Packing our bags for the big trip. All of us carried heavy packs and would have to bear a large amount of pain as we walked, but it was necessary. We would have to carry a large amount of food with us to make this trip possible. Something had wiped out the human race and the six of us were luckily enough to meet up after days of walking around the city. There was no power. Not even in batteries. It was almost as if something had came in and wiped the earth clean of energy. All of us would have to adapt to the new world. There would be no phones, game systems, or even clocks and watches to help us keep time. That was left to the sun. To all of us, it was like a giant EMP bomb had landed stealthily and released a toxin to kill the population, however, we weren't sure of what killed everyone. We will probably never know what took our families and friends, but at least we can't say were alone. We have eachother. Not that thats very much comfort to any of us. We left the city behind us and in our pasts. We could never help the people who were there if there were any, and likely wouldn’t have even if we could. Those people left behind would be helpless and would die of the same way everyone else did. One by one, they would all fall to the black and sleep eternally. All of our packs were full. Each and everyone of us carried a backpack weighing nearly a hundred pounds each. Kind-of like a nice backpacking trip, except we didn’t know how far we were walking. But we knew what we were walking for. We were walking to our new home. We were traveling to find a place to settle down and live our lives. We were walking for the new world and no matter how far this path took us, we would keep on walking. All six of us would walk, and walk, and walk till we reached rich lands. The six of us walked in a small, compact bundle. We believed that if we kept tight, and if we stayed out of sight, we would not be seen by some other survivor trying to desperately get resources. And that meant keeping what we have. Soon enough, we found a small plot of land. There, we found a small shack, green grass, and fertile land. Looked like home to all of us. And so, we stopped. I was the last one into the building as I was the youngest. Nathan went in first. He acted as the leader of our small group. He was the oldest and the wisest, but he was still young like the rest of us. We all were from the age of Fifteen to twenty nine. However. Nathan always wanted to rush into situations like they could easily be handled with the swing of an axe or the sting of a bullet. He never looked for the advice others could give him and always thought that no one could out-smart him. Truth is, with how straight forward he is, I could easily out-do him in most situations. Several years of camping to learning for the programs offered around town and the various survival books I had ( And always kept with me) had led me to the ability to create traps and other items for surviving on my own. Nathan would never let me prove my self worth though. He always said that if he needed me, he would let me know. What happened after we entered the shack was beyond my own skill. We were attacked by some creature. It had talons like an eagle and the head of a lion. It’s wings jutted out of it’s body like they didn’t belong and its legs bent at an abnormal angle. It pinned Nathan against the wall and dug its claws into his throat. He screamed for help but none of us moved. The beast kept on screeching at  everyone until it couldn’t sink it’s claws any further into his throat. What happened next should never be put into words. But here I am saying them. The wild beast yanked it’s claw back from his neck, taking all the innards of Nathans neck with it. I saw the flash of red after his blood hit my eyes. That beast just decapitated Nathan.  Even while he was dead, the creature still clawed at him and tore at his body.       I swear he was looking right at me when he died. He looked like he had something to tell me that he would now never be able to say. But overall, he looked sad. He wasn't scared and he wasn't crying in the pain. He just had that look that could give you the answers to everything, knowing that those answers would never be spoken. A puddle of his blood that had formed under his carcass was still growing when the thing finally stopped tearing at his flesh. It lurched its head at the rest of us and we near instantly got ourselves together enough to run. Luckily for us, the door was still close while the beast was across the room, giving us enough time to make it out and shut the wild creature in. It ferociously scratched at the door. The beasts tail could be heard rapping over certain parts. It must be looking for a weak spot to break though. I knew what we needed to do. “ RUN!” And so we ran. We ran until we couldn’t run anymore and could only hope that the beast wouldn’t follow us. Eventually, we found a small river and took in our surroundings. The land around us was a flaming red. It looked as if the whole area was on fire. Felt like it too. We