Griffon Rainbow Dash

"Oh, come on, Twilight!" Rainbow Dash complained, hovering in the air above. "We got to see what it's like being Breezies, so I should see what it's like being a griffon!"

They were both in the library, and Twilight was busy reading a book as Rainbow complained in her face. Ever since they were turned into Breezies, Rainbow kept begging and begging Twilight to turn her into a griffon, or a dragon! But, she always said 'no'.

"Twilight, I need to see what it's like being a griffon, it's always been my dream!"

"Rainbow Dash, I thought being a Wonderbolt was your dream?"

"Yeah, yeah!" Rainbow Dash said in a cocky tone. "That doesn't matter right now! Just please, Twilight! I promise that I won't cause any trouble!" Ever since she met Gilda at flight camp, she was always jealous of her wing speed and her ability to pick up a spoon without using her wings. Besides, who wouldn't want to be a griffon?

"For the last time, Rainbow, my answer is no and it always will be, no matter how much you beg!" Twilight groaned as she closed her book in frustration and went to one of her bookshelves. She put her book away in the right category and sighed.

"Besides, I don't even know how I would turn you into a griffon!"

"But," Rainbow Dash stuttered. "Y-You turned all of us into Breezies like you knew how to do it just like that! If you could turn me into a Breezie, why can't you turn me into a griffon?!"

"Because," Twilight said. "Because... uhh..because there's no spell in any of my books that has that spell!"

Rainbow raised an eyebrow and smirked. She could tell easily when Twilight was either telling the truth or making up a silly excuse.

"Sure," she said sarcastically. "There's no spells about turning somepony into a griffon! Yeah, I buy it."

She dashed toward a bookshelf and grabbed the same spellbook that Twilight used and opened it to spell transformations.

"You liar!" she exclaimed. "It says right here that there is a spell that can turn somepony into a griffon! You better turn me into a griffon right now or I'll keep annoying you about it every day for the rest of your life."

Twilight groaned again and grabbed the book with her magic and looked at the page.

"Fine, I'll let you be a griffon for a whole day! A whole day! Not a week, a month, or a year. A whole day!"

Rainbow clapped her hooves in joy and she flew around the room in excitement.

"I knew you would do it, Twi, you would never let my dreams not come true, thanks Twi!"

"I'm only doing this because you have been annoying me constantly for weeks!"

Rainbow shrugged and landed onto the ground in front of Twilight as she started to do the spell.

It took her a long while to start and before Rainbow could ask impatiently on when she'll do it, a beam hit Rainbow hard and her body started to change.

Her tail got longer, her rainbow mane faded and her back hooves transformed into lion paws and her front legs were eagle talons. A beak grew onto her muzzle and ruffs of rainbow feathers covered her entire front body while her back was cyan blue with griffon wings.

Twilight groaned in exhaustion as she passed out on the floor, panting, and she looked at her friend, and she couldn't believe her eyes.

"Rainbow?" Twilight said as she walked up to her transformed friend. "You're a... griffon! I can't believe it! I thought I couldn't do it, and I did! Oh, sorry... congratulations, Rainbow Danger Dash, you are now a griffon for an entire day!"

Rainbow whooped in victory as she flew in the sky in her new griffon body, and when she looked down, she noticed all of her friends and all of the town ponies gasping in awe as they stared at the flying figure in the sky.

She saw Pinkie Pie and Rarity in the distance near Sugarcube Corner and flew toward them. The two mares gasped in shock as the griffon landed in front of them.

"Hey girls," She said. "Like my new look?"

"Like it?" Rarity said, holding one of her wings. "I love it! You're wings and feathers are beautiful, darling. You mind if I take some for a new fashion line?"

"Well, if Rarity likes it, I like it too!" Pinkie said, bouncing. "I must say, Dashie, you look very dashing!"

Rainbow chuckled a little, she didn't mind a little joke from her pink friend, but with Rarity, all she did was shake her head 'no'.

"Oh, okay, darling," Rarity said. "It's okay! It's just that your feather are absolutely gorgeous. Let me guess, Twilight turned you into a griffon?"

"Eeyup," she responded. "I've been begging her to turn me into one since she turned all of us into Breezies!"

"Oh, we know that," Pinkie Pie said, smiling. "Twilight's been telling us about how you have been-"

Rarity immediately shut Pinkie's mouth with her hoof and smiled nervously. Rainbow pointed one of her talons in confusion.

"Twilight already told you?"

"Yes, darling."

So Twilight has been telling the others on how I've been bothering her for weeks? She thought to herself. Oh, great! Thanks a lot, Twi!

"Are you okay, Dashie?" Pinkie asked.

Rainbow Dash went back into reality and nodded her head as Rarity and Pinkie Pie said goodbye and walked away.

"I better go ask Twilight about this!" She said to herself as she tore into the sky toward the library.
