The little assassin

A few weeks past for Lighting and little Rainbow and the doggy Woona. Rainbow was very weary of Lighting for killing her parents, Woona would often start barking if he went anywhere near touching Rainbow. Rainbow through was trying to understand what Lighting was teaching her and the fact that he had learned that she also had two other abilities over then not feeling any pain, teleportation and telepathy.

Lighting was having a hard time in his opinion. He tried to get Rainbow to trust him but how can anypony trust somepony who killed their parents, he also didn't really like the dog that Rainbow called Woona. All Woona did was bark at him for going any where near little Rainbow. He would often enter Ponyville and go to the library owned by Princess Twilight Sparkle and grab out a book about child care or getting a dog to like you. Right now he was walking along the busy streets of Ponyville with the cyan filly with the oddest feathered wings he had ever seen hot on his heels.

He looked at Rainbow who was looking all over the place, This was the first time he had taken her out of the house since he had adopted her so she was very happy. He made it to the outside of the Golden Oaks Library and slowly entered catching the sight of Princess Twilight Sparkle as she was cleaning with the help of the baby dragon Spike. Rainbow entered shortly after stopping to smell some flowers and looked around and soon was looking at some books. Twilight went up to Lighting and asked.

''Is that the pony your trying to raise?'' Lighting could only nod as he looked at his adoptive daughter as she was flapping her wings to look at some of the higher books. Twilight spotted that he wasn't looking at her and followed Lighting's eyes to were he was looking. He was looking at the small cyan pegasus filly with pure rainbow mane and rainbow feathers.

''Um sir I don't mean to be rude but whats her name and how old is she?'' Lighting looked away from Rainbow Magic and said.

''She called Rainbow magic and she only 3 years old'' Twilight's jaw dropped as she remembered the filly flying.

''She's 3 years old and she can fly?!" Lighting nodded and went to grab a yellow book with a picture of a little pink filly playing with some toys. He opened it and quite a bit of things was in it, there was a page for feeding a child, bathing a filly which had was finding annoying hard. Their was also a page full to the brim of lullabies and also a page about what happens when school starts. He nodded his head and stared at the filly who was still flying but now carrying at least two books on her back and had one in her mouth.

He face hoofed at this and shook his head and went back to Twilight and asked.

''How many books am i aloud to borrow'' Twilight answered with 5 at the most. He nodded and went back to his adoptive daughter and said.

''You can have 3 books only'' She nodded and looked at the now 5 books in her hooves. They were all education books that fillies would read in school which he was shocked at. She looked at them all and soon picked a bright pink one with all four pony types printed on the cover, a blue one with a picture of unicorns, pegasi and earth ponies cleaning up winter and lastly a yellow book with a picture of a dog and puppies. He looked at the yellow one in confustion then remembered that Woona seemed to be getting bigger and bigger as the days drew on.

Could it be that she was pregnant with puppies? Meanwhile little Rainbow was flapping her wings as she carried the other two books and placed them back into place. She then closed her eyes while flapping her wings and uttered in her head and sent it straight to Lighting. Your thinking that Woona is pregnant aren't ya? Well she is and i wanna help her raise the puppies. Lighting stood their in shock but made a slight nod. Rainbow smiled and flow back down to the floor and made a prefect landing. She picked up her books with her hooves and placed them in a pile on her back. Twilight who had been watching couldn't help but smile at the fact a filly so young could fly and wanted to learn about pony types, winter wrap up and dogs. She then said.

''Okay you two you need to bring the books back in three weeks time.'' Lighting looked confused and said in a confused tone.

''Three weeks?'' Twilight nodded and said.

''I spotted your daughters liking to studying and wanting her to have enough time to learn'' Lighting nodded taking the answer and said.

''Princess Twilight Sparkle. If you don't mind would you help teach my adoptive daughter things I don't have the knowledge to teach her in such as the traditions and things that she should know at this age.'' Twilight smiled and nodded accepting it.

''Thank you princess. I gonna take my leave now'' He left with Rainbow waving bye while flying and carrying her new books. Twilight waved at the three year old then went back to work. Rainbow contiued flapping her wings as she followed her adoptive father.

''She very kind isn't she?'' She did a loop-de-loop but her books didn't fall off; she was going to fast for that to happen.

''Yeah and you now can get a better education so quit answering things that i don't know'' Rainbow nodded and they continued to a saddle bag store. They were all kinds of saddle bags and they were here for one purpose; to get a saddle bag for Rainbow to carry her stuff in.

''Pick one then'' Rainbow nodded and looked at them then spotted one with a beautiful color. It was rich pink and had a rainbow printed on it and had wings coming out of the strap that keep the two saddle bags together. She picked it up and showed it to lighting who nodded and payed the bits as little Rainbow slowly put it onto her back after taking her books off her back then she put her three books into her saddle bag. She looked in the mirror and it looked like she had two pairs of wings but the wings on the saddle bag were white and shading into pink unlike her wings.

Lighting nodded actually liking the look that Rainbow had with her little saddle bags on and smiled before they walked to get more stuff. By the time they finished, Rainbow had spotted a teddy bear with a ripped open ear and nopony seemed to want it. She looked  up and lighting pleading him to bye it. He tried to resist but eventually gave it when she began doing a puppy dog face and tears appearing in the corners of her eyes. He went up the store where the teddy bear was being sold and asked.

''How much is the teddy bear?'' The owner smiled and said.

''Only two bits as it won't sell so i lowered the piece'' He nodded and gave her two bits and she got the teddy and gave it to him. He carried the teddy to Rainbow who instating took it and placed it into her saddle bag; the opposite to the books. Lighting signed and said.

''Come on home time'' Rainbow nodded and they walked off into the setting sun's light.