had found ourselves in a rural country area. The only building in sight were clustered into what looked like a small town. A few signs could be seen from our location and the possibility of a few water pumps. All the nearby establishments had an old and worn out look to them. From the looks of it, this place could be abandoned, yet hopefully, still in working condition. " I think we should set up camp here." I said. " Alec. Why would we setup here. Were exposed here. The only thing we have is water and that only serves us a few purposes. " Bradley had spoken up. She was still a young girl and was only nineteen years old. She had some sort of mental disorder but she refused to tell any of us what it was. She was about five foot eight inches and very lean. Probably because of the limited food we were entitled to. " We have what we need here," I replied. " We can filter water and the river is deep enough to take a bath in. And a bath, is something we all need. Desperately." I looked over the four other people in our little bunch. I stood inches over all of them. Even though I was the youngest, I was the tallest of each of us." Braden, you go get a fire started." I was at that moment that Braden stopped me. " Who put you in charge, Alec. You're to young to lead a group." He was going to be stubborn about his duties and I knew if from that day on. " You don't have the experience needed for this kind of role." "I have more experience than anyone else here. And I sure as hell have more experience with leading than you do." He backed off for the time being. He knew it was true and would need to build a better argument before he could confront me again. " Apel," She was the only other girl in our group."  I need you to unpack the gear. Get the filters first and then get me every spare rope that we have. After that, do what you can to help the rest of us set up camp." She nodded and went to work. While the rest of us started setting everything up, we heard something. It wasn't a bad something but we weren't sure if it was good either. It was more of a rustling sound. Like the wind was blowing the grass to play us a little melody. The sound was music to my ears. It went on for nearly an hour. We had finished setting up everything and were just taking time to rest. Everyone was quiet as they were all to tired to talk or sleeping.  " Finally. Something that doesn't hurt." I laid on my back and used my arms as a pillow. I pulled out a small pocket watch and a 9mm bullet out of my pocket. My grandfather gave me the watch when I was a kid as a present before he died. I was only six years old at the time and didn’t understand that he was passing. The bullet was givin to me some time before that day. My grandfather was going out hunting and said that if anything were to attack him, there would be a bunch of little holes in their bones created by these bullets. He even brought me a bone from a bear that had attacked him to prove his point. I should have known better than to gulp soup down after the animal had bullets residing in it. That night was cold and hard and very attractive. This night was perfect. The air was nice and cool and it felt as if nothing in this world could hurt me or ever bring me down again. That was, until Apel started crying. We all watched as she released into her pillow. We asked her why she was crying and she said she was scared. The answer didn’t surprise me in the least. Im sure we were all scared. We all had individual things to be scared of as we were moving to another land and had no idea what to expect. We were all scared because of that creature possibly following us. We were also scared because we all knew that if we all died, there would be no more humans left to roam this planet. I think the only thing we all truly needed to fear was death itself. Each of us were extremely important to the future of the human race. When we finally got her to calm down and we resorted to talking to each other for the comfort of not being alone.  We talked for nearly an hour before I decided that it would be best to all get some rest. John was the last person to say anything. It was also the only thing that he had said that night. “ If that creature comes back, who do you think it will for first?” I gave a look telling him to stay quiet and he wasn’t one to refuse. However, the question did linger in my mind. Who would the creature go for first? ______________________________________________________________ I awoke to the sound of the cans jingling throughout the night air. It sounded as if something was caught one the rope. It keep on jingling and jingling like it was moving the beat of some strange tune. I got out of my sleeping bag to go inspect the sound and instantly tripped over the rope that was between mine and Johns tents. After I landed, I had all the more reason to be worried. I had landed where his head should have been but nothing was there. I quickly got back to my feet and rushed over to where the cans were slapping  together. There was nothing there. The sound stopped