//-------------------------------------------------------// Runaway Sweetie: Off The Hook? -by DerpyWings345- //-------------------------------------------------------// //-------------------------------------------------------// Let Off The Hook? //-------------------------------------------------------// Let Off The Hook? Sweetie Belle cuddled up close to Storm Star, tears in her eyes. Storm Star the pegasus, had rescued Sweetie Belle from her evil sister, Blood Moon. In return, Sweetie Belle had given Storm Star a home, with herself and Rarity. "Are you sure your ok?" Storm Star asked. "I-I t-think so." Sweetie Belle wiped her eyes. Sweetie Belle had been having trouble sleeping, since the events that had happened to her. In her imagination, she kept on seeing Blood Moon creeping into her room, just about to stab her with a knife. In her dreams, she saw herself in the Rainbow Factory. She was locked in that machine again, that almost killed her. Blood Moon pulled the lever and that sharp blade came closer and closer, piercing Sweetie's body and sucking out her very flesh. Sweetie Belle had woken up very night, and had ran downstairs crying to Storm Star, who was sleeping on her blue, blow-up bed. (Rarity couldn't afford a proper bed for Storm Star yet.) Storm Star was Sweetie's hero. Sweetie Belle felt safe tucked under her warm, grey wings. They had become very close friends. Family even! Sweetie Belle felt Storm Star's blue mane. It was the same style as Fluttershy's, quite straight and VERY soft. Storm Star rested her head by Sweetie Belle's and they both fell asleep within a matter of minutes. "Hmm, sleeping with Storm are you again, Sweetie?" Rarity asked. Sweetie Belle woke up startled. She rolled off the blow-up bed, making Rarity giggle. Sweetie Belle yawned. "Storm Star! It's morning! Get up!" Sweetie Belle tried to shake Storm Star furiously, but it came more along the lines of a gentle nudge. It woke Storm Star up nonetheless. "Gaaaaah, morning Sweetie Belle, Rarity!" Storm Star stretched her wings, "What's for breakfast?" "Eggs, hay sausages, toast and beans!" Rarity replied, walking into the kitchen and getting out pots and pans. "Ha, beans! I remember that song you sang once," Sweetie Belle giggled, "Beans beans, the love of the heart. The more you eat the more you fa-" "Sweetie Belle! That was a long time ago! I didn't know you were downstairs, listening to me!" Rarity interupted. "Yeah, I remember. You were singing it while baking beans and shaking your flank!" Sweetie Belle began rolling on the floor with laughter. Rarity glared for a moment, but soon rolled her eyes and continued cooking. Storm Star played tic-tac-toe with Sweetie Belle until breakfast was done. Every pony sat at the table and tucked in. Sweetie Belle and Storm Star joked around together and chatted. Rarity ate her breakfast in a posh way, watching them play 'sausage wars'. The both had their sausages on their forks on kept on bashing each other's sausage. Whoever pony's sausage falls off first wins. Rarity watched as the greasy sausages were bashed together, grease spitting everywhere. "Enough!" Rarity finally shouted, sick of the grease spitting everywhere, "Storm, you should know better and Swee-" "Don't talk to Storm Star like that!" Sweetie Belle said firmly. Rarity looked shocked. "Don't you talk back to me, missy!" Rarity shouted. "We were just having fun! I never have this much fun with you!" Sweetie Belle shreiked. Rarity turned red. "HOW DARE YOU! WE HAVE PLENTY OF FUN TOGETHER AND YOU KNOW IT! YOU JUST DON'T TRY AND HAVE FUN WITH ME!" Rarity screamed. "AND YOU NEVER APPRECIATE WHAT I DO FOR YOU! YOU DIDN'T APPRECIATE ME EDITING YOUR DRESS OUT OF LOVE AND LOOK AT WHERE THAT GOT YOU AND ME!" Sweetie Belle boomed. Storm Star stood up. Rarity and Sweetie Belle looked at her. There were tears spilling out of her eyes. She began sobbing and ran out of the house. "STORM STAR!" Sweetie Belle ran after her, leaving Rarity alone in the house. She began crying too. "STORM STAR?!" Sweetie Belle shouted. It was pouring with rain. It was still February, so it was bitter cold. Sweetie Belle shivered in the hard rain and cold breeze. Sweetie Belle kept on looking for Storm Star, but came to avail. Until she looked up at a rooftop... There, was Storm Star, wiping her eyes. "Storm Star!" Sweetie Belle ran at and jumped onto the rooftop. She grapped onto the edge, struggling to get up. Luckily, Storm