I'm not sure what possessed me to do what I did or why did I even put myself in harm's way. Well, I blame fluttershy. It was around sunset in the Everfree Forest. I had decided to introduce myself to Fluttershy while she was on her way home. I had been following her for about an hour just waiting for the right moment. I mean, I wasn't complaining. Watching Fluttershy go about her day is somewhat calming. Not to mention, listening to her sing with her soothing voice, it just made me want to donate money to some orphanage or something, but I managed to keep my evil and not run towards the nearest orphanage while crying and wishing for world peace (not like Equestria needs that). Anyway, getting back on track I was just about to step out of the shadows and say hello when a timber wolf jumped out of the bushes and locked its jaws around Fluttershy's hoof and caused her to cry out in pain. My eyes widened as I saw the event unfold but after five seconds I had run over to the wolf and Fluttershy and I stuck my hands in between its open maw and pulled them apart freeing Fluttershy's hoof from the wolf's grip. Once Fluttershy was out of danger I went into a rage my vision went hazy and everything that happened after is a blur. I just remember standing over a pile of broken wood, the remains of the wolf, but that's not what was bothering me it was the look Fluttershy was giving me. It caused me no small amount of pain. Don't get me wrong, I love causing fear and I love it when creatures start to cry slightly but when you get that look from Fluttershy you just end up wondering if your life is worth living, but me being who I am I managed to find a reason. We both stayed there staring at each other until the pain from her hoof caused her to cry out quietly. My eyes widened as I realized that she was hurt. I walked over to her and crouched down so I was at her level. She sort of curled up and that hurt me. But I needed to check her wound to make sure it wasn't going to cause her too much pain. I held my hand out and she looked at it, fear evident in her eyes, but she slowly held her hoof out for me to look at. I gently grabbed a hold of her hoof and she shivered due to the coldness of my armor but she didn't pull away. So I checked her hoof over and it appeared to be fine but just to be on the safe side I casted a healing spell and she stared shocked as her cut flesh and ripped skin sealed back up and all that was left was a few small scars in their place. She brought her eyes to stare into mine and she spoke two words in the very hushed voice that Fluttershy is known for, the two words "thank you". I smiled under my mask and stood up. I nodded and I cast one more spell sending Fluttershy back to her cottage and then I cast the same spell but mine took me to my home. Now I sit here writing this down into this journal hoping the reason for my reactions today will come to me but so far nothing. I'd like to start this entry by saying that Today was a very interesting day, I happened to be scouting the woods just outside my fortress when I was hit by a blue speeding blur, known as rainbow dash. I'm not gonna lie that mare is a lot heavier than she looks, it took me about twenty seconds to realise that she wasn't a rock. After I had managed to remove her from my ribcage, using a well placed (and maybe a little over powered) force push. She was sent flying into a tree headfirst, at first I thought I might have killed her but then she sat up and shook it off so all is okay. Once she had caught sight of me she looked at me with fear, and also the slightest hint of awe (I have that effect on the ladies.) I was having trouble trying to figure out how she had got this close to my fortress, when she stood up and flew over to me, and to my dismay started asking questions. "What are you? Why is your face flat? Why do you only have two legs? Can you fly? Why is your mask so cool?" I mask palmed and sighed, as she continued to fire of random questions. At one point I felt like sealing her mouth shut with a spell but decided that if I did that, I might not get invited to the element bearers meeting of coolness. (no really I've read in my reports once that rainbow actually used that phrase) So instead I just nodded yes and no at every question she sent my way, after about an hour of interrogation by detective dash, she said she had to leave to do some cool stuff. So she left me in peace to try and find what was left of my calmness, (not gonna lie it was bloody hard to find) just as she was leaving she told me that I was cool, (Fuck yeah!!!) and to come to ponyville some day so that we could hang together. My mood went up slightly from the comment about me being cool but then it went down after she mentioned hanging out together, I pushed that very concept very deep into the corner of my mind. I nodded and she flew off, so I continued my scouting and then returned to my fortress where I am now writing this, while drinking hard cider (some of apple jacks that a changeling had acquired some how) hoping to forget this experience. Maybe I will take up rainbow's offer of visiting ponyville some time soon, hopefully I won't get experimented on by twilight. (she's into doing weird stuff!) Anyway I'm going to finish this flagon then head up to the hive and meet with chrysalis and discuss the plans for the second assault on canterlot, this time however I am doing the planning so things should go smoothly. My meeting with chrysalis went well, her forces are mobilising for the assault on canterlot. It wasn't easy getting her to agree to my plan but after some swift talking, (and maybe just the slightest bit of blackmail) she finally relented