Chapter 1: Out with the old, in with the new...Literally
During my life I have serve three masters.
One was a man name Fontaine, who decided to ‘build’ me. He wanted to get more ADAM than his rival, Ryan who both fought in a industrial battle of a city name Rapture. I was suppose to be the ‘super soldier’ of Big Daddies, which mean stronger armor, a powerful drill and a regenerated chip stuck deep inside me.
Making sure I can never be defeated by the Splicers, or others who try to attack me. But before I could get bonded with a Little Sister and head out to gather ADAM I was toss aside. Apparently Fontaine disappear and I was left stranded. However after a few years I heard that he took Rapture.
It was short lived.
Some guy name Jack or something save all the Sisters and took them away, and what worse killed Fontaine. So guess what happen to me? Went down to Persephone and rust there. Then sometime later I met some woman by the name of Sofia Lamb who decide to use me to get rid of my fellow brethren Delta of the Alpha series.
Ah yes, I forgot to mention who I am did I?
Sorry forgot that someone was reading my journal.
I am part of the Alpha series, my designation is Subject Zeta.
Now then as I was saying, originally she wanted me to kill Delta, but there were complications. First off I needed time to adjust my body as I was held in chains deep within this place that it took a while for me feel my body move again.
Second I never use the newest weapons like the shotgun, or rivet-gun, not even the launcher. And finally I never had a plasmid in my entire daddy life.
So yeah.
Even before I could walk out of the doors to do my ‘mission’, guess what? All Little Sisters are gone, Delta is gone with his original Little Sister, and I am alone. Again.
Thankfully I’m not tied up in some room, sad part is that I have to fight for my survival. The damage halls here look a little better than before the halls I left. There were some bombs being blown off by my former ‘mistress’ as she tried to kill Delta and his Sister.
Honestly I’m surprise that these halls don’t break at all, not to mention that there wasn’t much Splicers, There was a train here somewhere, but I can imagine that it was destroy much like everything else in this city.
My drill is upgraded to the third point, however my rivet-gun is second level with damage increase and more ammo, my launcher is just upgrade in one and that is the damage immunity. To hell with more ammo, just because I can regenerate doesn’t mean it still hurts.
My aim with the rivet and launcher is better than it originally was. And the only plasmids I have is Bolt, and telekinetic. Only form of companionship I have is the security that I hack with that hack tool I found in the midst of dead Splicers.
But then the third master came along. And let me tell you, he wasn't what I expected to be.

Day one: Rapture, Persephone
"Hmm, I do hope this is the right location, otherwise this is all for naught." mutter a 14 year old teenager as he walk through the damage halls of Rapture, or more accurate, Persephone, or the remains of it. Black raven hair down on his face as a strange vest of gray with a jacket of the same color show on him, blue pants on his lower half as some boots gently hit the ground, his pair of glasses are push upward by his left hand.
Honestly I never like going to anything that connects to Rapture, there just so many ways of getting lost by a simple choice. But nevertheless, I must continue onward, only for the sake of getting a certain individual. he thought to himself as he hears his target closer from the sounds of heavy boots.
The teenager looked at the tall being, the underwater suit covering his entire form, a drill ready to pierce whatever the creature hits, and a glowing red light came out of it glass 'eye'.
The teen smile as he took out a small glowing yellow ball, he whistled to the Big Daddy. The giant as the Alpha series roared at him, as it charged, the teen threw the ball at the raging being. As it slammed on the body, the giant stopped, as it became a he, his mind became more calmer....The Daddy stopped before the teen as he smiled and said. "Hello there. I know it seem odd, but trust me. You're regaining your mind. You'll gain everything of who you are, your conscious, and the ability to think once more and dream."
As the glow turned yellow, the being chuckled as he said. "Allow me to introduce myself, I am Grey. And I have been looking for you Zeta."
My....My mind...I can think, I can recall everything since I became a Big Daddy....It wasn't ADAM that did this...I think it wasn't....it was something else, but what? thought the newly free-mind Alpha series as the teen leaned on his leg as he
my feet move on the ground with each small noise as I exit the halls of the prison of a madwoman I felt a bit sad, it’s probably because Splicers don’t come here anymore. Most of the Splicers are in the city, but thanks to the bombs Persephone is cut off from the rest of Rapture. Then I hear a noise coming up to me, my helmet move upward to see something unexpecting.
A sane person.

