Firestormby Patric12345ChaptersChapter 1: The MaelstromChapter 2: ReckoningChapter 3: HeavenChapter 1: The Maelstrom“Radio’s out!” Benjamin called the radio station. “I have no fucking idea where we are. Some how that cloud bank knocked us off course… away from our escort.” Cameron said from the navigation room. “Thank God the skies are clear.” John said from the radar area. “Colin, we doing alright on altitude?” Nate asked the main pilot. “Yeah, just fine.” Colin nodded, “Great on fuel too.” “CONNOR!” Nate shouted. “WHAT!” Connor shouted from the right gun pit. “KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!” Nate shouted. “SAME FOR YOU ALEC AND MATT!” “Jack how we doin on our payload?” Ryan questioned as he approached Jack who was checking a few of the bombs. “She’s nice and secure.” Jack said as he patted one of the bombs. “Great, Cody how are the engines looking?” Ryan said as he glanced back at the Engineer area. “All of them are fully functioning.” Cody said. “Holy shit.” Colin said, “Do the Nazi’s have any cities put on the side of a mountain?” “No.” Cameron said as he walked into the cockpit, “Well I’ll be damned.” He said, looking out the window at the massive mountain, a city clearly visible on the side. Ryan walked back to the bombsight and slid down onto the floor beside it. “God…” He sighed. “Well… let’s just… try to get back… we’ve got a mission to complete.” Nate said. Colin nodded and concentrated on flying. The plane went quiet except for the sounds of the engines and machinery. They flew overtop of the city and were bracing for flak fire. When none came they all breathed a sigh of relief. Ryan walked into the cockpit and stood over the two pilots. “Something wrong?” Nate asked. “Just bored.” Ryan said. “Yeah we all ar-” Nate was cut off as pistol fire was heard in the back of the plane. “SHIT MATT!” Alec shouted. “WHAT THE FU-” Jack was cut off by a few more shots. Nate drew his pistol and got up to investigate. Colin was visibly shaking. “Ryan…” He said quietly. Ryan was nervously glancing back as the plane fell silent again. “SHIT CODY’S SNAP-” Nate shouted before getting shot. “FOR THE FATHERLAND!” Cody screamed as he shot Connor. “Ryan… get the parachute.” Colin said in an oddly calm tone. “Wh… what?” Ryan questioned shakily. “Get the fucking parachute. Get the fuck out of this plane.” Colin ordered. “I’ll… I’ll try.” Ryan said with a small nod. “Under my seat. There’s a small bundle hand it to me.” Colin said as he continued to fly. Ryan handed Colin the bundle. “Now fucking run.” Colin said. Ryan charged out of the cockpit and saw Cameron in a pool of blood while Benjamin struggled with Cody. Ryan grabbed a parachute and booted open the side door. He heard a ticking from the cockpit and his eyes widened. Cody shot Benjamin in the throat and pushed him down. Ryan shot a fearful glance back. Cody rushed him and slammed the empty gun into the side of Ryan’s head knocking him out cold and out of the plane. Cody turned back towards the cockpit. “Now it’s time for you to die…” After reports of a massive metal contraption was flying above Canterlot reached her ears Princess Celestia had moved out into the overlook area. She carefully watched it for any signs of hostility. Luna watched it too. “Sister what do you suppose it is?” She asked. “I don’t have the slightest clue. It seems to be harmless for now though.” Celestia said. “Well lets hope it stays that way.” Luna said. “Yes, lets hope.” Celestia nodded. Celestia glanced back up at the side and saw something fly open from the side of the metal contraption. She saw a figure in the opening. “Sister… I’m beginning to think…” Luna said as her horn started to light up. “Wait…” Celestia said, “I don’t think this is what you’re assuming it is…” After watching the figure for another minute they saw it get thrown out of the opening and start to fall towards the ground. Celestia shot up into the air without warning and flew as fast as she could manage towards the falling creature. When she got about halfway there an explosion rocked the air as the metal contraption was bathed in fire and shattered from the inside. The creature continued falling limply towards the ground. Celestia’s magic flared up and she shielded herself from the shrapnel as it flew through the air. After a moment she flew up under the creature and caught it. She instantly saw it was a male. His breathing was shallow