A Journey of a Stranger

The Guide of Fate stealthy rolls after the fake Leon. The fake Leon walks over a side of a seesaw and as soon as the guide rolls over it, it suddenly launches in the air. The fake Leon glances behind himself to see Big Mac on one side of the seesaw while he places a rag doll on the other side. The fake Leon smiles as he looks away and hides a schedule in one of his pockets.

The Guide of Fate flies over the fence and lands in a passing by delivery cart being pulled by a mailstallion with new glasses. The guide is trapped in the letter bag unable to get out.

After a couple deliveries, the bag opens and the guide finally escapes the bag but into a purple claw.

The claw’s owner (Spike) gives the compass back to thr mailstallion and says, “Here’s you’re compass back.”

The mailstallion says, “That’s not mine and there’s no tag in it.”

The guide tries to roll away but Spike grabs it. The guide struggles so much that Spike has to hold it with both of his claws.

Spike says to the compass, “I’ve got to take you to Twilight.”

He rushes back to his home and after a few minutes, the compass stops struggling.

Spike says as he gets in his home, “Twilight! Twil…”

The compass thrusts itself on Spike’s forehead and magically attaches to it. Spike screams as the compass becomes a third eye and then Spike becomes silent.

Hoofsteps are heard coming down stairs. As a purple alicorn comes into view, Spike quickly grabs his foot and starts jumping with his third eye closed.

Twilight comes in the room and asks, “Spike, What’s wrong?”

Spike replies while jumping, “I hit my foot on the door.”

Twilight asks, “Do you need some soothing cream?”

Spike says as he walks up stairs, “I can walk this off and sitting on my bed for a minute, couldn’t hurt.”

Twilight says, “Ok if you say so, but don’t forget to finish your list for the day, my Number 1 Assistant.”

Spike says, “I’ll be quick.”

Spike, going into his bed, curls up and opens his new eye. He sees visions of what might and will happen today scattered all over the room.

He says to himself, “hmm, this is less than usual.”

Spike concentrates and pulls in a vision. It shows Leon being put inside of a crate by the metal men. The crate makes a strange glow as it closes. The glow disappears as quickly as it appeared. The metal men are getting prepared for a march to the Everfree Forest and then, the vision ends.

Spike pulls in a few more visions and learns that the metal men have some friends in the background and there is going to be a team of hunters that are going to ambush to them.

Spike quickly thinks of a plan and he quickly writes a letter to his roommate.

Dear Twilight,

I am trying out a magic scroll or two I got from a traveling sellspony. I will be back soon.

From, Spike

P.S. Don’t drink the carrot juice, it’s too bubbly.

Spike’s new eye gathers magic and teleports him away from his tree home.

Within moments, Twilight gallops upstairs and sees Spike is gone. She finds his letter that dropped on the floor and she reads it.

After reading the letter, Twilight looks at it confused and asks herself, too bubbly? She uses her magic to get a glass of carrot juice, looks at it, and then smells it.

Twilight says to herself, “It seems fine to me.”

She drinks some of it and licks her lips at the great taste. Suddenly, she burps out a few orange bubbles out of her mouth and drops the glass.

Meanwhile nearby Fluttershy’s cottage, Spike appears in a show of glowing silver light. Spike feels burning on his third eye and part of his brain. He groans on the ground in pain but tries to hide the sound of pain with his claws.

Spike says under his breath, “Owww, I forgot abooout how much telepor… por… porting with a non mag…gical creature was.

Spike struggles to get to Fluttershy’s cottage.

After a couple of steps, Spike sees Discord and says, “Wait Dis…”

Discord teleports away.

Spike says as he slams his fist on the ground, “Damn Leon’s impatience.”

Spike struggles to get to the fence and says to himself, “Now I have to save him, the hard way.”

Spike looks around for a few allies and eventually see something big coming out of the Cottage. He smiles after seeing the body’s faces.

Spike says softly, “Perfect.”
