(Next Morning)

Luke walked into the great hall and to the gardens where he saw Celestia triming some of the roses in the bushes. He came inside the garden as she she looked up and smiled.

"Ah Chief Valentine, Colonel Hartfield is in the garden over there." She said as he nodded.

"Thank you princess."

"You're very welcome Chief Valentine." She said as as she went back to the roses. Luke followed the path towards where he found his commanding officer looking out at the horizon.

"Sir you wanted to see me?" He said as he saluted getting one in return as Colonel Hartfield turned around.

"Chief glad you got here early. I'll make this brief, Im putting you in charge of the team and Princess Celestia is offering me a place to advise her on the situation with the Diamond Dogs. I can't be in the air and advising the princess at the same time. So congrats flight leader." He said clapping his hand on the mans shoulder.

"Now you have some news to break to your team." He said as he started to walk away.

"But why sir?" Luke asked as the colonel sighed.

"I'm old son and tired. Its time for me to step down and you are the next best leader for the team. You have the respect of your team and their loyalty, even if Captain Iceman's young he will learn to accept and move on from his craving for battle. The horrors we faced are lessons that only we should take into account. Those horrors should be pasted down to our children as nightmares and lessons on our mistakes not for them to live through them." The colonel said as he walked up to the man.

"Son you have flown and fought with me for over 12 years. I see you as a good friend and someone I can trust. Mai already has your trust. You need to reach out to Kenichi before he loses himself he craves battle show him he is not ready for it and to not seek it. He has no place on the battlefield. Make him see that."He said as Luke sighed before nodding.

"Sir. I won't let you down."

"I know you wont my boy now go and talk to your team." He said walking past him and towards Celestia.

(Ponyville)

Rainbow was giddy as she pushed some clouds to make for a thunderstorm tomorrow. She couldn't wait to fly with two Aces from another world. She knew that the Wonderbolts were Ace flyers but they had never seen any real combat.

But from what Lyra told her that she heard from Mai was that they were Ace fighter pilots with a kill count of over 100 confirmed shot down planes.

She found out from the chief the other night that Iceman was a great flyer but was still green when it came to combat. Rainbow looked up as she saw the chief's plane headed towards them making her smile.

She could see him slowing down as he went under the clouds she and her team were working on. She watched him land making her smile as she watched the cockpit open while she looked at her co-captain.

"Hey Ditzy can you take over real quick I'm gonna go talk to the chief." She said as Ditzy nodded.

"Sure thing Dash Im all over it." She said helping Raindrops with one of the bigger clouds while Dash shot towards her human friend.

Luke just closed his cockpit and turned to see Rainbow flying towards him making him smile as she landed in front of him.

"Rain good morning are you ready to fly?" He asked as she smiled.

"Oh yeah always."

"Good but first I need to make a announcement to my team."He said as he walked inside as he motioned for her to follow him. As the two got inside they saw Mai eating some cereal and Ice was cleaning his weapon.

"GROUP ATTENTION!" Luke yelled as the two scrambled to get to the main area of the house.

"Guys I've got some important new for you and some sad news." He said as they looked at him worried.

"Colonel Hartfield has stepped down as team leader and has made me the new team leader. Celestia has offered him a chance to advise her on the situation with the diamond dogs and he took it." He said as they looked at him shocked.

"WHAT!"

"STOW IT CAPTAIN! I don't like it anymore than you do but its what he wanted so we will respect that." Chief said as the others went quite.

"Report to your planes in 5 minutes. We got practise to do." He said as Mai nodded and Iceman growled as the two ran upstairs to get their flight suits on.

"I guess they kinda took it hard huh?" Rainbow asked as he sighed.

"Colonel Hartfield has been team leader since I was just a rookie and the squad was just being made. Me and Mai were the first of the team with the colonel and one more that was killed in action while over the Black Forest. He was shot down when we were taken by surprise from some British fighters. Got every last one of them but yeah we lost High Roller in the battle." He said giving a heavy sigh.

"You gonna be ok dude?" She asked as he smiled at her.

"Yeah Im gonna be fine. Took awhile for me and the others to get over it but we did eventually." He said as she nodded as the other two came down.

"Ok team get to your planes Rainbow is gonna be coming with us today so no afterburners and weapon systems off. I don't want any mishaps today now move out." He said as Rainbow beamed for a second but then thought about what he said.

"HEY! Why did you tell those guys to keep it slow? I can go just as fast as you guys." She said as he smiled.

"Really so you can go Mach 6 in 4.8 seconds?" He said as she looked at him confused.

"Rain when we flew together I could see you were giving it your all after we first broke the sound barrier. But I wasn't at full throttle even though I had the afterburners on. Mach 6 is around 4,567mph." He said as her jaw dropped.

"Sweet Celestia thats faster than I could ever get!" She said before smiling.

"Thanks for not blowing me away Chief and embarrassing me." She said nudging his arm.

"Hey I learned a long time ago not to wound a woman's pride if I want my health to be perfect." He said as she laughed.

"Oh so there is somepony you like back home huh?" She asked grinning as he shook his head.

"Nah not anymore. It was more of a fling and we went our separate ways when we deployed to different parts of the world to fight at. Besides we wouldn't have made the best couple." He said as they walked outside as his team was getting ready.

"Why is that?" She asked as he sighed.

"She was a bit of a pushover and I like a woman that can challenge me and make me listen when I'm wrong. Its why me and Mai get along so well. She doesn't take any shit from anyone and is very honest with you." He said as she nodded.

"So you and Mai are together then?" She asked as he chuckled.

"No I see her as a sister and it would just be weird if we started to date. Why? Are you trying to see if I'm on the market?" He asked as she blushed and punched his arm.

"Yeah right chief in your dreams." She said as they laughed.

"Ok lets get training, go grab your helmet and meet us in the sky." He said as she nodded and took off for her home as they started to take off.

Luke maneuvered and dropped his altitude and headed into the clouds as Mai went in for the kill.

"HA I got you now chief."She said as she broke cloud cover and didn't see him.

[HAHA! MAYBE NEXT ROUND CAPTAIN NOW I'M GONNA GO GET ICEMAN] She heard as she sighed.

Rainbow was above the clouds as she looked around for Iceman before she spotted him coming right at her.

"WHOA!" She yelled as she dodged the plane before taking off after him. She couldn't get a lock as he weaved in and out of the clouds making her grit her teeth.

( 2 HOURS LATER GYM)

"I can't believe we lost to a rook." Mai said as Iceman growled. They had just landed and were heading to the gym for some PT.

"That was awesome! I didn't know that those planes could do those things. That was so cool how you dumped your speed to get behind Captain Iceman." Rainbow said as they walked through town.

"Hey your not to bad yourself Rain. That was a pretty wicked move you did when you took out Mai in the last round. You making her break off of you when you dived to the ground was awesome." He said as she smiled.

"We make a great team don't we chief?" She asked as he nodded.

"We sure do rook next time its Noobs vs Aces. How bout next week once you rested up a bit?" He said as she nodded.

"Hell yeah this has been the most fun Ive ever had with anypony. Hey let me give you my number Chief so you can call me if you need anything or just want to hang out." She said as he smiled.

"Sure." He said as a small floating screen appeared in front of him

"Just say the number and this will save it for me to call you later." He said as she nodded and said her number staring at the floating box.

"Soooo since we won the dog fight doesn't that mean you guys buy the drinks tonight?" She asked as they sighed.

