Z-Z-Zombies?!
Stop Screaming!
Load Full StoryIt seemed like a regular day in Ponyville, nothing really out of the ordinary minus the few clouds that had drifted over head. The weather team must’ve forgotten about those.
Everything seem oddly quiet as Sunset Scarf made his way to sugar cube corner. He had a creamy skin with a horn that erupted from his bright orangey mane that ended off in streaks of yellow. His horn was multi coloured, Orange and cream going in separate swirls.
He wore a scarf that was close to dragging on the floor for how low down it was around his neck it was a deep purple that ended off in a light pink, hanging from the edge of his nose was thick round black glasses that made his eyesight a whole lot better, his eyes were a mix of orange and purple that swirled together.
He was indeed a blank flank, nothing he really could do about that, but his flank was specked with orange freckles that gave off the impression that he did have a cutie mark.
A few ponies were out, enjoying the early day, and nothing was really there to disturb them.
Then came the constant trotting and flapping noises. It made ponies stop to at least take a look around.
Flap Flap.
Trot Trot.
Two ponies was all it took to dash past and chuck Sunset’s scarf directly into his view sight.
The two were screaming at the top of their voices to get out of town and far away as possible.
Removing his scarf he looked at the two ponies who had now stopped and were frantically trying to warn and tell others to get out of the town.
The first was an earth pony with deep grey skin and an even deeper red mane that overlapped his eyesight slightly.
The other was a Pegasus, having deep blotchy light blue spots around her dark blue skin was a nice sight, her mane a deep grey that was scruffed upwards in a messy yet personal style.
They had mentioned their names were Glitch Beat and Chiptune.
“We would like to gather everypony’s attention, the town of Manehatten has been over-ridden with a virus and…they’re coming this way” Chiptone managed to choke out, a few of her blotchy feathers falling to the floor in her flapping haste.
“The living dead are coming!” Glitch beat panted out, hopping from one hoof to the other, trying to express how important this was.
Ponies began to panic, in a frantic talk to one another.
“All of you need to leave here immediately!” the two spoke in union before dashing out of the way to warn others, and many other ponies followed in pursuit.
Sunset shuddered, looking down at the ground. He knew there was something off about today, but zombies?!
Shaking his head he took two hoofsteps forward, It just had occurred to the young stallion that it was more cloudy than before, his own fur getting brushed along by the sudden wind.
He was in an empty part of the square, moments ago it was filled with life and chatter, but now just drained of life and energy. He sighed as he took another which turned into a trot...this was going to be a long long day.
"Sunset! Psst!" the voice made his ears stick up, the left one twitching as he swung his head round to come face to face with a Pegasus.
Oh.
Her.
Her was referred to as Morning Star, a bright orange pegasus with black dotted hooves, and an orange and yellow mane that just about reached the floor.
"C'mon, lets ditch this place! you and me exploring the world from the Zombie outbreak!"
Oh.
Right.
She was a zombie fan.
"I don't think thats the wisest decision, Morning, I think doing it alone would be so much easier?"
"Great! So I'll go get Nebula and Steampower!" her wings gave his fur a brush as she blasted off, heading into the sky.
