"Spectrum,” mumbled Torchlight, "Get off my hoof.” The chestnut brown falcon flew off his hoof and into the living room. Torchlight walked into the living room of his cloud house to see his friend, Sky Fire, relaxing on the couch reading 'Daring Do and The Lost Temple. "Hey Sky,” Torch said, walking up to the couch. "Oh, hey Torch,” Sky said, looking up from his book. "You got any plans for today?" Torchlight asked walking into the kitchen. "No,” Sky Fire said, looking back down at his book. "Ok, wanna go and get some lunch later?" Torchlight said, grabbing an orange out of the fridge. "Sure," Sky answered. "Ok, See you in a bit,” Torch said, opening the door to his cloud home and taking off into the morning sky. Torchlight flew down from the afternoon sky and landed next to Sugar Cube Corner. Pinkie Pie bounced up to the counter, her smile spreading from ear-to-ear. "Hey Torch!" Pinkie said with a smile on her face, like always. "Hey Pinkie," Torch said looking at the day's menu. "What would you like today?" Pinkie asked. "I would like a chocolate milkshake please,” Torch said. "Okie dokie lokie! It'll be right up!" Pinkie said, bouncing into the kitchen. Torchlight went over to a table and sat down on one of the wooden chairs. Torchlight looked over at the door and saw Colgate, a light blue unicorn with a blue and white mane. Torchlight leaned back in his chair and closed his eyes while he waited for his milkshake. After a moment, Torch heard a soft, friendly voice in front of him. "Hey," Colgate said with a smile Torchlight opened his eyes to see who was talking to him. "Oh, Hey Colgate," Torchlight said, smiling back. "Hey, what are you doing?" Colgate asked. "Nothing really." "Cool, wanna go to the movies or something later?" Colgate said, slightly blushing. "Umm... sure, after I eat lunch with a friend. You want anything?" Torchlight asked. "Nah, I'm fine" Colgate answered "You sure?" Torchlight said, slightly smiling. "Yeah," Colgate said, knowing Torchlight was trying to convince her to get something. "Ok, if you insist," Torch said. "Hey, what you guys talking about?" Torchlight and Colgate turned to see Sky Fire standing closely behind with a slight smile. "Just catching up," Colgate responded. Pinkie bounced up to the table that Torch, Colgate and Sky Fire were sitting at and plunked a milkshake in front of Torch. "Oh, hey Sky, hey Colgate. Would you guys like anything?" The pink party pony asked. "Sure! I'd like a cupcake with sprinkles." Sky requested. "Ok, it'll be right up!" Pinkie Pie said, trotting away, her pink, fluffy, mane bouncing with every step    After Torchlight, Colgate, and Sky Fire ate at Sugar Cube Corner, Sky Fire decided to head home, and Colgate and Torchlight went to the movies. "What movie you wanna see, Colgate?" Torchlight asked. "Hmm... I don't really know," Colgate said, looking up at the list of movies that were playing that evening. "Black-Carriage Down!" Colgate said, smiling and looking back at Torchlight, who smiled in return. "Okay," Torchlight said, looking through his saddle bag for some bits to pay for the movie. Torchlight put a few bits in his mouth and walked up to the counter and set the bits down on the counter. The counter clerk smiled and nodded for them to head inside the theatre. After watching the movie together, the pair went their separate ways for the night. Sun beamed through the window of Torchlight's bedroom as he woke up from Luna's World of Dreams and Nightmares. He pushed himself out of bed and walked into his living room. Friday, no work today, good, Torchlight thought. Torch walked outside and took off into flight. Torchlight slowly glided over Ponyville, looking at the ponies that trotted through the quiet town. He saw the Cutie Mark Crusaders running into the large apple orchard, where their clubhouse was. Torchlight saw Sky Fire trotting through town, his saddlebag on his back. Torch glided down to Sky Fire and landed. "Hey Sky," Torchlight said trotting up to Sky Fire. "Oh, hey Torch. What are you doing?" Sky Fire asked, stopping to look at one of the small market stands. "Just walking around... you?" Torchlight said, looking over at Sky Fire. "Shopping," Sky said, taking a couple of bits out of his saddlebag and setting it on the stand, then grabbing one of the apples from the stand and putting it in his saddlebag. "Cool," Torchlight said. "Well, I guess I'll see you around, peace!" Torchlight said, taking off into the warm, afternoon sky to continue his flight.       Torchlight opened the door to his large cloud home. Torch walked into one of the upstairs rooms, passing the lden, which included two small couches, a small coffee table, and a medium-sized television. Torch walked up the cloud stairs and into a room which consisted of two, small, brown desks. Torchlight walked up to his desk, and grabbed a pair of glasses, which were next to a small radio, and put them on. Torch pulled open one of the drawers and pulled out a notebook and closed the drawer. He grabbed a pen and started writing down the next chapter of his book. "Breeze!" Yelled Midnight Blast, a white unicorn stallion, with a purple and black mane. Midnight ran up to his marefriend, Summer Breeze, who had just be hit by a powerful magic beam, shot by The of Queen of The Changelings, Chrysalis. "Breeze, Breeze, speak to me!" Midnight said, with tears in his eyes. Breeze did not flinch. "Breeze, Breeze, B-b-b-breeze." Midnight said, on the edge of crying. A light brown stallion in a doctor's coat ran up to Midnight Blast. "Midnight, Sir, I-I-I-I I thinks she’s dead." The light brown doctor told Midnight. Midnight put his head against Breeze's heart. He didn't feel a her heart beating. Midnight broke down in sob. "HAHAHAHA!" Queen Chryalis laughed. “I guess love does die!" Midnight stood up and looked into Chrysalis’ eyes. "Y-y-you killed her!" Midnight yelled." Is that what you’re meant to do? Just kill ponies?! What is the use of that!?!" Midnight Blast yelled.   A yellow mist came out of Summer Breeze's body and started to surround Midnight Blast   "What did she ever do to your kind?!?" Midnight yelled. The yellow mist stream was now swirling around Midnight, lifting him into the air.    "The real joy of my life is now ruined, smashed like glass!" Midnight cried. His purple eyes started to turn to white.    "There is a thing you don't know!" Midnight yelled. "Something that will tell you never to come back," Midnight cried.   "And what is that?" Chrysalis asked.    " Love is a powerful weapon, that should never be messed with!" Midnight yelled with a passion. His horn lit up a bright white and then shot out a electric blast. Chrysalis and her changelings were shot out of Ponyville and were never seen for over 1,000 years     Torchlight yawned, put his notebook back in the drawer, and walked back to his room to go to sleep.