"Yessssss. Celestia gave us some money while the chief was gone this morning." Mai said as the other two smiled.

"So what are we working out today?" Dash asked as Mai sighed.

"Lower body." She groaned.

"Oh come on you two its not that bad." He said as she glared at him.

"Yeah right when you lead PT Im sore for a week!" She said as Rainbow looked at him.

"Oh please its not that bad. Don't listen to them Rain they're just lazy." He said as they walked inside.

(1 hour and 30 minutes later)

"Oh sweet Celestia I hurt." Rainbow groaned as Luke smiled down at her and the other two pilots.

"Come on Rain it was just a light workout after some flight training. Besides you're the one who wanted to race on the treadmill." He said as she groaned.

"I didn't think you could keep up with me. You got almost the same amount of energy as Pinkie Pie." She said as he sat down and pasted her a bottle of water and threw the other two one.

"Awww you'll be ok. Besides you know you loved it." He said as she smiled and rolled over.

"Yeah you're right I did. So what next?" She asked as he sighed.

"Well I'm gonna go take a bath since I smell like ass and then wash my suit and we are heading over to Rarity's for whatever she wanted us for." He said as she winced.

"Well good luck with that dude Im gonna go soak in my tub and relax. Today has been pretty cool" She said as she got up.

"Ill see you guys later ok? I expect a full bottle of shots when we go to the bar." She said as Mai and Iceman groaned.

"See ya."

"Later Rain." They said as Luke got up.

"Ok guys lets head home and then see what Ms Rarity has for us." He said as they headed to the house.

(Rainbow 4 hours later)

"Ugh why did I have to race him? My legs are killing me and my abs and wings are on fire!" She said as she layed out on her stomach just letting her wings droop over the bed as she gave a tired sigh before the phone rang making her whimper.

"Hello?"

"No and yes."

{What do you mean no and yes?}

"Ugh I trained with the humans today and we practiced something called dog fighting today. Me and the chief won of course. But then after 3 rounds my wings were killing me so we went to the gym and did lower body and now my wings, abs and legs are killing me." She said

"Twilight I did this to myself Chief Valentine told me I could leave anytime I want. They didn't force me to do it. I chose to. Why are you so against them Twi?"

{I'm just trying to look out for you Rainbow.}

"Thanks Twi really but the humans are pretty cool, well except that Iceman guy he's kind of a jerk." She said as Twilight sighed on the other line.

"So whats up what did you call for?"

{Well I was wondering if you were coming to this years Gala  in a few months?}

"I don't know Twi I mean everytime we go it just ends in us running to Joes or just something goes wrong." She said sighing.

{I know Dash but I have a feeling that this year will be different.}

"Yea you always say that Twi and it always ends the same way." She said groaning as she rolled on her wing.

"Look let me think about it and talk to the other girls ok. Ill think about it Twi ok?"

"Bye" She said as she hung up the phone and leaned back on her pillow and groaned as the phone rang again.

"Hahaha. Whoops sorry about that chief I guess it slipped my mind." She said smiling as he sighed.

{Yeah I bet it did. So you up for some beers and shots?}

Rainbow sighed as she layed down and groaned before getting up.

"I have a funny feeling that Luke is gonna win." She said to herself as she got up and got dressed.

Rainbow sighed as she walked inside the bar she spotted Mai by the bar as she was getting a drink and walked up to her. She was wearing a pair of blue jeans a black snug V- neck shirt and sneakers.

"Hey Mai. Where's the guys at?" She asked as Mai smiled.

"Luke is on his way here him and Iceman got into it about the colonel stepping down. But Luke wasn't having it and put the kid in his place." She said as Rainbow nodded as Mai looked over her shoulder.

"There he is." She said as Rainbow turned and had to pick her jaw off the ground. The flight suit that Luke was in gave him no justice. He had on a leather jacket with a white T-shirt, blue jeans and a pair of very nice dress shoes. She looked back at Mai who had a smirk on her face as Luke walked up to them.

"Ladies. Well Rain you ready to lose?" He asked as she shook her head and smirked at him.

"You are so going down Luke."

"We'll see Rain now I'm gonna go see what might be good, Ill be right back." He said as he left the girls alone and went to talk to the bar keep as Rainbow turned to Mai.

"How long did Rarity take to measure Luke?" She asked as Mai smirked.

"About two hours. She was quick with Iceman and me but when he got down to his boxers she kinda kicked us out for his measurements." She said as Rainbow looked at her in disbelief as Mai chuckled.

"He came out all red faced and wouldn't tell me anything besides she liked for him to flex." She said as Rainbow's wings twitched.

"Um did he say anything else?"

"Um he said that she likes to touch as well." She said as Rainbow looked at Luke as he came back with a bottle of Rincol a hard griffon liquor.

"Ok Rain you my dear better prepare to lose." He said as she rolled her eyes.

"Keep dreaming stud you're going down." She said as he smirked.

"Stud huh? So you do like me." He said as he flexed his chest making her watch his pecs bounce as her wings twitched.

"Maybe but just because your cute dont mean your gonna win." She said as he gave a charming smile making her blush as he looked at Mai.

"Sis you mind keeping score?" He asked as she nodded.

"Sorry Rain but you can crash at our place in the guest room." She said as Rainbow scoffed.

"Please he can't be that good."

"Im a three time drinking contest winner at Oktoberfest in Germany." He said as she growled.

"Just had to open my mouth." She said as he smirked.

"Well bottoms up." He said as he took his first shot.

(1 hour later)

Mai sighed as she watched Luke catch Rainbow from falling off her stool.

"Well Luke looks like you win.... Again. Come on its late lets get home." Mai said as she put Rainbows arm over her shoulder as Luke did the same on the other side.

"Well come on lets get home." He said as they walked out and headed to the manor. As they got inside and Rainbow upstairs to the guest room Luke put a bucket by Rainbows head and Mai covered the mare up.

"Night Mai I'll see you guys in the morning." He said stumbling towards his room.

"See you in the morning chief." She said yawning and headed towards her room.

"Man todays been pretty good." She said as she fell on her bed and got undressed and got in bed.

(Next day)

Rainbow woke up to the smell of breakfast and opened her eyes to see a hot plate of eggs, hashbrowns, toast, and pancakes along with a glass of milk with some pills and a note.

She reached over and grabbed the note and read it smiling as her stomach growled.

'Morning Rain heres some pills I got from Twilight. She said she would be over to check on you later. Ill bring up some food later. Once your done come down stairs.'

"Dont mind if I do Luke." She said as she grabbed the plate and dug in. He somehow get the pancakes just right as she shoved the food down before gulping down the milk and pills.

As she put the plate down and sighed she heard someone knock on her door and turned to see Twilight standing there looking at her worried.

"Dash are you ok? Luke came by and asked for some hangover pills and said you were passed out in their guest room." She said walking up to the bed as Rainbow smiled.

"Yeah Im fine Twi thanks for the pills they really helped. Have you had any breakfast? Its awesome." She said licking her lips as Twilight smiled.

"Yeah I had some earlier when I got here and checked on you. Luke and I have been talking over breakfast. They are very interesting and not like the books make them out to be." She said rubbing the back of her neck as Rainbow smirked.

"See I told you Twilight, these guys are really cool. I'm guessing that they're gonna take it easy today." She said as Twilight smiled.

