Rarity turned her back to the orange mare, and the cowgirl chuckled. "Well, yer just gonna have ta deal with it. Ah don' know 'bout you, Rare, but Ah love the taste of Honeycrisp." Applejack flicked her wrist gently and the apple was released from her hoof and spun into the air. Gravity took control of the situation and returned it back to her. "Applejack, don't do this." Applejack raised her hoof to her mouth. "You wouldn't dare!" Applejack dared. She took a bite. "NOOOO!" Rarity ran out of the room. The aroma followed. Screams were heard from across the Boutique. Applejack casually finished her apple, and proceeded to Rarity's room. When Applejack opened the door, she was afraid, confused, and slightly amused. Rarity was sporting full protective gear and held a threading needle in one hoof and a sewing machine in the other. "GET AWAY FROM ME, YOU RUFFIAN!" Rarity tensed. "Rare, Ah--" Applejack was bombarded by spools of thread. "And THAT is why you and Rarity will NEVER work out as a couple!" Twilight finished, grabbing a few bits from her bag and tossing them over the counter to Applejack. "Twi, you wouldn't know what a good relationship was if it hit ya in the face!" Applejack taunted, handing Twilight a red and yellow apple. "Hey... what smells?" //-------------------------------------------------------// Splash - kittyhasnosoul //-------------------------------------------------------// Splash - kittyhasnosoul Pinkie Pie jumped up and down on the wooden floor of the boat, each time causing the rear end of the boat to get flooded with water. "Are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?" She asked energetically. "No, Pinkie. But we're almost there," said Fluttershy, wiping some water that had splashed on her face due to Pinkie's jumping off with a wing. Pinkie Pie stopped jumping, a giant splash of water to flood the entire boat. "Pinkie Pie, you got the campus all wet!" Fluttershy said, trying her best to maintain her temper. Pinkie Pie smiled apologetically, "Oops, sorry, Fluttershy!" Fluttershy sighed, "It's okay, Pinkie." Fluttershy's smile returned, "We're here, Pinkie." She grabbed the rope that was sitting inside the boat and used her wing to twist it and the water that it had soaked up disappeared back into the water. She then tied the rope around the dock, securing the boat so that it didn't float away. As she got up out of the boat with the help of Pinkie Pie, and as she looked away from the water she was greeted with the smell of cotton candy. Pinkie Pie froze. "Pinkie, what's wrong? We didn't come all the way too Candy Mountain for nothing, did we..?" Fluttershy asked with a worried tone. "This.. is... THE BEST THING EVER!" Pinkie Pie yelled, jumping high into the air and landing tail-first in the water. //-------------------------------------------------------// Snuggle - PressStart //-------------------------------------------------------// Snuggle - PressStart Rarity has been in love with her dear Fluttershy for a month now. The only problem was that because Fluttershy is always shy about her feelings. She practically she her friend run away crying when Big Mac wanted to go out with her. A knock came from the front door downstairs and Rarity ran as fast as she could. Rarity quickly opened the door to see a butter yellow pegasus mare with a silky pink mane and a bright smile.      "Fluttershy? What are you doing here?" Rarity asked. The fact that she had feelings for Fluttershy made her want Fluttershy to leave. The shy mare tilted her head to the side.      "Oh, silly. Did you forget about our weekly trip to the spa?" Fluttershy asked letting out a soft giggle.      "Darin' no. I would never." Rarity said hoping she can keep her feelings in check.      "You missed the last couple of times." Fluttershy said still smiling brightly, which made Rarity quite nervous.      "I was... busy! Yes that's right, I was busy." Rarity said letting out a nervous laugh. Fluttershy then started to pull Rarity.      "Let's go! I'll help you out with your order later, deal?" Fluttershy said excited to spend the day with her best friend. The two of them made it to the spa and Fluttershy asked aloe for the number seven.      "Fluttershy, that's the private hot bath. Are you sure?" Rarity asked nervously. The shy mare giggled again and pulled her into a room that aloe had pre-prepared.      "Come on." Fluttershy said and got in the water. Rarity gulped and got in across from her. She was planning to stay away from Fluttershy and get out of the spa. That didn't happen though, because while Rarity wasn't paying attention Fluttershy came up next to her.      "Whatcha doing way over here?" Fluttershy asked giggling.      "Fluttershy I..." Rarity didn't even get to finish her sentence, for that Fluttershy kissed her muzzle. The soft lips against her muzzle made Rarity's face bright red. Once Fluttershy stopped she smiled and giggled.      "Why did you do that?" Rarity asked and Fluttershy smuggled up to Rarity, placing her head on Rarity's chest.      "You think that I didn't know? Why else did I pick the private hot bath." Fluttershy said softly. Rarity put her arms around Fluttershy and smiled. They then snuggled in the spa until closing. //-------------------------------------------------------// Blushing - contodaslasganas //-------------------------------------------------------// Blushing - contodaslasganas “I’m sorry, Twa- Twil- Tw-AAAHHCHOOOO!” Rainbow Dash held a small bag of ice to her forehead. “I know how much you were looking forward to practice today, b-b-b-ah-ah…” The pegasus managed to contain her sneeze and continued. “But I’m too sick. I hope you d—” “Of course I don’t mind, Rainbow Dash! Do you need anything else? How about a blanket? Or a thermometer?” In less than a second, the measuring device was in Rainbow’s mouth as Twilight levitated the nearest blanket over to her. “Twilight, no, I don—” “I know! You need a hot cup of tea!” The alicorn rushed over towards the kitchen. Unfortunately, Rainbow’s tablecloth had extended down to the floor, and in Twilight’s haste her hooves had gotten tangled in the fabric. CRASH “TWILIGHT!” “Yes, Rainbow?” In an instant, as if nothing had happened, Twilight appeared right by her side, a small teacup in her hoof. “Twilight, I don’t need all of this. I just need some rest.” “Are you sure? From all the books I read I kn—” “Look, Twilight, I’ll be fine, but I don’t want you to stay cooped up in here.” Pointing to the open window, Rainbow continued. “It’s a nice day outside, and you still need to practice flying. Just remember the exercises I taught you. Or better yet… “Fluttershy, could you help her?” “Oh, to fly? Of course, but I’m not really a good flyer…” “Don’t worry, Flutters, you’ll do fine.” “O-okay.” “Are you sure you don’t want me to stay here? What if you start to have another fever? What if you need some water but get so dizzy that you can’t walk straight and you accidentally crash through the window and you tr—” “Twilight! It’s okay. Don’t worry about me.” Rainbow’s smile managed to slowly quell most of Twilight’s fears and doubts. “Oh, if you say so, Rainbow.” Twilight and Fluttershy slowly glided down to the ground and began to walk back to the library. “So Fluttershy, you know all the techniques Rainbow uses to practice?” “Rainbow showed me all of them a little while ago, but I don’t think I can d—” “Perfect!” I don’t have to deviate from my triple-checked schedule! “Okay, I think this is a nice spot. The first thing Rainbow Dash told me was to have a good takeoff.” In the blink of an eye, Twilight was shooting up off the ground, albeit a bit shakily. Fluttershy, astounded at her sudden disappearance, slowly rose up into the air behind her and landed on a nearby cloud. “So, what did you think, Fluttershy?” Twilight appeared right beside the timid pegasus, a small smile forming on her muzzle. “Oh, well, I didn’t really see it because it was too fast, b—” “It was horrible, wasn’t it? Oh well, I just have to keep practicing!” Twilight once again decided to shoot off, but alas, she had forgotten one key piece of advice that Rainbow had divulged in past practices: She forgot to check the surface of the cloud she was on. Upon takeoff, her front hooves collided with a small bump on the cloud surface, skewing her equilibrium as she flapped her wings to no avail. AAAAHHHHHHH! She continued to flap, but each motion failed to straighten her out as she spiraled downward. Eyes closed, she awaited that final impact, that one last shot of pain. Is this how it ends? Will this be my fin— Out of nowhere, a streak of pink and yellow shot towards her with remarkable speed, and she felt… warm. Time seemed to slow as Twilight felt her body decelerate second by second, her breath slowly returning, until she finally decided to open her eyes. It was the sun. No, that wasn’t it. It was the familiar face of her friend, but yet it seemed so different from that angle. Twilight could see the small rivulets of tears streaming down from those sparkling blue eyes, but it was not the sight that had captivated her. No, it was the hooves around her. The warmth was incomparable, so much it made Twilight feel at ease. She was lost in her thoughts, lost in the feelings that surrounded her… Why… Why is my heart beating so fast? A-am I blushing? Yet, as much as Twilight didn’t want the moment to end, Fluttershy touched down on the ground. “Oh Celestia, Twilight, are you okay? Oh, I was so afraid I wasn’t going to catch you, and th-then I started to think about what would happen if you were gone and then I jus—” Twilight stretched out a hoof to her friend’s muzzle, effectively silencing her with a small ‘eep.’ The alicorn took two more steps and wrapped her hooves around Fluttershy. “Thank you, Fluttershy, you saved me!” But this hug was different, and both of them knew it. It lasted much longer than any others they had shared, and yet… neither wanted to let go. The warmth had returned, the relaxing warmth that detached them from the rest of the world. This… why do I feel this way? Fluttershy didn’t have the courage to ask as they separated after what seemed like hours, but they both knew one thing… “I think I’ve had enough practice for one day. Want to head over to Sugarcube Corner and get something to eat?” “I-I’d love to.” They were going to spend much more time together. //-------------------------------------------------------// Muzzle - PressStart //-------------------------------------------------------// Muzzle - PressStart      Applejack finished selling her apples, but today wasn't a normal day. Rainbow Dash accidentally crashed into Applejack, making them both land facefirst on the ground.      "Dangnabit Rainbow! What are ya doing?" Applejack asked in a angry tone. Rainbow then grabbed Applejack and pulled her close, but not muzzle to muzzle.      "Hide me, Rarity is trying to turn me into her!" Rainbow Dash said panicking. Applejack looked at her, a bit surprised at the response she was given.      "Oh,um... I guess ya could hide in ma barn." Applejack said and Rainbow instantly flew off. Applejack finally got to Sweet Apple Acres and entered the barn. Rainbow Dash was laying on a bail of hay.      "RD, please tell me why Rarity is trying to doll you up." Applejack said walking up to her.      "Oh, Sweetie Bell said I'm going out with somepony and Rarity heated to dress me up." Rainbow said sulking. Applejack hugged Rainbow and placed her muzzle close to Rainbow's ear. The hot breath made Rainbow blush.      "Ya want me to hide with ya?" Applejack asked in a sweet whisper. Rainbow grabbed Applejack and kissed her.      "Did you even have to ask?" Rainbow replied and the two laid on the hay kissing the rest of the day. //-------------------------------------------------------// Poison - Ghost Balls //-------------------------------------------------------// Poison - Ghost Balls "Steady, Redheart, steady," the young nurse assured herself. It has April Fool's Day, and everyone else had left the hospital already. She was going to care for a few more patients before she headed home for the day. Nurse Redheart used her other hoof to steady her other one, which held a syringe with a purple liquid in it. Twilight had made it that same day. She claimed it could cure anything in a second, if it was inserted into exactly the right place: behind the crest. Big Mac, the stallion she was treating, was out cold. It would be easier that way, with him being still and all. She neared the syringe to the back of his neck, and pushed down on the plunger. The needle penetrated his skin and it drained out the purple potion. Redheart sighed, and wiped the beads of sweat off of her forehead. She turned around to gather up her tools, when all of a sudden-- "Come here, munchkin." The nurse dismissed it as her imagination. She must be hearing things. "C'mere, munchkin." It's some kids pulling a prank. Everyone else had either cleared out of the hospital or was sleeping/unconsious. "C'MERE, DAMMIT!" Nurse Redheart whipped around to meet the red stallion she had just treated earlier. His eyes were doing some wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey things, but other than that he seemed okay. He also seemed very affectionate towards the mare. The nurse ran out of the room, and grabbed the syringe she was holding seconds earlier. She flipped it over. The label was quite clear: Love Poison. //-------------------------------------------------------// Beauty - kittyhasnosoul //-------------------------------------------------------// Beauty - kittyhasnosoul "Now, Applejack, Darling, stand still!" Rarity said as she tugged on the dress to make it tighter. "Rarity, I can't breathe!" Applejack gasped. "Of course you can't, beauty isn't beauty if it doesn't hurt like going through the gates of Tartarus!" The unicorn shouted. Once she had tightened the dress enough, she smiled then gave the angry Applejack a nuzzle. "There, now you look beautiful." She said as she walked into the kitchen. "I don't care 'bout lookin' 'beautiful', I care 'bout bein' able to breathe!" Applejack said as she attempted to un-tighten the dress. "Love, please don't hurt the dress! It took ever-so long to make it match your style, and no fabric matches your coat perfectly except ugly brown!" Applejack angrily grunted, "Maybe there's a reason for that.." Rarity walked up to Applejack and gave her a light kiss, when it ended she asked, "Now will you stop complaining about the dress and have some tea?" "Hmm..." Applejack thought for a moment before saying, "..Nah." //-------------------------------------------------------// Date - kittyhasnosoul //-------------------------------------------------------// Date - kittyhasnosoul Applejack knocked on the door to Golden Oaks Library, waiting expectantly for a purple unicorn to answer the door. Surely enough, the door opened and there stood the pony in question. "Hello, Applejack. What are you doing here?" Twilight