The Return of The Golden King
Damn dimensional manipulating vampires
It is truly remarkable how little it takes to fuck up an entire series of events pivotal to the plans of an immortal sun goddess. For example you add just one human during the founding of Equestria and the next thing you know a few centuries later things go all kinds of FUBAR. Even a little change such as the addition of one life on a world with almost far too much can have such wonderfully chaotic consequences. For example you take just one teeny tiny little human, and give him bit of power so they can survive the trip, then the next thing you know all sorts of things start occurring that change everything. I mean really how was I supposed to guess just how much chaos he would bring? Okay for a while he made a few small changes that didn't affect anything too bad and then it got really serious and it looks like the future would be even better than it already would be, something I must commend him for because making such a candy coated world even sweeter is not very easy, but nope the world just decides to railroad it all back to how it should be. Next thing you know its been a few quiet centuries as everything looks to be in order only to find out it's all going tits up and those changes you thought weren't a big deal turn out to be HUGE problems that is going to change way too much for comfort.
Still it makes sense that one would not think everything is going to fly off the rails just looking at the current situation, after all everything looks as it should to the untrained eye. Celestia is sitting on her throne worrying about the return of the sister she banished to the moon and if her student will be able to use the elements of harmony to save her, Twilight is using Spike to send a letter about said sister despite the fact she could just walk a short distance and talk to the princess face to face, Spike is still stuck being the chew toy of the universe, Dissy is still stuck in stone bored out of his wits and “planning” some beautiful chaos for when he returns, Nightmare Moon prepares to finally achieve glorious vengeance upon “she of the luminous flank”, Chrysalis plots to take over the land of ponies and steal all of their love, and Ponyville is preparing for the Summer Sun Celebration with Rainbow Dash being lazy, Applejack enjoying the presence of her extended family, Pinkie being Pinkie (Never can predict that one),Rarity fussing over the design, and Fluttershy teaching birds how to sing for solar royalty. You could be forgiven for thinking that nothing has changed, but like I said the addition of just one life can change everything for better or for the worse.
You see things that are alive or even sometimes dead tend to do lots of stuff and powerful things tend to make names for themselves by doing stuff that shapes history itself, so when I sent some poor idiot to another world, with the powers of the original king for a few laughs, and he decides to be part of the story then the regular time-line tends to just go all wibbly wobbly shattering it and getting a certain man (or pony in some cases) a bit frustrated with you, therefore you can see that even if it looks the same small changes will ensure that not all goes according to plan. With new history comes new legends and therefore new books that speak of those legends. Books Celestia sealed away so he would be forgotten just like how she pushed his memory into the back of her mind for so long, but he was a friend to Equestria and friends are not so easily forgotten. His role in the tale of Nightmare Moon stayed in the book Twilight took before it could be taken away, and with him altering history so much and all reference of him sealed there was a change of the royal library. This lead to Twilight taking too much time to reorganize it and not being able to return it so it could be sealed away.
That one small change determined the path this story will now go. Celly trying to seal him away to the point even she forgot about him will affect the plans of just about everyone I have mentioned in some form or another, and this in turn will change the lives of those who will come into contact with the poor man who was backstabbed and thrown away by those he so fervently aided. The common ponies forgetting the debt they owed, the plans he set up for his return, the enemies he left behind, the star-crossed love between those a millennium has cruelly distorted, the betrayal of a friend, and Twilight in possession of the last scrap of information ponykind had on him that she must now take to ponyville with her and in so doing shall have a resource to utilize for when the forlorn soul arrives will all set the stage for the show about to go on.
For deep in the pit of Tartarus the one who lost all he cared for twice over is making his way out and is about to put on one hell of a show.“The Return of The Golden King” should be so entertaining to view, truly such a wonderful possibility of the multiverse that should be shared. I can only wonder why I did not induce such a possibility for my viewing pleasure sooner. MAGIC for all the shit it puts you through sure can be fun sometimes, don't you think? After all this is only one possibility for this man, even if I did push to see the start of this whole adventure there is another universe where this didn't ever happen to him or a completely different set of events happening from my intervention thus absolving me of guilt because this had to happen because this is the reality where this happen, so stop judging me and just enjoy.