"Actually they got a call from Celestia this morning and since they are the only humans here and are the highest one is Luke he just got put in charge of the town guard post so that they won't be caught by surprise again. Luke is sending Mai and Iceman to start training them." She said as a Raindrop walked in.

"Dash come on you got to help with the thunderstorm today. Chief Luke said you were up here." She said as she bowed to Twilight.

"Ok ok Im coming." She said as she got up and saw she was naked.

"Um where are my clothes?" She said as Twilight pointed over to the pile in the chair in the corner.

"Don't worry Mai was the one to get you out of your nasty clothes. She even washed them for you so you might want to get a shower first." She said as Rainbow nodded and jumped in the shower before coming out and putting her clean clothes on.

"Ok lets go Raindrop." She said as the three walked down stair and saw Luke at the dinner table with papers all around him.

"Morning sunshine, sleep well?" He said as he looked at Dash who was looking at him confused.

"I'm not Sunshine I'm Rainbow remember?" She said as he looked at her confused now.

"What? No its an expression." He said as realization hit her.

"OH! Wow I feel dumb now." She said as he smiled.

"Its cool, so how you feeling?" He asked as she smiled.

"Good and full thanks for the breakfast Luke it was really good. I didn't know that you could cook." She smiled as he nodded and looked back at the papers.

"Well when you're trapped on the battlefield for 4 days with limited supplies then you got to learn quick. Besides I think that I'm a pretty good cook when given the right stuff." He said as she gave a nod.

"Well I got to go do some cloud clearing today. What's your plans today?" She asked as he looked outside.

"Mmm I might do some solo flying during the storm." He said as they looked at him in shock.

"ARE YOU CRAZY! We have a thunderstorm fixing to start later today! You can't fly out in that weather!" Rainbow and Raindrop yelled making him jump in surprise.

"Whoa Rain calm down. I've flown in worse weather than a little rain and wind. I've had to fight a two hour dogfight during a blizzard helping to defend Russia from British and Dutch air forces. I think I can handle a thunderstorm." He said as Rainbow stormed up to him.

"No Luke you can't go out in this weather. Please don't go out in it." She begged as he smiled and nodded.

"Ok Rain for you I wont. I dont like to worry my friends." He said as she sighed and smiled.

"Thanks Luke. Please just stay here for today and make sure that Mai and Iceman get home soon its gonna get pretty bad." She said at he nodded.

"Ok in that case I need your help Twilight on protecting the planes. I need your help in getting a shelter built for them." He said as his arm lit up and a screen popped up and they saw Mai.

{Hey chief whats up?"} Mai said as the mares came around to look at the holoscreen.

"Hey Mai training is cancelled for today on account of a thunderstorm and I need you guys to help build a shelter for the planes come on back home and get some of the biggest tarps you can and some tent posts while you're at it." He said as she nodded.

{Roger that sir we're on our way} She said as he turned off the screen and looked at the stary eyes of Twilight and the big grin on Rainbows face.

"What?" He asked as Twilight grabbed his arm.

"OH MY GOSH! How did you do that is it in your shirt? Do all humans have those?" She asked as he pulled his arm away from the mare.

"Yes they do and its under my skin and attached to my brain. All I have to do is think of what I want and it comes up." He said as his arm lit up again bringing up his pictures of his team and friends.

"Who is that?" Raindrops asked pointing to a man.

"That was one of my friends that were killed in action over the Black Forest." He said as she flinched.

"Sorry."

"Its not a problem." He said as his arm lit up again as a ringtone came on and Rainbows face came up.

(Whiskey Girl)

Luke ignored the call as he looked at Rainbow who was smiling.

"Um I can take that off if you want me to but I just thought it fit." He said with a small blush on his face as she started to blush.

"So Im your little whiskey girl huh?" She said as he blushed harder.

"Um uhhh." He couldn't get anything out as she smiled.

"I like it but now i have to find you something that fits. Hmmm well I got to go and get to work. Later Luke." She said flashing a smile as she walked past him and out the door as Luke smiled.

"See you later Rain." He said as she looked back at him and winked before taking off with Raindrops as Twilight headed for the door.

"Hey Twilight can you help me with this? Its the map of the town and I'm thinking of putting up some guard posts on the outskirts of town and I need to know where the best place to put them." He said as she smiled and walked back over to him.

"Ok let me see what you got." She said before the door was kicked open and Pinkie Pie walked in with Applejack.

"Pinkie how many times have ah told ya to knock?" Applejack said as Pinkie looked at her confused.

"Um are your asking about today or since we met?" She asked as Applejack sighed and looked at Twilight and Luke and gave a sheepish grin.

"Um sorry bout that yall. Yall must be Luke Valentine that Rainbows told us about. I'm Applejack and this is Pinkie Pie we missed ya at the welcome party." She said as he smiled.

"Yeah sorry but I'm not one for crowded places." He said as he gave Applejack a firm handshake and Pinkie a smile.

"I am sorry Ms Pie but I did enjoy the punch and some of the cakes and the really sweet pink cupcakes." He said as she beamed.

"Thanks Luke and you can just call me Pinkie you're my friend and all my friends call me Pinkie." She said as he smiled at the mare and looked at Applejack who was looking at him.

"Um do I have something on my shirt?" He asked as she shook her head.

"No sugarcube but ah was wondering. Have y’all ever worked on a farm before?" She asked as he smiled and nodded his head.

"Yeah back at the air base I was from we had a big apple orchard and vegetable patches for the base since most of the land wasn't able to be farmed because of the radiation from the nukes. But yeah I know a thing or two about farming. Why?" He asked as she smiled.

"How would ya like to work at my farm when yall aint training with the guard? Ah’ll even pay ya." She said as he smiled.

"Um sure Ms Applejack that sounds great." He said as she nodded.

"Well just come by round 4 in the morning so we can get started when yall get the chance. And yall can call me Applejack sugarcube." She said as he smiled.

"Cool let me get your number so I can let you know when I'll be coming in." He said as the little box came up surprising them all.

"What in tarnation is that thing? That dont look like no phone ah ever seen." She said as Twilight smiled.

"Its my phone just say your number into it." He said as she nodded and said her number as Pinkie jumped up to it and gave hers and Twilights as well.

"Now if you guys ever need me Im just a call away." He said as Applejack smiled and nodded.

"Well come on Twilight lets get started on that shelter for the planes." He said as she nodded.

"Got it you girls want to help?" She asked as Applejack nodded as Mai and Iceman walked in.

"Good timing guys come on we're fixing to start." He said as they all walked out and got the supplies that they got from the guard post and the store.

(2 hours later)

'' Well thats all we can do for now till we get a proper shelter for them." Mai said as they nodded.

"Thanks you guys for your help today. Applejack I'll be by tomorrow after the storm is over. Iceman and Mai will be helping around town." He said as they nodded as it started to thunder.

"Well thats my cue to get. Ill see ya at the farm later Luke." Applejack said as she walked away with Pinkie as she waved at him.

"Well Luke I better go to I dont want to be stuck in the storm. Ill come by later tomorrow to help with those plans." She said as he nodded and saw Mai and Iceman heading out with them.

"Where are you two going?"

"Well Lyra wants to hang out and asked if I wanted to stay at her place during the storm." Mai said as they looked over at Iceman who smirked.

"Im going to the guard post and stay there tonight I just feel more comfortable in a bunk than a bed. No one is there besides the ones that don't have families in town so Ill see you guys in the morning." He said as they nodded and the two left as Luke sighed.