asked, smiling genuinely. Applejack straightened her hat with her hoof before saying, "I'm here t' pick ya up for our date, remember?" Applejack watched as Twilight's eyes widened in realization, "That was today?! Oh my gosh, Applejack. I'm so sorry, I totally forgot!" Twilight grinned nervously. "Would you excuse me for a moment?" with that, she took off inside the library and up the wooden staircase into her bedroom. Twilight used her magic to open up her dresser drawer, and began rapidly searching for something to wear. "Too frilly," she said, throwing a dress over her shoulder with her magic. "Too causal," said Twilight, throwing a plaid shirt over her shoulder. "Ah-ha!" she said, holding up the small yellow dress that Rarity had made her on her birthday almost three years ago. She quickly used the spell that Rarity had taught her a few months ago that put clothes onto ponies without struggle, then rushed out of her bedroom back to the doorway, where Applejack was waiting. Twilight took a moment to catch her breath, "So.. Applejack.. Where.. Are we... Going.. Too... Eat.. At?" Applejack grinned, "I was thinkin' we could eat at Sugarcube Corner." Twilight raised an eyebrow at her date, "And eat only sugar for dinner?" Applejack leaned in to nuzzle Twilight, "If ya' get tierd of sweets, then we can go back 't Sweet Apple Acres and eat sandwiches." Applejack smiled, and Twilight smiled back at her. "That's better," she said, wrapping a wing around Applejack. //-------------------------------------------------------// Manehatten - Little Jackie Papercut //-------------------------------------------------------// Manehatten - Little Jackie Papercut As a foal Pipsqueak never stayed in one town long enough to develop a real attachment to it, though he did have fond memories of a few. When he grew up, he continued traveling, the only life he had ever known, seeing everything in Equestria. The first place he settled down for more than a few months was Manehattan. There was always more to see in that city, a life that suited him perfectly. While there, he visited a few nightlife hotspots, but his favorite was a bar near the Orange Hotel. There, he found a perfect drinking buddy. Her name was Babs Seed. She was an heiress of one of the wealthiest families in Manehattan, not that she ever talked about that. She just wanted good friends and good cider. And him. Celestia, she wanted him. At first he was just that out-of-towner with the most interesting stories she’d ever heard, but talking to him night after night, she began to realize he was smart, funny and hot. So a few months later, when he said the urge to travel had caught up with him again, and he’d be moving on in a week, it hurt. It hurt enough for her to make a stupid proposition. Since he was going to be gone in a week, she said, they might as well mess around a little, right? Well, that got his attention. Every night that week, after they left the bar, they’d head back to his apartment and have some fun. She never told him she was in love with him. He didn’t find out until a few years later, on Nightmare Night, when both of them decided to visit a little town from their youth. When they bumped into each other, and, through the confusion that comes with an impossible coincidence, she managed to say, "There’s somepony I want you to meet…" //-------------------------------------------------------// Passionate - furryman //-------------------------------------------------------// Passionate - furryman Rainbow was livid when she saw Applejack kissing Fluttershy. (Actually she’s cyan, but never mind that) Storming over to them, she wiped the rain from her eyes and avoided a thunderbolt. “What are you doing with my girlfriend?” Rainbow exclaimed. “Your girlfriend? The only reason she goes out with ya is because she’s too timid ta turn ya down.” Applejack snarled. “Funny, I was just about to say the same thing about you.” Rainbow spat. “Now girls there’s no reason to fight.” Fluttershy whispered. “Yer right sugarcube! There’s only one way at settle this, ya gotta choose one of us.” Applejack stated. Fluttershy suddenly wished she had the power to vanish into the ground. How could she hurt either one of her friend’s feelings? Suddenly Fluttershy had a bizarre thought. Blushing deeply (how can a creature covered with fur blush anyway?) Fluttershy spoke. “I don’t suppose you’d both want to date me together?” she whispered. Her two friends looked shocked then intrigued at this suggestion. Rainbow and Applejack studied each other. “You are very pretty.” Rainbow mumbled, looking down bashfully. “I’ve always been attracted to ya’ll sugarcube.” Applejack replied. “Then it’s agreed?” Rainbow asked. Applejack nodded and then smiled mischievously. “How ‘bout we celebrate back at Fluttershy’s house? “Great idea!” Rainbow said. The two of them grabbed Fluttershy and tugged her towards her house. “But…” Fluttershy objected. Two passionate kisses silenced the yellow Pegasus’ objections. The End