and there was a small trickle of blood coming down from his right temple. He remained unresponsive to her touch. Luna and a few guards made it to Celestia shortly after. “You’re okay!” Luna said happily. Celestia was about to say, ‘Why wouldn’t I be’, when she saw the thick black smoke that had come from the explosion. “Yes I am.” She nodded, “But we do have an injury.” She motioned to the unconscious man she was holding. “How badly?” Luna asked as she hovered closer. “I think it’s just his head… it looks like he was hit by something and that’s what knocked him out of whatever they were in. Though… it appears he was leaving anyway.” Celestia said as she looked down at the parachute on his back. “Let’s get him to solid ground. Hopefully when he wakes up he’ll be able to talk.” Luna said. “Get the doctors to prepare a room.” Celestia said to the guards. “Yes Ma’am!” Two of the guards saluted before flying back towards the castle. Celestia looked over the clothing he had on she didn’t notice anything that would help to identify him. “Where do you suppose he came from?” Luna asked. Celestia remained quiet. “Sister?” Luna asked. “I don’t know.” Celestia said. “Princess the hospital has a room ready.” A guard said. “Let’s get him there right away.” Celestia said as she flew towards the hospital. The doctor looked over some of the charts. “How badly is he hurt?” Celestia asked. “A major concussion. Whatever was used to hit him in the temple was meant to kill him.” The doctor said, “He’s lucky that you got to him in such a short time. And from my calculations… he should be waking up soon.” “Who is he?” She asked. “I don’t know…” The doctor said with a sigh. “Well I suppose we should ask him when he wakes up.” Celestia said. The doctor nodded, “If you need anything don’t hesitate to ask.” He said, setting down the clipboard and walking out of the room. The man shifted a little on the bed, letting out a small slightly pained groan. Celestia quickly walked up to the bed. “Easy… You’re in a hospital.” She said calmly. The man’s eyes fluttered open and he looked up uneasily at Celestia. “A… a hospital… what… side?” He asked shakily. “E… Equestria.” Celestia said uncertainly. “Equestria…” The man said slowly. “I’ve… never heard of a country called… Equestria.” “Where were you headed?” Celestia asked curiously. The man looked uncertainly at her for a moment, keeping quiet. “You can tell me. You’re safe here.” Celestia smiled. He closed his eyes momentarily. “We were intending to bomb an industrial plant.” He said. “Excuse me?” Celestia said, her eyes widening. “We were going to cripple the German ammunition supply by hitting a major ammunition factory.” He said. “Germans?” Celestia questioned. “Or the Nazis. Either way… the government is evil. They intend to conquer and rule the entire world.” He said. “And why haven’t I heard of these ‘Nazis’?” Celestia asked, raising an eyebrow.. “I’m going to guess for the same reason that we lost radio contact with our escort and why our navigator said we were lost.” He said. “And why would that be?” Celestia asked. “I… don’t know.” He said quietly. “We just… did.” “Do you know where they are?” She asked. “Dead…” He said quietly. “I know it…” “Did you kill them?” She asked. “No! They were all my friends!” He said sounding slightly angry. “I see…” She mumbled. “God…” He said quietly, his head falling back onto the pillow, “I just… can’t believe Cody was a traitor…” He winced as he touched his temple. “What did he do?” She asked. “He’s the one who shot and killed most of the crew… though he ran out of ammo before he could shoot me.” He said. “That’s not good.” She said, crossing one leg over the other. “Not go-” He froze when he saw her wings and horn, for the first time legitimately paying attention to her. “What… the… hell…” He mumbled, his eyes widening. “Is something wrong?” She asked. “What… the hell… are you…” He said, sounding scared now. “I’d ask if you meant my title or my species, but I can obviously tell you aren’t from here. I am Princess Celestia. I am an alicorn, and ruler over Canterlot.” She said. He shook a little and he tried to process the information. “I can tell you need some time. Just call the nurse if you need anything.” She said, standing up and about to walk out. “N… no…” He said quickly. “You would prefer I stay?” She asked. “I guess… I just want someone… to talk too… though the horn and wings… that’s still a