"Well guess I'm alone tonight. Hmmm what to do?" He said as he heard the rain start to come down as he shrugged and pulled up his play list and began to play some music as he went to clean his weapons and look over the maps to see some good defencive positions.

Even if he was a pilot he still spent some time with the ground pounders whenever he could so he learned some things here and there.

He took off his clothes and threw them in the dirty clothes hamper as he jumped in the shower.

As he washed his hair he had no idea that Rainbow came in and didn't hear her call out to with his head under the water. As he finished getting a shower he got out and dried off and wrapped the towel around himself and headed for his room only to come face to face with a soaking wet cyan mare, who was wide eyed staring at her friend.

He was shocked at first but in a place that he was used to seeing very loosely dressed women. He gave her a charming smile as she continued to stare at his body.

"See something you like Rain?" He asked as she nodded dumbly making him get a shocked look on his face before he got a wicked grin.

"Well if thats the case would you like to see more?" He asked as she nodded again as he walked up to her as her wings stiffened as he got closer.

"Maybe after a few dates Rain." He said as he walked past her as she shook her head and went to say something but when she turned she saw him drop his towel flashing his butt making her wings shootout as he closed the door.

As he finished getting dressed in a tight shirt and some loose pants he walked out to see her shivering making him him sigh.

"Come on Rain lets get you in the shower and in some dry clothes." He said as she nodded and jumped in the shower as he took the dirty clothes to the laundry room to wash and grabbed some of his clothes for Dash. A large shirt and some shorts and set them on the toilet as she wash.

"Hey Rain I got you some clothes and a towel for when you're done." He said.

"Thanks Luke." She said as he walked out and headed down stairs as his music started up and made it get as loud as it could as he smiled at the music.

Rainbow blushed as she got his shorts on and heard the music when she opened the door. She walked downstairs and saw a smiling Luke as he bobbed his head to the music while he looked over the map on the table.

"Um Luke?" She said as he lowered the volume and smiled at her.

"Hey Rain. What are you doing here?" He asked as she sighed.

"Sorry for just dropping by but Twilight and Pinkie already locked up for the storm and Rarity is staying over at Twilights. I would have gone home but the storm kinda hit before I could. I was double checking the cloud formations and when I started- mmhp." She was cut off by Lukes finger as he smiled at her.

"Its cool Rain but it looks like its just me and you tonight since Mai and Iceman left. So what do you want to do?" He asked as she shrugged

"I dont know. Please don't tell me your gonna look over those maps all night are you?" She said as he chuckled.

"That was the original plan but now I got company so you want to watch a movie or something? Or I can show you how to work the rifle." He said as she smiled.

" Lets do the rifle first then we can watch that movie. Um how are we gonna watch a movie when you don't have a TV?" She asked as he pulled up his holo screen and widened it before he threw his arm at the wall and the screen floated over to it. She looked back at him as he pulled up another screen and had it float in front of Dash.

"Just take your finger and drag it to the movie you might want to watch. The trailers are in each movie so you dont have to start one to see it." He said as he took his rifle apart as she scrolled through the movies and tapping on some that looked interesting.

"Wow you have chick flicks in here?" She said looking back at him as he shrugged.

"What I have dated before Rain and a lot of the women I dated liked all the mushy romantic stuff." He said as he went back to taking the weapon apart.

As she went through the movies she saw a locked file and raised a eyebrow.

"Hey Luke what's the locked file?" She asked as he dead panned.

"Porn and personal videos but mostly porn." He said as she looked at the locked file and bit her lip before sighing and scrolling through the other movies.

"Ok I found one." She said as he looked at it and smiled it was one of his favorites.

"Assault Recon, nice. Ok well come over here and Ill show you how the weapon works." He said as he laid the last piece on the table

(20 minutes later)

Luke charged the weapon and put it on safe as it folded in.

"And thats how you put the XM-556 back together how it works and how you clear a jam." He said patting the weapon and looked at the smiling mare.

"That is so cool. So ready to watch the movie?" She asked as he nodded and the two jumped over the back of the couch and plopped down.

"Aw hell you want any popcorn or something?" He asked as she shook her head.

"Nah Im good but a few shots will be good." She said as he smiled.

"Mare after my own heart. Hold on I had Mai pick some up when they went shopping the other day." He said and pulled out some whiskey and two shot glasses.

"Sweet. Can you make this thing bigger?" She said as he nodded and widened it to 72 inches as the movie started.

(4 hours later)

Luke sighed as the last video ended and looked over at Rainbow who was sound asleep on his shoulder. He smiled as he eased up and got his arms under the mare and lifted her up while she snuggled into his chest and took her upstairs.

Luke used his foot to push the door open and eased her down on the bed as he used his left hand to pull the covers back and then covered her up.

"Night Rain." He said as he walked out and closed the door and headed to his room as he closed out all the apps he had running and pulled up his music and let it start to play.

(6 days later)

Luke smiled as he made his way to his favorite DJ's place wondering what the mare wanted to ask him.

It wasn't a few days after Luke and the others go settled in Vinyl and Octavia became fast friends. He grinned seeing the DJ in the window moving around as he came to the door and knocked.

"Hey Vinyl so what are you going to be doing today you didn't say anything over the phone?" Luke asked as the mare sighed.

"Well I need to get packed for a last minute gig that my manager set up for the Wonderbolt after party and I have nothing packed! Tavi is gone today and no one is answering their phones and I didn't want to- mmm!" Vinyl sighed against the finger on her lips.

"Vinyl chill I had a day off today so it's cool. Let's get this done before your train leaves." He stated getting a nod from the mare who stepped aside.

"Thanks Luke I know that we've only talked a few days ago but I really need your help with this." Vinyl sighed as Luke waked in.

"Vinyl calm down it's fine I said so come on show me what needs to go where and we'll have it all packed before you know it." Luke smiled back at her as the two got to work and in no time everything was packed and ready to go.

"Thanks dude you're a life saver!" She said pulling him into a hug before jumping back with a blush.

"Sorry." She stated while he smiled.

"It's cool so do you need any help taking these things to the station?" He asked as she shook her head.

"Nah but could you help me take them to my car. I'm just going to Dream Valley about a hour from here." She stated getting a nod from him as he picked up the biggest bags with her sound equipment in it and headed out to the car parked outside.

Not long after Luke waved goodbye to his newest friend just as a rainbow blur flew across the sky making him smile just watching Dash perform her tricks leaning against the doorframe to the house.

"Luke?" The man jumped and looked over at the beautiful Octavia before smiling at her, she was in a black short dress holding her case carrying her instrument but she had a haggard look on her face but still smiled at him as she walked towards him.

"Hello Octavia how was your consert?" He asked moving aside so she could walk in before he followed.

"Long and tiresome." She sighed putting her hands in the middle of her back pushed while she arched her back popping it getting a moan from the girl.

"I'm sorry to hear that, you didn't have any trouble with any fans did you?" He asked as she headed to her room to change into some more comfortable clothes.

"What fans? All I ever get are rich pervs that would love to hear me play for them naked. I actually had a noble smack me on the butt today." She sighed not hearing the angry growl from him.

"Well if it makes you feel any better besides Vinyl I'm a big fan of your music." He said as she poked her head out and looked at him to see if he was serious.

"Do you really mean that Luke?" She asked getting a nod from him.

