United Island's of Harmony: Revolution
Preface
The land was as white as a snow fox's fur.
The blistered had been raging for two days non stop. The effect it had on the men was terrible. It forced them to stay inside there tents and only come out if absolutely necessary. That alone was a huge stab in the camps morale.
Food had begun to run low. The troops were limited to eating only small portions a day, and only once. A realer solder needs about three meals per day to work, fight, and to do basic tasks. The men In this camp only got one meal per day.
Disease had also run ramped threw the camp. Black plague; they call it, was eating the men up like fire to grass. It was unstoppable! The army's few doctors had no clue on how to cure the disease, or at the very least on how to slow down its effects. The Black plague was killing our troops faster than we could dig graves. Hell! It was killing us faster than Princess Cleastias army could.
Yes the camp was in shambles. Body's lay on the ice covered ground; there was no one to bury them, we all where ordered to stay in out tents (except for the unlucky basters who were on guard duty out side in the storm). Food was low, and so was troop morale.
We were told that this would be an easy and fast war: Join the army, train for two weeks, fight for our Independence, kick Cleastias and Lunas ass, win Independence, and ex-princess Twilight sparkle becomes our first elected President.
That was the plan at least.
But now.... * sigh *... the plans going to hell.
Heartfire 4, 1778.
Lieutenant: Spike Sparkle, of the thirteenth musket company. United Island's of Harmony.

“Spike?”
“...”
“...”
“Spike!”
“Um... oh yea, sorry were you talking?” Asked Spike coming out of his daydream. Transferring his gaze to the stillion next to him.
Soren didn't look all to pleased with Spikes recklessness. Shaking his head he looked out onto the distance, the snow was falling fast. It looked like another winter was coming. That would not be good for the militia right now.
“Yea I did” Soren pulled out an envelope from his winter overcoat. “I need you too take this to your sister. And that means NOW!” He grabbed Spikes claw and placed the envelope, closing it tightly.
Spike flinched. “OK geez, calm down Soren, theirs no need to be a dick”.
The Pegasus solder chose to Ignore his comment, and went back to guarding the camp.
Sighing Spike got off his knees and headed torses the center of camp. All around him were white tents, that were once blue, but the snow had covered them all. Troops and there family’s were all around working, resting, or cooking. Guard were placed all around, with muskies at the ready.... Just in case.
A young colt ran past Spike, nearly knocking him off his feet.
“Hey! Watch where your going kid!” He exclaimed, but the colt had all ready gone around another tent.
Sighing for the seconded time that day Spike walked a few more steps. Coming up to a large, heavy guarded tent. It was General Twilight’s tent.
Walking torses the tent flap Spike was stopped by a hand to the chest.
“Hey, what gives?” Spike asked clearly pissed.
“Sorry sir, but General Twilight dose not want to see anyone right now” Said the very buff tent guard.
Spike was already in a bad mood, and this guy was only making him more ticked.
“I'm Spike, Twilight's brother! Let me in!” Spike tried to push past the large stallion. But to no avail.
Spike was pushed to the ground. The guard stood over him.
“Now hear this kid” Did he just all me a.. kid? I'm bucking 18! “Twilight has no brother, and she wants to be left al-
“Whats going on here?”
The guard and Spike both turned there head torse the sounds maker. Standing there at the entrance of her tent was Twilight. Her outfit was more complicated than the plane white, blue and red solder issued uniforms that we were given. Her attire consisted of fancy gold solderers pads, fancy hat, and all kinds of fancy shit that Rarity had made for her. Spike didn't really care about her outfit right now, but was more fixed on her eyes. She was pissed. But not at Spike, no, but at her guard.