lot to take in…” He said. “I would imagine.” She laughed, taking a seat next to him again. He paused momentarily as something hit him. “You said… Princess right?” He asked. “Yes. I rule alongside my sister. Princess Luna.” She nodded. “Well I’ll be damned… I never thought I’d talk to any form of royalty.” He chuckled. “Yes I hear that a lot.” She joked. “Although this is the first in these circumstances.” “Well… might as well open up a bit if I’m stuck here.” He said. “Not like they really care about a single lost soldier.” He sighed. “You’ll be surprised about what people care about around here.” She smiled. “That sounds great.” He said. “If I may, what is your name?” She asked. “Just call me Ryan.” He said. “I’m guessing as the leader of Equestria… Sorry one of them you’ll want to keep an eye on me.” Celestia raised an eyebrow and smiled. “Oh of course…” She said jokingly. “So… you didn’t intend on all but imprisoning me?” Ryan asked. “Oh definitely. You’ve committed the most devastating of crimes.” She said. “And… that is?” He asked uncertainly. “Well you did just invade my kingdom. And there are serious charges to that.” She said. “Um…” He mumbled shrinking back onto the bed slightly. “I will hope to see you again when you make a full recovery… Implying I get here before the executioner.” She sighed, standing up. The fear was clear on his face as he kept silent. Author's Note I would like to thank my Co-author Vinyl_Wubs. He's a great writer and a really great friend of mine. I hope you decide to check out his work. Chapter 2: ReckoningA week later: Ryan woke up in the hospital room and carefully glanced around. His eyes fell upon the other man in the room wearing a black hood and carrying a halberd. He gulped a little and his eyes widened. The man silently motioned for Ryan to stand. Ryan did and instantly had new clothing shoved into his hands. “Dress. I’ll be waiting outside.” The man said as he walked out of the room. Ryan quickly got dressed and walked out of the room. He fearfully looked at the man, “What… next?” He asked shakily. The man motioned forward with the halberd. “Move.” He stated. Ryan started walking forward, glancing back every now and again at the halberd. “Would you prefer to be gutted, beheaded, or shot with arrows. I’d say the last one… But only if the shooter is a marksman. It would be a shame if he… missed.” The man chuckled. Ryan gulped loudly and shook a little more. “Implying you survive the neutering…” The guard laughed. “Th… that’s cruel…” Ryan stammered. “No that’s judgement. And yours was made when you got here.” He said strictly, nudging him in the back with the end of the halberd. “Move.” Ryan started to slowly walk again. His hands now visibly shaking. “God…” He mumbled. Ryan glanced around as he walked into the castle. He could still feel his heart about ready to burst from his chest. The man guided him to a large door and opened it. Ryan walked in to an extremely well furnished bedroom. “Enjoy.” The man said, slamming the door behind him and standing at his position near the door. “Wha… what?” Ryan mumbled. He slowly walked up to a chair and slumped down onto it. “I didn’t… do anything… purposely…” He said quietly. “Keep saying that, I’m sure your tongue will be the first to go.” The man said. “So you… plan on torturing me before the execution…” Ryan said. “That’s reserved for someone else.” The man said. “Then wh-” Ryan was cut off as the door swung open and Celestia walked in. She turned her head and smiled the moment she spotted Ryan. He gulped and tried to shrink back into the chair. Celestia walked to the bed and lied back, never taking her eyes off Ryan. “W… why?” Ryan questioned shakily. “You’ll speak when spoken to.” The man said, loudly hitting the end of the halberd to the floor as his voice boomed through the room. Ryan fearfully shut his mouth. “Come… sit with me.” Celestia said calmly, patting the pillow next to her. Ryan stood up slowly, and shakily walked over to the bed. He slowly sat down on the bed. “How are the sheets? Are they comfortable enough?” She asked. “B… better than… the bunks… at the base…” Ryan said quietly. “It was made especially from my favorite fabric…” Celestia said, running a hand across Ryan’s arm. He gulped as a few ideas flashed through his mind. “So tell me… what are your hobbies?” She asked. “Fishing… r… reading… I… I play the violin… and… I like… to read…” He said uncertainly. “I’ve