as soon as I got within range of seeing it. I’ll admit I was nearly scared to death. What had happened was obvious. Only a fool out of a horror movie couldn’t see what was going on here. I guess I knew now who the creature would pick off first now. I rushed back to the tents to wake everyone up. Every bit of help would be needed to carry any sort of plan out. The tents came into my view soon and what I saw scared me shitless. The same thing that had attacked us earlier was walking about all the sleeping bodies of my friends. This wasn’t how I was hoping things would happen at all. “ Hey! Hey Ugly!,” I screamed at the beast but nothing seemed to phase it in the least. I had resorted to using the ground to my benefit. There were several rocks around me that I could throw at it so I picked up a few in my hand and threw them one at a time at the creature. The first two somehow managed to miss the thing that was nearly five times my own size but when I did,  got pissed. It let off a massive roar which awakened everyone in the group. It started to slowly gain ground on me. The thing was teasing me. I knew exactly what I needed to do. I ran to the left of where all the tarp tents were set up. The beast was quick to follow and I knew that if I were to stop for a second, it would kill me. What I saw was a miracle to my tired muscles. I large wooden box-like structure was in front of me and quickly approaching. So was the front where I could run inside. All I could do was hope that my friends would be up and ready for this. I ran inside the box and stood at the back, waiting for the thing to follow me in. I put on my best act to look as scared as possible for the creature. My hand sled down to a small bump in the wood and I made sure to hit it as hard as I could. It saw that I was moving and jumped at me. A small square in cage had came open which was just big enough for me to fit in and I escaped. The large door to the cage closed and locked the beast in place while I had came out the back. The creature wouldn’t be able to follow me since the door was to small but the cage wouldn’t hold it for long. Hopefully it would last long enough for us to find a home though. I looked away from the cage and true joy filled me. John was sitting directly behind me and I couldn’t help but hug him. I had thought he was dead. I got up and offered him a hand which he took and used to  get himself off the ground. It was then that I noticed he was injured. His thigh had been torn from his bone and the major artery had been exposed. It wasn’t torn but it would only be a matter of time before something set in and killed him naturally. I took him ever to my tent and wrapped his leg with a few of my shirts, that leaving me with only one spare. “ We need to move from here. I’m sorry to have to do this to you, but you going to have to carry your own backpack. You can use me and Braden to help you walk but we can’t carry you.”  He nodded in response. About fifteen minutes later, we had packed all the necessities and had taken a move on. The creature was clawing at hit cage. It would only last another hour at the max. ______________________________________________________________ The hour had passed and we had only walked two or three miles at the max. We were having a hard time carrying on as John as he was carrying a heavy backpack. The sun was just rising and a new day had begun. A small dot had formed on the ground in front of where I was standing. It shone slightly brighter than any of the other areas where the sun was shining it’s rays. This small portion was about the size of a dot from a pencil mark. I decided to find out where it was coming from by sticking my hand near it from several different angles. After several tries, I managed to stick my hand in the correct place to stop the dot from hitting the sand. However, I did get a small burn. Conclusively, this dot was coming from the north. We had been coming from the correct direction and would hopefully reach some place to call home soon. I told the group about our possible landing. ______________________________________________________________ We soon reached our destination. Observations had shown us that we had ended up in a strange little town. All the buildings were rather short and maybe stood as tall as me at the most. That all being but the Inn which was about five feet over me. There were a few water pumps scattered around but none of them looked very functional. “ What the fuck,” Braden looked entertained by the small town. “ Were in the city of midgets.” “ Maybe there normal sized people here.” I said “What are the chances of a bunch of short people getting together and forming a town? ” “ I think we should look inside.” John acted like even after the last time we entered a building, nothing had happened. “ All the houses are small, the residents probably can’t even hurt us.” He looked over in our direction. “ And I can hear music coming from the slightly larger building over there” He pointed over at one of the larger places with a picture of what