"Yes and not in a I want you to play naked for me kind of way." He said getting a laugh from her before she closed the door.

"Thanks Luke that means a lot to me." She said from inside while he smiled leaning up against the wall.

"No problem Octavia, so I take it you want to relax today?" He asked as she opened the door with PJ bottoms on and a large t- shirt.

"Oh you don't have to go if you don't want. I wouldn't mind the company to tell you the truth, it gets really lonely when she's gone and I do enjoy your company." She stated getting a smile from him.

"Ok then well what would you like to do?" He asked as they walked into the living room.

"Well for one I'm starving so I'm going to- Nope." She watched as Luke stopped her from going into the kitchen and gently lead her back into the living room.

"Why don't you just relax Octavia and I'll cook, anything you want special?" He asked as she sighed.

"I don't know I've been gone most of the week so I'm sure that Vinyl has eaten most of the food in the fridge so I don't know what we have." She stated while he nodded.

"Well how bout I just whip you something up with what you have for now or if you feel like it we can order out or something?" He asked as she sighed.

"Lets see what we have in here?" He said heading to the fridge.

' Oh yeah I can make something with this.' He smiled and checked the cabinets to make sure he could as Octavia came in and started to head for the fridge.

"Hey! No ma'am you get back into the living room and relax I got this in here." He said pointing with a forked ladle while she grumbled.

"It's my house." She pouted heading back into the living with a huff.

"I promise you'll like it." He called from the kitchen as he gave her the box with the movies on it and put the holo screen in the middle of the room.

"It might take some time but I promise it will be worth it. Just scroll through and see what you might like." He said and headed back into the kitchen.

(45 minutes later)

Octavia's stomach was roaring at the smell from the kitchen and groaned just as Luke came in with a dish steaming hot.

"My lady sorry for the wait but dinner is served." He stated putting a towel on her lap and then the dish down along with a spoon and then stepped back waiting for her judgement.

Octavia took a spoonful blowing on it to cool it down before popping it into her mouth as her eyes popped open at the unique flavor and seasoning. She looked up at Lukes expectant face and smiled.

"Luke I have to say you've surprised me, most stallions don't know the first thing about cooking." She smiled digging in as he beamed heading back to get him a bowl setting down beside her.

"What do you call this?"

"Vegetable Dhal." He answered blowing on his own spoonful taking a bite and smiling.

"It's really good with all the ingredients, I never was able to make the real thing since depending on where I was at I couldn't get the items I needed." He stated as she looked over at him.

"You're talking about the war yes?" She asked getting a nod from him.

"Yep, but I'm just glad that it's mostly over now though." He stated going back to his food finishing quickly before looking at her smiling sheepishly.

"Sorry just used to eating fast most my life." He stated getting a nod from her as she flipped through movies and TV series.

"Hmm, Luke what do you think about this one?" She asked holding her bowl while showing him a girl movie.

"Mm not to bad but not that good either, there is some funny bits in it but it's mostly drama." He answered getting a face scrunch from her.

"Drama is the last thing I need in my life." She sighed scrolling through some more before she asked about another one.

"That one is pretty funny, it's a romantic comedy. I think it's pretty good but you'll be the judge of it for yourself." He stated as she pressed play.

(5 hours and 4 movies later)

As the credits rolled Octavia giggled and looked over at Luke who was getting up and taking his and her plate with him to be washed while he stored the leftovers in the fridge.

"Well I better get to the house since I'm sure Rain is wondering where I am." He said closing the holo screens before heading to the door, it was already night out surprising the both of them.

"Had a great time Octavia, we should do this again sometime." He said opening the door and left as she plopped down on her couch with a smile on her face.

"Indeed we should Luke." She sighed and rolled over drifting off to sleep.

Down the road Luke smiled at the fun time he had with Octavia just chatting about whatever came to mind and just had a great time being around each other.

As he walked he got a call from Rainbow making him sigh knowing that she would be mad at him.

"Hey Rain what's up?"

[WHAT'S UP?! HOW BOUT YOU MISSING FOR THE LAST 5 AND A HALF HOURS AND NOBODY HAS A CLUE WHERE YOU WERE!] She yelled as he sighed.

"Calm down Rain, I was just over at Octavia's place and we just started to talk and watch some movies is all. Sorry if I worried you Rain." He stated hearing her sigh.

[Just don't do that again Luke, you had Mai a little worried since your phone was off.] She said but he could tell by the relief in her voice that it was her that was worried, Mei knew that he could handle himself.

"I'll try to remember not to, anyway I'm heading home right now so I'll see you tomorrow?"

[Sorry big guy but I got some weather duty business in Cloudsdale in the morning.] She groaned.

"Well bummer, I guess I'll just have to find something to do while you're gone after I work with Applejack. Oh well I'll find something to do." He stated as she sighed.

[Sorry Luke I'll try to get back as fast as I can.] She stated.

"It's cool no need to rush and mess something up Rain, I'm a big boy I'll find something to do while you're gone." He said getting a grunt from her.

[I know but I like hanging out with you, it's fun being around you and all. But anyway I got to get some sleep bye Luke.] She said quickly and hung up the phone.

"Later Rain." He said before heading home taking a shower and going to bed.

(Two days later)

Luke made his way to Octavia's house since she called him to come over and get his opinion on some of her music.

As he came to the house Vinyl pulled in and spotted him getting a smile out of the mare.

"Hey Luke you mind helping me with these bags?" She asked getting a nod from the human who walked over and grabbed some of her heavy bags just as the door opened and Octavia walked out.

"Oh Vinyl welcome home." She said going to help her with some of her things. After they were done Vinyl headed to get a shower while Octavia lead Luke to the back of the house and to her room.

"Now I want your honest opinion on this, it's something that I personally wrote." She stated as she started to play.

(Evening Star- Octavia)

As he listened he smiled but he could feel that it was missing something, if felt like she was alone with no support at all with just the cello.

"Stop." He said loud enough so she could hear him. She stopped and looked up at him curious.

"What is it?"

"It feels like something is missing like you need more, as in additional background support and maybe something else to." He said as she sighed.

"Yes I feel the same way but I just can't put my finger on it." She stated when the door opened to show Vinyl in a towel and leaned against the door with a smile as the two blushed.

"That was really good Octi what do you think Luke?" She asked as he looked away.

"I think you're trying to get me in trouble." He mumbled as Octavia growled.

"Vinyl! Go get dressed for Celestia's sake!!!" She yelled throwing something at her.

"OK OK IM GOING!" She yelled dodging the item while Octavia sighed.

"Honestly." She growled and looked back at Luke.

"Are you ok Luke?" She asked as he sighed.

"Yeah just a little hot and bothered is all." He smiled as she blushed.

"Oh I see."

"Well anyway from what I heard you need some kind of background music that compliments your cello and another instrument as well." He stated getting a nod from her as he stood.

"Well I need to get going I need to replace some clothes that Applebloom caught on fire when they were trying to be rocketeers." He stated.

"Well ok then I hope Vinyl didn't make you mad Luke." She said as he scoffed.

"What how could I be mad at her when she was mostly naked in front of me. If I would be mad about anything it's that she's a hot tease." He said looking back at a blushing unicorn and winked.

"Later Vinyl, bye Octavia." He stated brushing past her making sure she felt his body watching her blush harder as he headed out of the house.

Luke walked down the road waving to the few ponies he knew well enough as he headed to Rarity's house.