always liked the violin. Very calm… relaxing…” She sighed, staring up at the ceiling. “Y… yes… I enjoy it… because it’s the best… memory I have of my mom…” He said quietly. “Did she play?” She asked. “She did… along with the piano and flute.” He said. “I wasn’t ever good at playing the flute… and I’m not the best with the piano.” “Oh I’m sure you’re better than most of my jesters.” She laughed. Ryan seemed genuinely confused. “Please… my apologies.” She said, shaking her head. “Would you like something to eat? Maybe you’re thirsty…” “W… water would be nice…” He said. Celestia looked up at the hooded man, who nodded in return before walking out of the room. “Why… if I’m… going to be executed… why are… you being… nice?” Ryan asked shakily. “Would you rather I tie you to the wall naked while I see how many whips it takes to get to your prostate?” She asked. His body had started shaking a little again, his eyes widening slightly in fear. “I thought not.” She said. His lower lip quivered a little. “W… why did you… save me then?” He asked. “Because unlike what my mother told me, I like to play with my food.” She smiled. He gulped again and his eyes shut, he started quietly mumbling to himself. Celestia started laughing. “W… why… a… are you laughing…” He stammered. “Because this is probably one of the funniest jokes I’ve seen in quite some time.” She said. Ryan remained quiet and there was a small glimmer in the corner of his eye. “If it’s still not clear to you, you aren’t going to be executed.” She chuckled. He looked down at the floor. “Something the matter?” She asked curiously. He closed his eyes and sniffled a little. “I’ll assume you’re happy?” She asked. “I… don’t… know how to feel… about that…” He said. The door to the room opened and the hooded man walked in with a tray of assorted food and drinks. “I assume the joke is over so I brought a little of everything.” He said. Ryan opened his eyes up and he continued to stare at the ground. A few tears dripped off his face. “I truly didn’t mean any harm.” Celestia said apologetically. “Yeah… I get that…” He said. “That… doesn’t make it too much better…” The man set the tray next to Ryan. “Eat, you must be hungry.” He said. Ryan glanced down at the tray for a moment, he was about to grab something from it before withdrawing his hand. He crossed his arms across his chest. “Warm or cold, your hunger will get the better of you.” Celestia said. “I’m sure it will.” He said. “Well it’s getting late. I’ll leave you to enjoy your new room. If you need anything just call one of the guards.” She said, standing up and walking towards the door. “I will.” He said without looking at either of them. Celestia and the man walked out, closing the door behind them. Ryan glanced at the door to make sure it was closed before he started slowly eating. Ryan had managed to get out into the garden without being noticed. It made him feel better knowing at least now no one would know right away where he was. He sat down on the ground and looked up at the sky. He started picking out constellations that looked strikingly similar to the ones back at home. He sighed quietly. “The stars are quite beautiful aren’t they?” Celestia asked. Ryan glanced back at her, “Yes. They are.” He said. “What are you thinking about?” She asked. “Nothing really. I just really… wanted to get away from everything.” He said. “Me included?” She asked. “Yeah… I just… don’t really have all that much… trust in you after… that ‘joke’.” He said quietly. “Then I’ll leave you to the stars.” She said. “No… this is your castle.” He said. “You shouldn’t be forced to leave just because of how I feel.” He said. “And why not? Are your feelings not important?” She asked, raising an eyebrow. “Well… I just guess you didn’t see how it felt to be… tricked like that.” He said. “You sure take things seriously don’t you?” She asked. “I guess I do.” He shrugged, “It’s just a fault of mine.” “We’ll have to work on that then.” She joked. “You know my reason for being out here… so what’s yours?” He asked. “Mm… This is my castle.” She smirked. “I understand that.” He said. “I just assume you’d have a reason to be out here at night… unless you don’t sleep.” He shrugged, “It’s fine, I guess I don’t have the right to know.” “I come out here when I ‘can’t’ sleep. It’s more relaxing than the bedroom I usually spend my nights in.” She said. “Well I guess that makes two of us… I can’t