike asked.

"Can't talk got make a phone call" she said rushing to The Cakes phone.

The girls all listened intently, as Pinkie talked to some pony on the phone.

When she hung up they all rushed back to their seats. "He'll be here in one minute" Pinkie said happily.

The others looked at each other in confusion. She wasn't being serious about one minute, right? But about one minute later, they all heard that all too familiar sound. It was the sound of the TARDIS.

"There he is!" Pinkie shouted.

You called Time Turner about this?" Spike asked.

"Sure did" she replied. Her friends all followed her as she went out to meet the Time Lord pony.

The stallion trotted out of the TARDIS. Pinkie Pie bounded up to him.

"So glad you could come at such timing" Pinkie said cheerfully.

"Well you said it was an emergency" he replied.

He looked back at the other girls, who were so eager to greet him. "So what seems to be the problem?" he asked.

All the Girls (along with Spike) started to explain the situation at hoof. "I'm really sorry to hear that" he said sadly.

"We need you to help her, darling" Rarity said.

"Your'e the last hope, we've all done everything we can" said Apple Jack.

"You know I can't walk on cloud, right?" he asked.

"Don't worry I can enchant you, for twenty four hours" said Twilight. When she said it, she stretched her wings.

"You've got to try!" Pinkie cried, tears coming to her eyes.

"Well as long as I don't die . . . why not?." They all cheered in agreement.

"What did you mean by, as long as you don't die?" Spike asked.

Turner looked at Spike for a moment. "Oh!" he said understandingly.

Rainbow Dash was not only known for her speed, she was known to pack a punch. He was referring to if Rainbow Dash didn't kill him. Twilight cast the spell on Time Turner, causing him to walk on cloud. The doctor sent the girls away, because he didn't want Dash to suspect.

"Now we cross our hooves, and hope for the best" sighed Twilight. All of her fiends nodded in their agreement.

Turner walked up to Dash's door and rang the bell. After a few minutes he heard the flutter of wings. The door slowly opened, and he could barley see the tip of a rainbow mane. Rainbow stuck her head out slowly, her face stained with tears.

"Hello, Dash" he smiled.

Rainbow looked at him for a moment, then got a shocked look on her face."Your . . . an Earth Pony" she said slowly.

Turner nodded in response. "How are you walking on cloud?"

"Twilight placed a spell on me" he answered, inviting himself in.

Rainbow shrugged and surprisingly, allowed him entrance.

"What do you want? " Rainbow said a bit annoyed.

"A little bird told me you were sad, so I came to cheer you up" he informed.

Rainbow flew over to her couch and sat down. The doctor continued to stand, for now.

"I'm afraid I can't be cheered up" she said.

Tears began to stream down her blue cheeks. Turner walked over and sat beside her. He placed a loving hoof on her shoulder. She curled up to him and began to sob silently. Turner was holding back his own tears, but one of them had to be strong.

Without really thinking he began nuzzling Dash's ear. Dash shuddered a little bit. "I think I'm starting to fall for you" Dash said. "Are you now? " Turner asked. Rainbow Dash nodded in response. He kissed Dash's ear sweetly. When she lifted her head to face him, he leaned forward and kissed her lips. Rainbow jumped at first, but soon fell under the spell of the kiss. When they finally broke off, they both panted. Turner rested his head against the arm of the couch. He was still propped up against the side a bit. He pulled Dash on to his chest gently. Rainbow's heart began to race, as a strange feeling washed over her. It was a feeling she'd never had before. At first Dash's muscles were tense, but they soon relaxed. "I know I am now" Rainbow said.

She turned her head and looked him in the eyes. He looked into her eyes. "You know, you have gorgeous eyes" he soothed. He gently stroked her face. Rainbow blushed slightly. "Thank you" she said. He noticed, she didn't have a really reassured look on her face. "You don't believe me? " he asked. "I do! It's just, I don't get complimented on my looks much" she admitted. It was true! Rainbow was know for her speed and ability's, not her looks. It was the first time any stallion, had complemented her like that. The two kissed again, this time longer than last. The two once again broke off panting. Just then Tank came into the room. He eyed Turner questioningly.

"Tank, hey buddy" said Dash. The Tortoise hovered over the couch while Dash petted him. Turner caught himself staring at Dash's flank. He looked away, but Dash had already noticed. Tank flew off, eyeing Turner as he left. Dash giggled at Time. She stood over him and kissed him sweetly. "You didn't think I wouldn't notice, did you?" she giggled. Time blushed a little at being caught. "That's what I was hoping" he chuckled. Dash snuggled up beside him. He pulled her close, and then without warning, licked her ear. She shuddered and sighed at the feeling. She nuzzled his nose for it. He placed his hoof on her face, and slid it down to her stomach. Dash chuckled because she was slightly ticklish. She pushed his hoof away.

He kissed her, but slid his hoof back down again. Dash laughed in the middle of the kiss and blushed. Tank came back in looking at them both. The Tortoise rolled his eyes. Dash broke off the kiss panting again. "Wait here I got something to show you" she zoomed off to her bedroom. Tank landed next to Turner, staring him down. Rainbow Dash came back downstairs, and landed on the other side of him. She handed him a book. "Read it" she said. He looked at the book and opened it. It turned out to be Dash's Diary, in the back was a letter from her brother. It said that he loved his sis, and he wanted her to be happy. That he would miss her, and wished her to have a good life.

"I'm really gonna miss him" she said. "I don't blame you. He really loved you" Time said. Rainbow leaned her head on him. "If it weren't for you, I never would have read that letter" she said. "Wait your just now reading this?" he asked in surprise. Dash nodded. "You gave me the courage to read it" she said. He smiled at Dash. He leaned over and kissed her again. It left a strand of saliva between the both of them. The rest of the day they spent together. Dash was finally smiling and being happy again. All of Dash's friends sincerely thanked Turner. "Well looks like she didn't kill ya after all" Spike teased.

After Dash flew from her cloud,to the Earth Pony and kissed him, he told her something. "Your parents wanted to ask how you were since the loss" he informed. "I'm still going strong!" Dash said proudly. "And it's all thanks to you." Turner smiled at Dash. They both sat on the hill, leaned against each other. Rainbow would always miss her brother, but she had her friends and family to be there. Also she had the Stallion she loved and always would. That's how True Love works!!