Star lended a hoof and the two sat on the rooftop together, ignoring the bitterness and soaking wet. "Are you ok, Storm Star?" Sweetie Belle asked, snuggling up to Storm Star. "I...I'm fine, Sweetie Belle. It's just, my life has been full of shouting, arguing and pain. I love you and Rarity, but I hate fighting and arguing..." Storm Star wiped her eyes again, and put one of her wet wings around Sweetie Belle. After a few minutes of peace, Storm Star took Sweetie Belle back into their house. They both went up to the bathroom and dried off with some towels. They hugged each other. Sweetie knew that Rarity might not always be tolerable, but Storm Star sure was... Rarity didn't talk to either of them that day. She was in her room all day, sewing fabrics together, trying to make this and that. That night, Storm Star tucked Sweetie Belle into her bed and kissed her forehead. "Remember, Sweetie Belle, Blood Moon isn't here anymore. She can't hurt you, me, or any pony again." Storm Star hugged Sweetie Belle and they shared a smile. Storm Star turned off the lights, and left the room. BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANG! Went the thunder. It was midnight. Sweetie Belle couldn't sleep. She huddled up with Tiffany, her teddy bear. The storm had been going on all of that day. Sweetie didn't know when it was going to end. That wasn't what was bothering her though... The REAL thing that was bothering her, was Rarity. Sweetie Belle kept on having flashbacks of what happened, before she ran away. "THIS THING IS A DRIPPING WRECK! YOU SHOULD FEEL MORE THAN SORRY! GAAAAAAAAAAH!" Rarity screamed in Sweetie Belle's mind. She was just trying to make Rarity happy... That's when Sweetie Belle realized... She had just forgiven Rarity just like that! When she came back, she had instantly forgiven her! Sweetie Belle now wondered if it was the right thing to do... Sweetie Belle tossed and turned before she came to a conclusion... It wasn't the right thing to do... Rarity MUST have punishment. Sweetie Belle woke up screaming, again. She had another Blood Moon nightmare, again. However, Sweetie Belle actually felt glad that she woke up, since of was now 1.00AM. The perfect time to get her plan into action! Sweetie Belle snuck into Rarity's room. She opened Rarity's wardrobe and took out ALL of her dresses. Then, Sweetie snuck back into her own room and hid Rarity's dresses under her bed. She got back into bed and smiled, knowing that tomorrow was garbage day, and Rarity was in for a big shock... "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Rarity screamed. It was Wednesday morning. Rarity must've checked on her dresses, to find them gone. The garbage truck was early that day. It had come to collect the garbage, from Rarity's wheely bins. Rarity searched rapidly all over the place, but she could not find her dresses... but then she heard the noise of the truck. She screamed... could her dresses have been in there?! Rarity dashed downstairs, tears in her blank eyes. "Oh dear, has the garbage truck come already?" Said a noise from upstairs... Rarity looked... It was Sweetie Belle, grinning a dark grin. Rarity yelled and charged at Sweetie Belle. Sweetie Belle tried to run out of the way, but Rarity was too fast... Rarity accidently stabbed her horn into Sweetie Belle's chest... Sweetie Belle coughed up blood, and fainted on the floor, blood spilling everywhere. Rarity looked and screamed. She lay next to Sweetie Belle and began to weep on her small chest, blood dripping from her horn. Storm Star walked upstairs. When she saw what had happened, she screamed. "SWEETIE BELLE! We have to call an ambulance... HOW DID THIS HAPPEN?!" Storm Star shouted, tears forming in her eyes. "I-I- she... I did it... but it was an accident!" Rarity said desperately. "GET OUT OF THE WAY!" Storm Star pushed Rarity hard and came to Sweetie Belle's aid. Tears were spilling out of her eyes. Storm Star rushed downstairs and picked up a phone. "Hello? Nurse Redheart? I need an ambulance to come to the fashion design shop as soon as possible! Bring police too! SWEETIE BELLE IS IN TROUBLE!" Rarity just lay upstairs, helpless... What had she done?! Rarity was at the police station. She was being interviewed by the police. The ambulance and police had arrived at the fashion design shop, and Storm Star told them EVERYTHING. Sweetie Belle was being taken to the hospital, with Storm Star for comfort. Rarity