sleep either.” He said. “Well I guess we don’t have to sleep together.” She joked. Ryan looked back at her with a raised eyebrow. Celestia just looked at him for a moment before laughing. He shook his head slowly and chuckled a little bit. “How old are you by the way?” She asked inquisitively. “Twenty-three.” Ryan said. “And you?” “A little over a thousand but I lose track occasionally.” She said. His mouth fell slightly open. “A… little… over a thousand…” He said. “I can’t believe that… you can’t be older than twenty-four.” “You’re not so bad yourself.” She laughed. He smiled a little, “Since you are out here why don’t you sit with me?” He asked patting the ground beside himself. “I don’t see why not.” She smiled, taking a seat next to him. “Do you mind… if I just call you Celestia?” He asked, looking over at her. “Not at all.” She said. “I never asked you… what is it that you like to do?” He asked. “That depends on the mood.” She said. “Okay.” He shrugged, “How about the mood your in right now?” “Well besides taking in strays…” She said, staring intently at Ryan. “Ha. Very funny.” He chuckled. “Anything else?” “I tend to fly around when there’s nothing to do. Helps me think.” She said. “Yeah. Flying can be peaceful.” He nodded. “Though… usually not so much for me.” “Why is that?” She asked. “Someone always wanted to shoot us down. And it wasn’t like we were ever alone in the skies.” He said. “Well things are a tad more peaceful here. Would you care to try?” She asked. He chuckled, “Wish I could but I don’t have any wings.” He said. Celestia stood up and smiled. Her wing extended fully and she stared at him, waiting. “Oh…” Ryan said. “Okay.” He stood up. “If you’re afraid you don’t have to.” She laughed. “No… no I’ll be fine…” He said. “It’s just… what do I do?” She pressed her back against him. “Hold on.” She said. He grabbed a hold of her and held on tightly. Her wings flapped, sending the two directly up into the air before sailing off. “How you doing back there?” She asked. “G… good…” He said quietly. “Just fine…” He glanced towards the ground and his grip tightened a little. “Y… yeah just… fine…” He mumbled. “Close your eyes.” She said. His eyes closed slightly. “Now just feel the wind. Don’t let anything else distract you.” She said. He lightly pressed his face against her back. She smiled, her eyes shifting from back at him to straight ahead. She leveled out, making everything seem a lot smoother. “This is… really peaceful.” He said. “I know.” She chuckled. “I guess you would.” He said with a small chuckle, “Being able to fly without any help. I doubt anything can really compare to that…” “I suppose not.” She said. He opened his eyes a little and glanced back at the city, “That’s really… different…” He said quietly. “Would you like to land?” She asked. “Yeah… that’d be nice.” He said. Celestia landed on a hill overlooking the city. “Feeling well? Or was that too much?” She asked. “It was great.” Ryan smiled. He looked back at the darkened city, continuing to stare at it with a mixture of confusion and wonder on his face. “Good.” She asked. “I guess no one here has heard of the saying, ‘The city never sleeps.’” He said. “Excuse me?” She asked. “It’s just that my old home New York City didn’t ever sleep. There was just as much a nightlife as there was life during the day. Sometimes I could have sworn that people were more active during the night.” He said. “So… seeing a city just go dark during the night… it’s strange.” Celestia laughed. “My sister would love it.” She said. Ryan closed his eyes and took in a deep shaking breath. “Something wrong?” She asked. “Just thinking of home.” He said with a small sigh. “It is quite strange waking up in a new unfamiliar land isn’t it?” She asked. “Yes… it is…” He nodded. “And… it’s even worse when… you know you’re just so different from everyone else…” He sighed. “It’s… only made worse since it’s closing in on the my favorite time of the year.” “What would that be?” She asked. “Christmas.” He said. “And I was supposed to be sent home for it… but it’s not like I had anyone else other then my friends to go back to...” “Well tell me about it.” She asked curiously. “It’s a holiday that comes once a year… From what I’ve been told… everyone has a different view on it… but for me it’s always been about just spending time with my friends and family… just relaxing, eating, and giving presents to each other.” He said, a