The sound of a toilet flushing could be heard from the room next door to Soarin'. He turned his
direct attention towards the mare who trotted out, the flashy colored strands of her mane hung down in front of her face.
By the way her face scrunched up, she didn't look to happy.
"I'm pregnant Soarin'." She said, finally looking up at him. Her attention had been captivated by a small
device which marked two blue lines, indicating pregnancy.
"I can't believe I'm pregnant." Rainbow Dash ran this thought through her head many times. She couldn't quite
shake the concept of this. She refused to believe it was true, but the blue lines told her otherwise. Rainbow took a
chair from the table Soarin' had been sitting at and slumped down into it, hanging her head.
Soarin' hadn't even meant to do this, he knew it had been the alcohol which they had both taken a liking to
earlier during their dinner.
"I'm sorry Dashie.. I- I didn't mean to." He said, his words fumbled about in the air aimlessly. It was almost
as if they deflected off of her.
"I'm never going to be able to join the Wonder Bolts!" She whined, sniffing. Rainbow Dash never cried..
unless it was a very serious matter. This was serious enough surely? Rainbow's magenta colored eyes scanned along the
curves of the cloud floor, which suported the weight below them. She finally looked up, her eyes matching Soarin's
soft gaze, his emerald eyes staring into hers with a sincere apologetic look in them. Tears brimmed her eyes, one
finally managing to escape her tearduct and rolled down her cheek. Soarin' wiped it off with a hoof.
"Look on the bright side.." he said, "at least something good will come out of our intercourse." A goofy grin
plastered his face, and a small grin appeared on Dash's as well. Rainbow Dash thought for a moment, scratching her
chin with a spare hoof.
"What about the others?" She asked, gasping as the thought crossed her mind. Rainbow Dash would eventually
have to let them know, but wouldn't they be ashamed of her? She was too young to be having foals! But come again,
many ponies have foals around this age.
"I think it would be best if we kept this quiet for now, wait until you give birth, and then we can let
everypony know." Soarin' spoke aloud, wondering if she liked the idea.
"I suppose that's alright, but we don't even know what to buy! We're going to need clothes, food, furniture,
cleaning materials.." Dash spaced off, a look of fear had struck her.
"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll figure it all out." He leaned over and gave her a light peck on the cheek.
"Alright, I have faith in you." She said, letting out a sigh. Rainbow Dash actually had very little faith
at the moment, and she doubted she was ready for this, But then again, neither was Soarin'. Maybe they could actually
pull this off... if only they could keep quiet, get secret help, and stay hidden for the next 9 months.