"Hey Luke!" He turned to see a wall eyed pegasus land beside him.

"Hello Ms. Derpy how are you today?" He asked as she smiled.

"I'm fine um do you mind if I talk to you in private?" She asked.

"Sure what's on your mind?" He asked as she led him to a isolated part of the park overlooking a field.

"Um you're one of the only guys that I know that will be honest with me so I was wondering if you could tell me if you think me and the Doctor have a shot together?" She asked while he sighed.

"Ms. Derpy I've told you before that you're a beautiful mare and any stallion would be lucky to have you as theirs." He stated as she looked down.

"I know but I just get cold hooves everytime I try to talk to him and we're best friends! I just don't want to ruin that." She stated looking down.

"Hey come on Ms. Derpy even if for some reason he doesn't return your feelings do you really think Doc will stop being your friend?" He asked lifting her head up and wiped away her tears.

"No."

"That's right, if it makes you feel any better I can go with you for moral support?" He offered but she shook her head.

"No I want to do this myself but thank you Luke, and you can just call me Derpy you know." She said getting a smile.

"Ok Derpy, I wish you luck and I believe in you." He smiled ruffling her hair getting a smile from her.

"Thanks Luke you're a great friend." She said taking off towards town.

"My, my aren't you The Love Doctor." He turned and smiled at the white unicorn.

"Hey Ms. Rarity I was actually looking for you." He stated as she raised a delicate eyebrow.

"Oh and whatever for?" She asked blushing a little remembering their time alone as she got to feel that marvelous body his, no fur in the way just smooth skin that felt marvelous to the touch.

"Well it seems the crusaders wanted-

"Say no more I understand, come along then darling lets get you fixed up then." She stated cutting him off and heading to her home with Luke in tow.

When they made it to the shop Rarity had him sit by her as she searched her drawers and found a note pad.

"Here we are, now I assume you just want some tough material for when you're on the farm helping AJ yes?" She asked getting a nod from the human.

"Yes ma'am just to replace the ones I lost will do." He stated as his arm beeped.

"Excuse me while I take this." He said leaving the room as Rarity sighed.

'He's such a gentleman, I really wish I could find a stallion like that.' She thought groaning as her mind ran through the stallions she knew just as Luke came back in.

"Sorry about that Ms. Rarity, that was Rain she won't be back tonight so looks like I'll be home alone again." He stated giving a depressed sigh.

"Oh so you and Dash are together then?" She asked getting a chuckle from him.

"No ma'am she's just a really good friend and drinking buddy. We usually just hang out, do some drills, workout, or go to the bar. Mai and Iceman mostly stay out and about the town or Mai stays at Lyra's house and Iceman stays at the barracks." He shrugged.

"Ah I see. So tell me darling how are you adjusting to Equestria?" She asked as she looked over to more durable fabric.

"Well I have to say that I would never have dreamed of living in a place like this in my lifetime. The people here and very welcoming and helpful, that's very rare from strangers where I come from they would sooner shoot you and take what you have then help with anything." He sighed as she stopped and turned to him putting a comforting hand on his knee.

"Well I'm glad you came when you did darling, for all I know Ponyville and everyone in it could have been burned to the ground if it wasn't for you and your team." She said getting a smile from him.

"Thank you and you're welcome ma'am." He said while she narrowed her eyes at him.

"You don't have to be so formal around me darling just Rarity is fine I assure you." She smiled and got back to work missing his grin.

After Rarity was finished the talked for hours laughing and joking with a little bit of flirting here and there. The two had broken out some champagne and Rarity was obviously a bit buzzed.

"Ok so tell me darling, what does this thing do?" She asked pushing on a few holo screens that he was showing her.

"That is to go to the net but I don't think I'll be able to link with it being here." He stated as she leaned into him.

"I have to say darling you're really warm." She said snuggling into his side.

"Um thanks Rares." He said only to smile at the sleeping mare next to him. He looked outside and saw it was getting late.

'Time sure does fly.' He stated getting up and laying the mare on the couch and looked around for a blanket and pillow before covering her up.

"See you later Rares." He whispered and out the door he went after he locked the door.

(3 days later)

Luke sighed after a long day at the farm as he made his way to Rarity's after he had taken a shower. He knocked on the door and waited for a second before it opened.

"Hello darling how are- Darling are you ok?" She asked as he sighed.

"Mac worked me pretty hard today so I'm just wore out." He said as she huffed and took his hand.

"Well dear I have just the thing for you." She stated and had him lay down on the floor.

"Rares I'm fine I'll take some pain pills later." He weakly protested.

"Hush you're my friend and I want to help you, now take your shirt off." She said as he sighed and sat up taking it off not seeing her lick her lips.

"Now dear do stay still. Where does it hurt the most?" She asked.

"The middle of my shoulder blades." He answered.

"Ok now relax darling." She said letting her hand glide up his back as he moaned making her blush a little. She continued to work her thumbs along his spine paying close attention to the muscle in between the shoulder blades when she hear a loud pop and Luke moaned loudly with a large smile on his face.

"Thank you so much Rarity that spot has been bugging me for years." He mumbled into the floor as she laughed a little continuing to massage his sore muscles.

"You're very welcome darling now just relax and I'll take care of you." She smiled at the groan from him.

" Rarity, you're going to make a stallion very happy someday." He stated as she blushed.

"Thank you darling." She stated moving down to his lower back where another pop came and a muffled moan. After a while she got off him and stretched.

"Well darling how do you feel?" She asked only to get a muffled groan from the ground making her laugh.

"That good huh?" She asked only to get another moan from the floor.

"Well as funny as it is for you to lay there I can't have customers think that I killed you." She stated as he slowly got up and kissed her on the cheek as her face lit up in a blush.

"Rarity you are a beautiful mare with magic hands, thank you for doing this for me." He stated giving a charming smile down to her only making the blush worse.

"N-no trouble at all darling, it's what friends are for right?" She asked getting a smile.

"I know but still thank you so much Rarity, if you ever need anything just let me know ok?" He said and looked at his watch showing just after 6.

"Hey Rarity are you hungry?" He asked just as her stomach rumbled.

"Maybe a little." She stated just as the door was kicked open and Vinyl strode in stopping for a second to look over her glasses at Lukes body.

"Well good afternoon to me." She smiled as he rolled his eyes while Rarity blushed.

"Hey Vinyl, what's up?" He asked getting smile from her.

"Well I need you for a while to help me with Tavi, she won't talk to me and I think maybe you can help." She said getting a nod from him as he turned back to Rarity.

"Sorry Rarity, I'll make it up to you I swear." He said throwing his shirt on and taking off after Vinyl leaving a grumbling mare.

"Drat."

(Vinyl and Octavia's house)

Luke stood outside Octavia's door and could hear sniffling going on inside.

"Vinyl give me some space ok?" He asked getting a worried nod from her and headed into the living room.

Luke knocked on the door and heard a thump against the door.

"Go away Vinyl!" She yelled through the door.

"It's Luke Octavia, can I come in?" He asked only hearing silence before the door clicked and heard hoove pad back into the room. Luke stepped into her room and could see she had been crying, he walked over and sat on the bed next to her and pulled her into his side as her arms went around him.

"Do you want to talk about it?" He asked and felt her shake her head.

"Did someone else touch you?" He asked feeling her stiffen before nodding.