smile spreading across his face. “Sounds like fun.” She said. “You should spend more time around the castle.” He raised an eyebrow, “Why is that?” He asked. “No reason.” She said. “Alright then. ‘No reason’.” He said. “So tell me… What did ‘you’ want to do?” She asked. “How about a walk? I’m sure by then we’ll both be ready to go to bed.” He said. “Sure.” She nodded. Chapter 3: HeavenThe next morning: Ryan got out of his bed and got dressed. When he turned around he saw Celestia standing in the doorway. “Oh hello.” Ryan said. “Hello.” She smiled. “Last night was… fun.” Ryan said. “It was nice talking to you… if I didn’t say that enough.” He chuckled. “I don’t get tired of hearing it.” She chuckled. “I’ve begun to wonder… are you, me, your sister, and the guards the only people in the castle?” He asked. “Other than servants and certain nobles.” Celestia said. “Certain… nobles? You don’t sound too thrilled to be even mentioning that.” Ryan said. “Well as high class as people see me, some of them are quite… pompous.” Celestia sighed. “Heh. Sounds like we’ll get along juust fine.” Ryan said in a sarcastic tone. “Don’t make me hit you.” She joked. “I’d still like to meet these… nobles to see just how much I’ll want to avoid them.” He said. “Very well.” Celestia sighed. “Let’s get going then?” Ryan nodded and followed her out. “AUNTIE!” The two of them heard Blueblood shout. “Oh he sounds like a barrel full of laughs already.” Ryan sighed. “Yes he’s quite the comedian.” Celestia chuckled. “I’m just hoping now I can hold myself back.” He said in a half joking half serious tone. “Yes… It would be a shame if he were to suddenly not have the strength to stand.” Celestia said. The two of them walked into the throne room. “Aunt Celestia…” Blueblood said, his voice trailing off slightly as he saw Ryan. “Yes Blueblood?” Celestia said. “What is… that thing…” Blueblood said as he stared at Ryan. “That ‘thing’... Is my guest of honor, and you will treat him as such.” She said sternly. Blueblood smirked a little, “Yes. I shall.” He said. Ryan sighed inwardly. “When did he arrive?” Blueblood asked. “The other day. Why?” Celestia questioned. “No reason.” Blueblood said, slowly approaching Ryan. Ryan remained still as he inspected Blueblood. “Quite the specimen isn’t he?” Blueblood said. Ryan raised an eyebrow. “Look… buddy I’m no navy boy.” He said. “What?” Blueblood asked. Ryan leaned over to Celestia and whispered something to her. Celestia put a hand to her mouth and giggled. Blueblood glared at Ryan. “You’re going to tell me or else…” He started. “Or else you're going to show me your compensation?” Ryan questioned. “I am so very sorry…” Celestia said pitifully before laughing. “You’re an idiot for saying that…” Blueblood growled. “I’m sure you’re quite the stud in the presence of… Well let’s not go that far.” Celestia smiled. Ryan chuckled. “I’m going to…” Blueblood muttered. “Going to provide more jokes? Oh… right you really can’t…” Ryan said with another chuckle. “Listen Blueblood…” Celestia said, putting a hand on his shoulder. “No. I will not take being insulted by a commoner!” Blueblood said angrily. “I would absolutely love to see things from your perspective, but I’m afraid I can’t get my head that far up your ass.” Celestia said. Blueblood clenched his fist and twitched a little. Ryan also clenched his fist as if waiting. Before Blueblood could move his arm there was a small crack. Ryan withdrew his fist from Blueblood’s crotch. “Nnag…” Blueblood mumbled before collapsing to the floor. “Guess his blood isn’t the only thing that’s blue.” Ryan said. “We will make sure you are thoroughly compensated for your losses… Oh wait…” Celestia laughed. “I’m… going to…” Blueblood muttered. “Yeah… yeah. Next time I’m just going to spay you in your sleep.” Ryan said with a smile. “I think it’s time for you to leave.” Celestia said, staring at Blueblood. Blueblood climbed slowly to his feet and glared angrily at Ryan as he limped slowly out of the throne room. “I should keep you around more. You’re quite the entertainer.” She smiled. Ryan smiled too, “I’d be happy to stay.” He said. “Though you really should call in a vet… it’s never good if those things breed.” “How would you like me to introduce you to my sister?” Celestia asked. “I guess just meeting her would be the best way.” Ryan shrugged. Celestia held out her hand, waiting for him to take it. Ryan grabbed her hand. There