His right is in his pocket, he stops before me as we both face each other. A small grin shown on his face as he gave a light chuckle. “So how’s the weather up there?” I gave a groan as a mental slap to the face appear in my mind.
At least he isn’t a Splicer, but that begs the question. How the hell did he came here? Better yet WHY is he here?
“I bet you’re wondering on why I am here, better yet on why this place here. Well let me tell you something, I was just starting out my day looking at files when one of my workers brought in a file, apparently goes by the name ‘Zeta’. So I look up this file and notice that you never got out on the field and such. So I decided to pop in the place you was in. Sadly though the last information we could gather on your files said you were in Rapture. So I just left and try to find you. That was a tough work.”
I don’t know what to feel, shock that there is a file on me, or that he knows my name.
“So I travel to all over and found a few things here and there that of interest to me, then I heard from a Splicer or two that there was a ‘big armor fella’ in the abandon prison here. And look where I found you! Right here in this prison, you are a hard person to find Zeta. Now before you say anything I am here to offer you something. A job.”
I gave another groan as my feet began to stomp, my eye color turn tint of orange.
The teens raise his hands and spoke. “Listen, I’m not here to cause trouble. Just hear me out and you can decide to say yay or nay. Alright?” I thought for a moment and allow my color to turn yellow. He gave a nod of his head.
“Alright, now listen, I know you got burn the last two times, so I’m going to sweeten the proposition to you. Work for me. You will work for me to gather a few things, upside for you? You get to leave this place,”
That cause me to the color green. I get to leave this place? Persephone? Rapture itself?
“Yes you get to leave Rapture completely. No more Splicers, no more Brutes, no more sea. And I can get you all the plasmids and upgrade them, including weapons, of course I get to decide on the tonic for you, let just say that the place I want you to go is far different from this place.”
That makes sense, who knows what he has in mind.
“This is the deal, you work for me, swear fealty to me and only me, and do simple jobs for me. In return you get to leave this place, go to a whole new world, get wonderful upgrades on weapons and plasmids, and above all do what you want. You will be free as a bird with no one telling you that you have to get their permission to piss. True you’ll work for me, but other than the jobs you’re free to do whatever you want.
“And a bonus is that I can make you actually be well, let just say you will be a free person from the chains that is holding you down here and speak for the joy of it.”
And just like that I knelt on my knee, if he do what he said he can do I am willing to follow him to hell and back for getting him a snowball. Forget being suspicious, forget doing jobs, if he can let me speak, let me think for myself then he can make me a Big sister for all I care.
He nod his head.
“Good, now then you’ll get the upgrades as promise but you’ll have to earn them, can’t let you go out with new toys that you never play with before. Might accidentally cause some unintentional damage. Same for the plasmids, can’t let you go around on a killing spree.”
This cause me to yellow, of course I can’t exactly blame him too much as much as I want to. Us Big Daddies are bonkers when all we see is red.
“So first of all we are going to train you better with your weapons and plasmids. Make sure you are top notch, I know you knelt and all but we got to make this the real deal, shake on it.” He took out his left hand in the air, waiting for me to shake it as my feet move up and my right hand shake the new boss hand. Hopefully this will go good this time.
“Before we leave I am going to give you a warning,” he move closer as he whispered to my side of the helmet in a deadly, cold tone.
“If you ever betray me I am going to make you wish you never left Rapture.”
A shiver went down in my spine, I don’t know why though, but unlike the other I work for this one has an authority to do what he say he could do. Better make sure to never piss this one off. All my response is that my color turn green, a smile form on his face. “Good,” he let go as he turn to make a strange portal appear before me. “Come along Zeta, we have much work to do.” he enter in without a moment thought, as did I.

Day eight?: Undisclosed location
Well I manage to past all the test the Boss send up to me, everything is a go, plasmids are functional to third level of Bolt and telekinesis. Weapons are the same. The tonics he gave me are full, and above all a new mark on my shoulders showing that I work for him now.
The weapons themselves have been place in a ‘pocket dimension’ so that it’ll be easier for me to not carry them all the time, he said that all I have to do is to think of the weapon and it’ll appear in my right hand ready to use. Another thing is ammo, he said that all I need is scraps for my launcher and rivet-gun.
Drill on the other hand is another thing.
He said that I don’t need fuel to make it work, all I need to make it drill stuff is just let it absorb water, didn’t matter what kind, just needs to be water.
Right now he’s talking to me about the conditions of my voice being heal back, I don’t know what he is exactly, he’s not an angel but he isn’t a demon either. Not exactly a god either, honestly all he said that is he’s a businessman.
Now I had my fair deal with ‘businessmen’ like Fontaine, but my Boss Grey? He’s nothing that I have ever experience. “So the good news is that the healing is beginning to show to your throat and voice, however there is some bad news. Unfortunately due to the lack of healing in the first place of your ‘condition’ its going to take at least three months or so to fully heal, and lets not even talk about speaking.
“Your speech is going to be hard to hear or understand for everyone, but with practice you’ll get better. For now your going to settle with the groaning and moaning as such.” My head nods a bit, well he said I can speak again, so that’s good enough for me, surely my patience can wait even more.
“Good now then here is your first job, you’re heading to a nation call Equestria, a city name Stalliongrad,”
Wait what?
“Yes I know what you’re thinking but I assure you its another realm entirely made of intelligence ponies,”
What?
“And I know that its going to be hard to adjust but I assure you its not going to be all that bad. Hopefully this will be a piece of cake, though don’t get your hopes to up, there are going to be problems. Sadly I can’t send you to the city itself due to some, regulations, but I can at least manage to send you a tad bit close there,”
WHAT?
“Just about three miles or so, anyway when you head over there meet up with my agent by the name Lips, he’ll turn you to the right path.”
STOP IGNORING ME AND EXPLAIN WHAT YOU MEAN BY PONIES?
“So are you ready to, ah I see.”
While he went on talking to me my color began to a hint of orange as he sigh. “Yes I said ponies, I deal with many realms, how else do you explain the many different workers I have? Anyway it’s better than that city, full of fresh air and no walking in the sea.”
My color went to yellow as a sigh went out of me.
“Take care.”
A portal was by me as I check my inventory, a full set of medical aid, and a set of needles. They aren’t EVE since he told me that my plasmids will be fully functional by ‘magic’ of sorts. He told me they’re a bunch of ‘boosters’ told me it’ll help refill my ‘magic’. Honestly to me it’s the same thing, different names.
Still doesn’t matter now, I got a whole new world to see.