"Was it the same one from last time?" He asked getting another nod as he sighed trying to keep his anger in while he rubbed the mares back.

"Don't worry I'll talk to him." Luke stated getting a nod from Octavia as Vinyl knocked on the door.

"Octi? Can I come in?" She asked peeking her head in getting a nod from the other mare while Vinyl smiled and walked over sitting on the other side of Octavia wrapping her arm around her.

"Want to talk about it?" She asked getting the same answer she gave Luke.

"Ok." She said just holding her friend.

They stayed there for a while till Octavia and Vinyl fell asleep against each other. Luke sighed and helped the two into Octavia's bed and headed out after locking their door.

"Locate Gleaming Mane." Luke stated as a satellite image of a real time video showed him heading down 5th Street and beacon showed him moving towards Sugarcube Corner.

Luke moved down the street and through an alley just as he was about to pass only to have a fist greet him in the snout.

The stallion fell to the ground groaning in pain holding his mouth while others stopped to look at what was going on.

Luke growled grabbing him by his now bloody shirt and shook him a little to get his attention. The stallion looked up and paled at the rage on Lukes face.

"You got a lot of balls to touch one of my friends after I told you she didn't like it bitch." He growled before the stallion smirked.

"I'll touch whatever mare I want to touch and however I'd like weather they like it or not." He stated only to gag with a hand squeezing around his throat and was lifted into the air and slammed into the wall.

"Since you don't understand english to well I'll speak real slow so you can understand." He said squeezing his throat as he started to turn blue.

"You ever touch one of my friends again without their permission and I'll snap you in half as slowly as I can over my knee." Luke snarled as the stallion gurgled before Luke let him go watching him drop to the ground gasping for air.

"You understand now fuck face?" Luke asked as the stallion coughed.

"I'll sue you for this!" He gasped out only to get a heavy foot on his back slamming him into the ground.

"Sue for what? Teaching you a lesson on respect for mares and what happens if you sexually harass one of my friends?" He asked getting a growl from him.

"Let another mare come to me and say that you touched them and I'll make sure you can never do it again." He said glaring at the pale stallion before he kicked dirt into his face and walked away spitting on him.

Luke turned only to get a fist in his face from a unicorn stallion making him growl.

"You got some balls messing with Mr. Mane monkey." He stated going for another punch only for it to be blocked and take a fist to the solar plexus lifting him off the ground.

"Monkey? That's funny it that the best insult you could think of?" He asked as the stallion fell to all fours hacking and coughing while two more bodyguards came out of the crowd charging the human who got into a strange stance just as the guards got to him. He twisted his body delivering a snap kick to the face of one of the guards knocking him out instantly.

He continued with the turn landing a fist on the side of a unicorns head knocking him into the dirt and he didn't get up. Luke turned only to get another punch to the face from the stallion earlier as another two jumped in tackling him to the ground as they started to beat on him.

"Not so tough now are you monkey?!" One taunted before his leg was snapped in two and fell over screaming in pain while the other two jumped back in surprise.

They never saw Luke get to his feet before one was punched in the chest lifting him into the air only for a savage elbow slammed him back into the dirt out cold. Luke turned to the last one moving towards him as he backed up.

"I GIVE!!" He yelled just as Luke reached him.

"You're lucky you fucking bitch." Luke said spitting out blood and looked back at the other stallions laying on the ground.

"Clean up this fucking mess and if I ever hear about your boss touching a mare like he did my friend I'll cave his face in." He growled getting a scared nod from as Luke pushed past him and the crowd.

Luke made his way down the road his face bruised and bloody from the hooves and we was sure one of his ribs were cracked from the pain he was feeling.

"Luke?" He turned to spot Sweetie Belle of all ponies there and gasped looking at him.

"LUKE WHAT HAPPENED!?" She yelled running up to him pulling on his sleeve.

"Come on lets get you to my sisters and she can patch you up." She said pulling him down the road getting many looks at them as they got to Rarity's as she threw the door open calling for her sister.

"RARITY! COME QUICK LUKES HURT!" She yelled.

"Sweetie it's not that serious." He stated as he heard some things being knocked over and Rarity came sliding into view.

"Sweet Celestia Luke!" She yelled grabbing his hand and pulling him into the kitchen.

"Sweetie go get me some alcohol from the bathroom along with some bandages and cotton balls." She ordered getting a nod from the filly who rushed upstairs.

"Rarity I'm fine, I just got into a fight with some punk stallions after I kicked their boss's ass." He stated.

"Why in Equestria would you do that?" She asked as he growled.

"Cause bitch needed to learn never to touch my friend without her permission." He stated just as Sweetie came back in looking worried at all the blood.

"Are you going to be ok Luke?" She asked getting a nod from the human.

"Yeah I'll be fine Sweetie just got into a fight is all." He stated wincing as Rarity dabbed some of the cuts on him with the alcohol laced cotton balls.

"Why did you get into a fight?" She asked.

"Because a stallion touched one of my friends after she told him to stop but he kept going before she got away. So I made sure he was never going to do that to any mare again." He stated getting a nod from the two of them while Rarity continued to patch him up.

"Ok Luke take your shirt off." Rarity stated when Rainbow came in a froze seeing her friend in the state he was in.

"Sweet Celestia Luke!" She flew over to him as he took his shirt off getting worried looks from both of them as they looked at the purple and blue ribs on his left side.

"Luke I think we need to get you to a doctor." Rarity stated pulling him up getting a painful grunt from him.

"I'll be fine really thanks you guys." He stated trying to pull away but Sweetie Belle stopped him.

"Please Luke? We just want to make sure you're ok." She said her lip trembling getting a sigh out of him.

"Ok. I'll go." He stated as Rainbow put his right arm around her shoulders and Rarity wrapped the other around her waist and put her arm around him as they headed out the door towards Rarity's car.

With the adrenaline gone Luke was really starting to feel the beating he got from the stallions, every step he took hurt like hell and his ribs were killing him.

"It'll be ok Luke I'm sure Nurse Redheart can fix you up." Sweetie Belle stated beside him in the back seat rubbing his back getting a smile from the human.

"When I find out who did this to you big guy I'm gonna make them wish they were never born." Dash growled.

"Don't worry about that, I made sure that they don't fuck with me again." He said getting a glare from Rarity.

"Oh sorry Sweetie Belle." He gave a sheepish smile.

"It's ok, you just owe me 2 bits when we get back home." She stated while he sighed.

"Come on Luke lets get you to the nurse." Rarity said helping the human out of the car after the pulled up to the emergency room door.

(1 day later)

Luke sighed holding his ribs, turns out they were just bruised. Luke sighed as he heard the door to the room open and felt Rainbow's hands lift his shirt and peek at the bruies.

"You know Luke there are better way to impress mares right?" She asked getting a laugh and groan from him.

"Oh don't make me laugh to hard." He groaned and looked up at her with a smile.

"So once I get well rested how bout me and you go out for something to eat as a think you for taking care of me while Mai is out?" He asked as she looked down.

"Sorry Luke but I don't like you like that." She stated getting a sigh from him.

"Ok, well want to still eat?" He asked as she shook her head.

"Sorry but I don't think that would be a good idea." She stated getting a confused look from him as she got up.

"Look Luke I gotta go, I'll see you later." She said walking out as he sat up watching her go before laying back down hearing the door close.

'Well didn't see that coming.' He thought as he heard hooves running up the stairs and looked over to see Sweetie Belle, Applebloom, and Scootaloo in the doorway with Rarity and Applejack looking at him.