looked like a glass of beer on a sign over it. Braden took off over to the building while the rest of us walked. He had entered the hub while at the same moment, we were stopped by a very cute little pony. I was the first to see it and bent down to pet its head. “ You think this is a breeding town?” I looked over at John, hoping for an answer. “ Possibly” That was all he used to respond. Bradley was next to talk. “ Guys. I think the TV has no such thing as a cartoon with ponies in  them. Can’t really call them cartoons if thats what they actually look like.” “ I don’t think any of you guys have seen an actually pony before have you?” I responded. “ because this isn’t what they look like. Or maybe the ones in our world are wrong…” We had a short silence before the pony ran off into the tavern we were heading for. A short walked showed us our way inside the tavern where we stopped instantly. Braden was standing next to us with just as much awe as there was terror. The entire room was filled with ponies. The music we had previously heard was gone and the room was filled with tension between the two species. It felt like we had been standing there for an hour. My legs started to wobble and I grabbed onto John in the case that we would need to hurry out. I told the girls to step outside and took John to the door where he could support himself. The feeling my gut was giving me about these ponies was scary yet electrifying at the same time. I inched closer to the the herd. They kept their eyes on me as I got closer and closer. Soon enough, I was within an arms length of one of them and reached out to touch it’s head. It’s breathing turned rapid as my hand go close and leaned back once my hand was inches away. Soon enough, I found my hand resting on the ponies head. It continues staring for a moment before it fell to the ground our of fear. The pony had fainted and the crowd was looking at me again. However, they were staring with a much more frightened look than anything. I heard someone yell something from behind the crowd that I couldn’t understand. It set all the ponies off. They went scattering about the building and some of them ran outside. Others ran in directions that would lead them nowhere. I moved to assist John out of the pub before he got trampled but was surprised to see that he wasn’t there nor was he on the ground. As my instincts to survive kicked in, I myself quickly swung myself outside where I was hoping it would be safer. I meet up with the rest of my group and tried to get an understanding of what exactly was happening. My thoughts were caught when someone spoke up. An argument started up, but eventually, it became too much for me to think over and a rose from my spot on the ground to hush them. I never did say anything. I just pointed at what was coming for us. This is one of those things you never truly expected to happen to you. And in this case, it would be hailstorm by pies. ______________________________________________________________ With the tide of pies coming our way, we were lucky enough to find refuge behind a large rock that looked like it may have been the start of a mining tunnel. The constant thumping of pies could be heard around the small tunnel behind us and echoed with an eerie shallowness. We may have been sitting there for nearly an hour before they stopped. Only one short splatter later and we were all looking over our cover to see what was happening. In between us and the cult of ponies was a tall royal looking figure that stood above all the rest. Not quite as tall as me but nearly there. Once I took a quick look, I noticed that the last splatter had come from the taller pony as it had been hit. The tall pony quickly shook it off. A young one was then pushed toward it by an adult in the cult. I showed a small amount of fear for the colt as the pony I was guessing to be their leader was large enough to easily crush the colt with a single hoof. I sunk below the rock again so I wouldn’t have to look. I could feel the tension in the air as I waited for a cracking sound, but it never came. I only heard the gasps of my friends as they were astounded by what they saw. I looked above our position and saw the large pony had laid down to match the height of the colt. It looked like they were talking to eachother but I couldn't understand what I was hearing. The supposed leader did nothing and stood back up, only swaying it’s head around as if it was looking for someone. The colt that was standing next to it pointed over to the rock we were all standing behind. She simply turned her head over to us. I remained standing while my friends had sunk below the top line of the boulder. I felt a burning sensation flush over me as she rested her gaze on my face. A large spike on her head started to glow and my stomach groaned as if I was watching a horror movie. My eyes flew shut as the sickening feeling in my stomach kept growing. I was on the verge of puking and started to gag. My throat started to burn as breakfast started coming up the wrong way, then the strange feeling that had been building in my stomach stopped and my previous meal dropped back into its original resting grounds. I also found myself falling to the ground and landed with a hefty thud. The pony started to neigh uncontrollably. The wild creature looked like it was on a mental rampage as it swung it’s head around to all the other ponies around it. “ Good lord. This horse is crazy.” It stopped swinging it’s head around and he feared that it could understand him. Once again, the tip of its’ head, which Alec now realized was a horn, started glowing.  