was taken in the police carriage, to the police station. Rarity shifted uncomfotably in her seat, sweating. She had to get this right, or she would be arrested! "So, Rarity, can you calmly tell us what happened?" The police pony asked, sitting in the seat opposite Rarity, and putting his front hooves on the table. Rarity began brething heavily and quickly. What could she tell them!? "Keep calm, miss. Just tell me what happened." The police pony continued to stare at Rarity, his expression serious. "Well... I... I woke up this morning, and I opened my wardrobe. My dresses were gone. I looked everywhere and I couldn't find them. I... I heard the garbage truck outside and I thought they were in there. My sister began laughing from upstairs and I immediately knew that it was her, that had thrown away my dresses. I got so angry... I... I ran up the stairs and charged at her... my... my horn... it went through her chest... she coughed up a pool of blood and fainted... I thought she might of been dead... of course, my new friend- I mean, sister, called you and the ambulance and... GAH!" Rarity broke down into tears. "So, this was accidental?" The police pony asked. Rarity nodded, still crying. "I wouldn't purposely hurt my sister! I would never do that!" Rarity managed to say, through her tears. "Well... then I guess we can't get the princess to execute you..." The police pony mumbled. Rarity began to cry harder. "However... well... I guess... I won't throw you in jail either.... so... how about a 500 bit fine?" "Oh yes! I can do that! Thank you!" Rarity wiped her eyes, relieved that she didn't have to go to jail. Rarity was escorted back to her house. She got 500 bits from her bit safe and she gave them to the police pony. The police pony just thanked her and rode away, without another word. "I have to get to the hospital!" Rarity suddenly remembered. She ran to it and went inside. She looked around and finally saw Sweetie Belle and Storm Star. There were also a bunch of doctors, treating her. Storm Star glared at Rarity and walked over to her. "Get out, Rarity. See what you've done?!" Storm Star snapped. She pointed at Sweetie Belle and the six doctors treating her. "Storm Star... I didn't mean for this to happen. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for my behaviour. I didn't mean for this to happen! You and Sweetie Belle are the most important ponies in my life! I wouldn't give up either of you for the world! Your both my sisters, and you are both my best friends. And I'm sorry if I made you feel like... that was something you had to earn." Storm Star's ears dropped. She looked guilty, like she had when she was hanging around with Blood Moon and Sweetie Belle. "I... I'm sorry too." Storm Star and Rarity embraced and shared a smile. Storm Star and Rarity were unfortunately told to leave for a while. The doctors were operating on Sweetie Belle and they didn't want Storm and Rarity to see it. The two went out of the hospital, comforting one another. A week had passed. Sweetie Belle had thankfully recovered and was ready to come out of the hospital. She was lead out by Rarity and Storm Star, who had been constantly visiting her. That evening, Rarity looked out of her window, at the sunset. Tears were trickling down her face. "Rarity? Are you ok?" Sweetie Belle asked, walking over. Rarity continued to stare out of the window. "Yes. I only have one question..." "Yes?" "Why did you get rid of my dresses?" "I didn't. They are under my bed." "WHAT?!" Rarity ran upstairs and looked under Sweetie's bed. She pulled her dresses from under it and hugged them tight. She walked back into her own room and hung them back onto their rightful hangers. Sweetie Belle followed her. "Sweetie Belle... why did you do it?" "To teach you a lesson. You seemed so strict around me and Storm Star. I was trying to teach you a lesson. You don't know how lucky you are to have something, until it's gone." Sweetie Belle hugged Rarity. "I'm sorry, Sweetie Belle. I'm a terrible sister." Rarity sat on her bed and hid her face in her hooves. "No your not!" Sweetie Belle sat next to Rarity and cuddled up close to her, "Your an amazing sister!" "Y-you... think so?" Rarity asked, tears spilling down her face. "Of course! Your ever so kind to me and Storm Star! You may be strict, but I have never met a sibling that isn't!" Sweetie Belle giggled. The two of them shared a smile, as the Sun went down.