and resigned her command over to me and my assistant. Now that I had command of the millions of pissed off changelings, I decided to set my plan into motion. I sent my assistant to the east to attack manehattan along with a massive amount of my forces, she should arrive there by tonight. And once she is there she will unleash the full fury of my wrath upon the helpless citizens of manehattan, and princess Celestia will have no choice but to send her forces to assist the city's small force of guards. Leaving canterlot virtually undefended and ripe for the taking, which by that point my vanguard assisted by the left over changelings will breach the city and begin taking a hold of the royal palace. At that time I shall be above canterlot in my airship 'The Dark Star' Its a little gift that the Void sent me, I found it crashed in the everfree forest one day and decided that I had to have it. So since then I've had changeling engineers working on it, Returning it to its former glory and I must say she is a marvel. Eight turbine engines power the four propellers giving her and amazing amount of speed, then there are the rotary cannons that are mounted on the side perfect for shooting pesky Pegasi out of the sky. And I can't forget the main attraction, the thermobaric bombs. These bombs are the most powerful weapon I've ever happened to come across, the way they work is by igniting the oxygen in the air. Which means if I were to drop one on canterlot... Well let's just say I wouldn't want to be the one on clean up duty. However I don't want to have to use these bombs unless there is no other way, I want to keep canterlot for my self. I'm going to use the archives to find a way to get back to albion, but if I don't find a way back at least I'll have a load of cool new toys to wreak havoc with. Ether way I'm sure to have some fun unless the elements happen to appear, then I might have to get my sword dirty. Well, I guess I should start this entry by warning you, I've completely lost my marbles. I was just sitting in my armoury, trying to figure out what cape I should wear to canterlot, when one of my changelings fashion sense, came into my armoury And started accusing me of stealing his red dragon slippers. I went completely ape shit, at him over how I didn't steal his bloody slippers, when he went and shot me with a crossbow... A fucking crossbow of all things, where does one even find such a device in equestria never mind learning to use one with hooves. Let's just say I wasn't exactly merry after that incident, I'm also gonna have to get chrysalis to loan me a new captain, yes fashion sense was a captain... I don't know how she expected to capture canterlot with ponies like him, well he is a good shot, my wounded shoulder can testify to that. Anyway, I had to then go see the medic, who is a doctor by name, so bones stitched me up and then proceeded to ask me about getting a raise, a raise of all things, I polity declined and he threw a bottle of disinfectant at me. So I left him to have his rant alone and went back to my armoury, and I'm still having trouble deciding what cape I should wear, black or red... Its such a hard choice. //-------------------------------------------------------// Jack is Back //-------------------------------------------------------// Jack is Back Nightmare Moon failed me. Discord failed me. Queen Chrysalis failed me. King Sombra failed me. All of them have failed me. Now, I can't say that I'm angry with them. They did go up against a power that could rival my own. The Elements of Harmony, the only things that have kept this poor excuse for an kingdom free from my grip. But to think the wielders of such powerful weapons are ponies, and peace loving ones at that. I bet Avo's giving me the finger from wherever he is, and don't go saying to me he is in heaven cause that's a load of BS. I was a god before for about ten minutes, then that blasted hero killed me again, and I'll tell you that was rather annoying. But I can't think about that right now. I need to come up with a new plan to defeat the Elements of Harmony. Maybe I should just reveal myself. I'm sure being what I am would scare them into submission. From what I've been able to dig up about my kind, we haven't been around here for a good couple of thousand years or so and even when we were around it was only one or two every ten years, and from what I've read they happened to be bucking heroes. Maybe I could use this information to my advantage... I could pretend to be a hero and get in close with the element bearers then when the time is right I will take what is rightfully mine, Equestria. But before I do anything maybe I should clear a few things up. I am the Jack of Blades, a ageless being hell bent on causing death and destruction every where I go but for some reason fate has it in for me. First I was defeated at the guild of heroes by the hero of oakvale then I came back as a god, but the damn hero killed me again and I ended up here, equestria. I have been here a while I'd say about three years, I've been gathering my strength so that when I do decide to take this world I'll be as powerful as a god but I'm only about three quarters of the way so I need to bide my time just a little more but I also need to remove the elements from play otherwise it could end up as a repeat of the last two major battles I fought and I can't be bothered to die again, so instead I'm gonna introduce myself to the elements and also the princesses and hopefully find a way to weaken them. While I am making friends I shall record all major events that happen within this journal so that if I need to I can look back at my conquest of equestria.