was a bright flash and the two of them were teleported to right outside of Luna’s room. “You can be the one to knock.” Celestia said, motioning to the door. Ryan knocked on the door. “You can stop holding my hand now.” Celestia smiled. “Oh… sorry…” Ryan said as he let go of her hand, seeming a little embarrassed. The door opened and Luna peeked out. “Oh hello sister. I see your friend has made a full recovery.” She said. Ryan smiled a little, “Yes, I have. And it’s nice to finally meet you…” He started. “Luna.” Luna nodded. “I’m Ryan.” He said. “A pleasure to meet you. Do come in.” Luna said, opening the door wider and walking over to her bed. Ryan walked in and glanced around. “I’m always going to have trouble getting used to how nice this place is.” He said. “When you live here for long enough, it grows on you.” Luna sighed. “I guess it would…” He said. “It’s just out of even the nicest places I’ve stayed at… this… is just on a level all it’s own…” “And you are allowed to stay here for as long as you wish. It is quite troubling, the situation you find yourself in.” Celestia said. “It could be worse… I could have ended up in enemy hands…” He shivered. “Your world is quite grim isn’t it?” Celestia asked. “It always has been.” Ryan said. “But it’s always been for different reasons… land, money… greed. Freedom…” “There have been times like that here as well. Luckily it’s a little more peaceful than yours, at least for now.” Celestia said. “I doubt any war here could match up to any on my world…” He said. “But… I really… really don’t want to think about what was left behind. It’s gone and I’m happy that I don’t have to go back into that hell again.” “Well from what you’ve made it sound like, you are quite the gentleman.” She smiled. “If I learned anything from my parents I guess it was always show respect unless someone has proven they don’t deserve it.” He said. “And so far I really haven’t seen many people here that don’t deserve to be respected.” He smiled. “You’re not so bad yourself.” Celestia laughed. “Quite.” Luna smiled. “I have a question about… well here…” Ryan said. “What about?” Luna asked. “If I’m living here… I want to know what… if any holidays do you have here?” He asked. “Well…” Celestia started. “That’s… quite a lot.” Ryan said. “Some how I know a lot of them already…” “Any specific one you’re curious about?” Luna asked. “Well… namely Hearth’s Warming… and Nightmare Night.” Ryan said. “Back home… well we had exact replicas… except a few minor changes.” “Oh?” Celestia said curiously. “Well I gave you the basic details about Christmas… Or Hearth’s Warming as you call it… We have Halloween or All Hallows Eve instead of Nightmare Night.” “It seems our worlds are more similar than what we thought.” Celestia said. “It’d seem so…” Ryan nodded. “Anything else you’d like to know?” Celestia asked. “No not at the… Actually… I was wondering do you do anything special around here for Hearth’s Warming? Other then the play…” He said. “You mean a party? Or what me and my sister do near the end.” Celestia asked. “Yes a party.” Ryan nodded. “There is usually a party, usually…” Celestia sighed. “Why wouldn’t there be one?” Ryan asked curiously. Celestia shook her head. “Never mind. Anything in specific you wanted to know about it?” She asked. Ryan shook his head, “No.” He said. He paused and raised an eyebrow as he glanced between the two. “Well there is that second thing you asked about…” He said in a partially joking tone. “Well… Hearth’s Warming is about family as well. And once the party is over… Me and Luna spend the end of the day alone together. It’s nice to be away from everything, you’ll be surprised at how busy we can be.” Celestia sighed. “An escape is always nice.” He nodded. Luna stared at Ryan intently. “Something… wrong?” Ryan asked a little uncertainly. “Well there is something I am curious about you.” Luna said. “Go ahead.” Ryan said. “I am curious about your… Mm…” Luna mumbled. “My…?” He asked “Anatomy.” Luna finished. “Luna…” Celestia snapped. “I’m curious!” Luna said defensively. Ryan chewed on his lip a little, “Um…” He mumbled. “Don’t mind her.” Celestia chuckled, shaking her head slowly. “I… am… a mammal…” Ryan mumbled. “Really? I assumed you were a fish.” Luna joked, raising an eyebrow. “Sarcasm isn’t required.” Celestia said. Ryan mumbled something quietly before looking at the ground. “Excuse me?” Luna asked. “Speak up Ryan… You can