In fear, he closed his eyes and waited for his impending doom. It never came. For nearly a whole minute, he sat with his eyes closed and his arms over his head before taking a peek at his surroundings.  The same thing that he believed to have been trying to kill him, was now looking upon him care in her eyes. It also seemed much more sentient than it previously had. For the first time in his entire life, he had an animal talking to him. “ I am Princess Celestia. Forgive me if my intrusions have scared you, but I didn’t realize you were a sentient creature.” Alec started, dumbfounded. “ There is a horse talking to me.” He continued to sit with his mouth agape. The Princess quickly cut in. “ I am not a horse. I am but a large pony. I am a princess and I stand over others as they look upon me.” He still sat with his mouth aloft with the wind. “ Now stand and let me see you.” Alec continued to stare. “ Fine.” Celestia used her magic to lift him off the ground. “ Oh my.” He stood just inches above her. He was surely the largest creature she had ever seen that was capable of communication, and hadn’t tried to eat her in their first moments of getting to know each other. Alec soon regained control of his own body as he didn’t want to fall again. And again Celestia started to talk to him. “ You are to come with me to my castle for testing. We will then let you be released if you prove to be safe enough for the inhabitants of Equestria. Now follow me.” She moved to her chariot that awaited her. “ What about my friends?” “Friends?” “ Yes. There is more than just me here. Along with me, there are four others!” Alec pointed at the rock that he had previously been hiding along. Celestia nodded at her guard. “ Misery does love company. However, they will not be coming with us. All five of you along with me will be to much to pull. They will be brought along shortly.  Now come on.” The princess signaled him to the chariot that had brought her here. Along the way back to the castle, I couldn’t do anything about the pony hair in my face. I found myself stroking her incredibly soft and silky mane at one point of time. Then there were guards poking me with spikes. _____________________________________________________ Upon arrival, I was personally escorted to the throne room. It was a vast space with several stain glass windows, all depicting special events in the history of these creatures. Celestia was already sitting on her Throne in a regal manner. A second, unoccupied one sat beside her. “ As it is my duty to protect my kingdom, I must keep you here in the castle. A guest room has been prepared for you and your friends. You will also find the materials that you brought with you there. There are also same forms in your room. If the spell worked correctly, you should have no problem reading them.  Dismissed.” Celestia turned to walk out of the room from a door behind her. The guards escorted me to the room that I would be staying. The ceiling stood nearly seven feet from the floor. To the left, several beds of various sizes had been made. My bags were on the largest. In the forward most part of the room, a small desk with an even smaller stack of papers and a few quills with ink sat, waiting for me. A table fit for a small child fell to my left.  I may as well start working on these papers. Indeed, the paperwork that was due for me seemed to have been writing in english. Ten papers exactly. All having very specific questions such as ‘ Describe your previous living quarters exactly as they were when you left them’. The thought brought a tear to my heart, but I quickly pushed it away and went to grab the quill they had provided for me. The quill tore a small line in the paper. I forgot to dip it in the ink… “ Nope. Not using this. I have a pen in my backpack.” __________________________________________________ The door creaked and slammed behind me, waking me up from the short nap I had taken on the desk. As they entered, I could hear the guards just outside the room chatting as they went back to their normal routines. I rushed past my friends and opened the door with the papers at hand. The door easily slid open, exposing two guards who had brought my friends to me. The first one to react was white and also had a horn like the princess did. He stood his spear up straight and prodded me in the stomach. “ What is your request human.” “ Take these papers to whoever brought them here.” I handed him the papers and he gave a disgruntled grunt. “ Great. So you