For those of you who read my blog post and thought "What is taking him so long?" I say that I hate intro chapters with a passion because I suck at them not to mention I have no clue what I am doing when it comes to putting it exactly the way I want it on the site because I am somehow able to continually screw it up somehow. Still I do know where I want the story to go and will try to set up a stable update schedule. Thank you for reading,
The Return of The Golden King
Well now I wasn't expecting that the idiot I threw into a new world to be quite as interesting as he turned out to be. I thought he would just drop in and cause a bit of chaos with his very existence and a bit of fighting later either die or take over. At first I didn't know how to react to being proven wrong, after all he was stuck in a new body with far more potential then he could handle all while in a new world with strange creatures that would most likely be terrified of such an existence as he, and yet he managed to befriend them with his power, charisma, and assistance from a unicorn that had a rather impressive beard for his age.
While an impressive feat I was almost disappointed for now his story would be much more predicable. I mean come on we all know where this is going right? The whole "I am now hero so I must be all noble and helpful and tragic end blah blah blah" shtick was done to death and even if villains were starting to get dull in this universe I was certain he would do something new enough to entertain, but after a bit he did indeed manage to do something so monumentally stupid that I simply wanted to just pop down there and give him a hug for deciding to bring back the fun. He managed to create a new chaotic god that simply loved destruction.
You see after he had to help put down the old god of chaos and bitching about how one of the only friends he had went crazy and had to be turned to stone he decided that there ought to be a way for higher beings to be contained while showing that they could be reformed and given a second chance.
Now here is where it gets interesting because Bearded Idiot and Golden Idiot decided to combine their styles of magecraft together in an attempt to create the type of prison they were hoping for, so they went to some hidden forbidden holy ground, and wouldn't you know it with a feat of magical manipulation that bordered a GODDAMN SORCERY the two half-assed idiots somehow turned into a whole ass and created what could only be described as an unholy bastard patchwork abomination of two totally different incompatible styles of magic that under no circumstance should have ever worked AT ALL in a universe that has any benevolent deity lording over it. It did look nice though being a giant golden door in laden with jewels and shiny mystic runes.
After my brain decided that it could accept such an existence I noticed where they went wrong with their little soul prison that somehow decided it was okay to exist in such a manner, they basically made a "hell" where when one was thrown in all your faults and sins would come to life and test you to see if you could overcome your desire to murder/rape things and show you desired peace, hell even if you died in there the gate would restore your body so no harm done, but they forgot to input a mechanism to keep the souls in there separate from each other.
I watched as he threw them in there and the souls of the previous "tenants" ripped the newcomer apart and was added to the mix. Eventually it could be called a singular instinct driven existence similar to that thing that corrupted the holy grail that Tohsaka girl said was the reason it had to be destroyed by Excalibur of all things, if it was also suffering from multiple personality disorder. It was nowhere near the level of power that concentrated blob of malice managed to give off, but thanks to the quality of the souls put in the mix it was definitely a "conceptual" existence.
If that grail thing could be called a concept of "evil" then this thing could be called "chaos" after all it was basically a giant formless mass of souls fighting for dominance over their shared power so that they could achieve their shared goal but only in their own way thus making it a being of eternal flux and conflict or chaos. This "chaos" was far more interesting than the "chaos" of the new lawn ornament of the royal sisters, you see his "chaos" is the product of "alter" and "create" while the "chaos" of this new beast was centered around the far more violent "distort" and "destroy" thus making it far more dangerous.