"Hey there sugarcube, how y'all feelin?" Applejack asked as the fillies walked over to him as Vinyl and Octavia walked in and were right next to him.

"Luke are you ok? Rarity told us what happened after you left the other day." Vinyl said getting a smile from the human.

"Yeah I'm fine." He stated only to hiss in pain from the punch and smack the two mares have him to the arm.

"You idiot! You had me worried to death on the way over here!" Vinyl stated and watched Octavia run her fingers through his hair before kissing his forehead.

"Thanks though for sticking up for me Luke." She said smiling at the blush on his face.

"Any time Tavi." He said stated getting a smile from her.

"Are you sure you're ok Luke?" Applebloom asked getting a nod from him as he got up much to the girls protest.

"I'm fine girls really, I'm just really tender is all." He stated as the fillies helped him up while the mares made sure he would make it down the stairs.

"Girls come on now, I have bruised ribs not broken legs." He laughed a little as they sighed.

"We know darling just don't want you hurting yourself anymore than you already are." Rarity stated getting nods from them all.

As they made it down the stairs and headed to the living room where they all sighed.

"Well I'm glad to see you up and about sugarcube but we got to get back to work, just wanted to drop by to see how y'all were doing." She said getting a nod from him.

"Ok as soon as I get better tell Mac we're fixing that barn roof." He stated getting a smile from her and nod before her and the crusaders left yelling goodbye over their shoulders.

"Well darling I had better get going as well I need to finish up some orders." She said patting his leg letting her hand linger for a few more seconds before heading out the door.

"Yeah I have to go to stud, I'll see you later." Vinyl said hugging him into her chest before rushing out the door leaving Octavia and Luke alone.

"So how has your song been coming?" Luke asked as she sighed.

"I got some good background music but I can't figure out another instrument to go with it and it's driving me crazy." She groaned leaning into his uninjured shoulder.

"Thank you again Luke for 'talking' to the perverted stallion." She stated kissing the side of his cheek and leaned into him.

"No problem." He stated throwing his arm over her.

(2 weeks later)

Luke sighed working on the barn door after a wagon accident smashing through it, now Luke and Mac were putting the door back on when he saw Vinyl's car pull up just when they finished.

"Well that's that!" He stated panting a little looking at the reinforced doors with his hands on his hips next to Big Mac.

"Eeyup. Got to say don't think ah could have done it alone Luke, thank ya kindly friend." He said clapping the man on his back while he did the same both stood there for a second from the sting of the slaps.

"Hello boys!" They turned to see Vinyl making them both blush at her outfit.

She was in shorty shorts and they could see her thong pulled over her hips and a sexy tube top that matched her hair.

"Hey Scratch! Nice outfit."He smiled as she struck a pose nearly making poor Macintosh faint.

"Nice right? I'm heading over to Trottingham in a bit and just wanted to ask you if you could go to Octavia's concert since I can't go. I would but this came up last minute, all you gotta do is show up." She said digging into her pockets and pulled out a ticket handing it over to him.

"Here take this to get in, I was going to surprise her but you know how it goes." She said getting a nod from him.

"Sure Scratch, I'll be there." He stated getting a smile from her as she leaned up and pecked him on the lips.

"Thanks stud this means a lot to me and it sucks I can't be there for her tonight but I have to go to this gig." She stated to the stuned human as she headed back to her car.

"See you in a few days!" She called back running to her car before she peeled out.

"You ok partner?" Mac asked as Applejack came from the field pulling a wagon before she spotted them.

"WHAT ARE Y'ALL DOIN? GET BACK TO WORK!!" She yelled making them jump and scrambled to start work on something.

That night Luke drove to Canterlot in his truck that him and his team brought together if they ever needed it. He was in a suit that Rarity made him that was black with a white undershirt and red tie.

As he pulled up and made his way to the front row as the first performer came to the stage and began as he sighed and waited for his friend.

A few hours later and a nearly asleep Luke, Octavia took the center stage looking surprised that he was there and gave him a confused look.

Luke smiled and put his hand to his ear and acted like he was spinning a record getting a sigh from her but smile mouthed 'Thanks for coming' as he gave her a wink.

The two smiled at each other for a minute before she blinked and began to play the music.

Luke sat there in awe never taking his eyes off her as she played smiling glancing at him every once in a while and smile bigger while she poured herself into it.

After she was done Luke waited outside for her and waved when he spotted her across the room.

"Octavia!" He shouted making her smile and rush over to him and away from the bothersome stallions that only really wanted one thing or another from her.

"Hello Luke how did you enjoy the performance?" She asked as he sighed.

"To tell you honestly most of the ponies here need to get lessons." He stated while she looked like she was about to get pissed.

"That is till you came on stage and showed them what real talent is." He smiled watching her blush and loop her arm into his.

"Oh do go on." She smiled up at him as he began to tell her how he saw it. The two laughed about some of the other ponies that were on stage and some that were even jeered and hissed at.

"Got to say I'm really glad I came out here tonight to watch you, it was amazing Octavia I know you're going to be in a huge orchestra one day." He smiled as she grinned while he led her to her car.

"Thank you for coming out to be there for me tonight Luke, I wish Vinyl could have come but at least she sent a friend in her place." She stated hugging the human.

"I will see you back home Luke." She stated getting a nod from him and waved as she drove off.

"You are very lucky to have a mare like that Sir Luke." He spun around wide eyed before bowing.

"Hello Princess Luna, I am glad to have her as such a close friend." He stated while she cocked her head.

"You are not in relations with that mare?" She asked while he smiled.

"No ma'am just friends is all." He stated getting a nod from her.

"We are sorry for the misjudgement then human." She said as he waved it off.

"No need princess though I do have to ask why did you think we were together?" He asked as she smiled.

"Just the way you both are around each other we just assumed is all." She stated getting a nod from him.

"I see, so how did you like the show?" He asked getting a sigh.

"We see that some need much more practise while Ms. Octavia is well on her way to a career in classical music. We wish her the best of luck in that." She stated getting a smile from him as he walked over and let the tailgate on the truck down and took a seat patting a spot next to him.

"Come take a seat princess I'm sure those heels aren't doing your hooves any good." He offered getting a smile from her as she walked over and sat down.

"We thank thee for this human, tis true our hooves are killing us." She stated while he smiled laying back looking up at the night sky and frowned.

" I hate being in cities. I could never get a good look at the night sky because of all the lights." He sighed and felt Luna lay down next to him frowning as well.

"Indeed." She said moving her hoof as her horn glowed moving the stars around while he gasped and looked over at her smiling face.

"That's amazing Luna!" He gasped in shock as she formed some kind of consolation in the stars.

"Tis childs play." She boasted while he continued to admire her work.

After a while the two were talking about anything that came to mind laughing like old friends before he saw where the moon was in the sky.

"Oh wow I never realized how late it was." He stated and looked over at a slightly depressed Luna.

"I suppose all good things must come to an end as they say" She said getting up and taking the cover off her they he had gotten during the night when it started to get cold.

"Hey princess if you ever need anything or just want to hang out just come by the manor some time, I could always use the company." He smiled getting a nod from her.

"We will take your offer Sir Luke, till next time." She said lowering her moon as the sun started to rise.

Luna sighed as she watched him drive off before a smile came over her face thinking of a new friend she made.