apes can write to.” The second, gray guard, glanced over at the white one. “ Sorry. He doesn’t normally act like this.” He nudged the white one forward to continue on their routine and left Alec starring from the door. Once they were out of sight, he returned to the room and sat on the bed which was holding his stuff. “ I think that gray one had wings. But thats not possible. Nor should these guys have horns. It doesn’t seem to make sense.” I looked over to my friends who were checking the room out. One of them would let of a series of grunts, but none of them talked. I took it as a coincidence and laid down in the bed. “ Great. Now you guys really are apes.” ________________________________________________________ I awoke to the sun in my face. Guards standing over me. Friends to my sides. A bed under my back and blankets covering my body. Overall, it was already feeling like a- Wait. Guards standing over me?  “ We need you to come with us.” Great. A good day already. “ Coming.” I was lucky to have slept with my clothes on last night, otherwise, I may have embarrassed myself in front of a large amount of ponies. Not that it would matter if I had. These ponies didn’t know if humans normally wore clothing or not. I again came upon the grand room from yesterday. The princess was waiting for me on her chair. When we had walked close enough to her, the guards stopped me and bowed. “ We have brought you the ape Imeanhuman.” Celestia nodded them off and they left the room. “ I have had many workers work tirelessly through the night and a home has been built for you where you will stay for the rest of your time here in Equestria.” She almost sounded excited to have me around as her voice was a slightly higher, showing that she was having some sort of emotion run through her. “ Your friends, like you, will have their own various arrangements while they spend their time here.” " So I wont have any of my friends around with me." It was more of a statement that a question. " Atleast I wont have anyone standing over my shoulder. Almost free." I let my head roll around as I accepted what I was hoping to be a fact. " And you will have somepony to watch over you like a mentor. You are old enough to need a parent figure so I will place you under the care my trusted student, Twilight Sparkle. " Tears to my soul. " Before you leave, however, I would like for you to meet my sister. I would be good for you to know both of the main princesses in Equestria." Another pony entered the room at that moment. She was a dark furred pony with a long night blue mane. Much easier on the eyes than Celestia was. " This is my sister Luna. From what I have observed from what you wrote for me, you like to do most of your work at night. At this time, most ponies will be sleeping. So, my dear sister will check up on you every few days to make sure your having a good stay." I nodded at Luna who only smiled and nodded back. " My guards will now escort you to your new home in Ponyville. The doors bursted through the doors to the room and stood behind me until I caught onto what they were trying to do. They led me down a few flights of stairs and onto a balcony that had a chariot waiting. It was made of what looked like solid gold and had gems engraved into the sides. Looked like I was riding in style. The guards urged me on and latched themselves to the chunk of metal and soon enough, I had wind blowing through my hair as we soured through the wind. I looked back and saw that Luna and her sister were standing outside there own chambers with their wings unfurled. I turned around and took a close look at the guards when my brain started registering what I had gone through the past few days. Brain to Alec. What are we looking at? " HOLY CRAP! I'M IN A WORLD FULL OF UNICORNS AND PEGASI!" Luckily, I wasn't chewing gum. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ I had managed to strike up a conversation with one of the two guards. Both of them were stubborn but the guard on the right cracked when I mentioned Luna. Other then that, they wouldn't talk about anything. It seemed like their soul purposes were to serve and protect the princesses. A short bit of time in our conversation and I found that the guard that I was talking to fancied the darker one. While he wasn't saying it directly, he made it obvious to anyone who may have had any ability to think about things for at least five second consecutively. Once we had landed I made an effort to break the guard by thinking to say as many things as possible about Luna. Nearly half way into all the things I had thought of, the guard that was latched to the left side of the chariot, also know as the one that was completely silent the whole trip,  stopped me from going on.  