Now my excitement was at an all time high, I mean here I thought that there would be no more conflict after Dissy was sealed and everything would be the exact same, but no he decides to really throw a wrench in the works by trying to make everything better. He defends the new country from those who would attack it, carries out diplomatic meanings, becomes a symbol of hope and kindness to the ponies, and accidentally creates a new god of chaos that could really turn the whole universe on its head so guess everything didn't work out as planned, but really who would have guessed that the hero would literally make his own villain and such a dangerous one at that. So I kept waiting for that to go somewhere but it never really came up again, and that just irritated me I mean how perfect of a set-up for a climactic battle between good and evil does the universe NEED TO START THE DAMN THING!?
After that I just got bored because all that he did wouldn't make much of a difference a new legend about him and a few new laws would be the only staying contributions to this universe because this universe is apparently a railroading bitch. You try to help your friend Discord be accepted and he still gets turned into stone, you try and help others get a second chance by making a deformed mutilated magical miracle gate and you get a new god of chaos that can't ever escape because it can't create a cohesive will to get out thus making it a useless existence, and you try and help your moon pony lover with some issues but nope still going to the moon bitch. I go though all that trouble to get basically the same ending, so yeah it just disappointing with how little his life managed to change anything.
I was going to just give up on that universe and send five idiots to another Equestria when I got the strange pleasure of having my expectations proven wrong again. It seems that his interactions with some ponies made subtle changes to events that only now were starting to bear fruit. He attempted a coup against that crazy sun pony and apparently she managed to win because he didn't want to kill any of her soldiers so they just whittled him down until they could restrain him.
He proved my predictions wrong for the third time when he got thrown into his own soul prison considering it was the only thing strong enough to hold him and I thought it would be the end of him, because it would be a perfect ironic ending having the human that tried to do good get destroyed by the evil his intentions created and there is no way that a regular person could survive that place and that thing he created. So there I am about to commend him for the somewhat boring but still well written little show he put on and was going to evaluate the worth of his life in Equestria and how much he really changed it when I saw him endure the being he created. It didn't make sense at all. No person should endure that. No person can endure that. Yet for all that he suffered and no matter how close he was to breaking he was able to endure. It seems the little bastard had more in common with the King of Heroes than I thought if he can resist a conceptual existence hell bent on assimilating him. Or maybe the original King just decided to help the "faker" out? Does it really matter anymore?
I now know what I should do. I need to study this universe. The potential one life has for change is enormous. I realize that more than ever now. I need to find out exactly how everything can change due to him, after all Celestia is now ordering all information on him sealed away so nobody ever finds out how much blood he spilled to protect the new county and all the good he did because then everyone would ask why he was sealed away in Tartarus and Tia would have to spill some very dirty secrets. Luna was still on the moon but now I wonder how having "Gil" as such a close friend changed her and how it will come to play in one-thousand years. Finally "Gilgamesh" is fighting the forces of hell and clawing his way out and if he does get out he will be a different man. If he does get out there is no way I am taking my eyes off this universe. Not when the return of the gold king has so much potential to be so much fun.

Before you ask yes this journal entry is from an earlier time than the first one which is why in this chapter the narrator doesn't really get the weight of a life when he did in the first one. Next the month of April in the year 2014 AD can go turn into a schoolgirl and go star in a tentacle hentai until I no longer hate it with a burning passion. Third on the list is saying that for those of you who want to see things from "Gil's" POV will get your wish on Chapter 3. Finally did any of you know that there is another F/SN crossover with Gil called Return of the Golden King on Fimfiction? http://www.fimfiction.net/story/188969/return-of-the-golden-king Personally I think it's great we have another F/SN crossover on the site and am hoping for one with Archer just to see him try to be his cynic jerk self in such a happy world, or one with Kotomine just because Kotomine. At any rate I wish the author luck and likes though considering I am writing about Gilgamesh I must act as an arrogant prick occasionally to help me better understand his character, therefore I feel obligated to do this next bit in the name of ART.