tell us anything.” Celestia said. “I guess… one could say…” Ryan mumbled hesitantly. “What?” Celestia asked curiously. Ryan gulped uncertainly. “Well… compared to…” He started. Celestia put a hand on his arm. “Go on. What is it?” She asked sincerely. “I’m… a little… b…” He mumbled trailing off a little. Luna smiled widely. “I think he’s smitten.” She said. Ryan remained quiet as he glanced up at Celestia. “Oh I see.” Celestia smiled. “I… I think I should go back to my room…” He said quietly. “You don’t have to be so shy Ryan.” Celestia laughed. “Indeed. You have no reason to be that way. We aren’t going to shun you.” Luna giggled. “To be honest, your presence is quite nice.” Celestia said, moving her hand down to his. Ryan stiffened up slightly. “If I’m making you uncomfortable…” Celestia said. “N… no…” Ryan mumbled. “Well that’s good. How about you sleep with me tonight?” Celestia suggested. Ryan blushed a little. “I…” He mumbled. “Not in that way you naughty boy.” Celestia smirked. “O… oh…” He mumbled, his blush growing a little brighter. “It would be nice to have some company at night.” Celestia smiled, wrapping her arms around him and gently hugging him. “O… okay…” Ryan said. “I wouldn’t mind joining you two.” Luna smiled. Ryan’s eyes widened a little more and he gulped a little. “I’m sure we’d both enjoy that.” Celestia said, pulling Ryan’s head into her breasts. “Or would you prefer to have me alone?” Ryan’s entire body stiffened up. “I… I…” He mumbled. “Don’t… k… know…” “I’m just teasing…” Luna laughed. “Don’t worry… I’ll have you all to myself tonight.” Celestia said, running her hand through his hair. Ryan mumbled something that was muffled by her breasts. Celestia pushed him away slightly. “Say again?” She said. “So… much… happening…” He mumbled. “Never… before…” “Yes it’s been a long day. How about we go lie down. It’s getting late.” Celestia suggested, gently grabbing his hand and leading him to the door. “Okay…” Ryan nodded. “Lying down would be… nice…” Celestia lead him out to her room, stopping just outside of it. “You wait here.” She said. Ryan nodded and stood in place. Celestia opened the door and walked in. She looked back at Ryan. “I’m going to change into my night clothes… No peeking. You wouldn’t want to see me naked would you?” She winked before closing the door. Ryan swayed a little as he found himself suddenly off balance. A few minutes passed. “You can come in now.” She called through the door. Ryan took a few deep breaths in, opened the door and walked in. He froze when he saw Celestia laying on her bed, wearing only her underwear. His mouth fell open slightly. “Come and join me… It’s getting cold over here.” Celestia said softly. Ryan pushed the door shut before unsteadily walking to the side of the bed. He got on it and laid down beside her. “That’s an awful lot of clothes.” Celestia said, running a hand along his arm. Ryan breathed a little heavily and started removing his shirt. Celestia’s horn shot to life and Ryan was suddenly in his underwear. “There we go.” She smiled. Ryan bit his lip a little as he looked at Celestia as if asking what she wanted him to do. Celestia wrapped her arms around him and gently pulled him against her. “Nice and warm now…” She smiled. Ryan hugged her and laid his head down in front of hers. He had begun trying his hardest to keep his erection from getting out of hand. Celestia sighed softly, pulling his head back into her breasts and nuzzling herself against him. “It is really nice to have you here.” She said. “Y… yes th… that feeling is… mutual…” Ryan said. He lost his inner battle and his erection grew to full size, pressing tightly against his underwear. “It’s good to know I’m not the only one that’s happy.” Celestia smiled, staring down at the bulge in his underwear. Ryan nodded a little shakily. “Let’s sleep… You look really tired.” Celestia whispered, gently running her hands through his hair. “Just close your eyes…” “C… Celestia?” Ryan said, looking up at her. “Yes?” She said tenderly, staring down at him. He hugged her a little tighter and smiled a little. Celestia smiled a little wider and put a kiss on his forehead. “Good night Ryan.” She whispered. “I’m happy that you're the angel I’ve got here in heaven…” He said before he started to fall asleep. “And I’m happy that you’re the man I get to watch over.” She said.
Chapter 1: The Maelstrom“Radio’s out!” Benjamin called the radio station.