He had smacked me in the back of the leg and forced me to my knees where he could stare me in the eyes. In a moments notice, he had said something that I would never forget my entire life. " I'd tap that." Both of the guards broke out laughing as a blush crossed my face when the pictures started flowing. " Oh dear. Why would you give me those mental pictures!" The guards started laughing harder as I was unable to stop myself from thinking about it more. Moments had gone by when the guards suddenly stopped laughing. They stood straight and held stern faces as they normally did. From behind me I heard a pony tell the guards to relax and they started snickering again. I looked behind me and found a purplish pony standing. " Prin-prin- I'm sorry. I just can't do it right now." The guard on the right started bursting out in laughter again. I got to my feet to properly introduce myself but soon fell again due to an inability to control myself. I looked over the guard on the left. " I think this ones a little more to your size." He started to stumble for words while the other again burst into fits of laughter and let off his first trial of tears. The purple pony called for silence and had the guards leave before any more 'problems' could occur. They obeyed and took their path back to the castle. " I'm sorry about those two. Any how, I am Princess Twilight Sparkle. But I like for ponies to just call me Twilight." " I'm Alec. Pleased to meet you." I smiled at the small pony who almost matched my height while I on my knees. " So what do we need to do first. Celestia told me that you would be here to help me get started or something along those lines." " Yep. First and last on the list for today is to get you settled into your home. " Twilight turned and started to walk off into the direction Alec guessed would be his house. Together, they walked for about fifteen minutes before reaching the town. It was only noon so most of the ponies were still out, doing what they normally did in there everyday lives. As they approached Ponyville, Twilight led him behind most of the buildings to keep from getting a large amount of attention. Unfortunately, a two mares native to the town were walking behind all the houses as well and caught the two before Twilight could lead Alec away. The first, A cyan unicorn mare rushed up to them before repetitively hoping on all fours. A second, beige earth bound pony walked up slowly. While neither said anything, they both clearly had something to say. The unicorn one a bit more. " Well." Twilight said. " I guess your going to meet the first two residents of Ponyville other than me. This one," She pointed to the cyan mare," is Lyra Heartstrings. The other is Sweetie Drops, but we all call her Bon Bon. " Bon Bon waved while Lyra continues with her bouncing.“ Alec, I think it’s about time that we leave.” I agreed and Twilight led me away from the two mares.  One looked happy as she followed, while the other only came along to stay with the the first. ____________________________________________________________________________ Eventually we arrived at my new house. A very convenient location in my opinion. I would be in a rather quiet part of the town as it was right next to the library and didn’t look like there were too many other homes around. I’ve never really known a quiet place in my life. It had always been vehicles such as cars, trucks, planes, and boats if they were one of the bigger ships. Now it would only ever be the light clopping of hooves as ponies visited the library. “I hope you like your home Alec. I could hear the construction all night long. I’ll be in the library if you need me.” Twilight retreated and left me to settle in. I entered my house but when my I tried to shut my door, it wouldn’t close. I looked down to see that the two ponies me and Twilight had run into had followed me to my house. Bon Bon was halfway through when I tried to close it and was angrily watching me.  Lyra on the other hand had made her way through perfectly fine. I let the two in and looked around my house to see what I could find. The room felt similar in some way. It was almost as if I had been here before. “ I think it would be best if you two left.” I looked down at the two ponies who had followed me. Bon Bon was more than happy to leave, while Lyra was reluctant. “ But I just found a human! Finding your race has been my life goal for years!” She continued to stare at me. “ Nope. Your leaving. Now.” Again, she didn’t move, so I picked her up and took her to the door. She looked up at me with wide eyes of awe and wonder. “ I can feel your hands!” Yep. This pony is not coming back to my house ever again. I opened the door and set her outside. Bon Bon followed eagerly and I closed the door and waited. The same mare that had creeped me out started talking. “ You owe me fifty bits.” ______________________________________________________________ I walked down the hall of my new home and trailed my hand against the wall. It all seemed too familiar to me. The build. The color. The flooring. It creeped me as I continued on. I passed three doors and either side until I stopped. There was one door to my left with flowers engraved into the it. I easily recognized what this was. I took my first steps into the room and my mind filled with memories. This house is an exact replica of my old home.
